Wrote to author about Anatabloc which shows it pays off
Hi Reid
How about doing an article about Star's Anatabloc how it is changing athletics completely and the lives of people using this natural supplement at GNC?
Regards
Nutraceutical Supplement ANATABLOC AT GNC works on reducing and modulating INFLAMMATION throughout the entire body hence amazing MUSCLE RECOVERY from exercise ,SLOWS AGING and REDUCES PAIN plus a natural ANTIDEPRESSANT that makes you feel YEARS YOUNGER ALL for a daily cost of less than a cup of coffee.
Thank you. The question is whether Big Pharma can reengineer the Star synthesis patent so they would not be infringing. It was stated this is not "rocket science."
On the patent and other issues anyone have contact with Patrick Cox? He would have answers. How about Dr. Wilson?
So their is a science question also in addition to patent:
"Any future competitor can come up with another process to produce anatabine synthetically. It's not rocket science and"
TRUE FALSE??? How easy is it from science standpoint?
This is the part that makes no sense since the RJR lawsuit patent infringment has nothing to do with Anatabine intellectual property. The lawsuit validated the Star patent.
"It's not rocket science and there's nothing Star can do since they were unable to protect their patent against RJR. Essentially, it's a commodity."
McDonnell’s attorney: Star Scientific got no public money http://tinyurl.com/mbhbr4k
An audit conducted by Anthony F. Troy and released today by McDonnell’s office finds that three meetings occurred between state officials and Jonnie Williams Sr. or an employee his company, Star Scientific.
“Based on my review, there have been no public funds, grants or contracts from the agencies discussed below to Star Scientific,” the three-page letter states. “Likewise, there have been no gubernatorial appointments made to Jonnie Williams or any officer of Star Scientific.”

I had chronic pain in my lower leg since my hip replacement. This is common in a small percentage of patients. I was under the care of a pain and spinal specialist who tried everything, including spinal injections and various drugs. Nothing worked, and I rejected any spinal surgery. However, after using Anatabloc I no longer suffer the pain. It also relieves my arthritis pain in my hands.

I also “too the leap of faith” because I have Hashimoto’s thyroiditis(the autoimmune version of hypothyroidism). The studies showed that anatabine eliminated the antibodies, so I just wanted to see what would happen since my 6 month labs were due in 3 months from when I started the Anatabloc. Previously, taking levothyroxine, my antibodies had dropped and last May, they were 32;in November they were 36. I just had my new labs, and the antibodies are showing >1.0 iu/ml, i.e. NEGATIVE. I don’t think this is coincidental and am going to experiment myself by not taking the levothyroxine for 6 months until my next labs, using only the Anatabloc to see if the antibodies stay at >1.0. If they do, then I will know that it works and if they soar, then obviously it doesn’t. Incidentally, at the same time, my total cholesterol went from 211 to 186;my triglycerides from 118 to 98, my HDL from 59 to 68..the ldl was more or less the same, from 99 to 98.
Also, my overall pain from fibromyalgia has been greatly reduced.
I’d prefer to be able to use it rather than taking levothyroxine for the rest of my life. My mother and brother both had consequences when they were in their 70's.

Joe, I appreciate an understand your opinion. Unfortunately, the majority of Americans do not follow this type of diet. That said, even if they did, I seriously doubt they would get the same benefits that Anatabloc provides to people suffering all sorts of inflammation related illnesses. I am a perfect example . I am fit and eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. But, I still suffer from allergies and arthritis. Both of which have been eliminated by Anatabloc.

What else is there but human circumstances, I took the Leap of Faith and I’m taking less advil, sleeping a good long stretch, waking up in NO PAIN, and as I approach my 4th month, finding I’m taking even less of the lessened advil I was taking for yrs prior….Humans are the best evidence and our circumstancs of what we are experiencing is what it is…I’ve tried mega other anti inflammatories, a pharma one put me in the ER in the 80's, so I avoid pharma drugs at all costs to my body…and mind…

Interesting,
Having been on Anatabloc for five months, only recently upping the dosage as recommended, I have seen several benefits to date.
I have had issues with swollen ankles after standing for hours at events I attend, or walking for more than a few miles, and it was consistent. Well, not anymore, and I have pushed myself just to verify that the swelling is no longer an issue. So this was my first benefit which I was able to verify.
I also had bad knee from old motorcycle accident which would act up whenever I pushed myself, and I always knew when it was about to storm well ahead of weather reports for my knee would start hurting. No more pain, even after a run which I had not been able to do in decades without paying for it with pain for days. So this was my second benefit realized.
Now here is where it gets interesting, I have had ongoing issue with inflammed gums which would act up every other month even after having a root canal which was suspected to be causing a decade of pain, to no avail, it continued for years after root canal. Granted, I do have receding gums which were also treated, but nothing helped with the swollen gums which would act up on regular basis every other month.
I have not had this annoying pain for over four months now, in fact, my gums have never looked better, and I swear my receding gums are getting better, but I didn’t connect the dots to Anatabloc until hearing it benefits gum disease recently, so it is not a case of placebo effect in my case, and as a skeptic on supplements to start, I am becoming a true believer based on personal results.
Now here is the next benefit, which again I did not know would impact weightloss when I started. I was only focused on my swollen ankle and knee pain issues. Having just read some posts on those who are losing weight, it got my attention for I have mysteriously dropped 18 lbs. which was near impossible for me in the past having tried every method and product known to lose weight. So is it Antabloc, I don’t know, but I have not been doing anything more than I was over the past four months, in fact, even less do to work load, so I have not been exercising as much as I would have been doing if not so busy at computer. So is this an aid to weight loss, who knows, but having tried to drop 20 lbs. for decades, this was a shock.
Good health to all, Mike

Mike,
My dentist and hygienist were so impressed with the improvement in my gums that everyone in that office takes Anatabloc now. My dentist is sort of a ‘large’ guy and raves now over how much better his knees feel.

After years of using prescription drugs (with minimal relief) for arthritis pain, which resulted in bleeding ulcers, I tried Anatabloc. 3 weeks of dissolving 2 tablets 3 times a day has convinced me. I had debilitating thumb joint pain for years with minimal results from the prescription drugs. Now I am almost pain free with an incredible range of motion. My hips and knees also are pain free.
There was a human study in Florida which ended in January. The results are not posted yet. Based on the side effects of the prescriptions I have taken (stroke, heart attack stomach bleeds etc.) I’m willing to continue to take it until I find results with negative sided effects. I paid 79.99 at GNC and over 160.00 for the useless prescriptions. I’m keeping an eye out for the human study results.

Dorothy, amen…I ended up in the ER in the early 80's from a pharma drug for inflammation, so I know that one…so for me, going into my 4th month, anatabloc is where it’s at for this body and MIND…..

I have been using Anatabloc for 2 weeks now. This winter my joints caused me extreme sharp pain …. I was taking anywhere from 3 to 5 liquid Aleve pills a day just so I could be free of the heavy, sharp pain. Within 36 hours of taking Anatabloc the sharp pain in knees GONE; and as of yesterday the sharp pain upon lifing my legs up just to get dressed is now GONE ALSO. I will say that my leg muscles still are tight and need ‘therapy’, but the PAIN IS GONE.

Hi Joe, I posted in February about how Anatabloc helped control persist chronic swelling of my upper lips. I was diagnosed with CHEILITIS GRANULOMATOSA an auto immune disorder that was quit terrifying to say the least. I went to see my specialist yesterday and he was amazed at how my lip had healed and responded to the Anatabloc. My doctor had never heard of Anatabloc before but after reading the ingredients on the bottle he suggested that I continue taking the supplement.
In a few months from now I will discontinue taking the Anatabloc and see what happens. This product has been a game changer in my life. I feel great, lots of energy, my brain seems to focus better, and most important I can look at myself in the mirror. Thanks Joe.
Maurice May 9, 2013 at 2:21 pm
I guess I should clarify something. I have no intention of quitting Anatabloc in the near term, but, perhaps in a few months or a year from now I would slowly reduce the dosage and see how I respond. I have to admit I am a bit curious! We might have some research results back by then and more information about the product. I will also have my annual physical this summer and see how it has affected my cholesterol levels and my TSH. My TSH rose significantly on my last physical and I am betting that its lower now. We will see.

On a plane trip from Florida to Iowa and back last June, my rear end was so sore I had to get up and walk. I had x-rays, and arthritis was the cause. I began taking Anatabloc. On a trip to Wisconsin in February, I had no soreness. I used to have difficulty lying on either side in bed because of pain in my shoulders. It’s gone. I was walking briskly and developed occasional pain in my upper thighs. That doesn’t occur anymore. My right hand was stiff. No more. I’ve been running sprints and doing squats and abdominal exercises, etc., which have been causing back and neck pain.
In recent days I increased the dosage to the maximum six tabs a day (three to four previously), and the pain and soreness seem to be lessening, though I need more time to assess. I am, after all, 75 years old, so it might take a little longer to kick in.
Allan May 12, 2013 at 4:01 pm
Robert, thanks for sharing.
I’ve experienced the same body / system improvements that you speak of and to the point, I find myself having to throttle myself down so that I don’t get carried away from feeling so darn good.
I take 2 Anatabloc 5 times a day. I weigh 200 lbs and am 70 yrs. young and on Anatabloc, feel like I’m getting younger.
Have a great day and GLTA.

Update: Riding my Recumbent Bike Daily….mostly now 15 minutes and will work up to 30 slowly. Prior to hip replacement in Oct 2010, I was a gym workout queen and then used my recumbent at home…
Hip surgery threw me into a spinal stenosis mess and I could NOT sit for a very long period of time, a couple minutes at most…it was absolutely HORRIBLE….for a good year or more…
In last qtr 2012 I went thru 16 sessions of acupuncture on spine and lower back etc…and those helped….
But as of January this year, everything has improved so much that I can SIT and even riding the recumbent now….
So I KNOW Anatabloc is the best I’ve ever tried re: anti inflammatories…granted the last 3 yrs have been my worst in my soon 75 yrs….
Carol Albright May 27, 2013 at 1:57 pm
At 75, I had a titanium ankle joint surgically installed to replace one that was injured. The joint works well. However, the anesthesiologist did not read my medical history well, and he gave me a local anesthestic that was not appropriate for me. It was injected into the sciatic nerve. A similar medication was injected into the same nerve for three days post surgery.
The nerve became inflamed and swollen. The swelling squeezed out the blood supply to the nerve fibers, which died. This process was very painful–for example, any diabetic can tell you that a dying nerve (diabetic neuropathy) hurts a lot. (I’m not diabetic.) Six weeks after surgery the nerve was dead. My foot was paralyzed and without sensation.
I changed doctors; some of the best orthopedists in the country tested the nerve function, predicted permanent paralysis, and fitted me with a brace.
I could feel that the nerve was still very inflamed, and in an effort to treat it, I took 6 or 8 Anatabloc a day. The inflammation eased, and the nerve commenced to regrow, from the top down. Nerves grow at the rate of an inch a month, so the entire healing process from knee to toe took more than a year. Now, to the amazement of my distinguished doctors, my foot has normal motion and sensation.
Maybe there is another explanation for this story. Meanwhile, I keep taking Anatabloc.

Ben, you’ll get no argument from me with most supplements and the claims made but with Anatabloc the it’s different. It is the first supplement to make a material difference in my overall health and fitness. Simply from eliminating chronic inflammation in my joints and the rest of my system. If you’re over 50 and otherwise healthy you should try it .

G, I’ve had lower back pain for the better part of 25yrs, Not constant but always 1 wrong move away. I could count on 2-3 severe episodes per year of pain and the inability to straighten up.I’d walk around with tightened buttocks because I could not relax the muscles w/o extreme sharp pain for a week or longer each episode. Nothing short of vicadin for pain and soma for a muscle relaxer would touch it. Tried chiro, prednisone, exercise, but nothing ever changed. Anatabloc has basically cured the condition.
All I know is I haven’t had an ‘episode’ ever since taking it. Oh I sometimes feel a little twinge when I step off a curb wrong or feel something move in around my lower back if I overdo physical exertion but no more episodes. I wake up each day after working hard in the yard or playing hard like the day before never happened.
Just thought to let you know my firsthand account.
Now another reason I’m taking the time to post is because just yesterday I received my annual blood test results which included a C-Reactive Protein measurement. I made a special request for from mu doctor because apparently the insurance co won’t reimburse you unless there are risk factors involved or you complain of chest pains. So I had to pay a little extra. My CRP measured 0.19mg/dL. Folks that is all the proof this 55yr male needs to know Anatabloc works!

Good question Jean ——-
Some benefits were immediate such as:
Elimination of allergy symptoms.
Elimination of pain in my ankles from swollen ankles.
Sleep improved quickly.
Swelling in my lymph glands disappeared quickly.
My alertness and general feeling of well being was quick.
Overtime improvements, weeks & months were:
A week or so for arthritis improvement in fingers of both hands.
Months for certain large moles to disappear.
Months for finger nails, toe nails, gums & tightness of teeth to improve.
The following areas all have shown improvement but time frame for me is not determinable:
Improved cholesterol readings.
Very low C -Reactive Protein readings = < .1 mg/dl
Blood pressure improved.
Cuts, bruises and scraps heal faster.
Trips to bathroom at night reduced.
The above is my personal experience and may not be the same for everyone that uses Anatabloc. I started on Anatabine when Star came out with CigRx. Then when Anatabloc became available, I switched to Anatabloc. So, I've been using Anatabine vis CigRx or Anatabloc for over two years. I weigh 200 lbs., am 70 yrs. old and take two tablets, non-flavored, ( swallow ) five times per day.
Full disclosure: After realizing the benefits of Anatabloc to my health, I bought stock in Star. So I am a stockholder with no other connections to Star.
Hope the above helps. GLTA

Spinal Stenosis Update: Since hip replacement 2+ yrs ago I was thrown into a nasty spinal stenosis. I’ve done so much over the last 2 yrs to get relief….16 sessions of accupuncture helped somewhat….But, this Anatabloc is doing wonders in that area….no burning and I can sit for hours now, prior to Abloc….no way…burning and pain and could hardly sit…
Today, I also realized I don’t ice like I used to, I’d be on my ice pack by 10AM or earlier…now maybe it’s noon or later….
It’s more than amazing for me…not even 2 months yet.

I am glad to hear you are experiencing pain relief. There is no substitute for pain-free living.
My doctor says I have “spinal arthritis” and that my facets are rubbing together when I am active. This causes inflammation and lots of pain. Anatabloc really helped my back pain too – I am not taking ibuprofen any longer and I am active again – playing basketball with my child, etc.

A year and a half ago I developed a chronic inflammation of my upper lip. After seeing a specialist and receiving a biopsy I was diagnosed with Cheilitis Granulamatosa a rare autoimmune disorder where it disfigures a person’s lip. It is a traumatic experience because everyone notices your face! There is no known cure of Cheilitis Granulamatosa only a handful of treatments. The treatment I received was a very painful injection of triamcinolone every few weeks. My next course of treatment was to start on a powerful antibiotic called Dapsone. Dapsone is scary stuff! I had to receive extensive blood work to see if my body is able to withstand this drug… One month before I was to begin the Dapsone treatment I read about Anatabloc. So I order a bottle, and within 2 days the swelling in my lip started to decrease. II have been on Anatabloc required dosage for three months now and my lip has returned to normal. Words cannot describe my respect for this product. I haven’t had any injections in over three months and no scary Dapsone.
Maurice February 26, 2013 at 9:04 pm
Vince I feel so good now that i hate to try and go off Anatabloc. But what I can tell is, that I would get an injection, then for a few weeks it would reduce the swelling, then the swelling would start again and my lip would become enlarged. I then would have to repeat the process. My lip would also be quite warm, and now its seams cooler, when I am taking the Anatabloc.

Joe & Joy, I didn’t think so at first but, by far, this is the fairest site I’ve been to. Many of the others tend to be monitored by old members resigned to their diseases that don’t want discussions of new products. If you contribute much information you get labeled and dismissed as a “salesman” or “advertisers”. Some folks get hostile. Myself, I can’t understand why they have a thread about Anatabloc or anatabine if all they want is negative or worse. I think it is human nature to wish others to “live long and prosper”, ….. to reach out and share if you find something that could benefit others.
It is valid to comment about, even question, the lack of scientific data, but an awareness of the time and expense to get the data needs to be understood. Few supplement companies can pull that off and granted some don’t want the public to know facts. It is my opinion that this company stands out from the norm in their eagerness to do the research. Ideally it would be great to have all the data ahead of time but in the real world stuff happens as it happens.
Late 2010 or early 2011, I stumbled across stories about anatabine and a new product called CiGRX (next generation, Anatabloc). I focused in on people who had tried it and their comments about surprise results. In short order, so many astonishing accidental new side benefits were reported. Fascinated, I started keeping a list of Internet testimonies (and eventually getting emails). That list is unbelievable because it currently includes 197 items. I slowed down but I still add to it when I trip over a new one. I think I have 9 new ones for 2013. I got a new one from this site. I don’t have my own web site but I’m a Geek, too.
Carol Albright February 27, 2013 at 12:16 am
I had ankle surgery with local anesthesia of the sciatic nerve, injected just above the knee. The anesthetic, I now know, was not properly selected for my condition. Six weeks post surgery my foot and ankle were paralyzed and lacked sensation. Electromyelogram (EMG)study of the sciatic nerve showed that parts of it transmitted no signals. I was told I would have “foot-drop” permanently and was fitted with a brace.
However, I had also noted that a line of painful inflammation followed the entire course of the injured sciatic nerve. I had read of Anatabloc, and I thought that if I could stop the inflammation, the nerve might have a chance to heal. And I was correct.
With six tablets a day, healing was gradual–but after a year and a half of this regimen, I now walk normally. It was a great day when I gave that brace to charity! None of my docs has seen a recovery of this nature before, and I get my care at a major medical center.

Mar,
IBS irritable bowel syndrome
crohns disease
Ulcerative Colitis
All have had anecdotal stories shared by Anatabloc users around the net. Mostly positive yet some that claim no relief to symptoms.
Allan March 1, 2013 at 9:17 pm
To my knowledge, no Anatabloc science has been developed re: IBS to date.
However, I believe that there are testimonies on the Anatabloc Facebook page from individuals with IBS, Crohns, etc. that have experienced significant relief. You might want to review those comments.
Also, A young lady with Crohns disease has a blog @ http://www.urbandomesticdiva.com/p/the-anatabloc-logs.html
that you could review and follow and see how she is doing using Anatabloc.
And Joe knows that I am a strong believer in Anatabloc for what it is doing for me, but me personally, if I had IBS or Crohns disease, I sure would give Anatabloc a good long try.
Good luck.

Joe,
My wife and I have taken Anatabloc for a year and a half. Results for me are the elimination of pain from an old joint injury, disappearance of mild peripheral neuropathy, and noticeable improvement in a subjective sense of general well-being. My wife has had a significant improvement in a chronic thyroid problem and a corresponding reduction in prescription medication dosage by her doctor, greatly reducing the side-effects from the prescription medication.
In the 2 months since you wrote your review there has been new publication of human clinical trials.
Will you be updating your review?
Thanks for your efforts, Ubu.

Great overview Joe, wish I had found this blog earlier as I would have saved a ton of time doing the same research as you have so thoroughly reported on.
No doubt, there is much to be learned, but given my issues, I ordered product after verifying much of what you reported, and given the fact I have an open mind to trying natural alternatives to drugs for years, I placed my first order four months ago.
What I have experienced is the following. With my first issue being the usual aches and pains of getting older, 64 in my case, I found I was feeling more and more pain after long walks or physical activity from exercising, and in particular, being on my feet all day at conferences I attend, my ankles would be swollen for days after such events I attend.
Well, after three months of use, and my last conference where I had to stand for eight plus hours, no more swollen ankles or the same pain from standing in my lower back. Is this scientific, no, just a personal overview which to me was conclusive since I had not changed anything else I was doing. I am against any drugs, and stay away from even aspirin, so I am convinced there is more to Anatabloc than the mice studies to date.
Having pushed my physical activity to new higher levels, I have seen far less pain and shorter recovery time, and having had a bum knee since a motorcycle accident as a teen, I know pain and my limits, but amazingly, I have not been hindered by this knee even after recent move where I was lifting heavy objects I would always regret even when I last moved a dozen years ago.
Are these improvements due to Anatabloc, I don’t know for sure, but suspect it has improved my condition, so I will stay on it and see just how things go. Arthritis is a real threat for everyone who has had an active lifestyle as they age, and I am certain my aches and pains were increasing over the past five years, and if I can stop it, I am willing to try anything which is a safe alternative over drugs and pain relievers which I won’t consider.
Now here is where it gets interesting. I have been overweight for years and having tried every known weight loss product and diet on the market, nothing worked for me. I have always had problems, when I was skinny as a kid, no matter how much I ate, I would not gain weight, then as I got older and did gain weight, I couldn’t lose it no matter how much I tried or worked out. Strange, and given thyroid disease runs in family, I suspect I have a thyroid disorder impacting my metabolism, but never went to doctor to have my thyroid checked., I just resigned myself I was 30 lbs. overweight and figured I could live with it.
Long story short, not until I read your review that there were some claims of weight loss, so I may have discovered why I have lost 16 lbs. over the last three months while doing nothing different other than Anatabloc. Could this be the reason for weight loss? I had not been on a scale for years, but having seen my pants constantly falling down, I was curious. Sure enough, I have been dropping a couple pounds a week and did not associate it with Anatabloc until today reading your review.
As a side note, I was sent the new skincare product gratis as a thank you for being a customer for three months, and this new product is $299.00 retail. This blew me away having never received anything for free before from any company. In addition, this past months supply was increased to 300 tablets up from the 200 at no increase in cost??? What company gives you more product for free in the world of economic collapses? Now for the real kicker. I was going to be traveling for next couple months and called customer service to suspend my autoship. I had a pleasant experience and was offered an option to stop two months auto delivery and was given a $10.00 discount to continue when I return, which obviously I wanted to do anyway when I returned, so given this experience, I am impressed more than ever.
Thanks, Mike

Received my 2nd bottle A-Bloc this time unflavored. This version stopped my gas issue from the sucralose in the minted variety. So after 45 days I have had no major sciatica back pain as I was having for the previous 4 months. I do have what I will call a dull ghost feeling sometimes just to remind me of the harsh stabbing pain I used to get before I started using the Anatabloc. I
am running around and going up and down the stairs like I used to without any pain. I still take 2 Ibuprofen once in a while. That’s down from taking 6. I am 59 yrs old weigh 240 lbs. I am 6 ft tall and I am taking 2 Anatabloc 3 times a day. About every 6 – 8 hrs. Sometimes I take them with a lifesaver candy or mint to let them dissolve. This is my follow up from a previous post. I am very pleased with this product. I have noticed 1 or 2 other personal body functions that seem to be improving but I will report on that later if there is continued progress in those departments. PS. I do not invest in anything except myself.

A friend of mine, a medical doctor, introduced me to Anatabloc. I am an active 64 year old male prone to over-exercise. I workout on a 3 days-on,1 day-off protocol of high intensity interval training. This is an intense training regimen that I have adapted from CrossFit (www.crossfit.com see my website @ http://www.thesamsonoption.com).
I am a physical education teacher and coach in a California high school. I have been taking Anatabloc for 7 weeks as part of a study my friend and selected patients of his are participating in. I was hoping for our American concept of success, instant results, but was disappointed. I noticed no significant changes in DMS or in workout longevity in my first or second week.
At 2 1/2 – 3 weeks I began to notice that something was different but couldn’t put my finger on what. By the middle of week 3 I had a marked improvement in recovery and willingness to follow my training protocol without having to talk myself into day-3.
Prior to taking Anatabloc I was not recovering like had over the last 2 years. I chalked it up to age and contemplated changing my workouts as well as the sequence of days. I noticed that each birthday came with a new physical surprise. I found myself constantly sore or felt like I had over-trained and was not recovering.
At 7 weeks I find that joint pain, particularly knees and shoulders, albeit not severe but constant, has significantly diminished, workout recovery and stamina are markedly increased, muscle soreness is akin to my 50's, and my back, fused through the lumbar region, is becoming less painful and slightly more flexible.
Please feel free to contact me at my email for updates. I am due for blood work ups as per the study requirement.

My comment relates to your observation of no proof shown that Anatabloc is anything other than a bandaid. I have visible evidence. I have several autoimmune issues – type 1 diabetes, celiac disease, arthritic joint pain and Psoriasis. Other than insulin I take no other medicines. I used to take an Advil everyone morning for relief of the joint pain. I am a creature of habit and do not deviate from my routine. I eat and exercise no differently today than 10 years ago. I had damaged my knuckle with a hammer 5 years ago and prior to starting anatabloc the knuckle remained red, swollen and warm to the touch. My orthopedic Dr. was unable to treat and stated that I would need to live with the arthritic condition. The advil was the bandaid allowing me to get through the day. Since taking Anatabloc, the knuckle has returned to normal. All of my arthritic issues gone. Celiac issues have greatly improved after 30 years. Psoriasis greatly improved and dandruff condition is gone. The only difference in my routine is anatabloc and I no longer need the advil bandaid. This product is the real deal for me. I have been on for 12 months and indeed feel 10 years younger.

Since my first report (earlier in this stream) where I was concerned that “one dosage fits all” did not make sense, I was pleased when Star offered a revision on dosage based on weight (which makes all the sense in the world). Before someone quipps that “they just want to sell more.” I’m happy to report that my monthly supply was increased by 50% with no increase in cost.
My personal results from 10 pills a day has been terrific. I did note that it seems to work best for me when I am also able to reduce my weight a bit (cut down on fried foods!) which is probably a good thing anyway. My weight, which was always an issue for me since the diabetes went from 222 to 192. To be fair this did not happen purely as a result of Anatabloc, but prior to its use I could not ever lose more than 5 pounds.
My 10 year chronic sinus issues have totally ceased.
I had reported that slight numbness in the feet that was progressing with my Type 2 diabetes was improving. I can now say it is almost totally gone and sensitivity is back to normal. That indicates a better blood circulation in the lower part of the body which was originally caused by inflammation.
I have just retired at 66 and look forward to being able to return to the physical activities I have been limited in recent years.
From what I can tell, Anatabloc was an accidental discovery. I am very pleased that Star has moved away from their previous business, as noble as it was, to find less toxic tobacco products. Health supplements have a hard time living in the same world with tobacco. I think if they are not bulldosed by big pharma self interests, we will continue to be surprised by how effective their anti-flamatory products are.

I just purchased anatabloc two days ago at a local gnc. I am an avid runner and compete in marathons regularly. I have had a major problem with Achilles tendinitis since college(1989). I have been averaging 70-100 miles a week getting ready for the Cleveland marathon in may. I re-aggravated the tendon in my right leg and had been limping as i walked and was in more pain than normal as I ran. My tendon was swelled up twice the size as my other leg.
I took six pills spaced out the first day and that night I ran 16 miles including 20/400m intervals at 10 mph. The following morning (6 hrs later) I ran 15 miles as a recovery run. I had little pain at all and actually feel better than I did before running a combined 31 miles! Look I know scientific evidence is a must but I am living proof! I am a believer!

I just bought a bottle of Anatabloc. Have sciatic nerve pain which was intense. I’m an aerobics instructor & personal trainer & am 80 years of age. Within two days of taking 2 tablets 3 times daily I feel relief. Hard to believe, but it’s true.
Gail L March 28, 2013 at 10:07 pm
John, We no longer use the term “believers”, my husband and I are living examples of 2 years today on anatabine, taking Anatabloc since Oct 2011.
Your theory about weight loss and thyroid impact is very interesting. I have lost weight without trying and my husband has lost over 60 lbs, walks upright without lower back pain and kicked an nasty oxy-condone dependence. His thyroid numbers are now perfect and CRP number from 5 to less than 0.5.
I had botched lower back surgery and the chronic pain is about 20% of what it was. Arthritis pain in my hands ….good again for needlepoint and tatting. I make an aloe concoction with crushed Anatabloc for a rash on my legs.

I appreciate this discussion; very interesting. We just discovered Anatabloc and all I can tell you that my son had a dislocated shoulder taking Kung Fu classes and because he is going to school to be a Court Reporter, had to miss 3 months of school. His Dr said it probably has scare tissue and had become arthritic because the pain just wouldn’t go away. He has now started back to school but has been living on Ibuprofen on school days so he can type. We tried Anatabloc on Wednesday.
He took 2 tablets in the morning and said he was able to type all morning pain free! He started to have some pain by mid day, took 2 more tablets and said he got through class with no issues and in fact passed his recording test to a new speed level without pain. He said it is really the first time this has happened since he shoulder was dislocated and very much wants to keep trying it.
My husband bought it from GNC to play golf with. He is a physical therapist (58 years old) and has trouble getting through 18 holes without pain in his back even though he carefully stretches out and does yoga. He took two Anatabloc before he left to go play golf, 2 more mid-way through and 2 more as he finished the 18th. He said it was extremely effective.
Normally he has had to take up to 6 Ibuprofen to get through his game these days, but really got more relief from Anatabloc he said than he ever gets from the Ibuprofen. He is happy because all he wants is to be able to play a full 18 holes of golf without pain.

I emailed you a few months ago and asked about Juvenon. I had mentioned I would fill you in on my Anatabloc experience, as I was going to start taking it. Well, it’s been two months since I have been taking it, and I am impressed.
My right knee is bone-on-bone and my left knee has a torn meniscus and arthritis. About 1 1/2 years ago, I had a cyst behind my left knee, which caused me to favor it. All the favoring started the other problems to act up, and I have spent the entire time having trouble walking, being in a lot of pain, and experiencing substantial stiffness. Cortisone shots did nothing. About 2 weeks after taking Anatabloc, about 80%-90% (depending on the day)of my pain and stiffness disappeared! It is now up to between 90%-100% gone.
My shoulder has an old injury which started hurting again. Some days, I could barely move it. The pain is now completely gone.
I was diagnosed with diabetes in September. While I cannot say for certain that the Anatabloc has lowered my blood sugar levels, the levels did drop quite a bit after I started taking it. I have made other changes, but a drop in my A1c from 9.4 (fairly diabetic) to 6.0 (pre-diabetic) in 6 months, is pretty damn good.
At first I figured it wouldn’t be a big deal to buy one bottle at GNC. I got their Gold Card, which knocks 20% off the price. If it worked, great. If not, I wasn’t signed up to anything. Needless to say, I will continue buying this stuff. I even recommended it to my mom, who has arthritis and rosacea. I’ll let you folks know what her experience is once she starts taking it.
I realize it probably doesn’t work for everyone, but it’s working wonders for me. Well worth the $80/month (though I would not complain if they lowered the price).

Jill,
My wife has been dealing with hypothyroidism since 1998. She has been on Levoxyl since then. After starting on Anatabloc in January 2012, her endocrinologist called in July 2012 and said to get onto a weaker dosage (from .88mg down to .75mg) of Levoxyl because the tests showed that her thyroid seemed to be producing more. We are waiting for her next test to see if the trend continues. We wish she could have started on Anatabloc 13 years ago.
By the way, the company now sells an unflavored Anatabloc lozenge that you can swallow with water instead of dissolving in your mouth. Good luck to you in your quest for good heath.

I enjoy reading the discussion here, both the reports from people who have benefited from Abloc and the insistence on evidence from human studies. Of course, with all drugs, research starts with animal studies and then progresses to human studies; the latter take time to organize and report; patience is always required.
I began following these conversations because Anatabloc made a dramatic change in my health, as I reported here on February 27.
I have begun to wonder whether there might be nefarious reasons for some of the worst attacks on Abloc. It has occurred to me that the anti-inflammatory market is a very, very big one; For example, I have read that Humira, for rheumatoid arthritis, is the most lucrative medication in the world. Not casing aspersions on that company or any other; it’s just that sometimes, you need to follow the money. Abloc could perhaps hurt some other people’s business big time.
There have been accusations that the lead doctor for research has no connection with Johns Hopkins, when indeed he does. Big headlines about a $15,000 gift of food for a governor’s daughter’s wedding reception–haven’t ever seen gifts THAT big in this election cycle, right?
A lot of short-selling of the stock and possible manipulation of its price. Now, a list of law firms are trying to get plaintiffs for class action suits because the stock price fell. One firm got a lead plaintiff by working with a man who bought the stock in January, held it for one week, and sold it. Many minds are apparently looking for any kind of flaw in management or reporting. Why do so many people care?
Considering how much that medication helped me, it would make me very sad to see it driven off the market.

You guys want exact I’ll give u exact! First off when I was working out I noticed my joints felt great within 2-3 weeks! I was less sore from all my cardio kick boxing classes! From going 3 times a week doing 1hr classes I was going 4 times a week and working out an hour before clad would start! I had 10 friends also try anatabloc fall 2011 and 8 out of ten resorted less soreness from gym workouts just 1 week on anatabloc! Those result were from 6 a day!
Now as far as the psoriasis I never knew when I started taking abloc that it would help me with either my psoriasis or anxiety! But I can tell you from other peoples experiences results happen fast!
My crp was 1.5. today it’s .5 I take 12-15 anatabloc a day! My body has never had more energy it’s like being a college kid all over again! My feet used to peel on there souls now my feet are smooth as silk! My allergies bother me only twice a year and I get sick twice a year as well! I feel super human because I’m hardly stressed! My friends sees by anatabloc as well! Reporting less aches and pains!
I even had a friends father saying that abloc has helped him with gout! I can go on for hours…. But I’ll wait for the science to come out to make me look like a genius because being on this from October 2011 is way ahead of the curve compared to people who have been on it weeks or maybe months! Do your homework people cause its the real deal!

Hi,
I am a 51 year old male, MS diagnosed 1.5 years ago, also immune thrombocytopenia (low platelet count). My main MS symptoms are spacisity in legs and numbness and tingling in hands and legs.I have been taking Anatabloc for 3 weeks. This is what I have noticed so far:
On the fifth day I noticed that my benign prostatic hyperplasia had improved I started urinating much better without all of stopping and starting, also normal for the last couple of years was to get up 3 or 4 times a night to urinate. Now I normally need to get up only once a night, resulting in better sleep.
On day 13 I noticed my urine stream had improved, in my mind about tripled and the frequency of urinatio went from around 13 to 14 times a day down to 8. I ordered my second bottle of Anatbloc.
I seem to be in a better mood and have more patience with my teenage kids.
For several years I have had a stiff, popping neck, especially in the winter time. I have noticed this is much better the last few days.
Unfortunately I have not had any improvement in the stiffness in my legs and sore knees or tingling in hands and legs.
A few other observations are that my knees and elbows pop a lot more than normal, not sure if this is good or bad. My sinuses are much better than normal. I awake with no difficulty breathing from my nose and a clear chest.
Blood test yesterday, my platelet count held steady even though my cortisone dose had been cut in half, so in this case I do not know if Anatbloc had helped.
All in all I am happy with Anatabloc with the urination and sinus issues, but sure wish it would give some relief to my hands and legs. It is worth the $3 per day just with these improvements.

I’ve have always been very skeptical about ANY kind of supplement. I read about Anatabloc on a rosacea forum. Having tried everything to control my rosacea, I decided to spend the money and buy a bottle of Anatabloc at a local GNC. After about 5 days of taking 6 Anatabloc tabs a day, my burning, red face started to subside. About three weeks later, I noticed that my hip bursitis was MUCH better. So much so that I was able to cut back on prescription medication that I had been taking.
I wanted to make sure that the improvements we not a placebo effect, so I stopped taking Anatabloc after my initial 30 day supply ran out. Within a few days my face starting burning again and my hip pain returned. I’ve done this placebo experiment twice now with the same results.
There have been times when I have a bout of facial burning (cold wind, hot showers really set it off). I’ll take two anatabloc tablets and within 20 minutes, the burning stops. There’s not doubt in my mind that anatabloc does work. I just wish it wasn’t so darned expensive, but since it’s the only thing I have found to control these two problems I have, it’s money well spent.

1st let me say that I have had sciatica for the last 3 months that has been getting worse. This is the first time in my life that I have had any long term pain. I am 59 and in good health except my lower back pain. I was taking 2 or 3 Ibuprofins 2-3 times a day. I went and had a chiropractic adjustment but that had little relief.
I went on a cruise and hobbled around the ship using the jacuzzi and had a few massage treatments. Again the pain persisted down my buttocks, hamstring and calf muscles. When I returned home I tried the Anatabloc taking 2 pills 3 times a day and found that the lower leg and hamstring pain eased to the point that I was walking normally.
The buttocks pain is now down to a dullness. I now only took Ibuprofin once a day. I took myself off of the Anatabloc to see if it was the product or what. The pain in the butt returned and started to radiate down from the sciatica nerve again. I went back to taking the Anatabloc and started feeling better again.
The one side effect that I have is that the MINTED version gives me gas due to the sweetener they use. I will be buying a bottle of the NON MINT variety as soon as I use up the old ones. I will report again later as this web site has helped me gain a lot of insight.

I suffered from debilitating low back pain for years and since 6/day Anatabloc it has completely gone away. It did take a few months though for whatever issue that caused it to heal.
While doing my own investigating on anatabine and NFKB (nuclear factor kappa Beta) signaling I landed on a psoriasis aid web page with pics of people with psoriasis. Wow, it’s an ugly skin condition and I had known my 25yr old daughter suffered from it but did not fully appreciate the seriousness of it nor had I actually seen her skin lesions before. Her mom and her had been fighting the condition for 10+ years with prescription drugs, OTC treatments, etc.
Nothing actually made it go away and stay away. But the very day I saw those pictures I got her over to the house, took pictures of her lesions and gave her a months supply of Anatabloc. Medical research into psoriasis focuses on suppressing NFKB activation with some really powerful (harmful to the immune system) anti-inflammatories. So I thought Anatabloc might help. That was May ’12. It took a good 2-3 months before she began to notice a difference (skin cells take ~28 days to form, grow, and surface). Today she is free from psoriasis for the first time since she was 14. Wow, just wow.

After hearing an ad on the radio, reading your research and all the comments, I felt I had to give Anatabloc a try. The muscles in my right arm have been aching for months now. All the heat therapy products did not help. I took my first dose last Friday after dinner and felt relief almost immediately. I’ve taken the suggested dosage (2 pills 3xper day and I take them after eating) every day and I’ve been pain free. I hope the cost goes down at some point but I feel it has been worth it.

Hi Joe,
I am generally a skeptic when supplements are touted as being better than big pharma drugs. However…when you have tried everything your Dr. offers without success…
I have been taking Anatabloc for about 9 months, having started with the 10 day trial. I can only respond to my personal experiences. I was told that if it did not work for me after the first month, I could get a refund. I never tested that statement.
I have type II diabetes (for the past 15 years or so) and have moved from diet control to pills and on to insulin in the past 4 years. My blood sugar levels and A1c count had stabilized and are pretty well controlled. But, I had begun experiencing the typical issues in diabetes progression of weight gain with the insulin use (unable to drop the weight after real efforts). I had been developing some issues with circulation in my legs and minor issues with very slight numbness in the toes, although I have been a very active exerciser (health club workouts 2-3 times per week). Despite almost every drug available I was also suffering from some ED issues and swelling in the hands. I was told this was normal with diabetes, but I did not surrender as inevitable. It seemed that all of the issues I was experiencing tied directly to blood flow and possibly inflammation.
I looked into the issues of inflammation, reading everything I could get my hands on. I was reluctant to add any number of big pharma drugs to my daily intake, particularly wary of the side effects identified of most. I heard of Anatabloc on radio ads and decided to try it after reading as much as I could find on the topic. I called for the 10 day trial.
Almost immediately, I felt (and saw) a reduction in the swelling of my hands. I could easily remove rings, particularly on my right hand easily and to lesser degree on my left that have been impossible for years. I noticed a reduction in occasional heart pain pressure after a particularly strenuous workout. I had this checked out about a year or so ago and they found no heart issues.
Then, after several months, the good stuff began. I noticed the moderate pain in hands was gone entirely. The swelling is reduced in my feet and the mild numbness has really almost disappeared. I expect this to totally reverse over time. Then, I was able to lose nearly 30 pounds over a 4 month period…my Dr. just shook his head in disbelief. I used a strictly enforced diet (that I had been on and had never worked before!). I have kept the weight off for over 7 months now and want to lose another 10. I noticed that with the decline in weight (from 222 to 195) that i am using about 1/2 of the insulin than before. I must test more often and adjust the insulin accordingly. I do spike if I stray too far from the diet. And, much to my surprise, the ED issues have largely disappeared. Oh, I almost forgot. For the past 6 years I have suffered from severe sinus infections every January-February that always morphed into bronchitis. This year I am 1/3 into Feb. with no signs of this recurring issue. That alone would be a miracle for me.
I was initially concerned with the cost, but after my positive experiences, I ordered another bottle each month for my wife as well. She has been on it for 3 months. We will see if she experiences any of the same positives.
I am anxious to see the results of clinical trials on humans as well. While one can hope inflammation reduction will impact all kinds of issues, I am realistic that some of the claims might just be “hopes” and too good to be true. If I am not atypical I would expect many people to experience positive results as well. Just don’t expect miracles the first 10 days!
My one concern is a “normal” dosage of 6 pills per day may not be suitable for everyone and every condition. I would welcome some studies that deal with more common issues and a variety of dosage. Right now cost can affect some personal experiments on this. However, the one month supply comes with 100 so you can try a few variables. My Dr., a diabetes specialist, has indicated he sees nothing in the product that could be harmful, but is more traditional in his practice. However, he still scratches his head at my experienced results. His nurse is a bit more inclined to venture into the natural remedies and is looking into this more from a professional point of view.
I will absolutely continue to take this supplement. Is the cost high? Yes, but the results for me have been priceless.

Here’s my experience with Anatabloc:
I’m 64, 5’10? and ~165lbs. I originally started taking it for secondary hypothyroidism. I read some speculation at that time, Oct., 2011, that is might be useful for hypothyroidism and I certainly didn’t want to be on one or more hormones for the rest of my life.
I was extremely tired and cold all of the time but within a month I noticed a very positive difference. As a “side effect”, the rheumatoid arthritis im my hands no longer hurts. Since I started taking Anatabloc, 6 tablets/day, I have not had one day where my knuckles were red, inflamed and painful. The one joint that is already misshapen and pretty much useless is still that way but it no longer hurts. Also, my wife also takes it and no longer has fibromyalgia.
So much for the qualitative observations. Being an engineer, I look for quantitative data. My TSH level measured in a blood test on Sept 23th, 2011 was 0.3uIU/mL. A blood test on Jan. 31st, 2012 measured my TSH level at 2.8uIU/mL. This was an increase by a factor of more than 9 and put it right in the middle of the normal range.
Another “side effect” helped push my PSA score in the right direction. Since I started having annual blood tests in 2005, my PSA score has increased a bit every year and went from 0.45 ng/mL to 1.3ng/mL in 2011. In the Jan. 2012 blood test, my PSA score was 0.6 ng/mL. I’m a happy camper.
To be fair, there are several things that Anatabloc has not help. First, lower back pain. My one leg is ~1/2? shorter than the other so decades of walking around like that has probably created a bulging disc. What did help with this was placing a couple of Dr. Scholl’s heel pads in my right shoe.
Second, I have some pain from a torn ACL that occurred ~50 years ago. No difference here.
This is just my $0.02.

Hi Joe, I appreciated reading your objective article and all the comments. I’m 55 and have suffered from mild intermittent osteo arthritis in my wrists for years, lower back and knee pain, as well as seborrheic dermatitis (flaking of skin behind my ears, sides of nose, and scalp). I am also a professional ski instructor.
Before skiing, my day would include a few Aleve; however, I have been taking Anatabloc for the last four months and can tell you, I don’t feel the need to take any pain meds. Furthermore, the flaking of my skin has disappeared completely and for the first time in my adult life I no longer have to use dandruff shampoo.
In general, I have a better sense of well-being and truly believe it is as a result of Anatabloc because nothing has worked so systemically before. I hope they come out with a single daily time release version. All the best.

I’m a 50 year old male and have been using a low dose of Anatabloc since April (2012). It has helped reduce my eczema issues considerably but it hasn’t cured anything. I still like it though and have recently increased to the recommended dose (6mg/day) to see if it makes any difference. I’ve noticed no negative side effects, but have noticed an absence of swelling in my hands and feet at the end of the day.
Also noticed that I recover faster from aches and pain associated with activities like gardening etc. Also noticed that my finger joint pain (I have not been diagnosed with arthritis) is much less. I had my blood tested before taking Anatabloc and plan to see if there is any effect on the measurements at my next annual checkup.
I personally believe there is something to this supplement. Perhaps it is the one good thing that tobacco provides its user (I’m a non-smoker and have never smoked). If it wasn’t so expensive, I’d highly recommend it as a supplement.

I am a member of a support group for families with children with certain disorders, many neurological and digestive, that cause behavioral disruption. Quite a few people who have been on that list for years have recently posted about significant success with Anatabloc, even when many other treatments have failed. It seems that by calming inflammation real healing is allowed to take place. I would happily try it if it weren’t so expensive.
jeff November 1, 2012 at 2:05 pm
I’ve been using anatabloc for a few months now because i have operations on my knees, bicep tendon, and ripped both calf muscles. Anatabloc makes my body feel much better. I am working on going down to have my blood tested too to see if there is any difference in my numbers.
Paul November 16, 2012 at 10:27 pm
I started taking it 3 months ago. I have not been without pain from back and joint issues for nearly 10 years. (Degenerative disc disease and arthritis) Steroids will help for a couple of weeks. Strong pain killers for a day or two. Maybe it’s all in my head, but I have not been without severe pain for this long in years.
For the month before I began I could barely bend over to pick up a piece of paper. Moving anything more than 10 lbs was incredibly painful. Now I move 40 lb boxes for 2-3 hours with minimal pain. I realize walking up stairs that I don’t hurt. Maybe it’s a coincidence, maybe psychological … I don’t really care. I will continue to spend $85 a month until the pain returns.
ralph December 5, 2012 at 1:53 pm
I HAVE HAD THREE BACK OPERATIONS.ABOUT 3 OR 4 TIMES A WEEK WHEN I GET OUT OF BED I GET A SHOOTING PAIN FROM MY LOWER BACK DOWN MY LEG . SOMETIMES IT PUTS ME TO THE FLOOR. I HAD BEEN TAKING 150 MG OF ENDOMETHACIN A DAY FOR THREE YEARS, BUT IT JUST WAS NOT WORKING VERY WELL.
THREE AND A HALF MONTHS AGO I STARTED ON ANATABLOC. FIRST ON LOW DOSES THEN THE MAX OF TWO TABLETS THREE TIMES A DAY. THE ATTACKS STOPED ABOUT THREE WEEKS AGO. I ALSO HAVE SOME DISC PROBLEMS IN MY NECK WHICH MADE IT HARD TO LOOK LEFT AND RIGHT.
THAT HAS ALSO IMPROVED BY ABOUT 75%. I HAD A VERY EXTENSIVE PHYSICAL IN JAN OF 2012, WHICH INCLUDED MAJOR BLOOD WORK. WHEN I GO BACK FOR MY 2013 PHYSICAL IT WILL BE INTERESTING TO COMPARE THE RESULTS. I WILL SEND THE RESULTS TO YOU. AS AN ASIDE I ALSO LOST 9# WITH NO CHANGE IN DIET. THANKS FOR YOUR GREAT WORK RALPH
Mike commented on Anatabloc Anti-Inflammation Joint Supplement: Review of Clinical Evidence.
Update:
Well, having just returned from vacation hitting every theme park with full 12 hour plus days, ten days in a row, mostly standing and walking, not a hint of swollen ankles which had plagued me for over a decade. As a skeptic, this was the unconditional proof I needed that I no longer have swollen ankle issues, thank God, it was a real pain for years and I could not even put shoes or boots on once my ankles swelled up for days.
Went to dentist, and got a great review on what was advanced gum disease which they said treatment of $45.00 per tooth would slow periodontal disease, and now, no need to waste hundreds of dollars which more than covers cost of anatabloc for several months. No more swollen and infected gum issues since using anatabloc, so I am more impressed than ever with product results.
We all know inflamation is the enemy of good health, and as one who has tried every product out there, most did not work as promoted. Having seen my blood pressure rise consistently over the past several years, I started taking every supplement known to reduce blood pressure knowing I wouldn’t touch any drugs, and I am glad I discovered anatabloc for it too appears to be answer to high blood pressure for me as well much to my surprise given I didn’t know this would help, so no placebo effect as I see it for this was unexpected result.
Just to clarify, I take zero drugs, not even aspirin or similar pain medicines, and I plan to keep it that way, so for those who always listen to their doctors advice, wake up, you might just save your life. My father died of heart attack when I was just 16, and I remember it like yesterday, so knowing I might have heart issues too, I monitor blood pressure weekly. Having just returned from vacation, I was shocked at todays blood pressure reading, 107/72 whereby I was constantly in 140/90 plus range for months prior to anatabloc. I have never had reading this low since beginning to check regularily. We all know the hugh cost of blood pressure pills, so given all the money I have saved, I don’t see how anyone can complain about $69.00 a month or less depending on consumption.
Good health to all,
Roland/Switzerland July 4, 2013 at 3:52 pm
I am taking Anatabloc for 1 month now. I had a heart attack end of 2011. Since then I had to take various pills because of the cholesterol and stents. The cholesterol blocker ‘Sortis’ caused me serious muscle pain, strange muscular reactions and amnesia. Then I heard from Anatabloc and I tried it.
Result: much lower muscle pain, no more burning in the heart area, feel light and clear in mind, arthrosis in hip seams to getting better, almost no hay fever this year, better metabolism.
I take Anatabloc on my own risk, because I don’t trust the physicians, who accept all the side effects of their chemical drugs but for a ‘natural’ substance like Anatabloc they just have a condescending smile. Anatabloc seams to rejuvenate my body for decades.

Roland ——–
Excellent! Good luck with your health. Thanks for sharing a terrific story.
Among many benefits of Anatabloc for me is the elimination of severe hay fever symptoms year round. What a relief and saves me at least $24/mo. in Claritin tablets that only gave me about 40% relief.
If I could make a suggestion, dig out your blood panel tests report, if you have a copy or get a copy from your Dr., from before your heart attack and before Anatabloc. Then on your next Drs. appt. where you have blood work done, get a C-RP test, thyroid panel, glucose and of course cholesterol and others and compare the recent numbers ( having taken Anatabloc for some time ) to those numbers before Anatabloc.
My bet is that you will be very pleasantly surprised. I know I have been. It is quite unbelievable. I am taking a statin, from way before Anatabloc which I may discontinue, but my total cholesterol has dropped from around 200 on a statin to the 165 range after Anatabloc. Component numbers improved accordingly. Blood pressure has been moderated also.
Good luck again with your health Roland and IMHO, you are one of the lucky ones like me at 70 yrs. old of having found Anatabloc.
Have a great week.

New Anatabloc user here with 5 weeks of use to report findings:
I started using Anatabloc after spending a few weeks searching the internet for user comments and this website has been full of information. About one year ago, I started searching for natural supplements to deal with the joint pain in my hands and discovered Arthriphase followed by Lyprinol. The Arthriphase was quite successful in eliminating the daily pain in my finger joints, but they were still stiff in the morning. Lyprinol was very effective in eliminating both the morning stiffness as well as the daily pain in the joints so I was quite happy to continue using Lyprinol until I discovered Anatabloc so I just had to give it a try.
I’m pleased to report that it has been even more effective than Lyprinol at eliminating morning stiffness and daily pain. The deformation in the affected finger joints appears to be subsiding, but it is still quite visible. However, I’m also pleased that the neck pain that I have been experiencing for 30 years has subsided considerably. And, I had a knot of pain in my mid back that I have been dealing with for the last 6 years that has gone away completely. I have been going through intense sport massage and chiropractic in at attempt to eliminate the knot in my back and these techniques were somewhat successful, but I had resigned myself to dealing with the residual pain in these areas. However, after 5 weeks on Anatabloc, the pain in my mid back is GONE. It’s not just subsided, it is GONE. I also have much more range of movement in my neck than I have had in decades and I have not done any other therapies since starting the Anatabloc ( 5 tabs, twice daily, I’m 170 lbs, 56 yr old male).
I’m a fanatic about flossing my teeth every morning and I always get a little bit of blood when I rinse after flossing. I have never worried about it because my gums are healthy. But, over the past few weeks, there has also been a noticeable decrease in the blood from the rinse water.
I just wanted to report this information on this site because reading all of your stories has given me all the incentive I needed to try using Anatabloc and I’m very glad I did. Thanks to all of you. I’m going to continue using it and hope for even further improvement in my finger joints. The pain and stiffness in the joints is considerably reduced. I would be absolutely ecstatic if the joints actually healed and resumed their normal shape.

Mike, I read your post on my phone and had to get home so I could reply with a real keyboard.
Your experience with Anatabloc is repeated almost daily in various comments throughout the WEB including here at supplement-geek. Thanks Joe.
It just helps to hear someone else’s firsthand account of the improvements in joint pain and a host of other ailments to keep me taking Anatabloc. Your experience validates my own over the top account to my family & friends, many of whom simply don’t believe me. It’s sad too because they could really benefit. The best part is that joint pain relief if only a good side effect of anatabine citrate. The real benefit, impossible to measure at this point, is the potential for life extension. And a healthy old age.
There’s so many supplements & drugs that target inflammation but none do so at the level or stage of the inflammatory process the way Anatabloc does. None. A WEB search of just about any ailment + NFkB and you find medical research shows it is implicated in the disease. Anatabine Citrate in Anatabloc blocks the over expression of NFkB. Amazing stuff.
So many at our age suffering from the ravages of age and the abuse we’ve put our bodies through over the years could get relief if they only knew about it gave it chance with appropriate dose and timing.

Hi Judith,
My thryoid antibodies were 2,720.5, they went up to 3655.6, I started to take anatabloc and they went down to 300. they now are down to 200.
on a different note, my husband was taking prostate medicine for urinary frequency at night, getting up at least 6 times a night. one of the side effects is Erectile dysfunction which he experienced, he has been off of that and only takes the anatabloc.. he now gets up maybe once a night.
My daughter was having panic attacks and was unable to drive, the Dr. prescribed a medicine i can’t remember the name but one side effect was suicidal, she needed follow up every two weeks to make sure she didn’t commit suicide… needless to say we didn’t fill the prescription, she takes anatabloc every day and has not had a panic attack in month.
I am a firm believer in this product.
Lynn July 10, 2013 at 9:27 am
Hi Judith I wasn’t on any thryoid medication! I’ve seen to many people with different issues see results. I am a true believer. My dad died of Alzheimer’s Disease as did his sister, I originally started to take it for prevention since it is hereditary. I will continue to take it for the rest of my life. I never want my children to go through what our family went through with this disease, they thyroid results are just a bonus to me.
Judith Auerbach July 10, 2013 at 9:49 am
Yes, Joe, I have been taking Tirosint for about a year and a half. At first, the antibodies actually went up dramatically but then started to come down slowly. In May, 2012, they were down to 36 and then in November 32, so they were coming down about 4 points every 6 months and then this June, after having started the Anatabloc in April, they measured >1, so that was a large decrease of 32 points after only tiny decreases each 6 months.
I also have had very painful muscle “knots”, especially in the neck, shoulders, hips, to the extent that I had thought for years that I must have fibromyalgia. I’ve been doing a lot of stretching and yoga for years with only a little bit of release, but since taking the Anatabloc, I’ve seen a huge improvement. I almost have it under control and may soon feel “normal”. The muscle pain has been a constant for at least 40 years.
I have run into the same problem and now only rely on the manager of the store. The employees tend to tell you the number sold on their shift only.
That is as good as you could have done online. Great deal. Did you ask how sales are going? Thanks
Thanks for update. What does alcohol do to your psorasis? I wonder if alcohol suppresses the benefits of anatabloc.
What is your increased dosage? I agree that with something as intense as psorasis you have to be on increased dosage to combat.

Agree with your comments about the creme. I have purchased four to date. I have heard it works wonders for teens with acne. If true that is a huge market.
Seems like bikers are just beginning to realize the muscle recovery benefits of Anatabloc. I would have thought that Star would have signed a bike sports figure yesterday.
"During the first year or so that GNC was selling Anatabloc, the inventory was owned by STSI and sent to GNC on consignment. This means that during that period all GNC sales were accounted for by including them in the sales reported by Chipper as sales were only entered as the bottles were sold."
If this is true this would be positive for the second quarter as GNC would have purchased the inventory in the 4,000 (?) stores at say $ 30 a pop.

Another feel good report from GNC
Work in the television industry, my camera crew was out working and one of the guys was complaining about stiffness and back pain. I told him to try anatabloc. The entire crew is now taking it! They are telling family and friends and I'm getting the same feed back now, it works.
The GNC clerks in Monroeville Pa are now taking people to Anatabloc first, btw GNC is headquartered here in Pittsburgh. Many of the clerks were assuming it was too expensive and it had been put mid to lower shelf, while the bottles are kept behind the counter, apparently people are not above stealing it, but now the demand is so strong that they know price isn't a factor. . . .its impact is even more profound on the elderly.
Its kind of a scary thing the economic potential of this anatabine. It's the finest product for health and happiness that I've ever found. Oh and one other bit of info Joseph M. Fortunato is my neighbor. See you at the top longs.

New study underscores NF-kB in aging
A new study by researchers at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine dramatically underscores the potential role of the NF-kB protein in aging. NF-kB is a master protein which controls many inflammatory chemicals throughout the body. Researchers at the Roskamp Institute have studied NF-kB for many years as a potential way of controlling chronic inflammation which accompanies aging and underlies conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease. This new study points to a part of the brain as regulating the aging process. The current view of aging generally suggests that enzymes, DNA, proteins and other constituents of the body essentially “wear out” with age, accumulating damage due to environmental insults until they no longer function properly. This new study suggests something quite different, namely that a part of the brain called the Hypothalamus deliberately induces aging throughout the body. It has been suggested that one reason why the brain might take such drastic action is to inhibit reproduction past a certain age.
This suggestion is highly speculative at this stage, but the data offered by the Albert Einstein researchers suggests that, with age, increased NF-kB activity triggers degeneration in both the brain and other areas of the body. The researchers showed that as mice aged, they increasingly expressed NF-kB in the part of the brain that is normally responsible for the production of reproductive and growth hormones. The researchers artificially manipulated NF-kB activity using genetic techniques and showed that reducing NF-kB activity was associated with better performance in cognitive tests, greater muscle strength and greater bone mass and skin thickness. Conversely, exacerbation of NF-kB activity increased all of these peripheral signs of aging, as well as reducing cognitive abilities. Furthermore the research suggested that microglia (the inflammatory cells resident in the brain) are the originators of the NF-kB activity and this spreads to nearby neurons, including those responsible for growth and reproductive hormones.
These findings are of direct significance to work at the Roskamp Institute as researchers there have shown that increased NF-kB collates strongly with Alzheimer’s pathology and pathology of other central nervous system disorders. Moreover, they have worked extensively on ways to reduce NF-kB activation, particularly using the naturally occurring compound Anatabine.
Roskamp Institute researchers have shown in multiple preclinical studies of neuroinflammation (such as Alzheimer's, traumatic brain injury and Multiple Sclerosis) that Anatabine (supplied by Rock Creek Pharmaceuticals) has potent anti-inflammatory properties. This new finding suggests that NFKB inhibitors might also have a role in decelerating aging. In fact, preliminary studies at the Roskamp Institute suggest that mortality in mice with Alzheimer pathology is reduced by Anatabine treatment. Additional studies are needed to clarify whether Anatabine might reduce the hypothalamic inflammation and increase the release of hormones that oppose aging.

Our Blood Reports: Exciting improvement-Part 1
I had a Blood Report in April, 2012 before I started taking Anatabloc. It was a coincidence that almost Immediately after that Blood Report, I started taking Anatabloc . Recently I had my Physical Checkup done in May, 2013 and my Blood Report shows exciting improvement in the key areas as follows: Total Cholesterol reduced by 20.73%; Cholesterol/HDL ratio reduce by 20.73%; Triglyceride reduced by 60% (almost unbelievable); HDL statiscally no change (quite high being a regular runner); LDL reduced by 23.35%. Fasting Glucose reduced by 20.7% and TSH reduced by 18.6% (was higher than normal range but normal now). Previously I reported that I'm 90% back pain free, 90%sciatica nerve pain free, 85% left knee pain free and 100% right knee pain free. My urine flow is now what I used to have 20/30 years ago. I used to take Milk Thistle supplement for my mild depression, which I stopped taking after I started taking Anatabloc. My flexibility has improved appreciably after taking Anatabloc for about 5/6 months. I recover much faster after my 10/12 miles alternate day runs. I'm almost 73
Our Blood Reports: Exciting improvement-Part 2
Here it gets more exciting: I almost forced my wife to take Anatabloc for her back pain and knee pain. She very reluctantly started taking it (1, 1, and 1 a day) in early March of this year. She is always afraid of taking a new supplement except multivitamin and calcium. She wouldn't even take extra vitamin D, even though she has some deficiency. She claims that she develops some uncomfortable feeling in the stomach. After about two weeks, she complained that she does not feel any improvement. I told her to increase her intake to 2, 2 and 2 a day. But she refused to do so for fear that she may get some allergic reaction ( she is allergy prone) and said that she will continue to take 3 a day and let it take more time to show improvement. She still complains that she does not see any improvement. Exciting part is that her Blood Report shows excellent improvement only after two months of taking Anatabloc: Total Cholesterol reduced by 15.3%; Triglyciride reduced by 24.1%; HDL increased by 3.1%, LDL reduced by 22.4% And Fasting Glucose reduced by 16%. I would say that's a fantastic report. But she is not overexcited like me because she doesn't see any external improvement in back pain and knee pain. Isn't it strange that she almost dismisses the excellent Blood Report because she didn't have any improvement in back pain and knee pain? That's why I always maintain that 100% of everybody will see improvement either externally or internally taking Anatabloc. And in my opinion, internal improvement is far better than external improvement since it's really an anti-aging effect and eliminates any future potential age related diseases.
Thanks for testimonial. Very interesting how you discovered. What do you think it is going to take for athletes to realize the muscle recovery on A-bloc? Could you please post testimonial on Gnc?

Something Dr. Michael Mullan figured out long time ago.
Regarding Lucky Vitamins I purchased a bottle of Anatabloc for $ 49.99 using $ 30 of reward coupons because I had purchased two bottles the proior month. So that works out to $ .16 cents per pop. Daily cost is a fraction of a Starbucks coffee. Expensive???
All one has to do is see who he has surrounded himself with in the company......Board, Officers and Scientists to see the truth. This situation is testing the skills of all involved.
It seems so strange that people who have never tried Anatabloc are telling those that know firsthand the benefits by taking Anatabloc their "expertise." Who cares about the Amazon testimonials !!!!! We know what benefits we are receiving day in and day out.
Just ran a 8 minute mile like it was a walk in the park...time to take another Anatabloc....
The problem with this board is the "experts" have never taken Anatabloc and dictate their expertise on Anatabloc hourly.

World Renown Heart Surgeon Speaks Out On What Really Causes Heart Disease.
http://tinyurl.com/axtab4d
As a heart surgeon with 25 years experience, having performed over 5,000 open-heart surgeries, today is my day to right the wrong with medical and scientific fact. . I have peered inside thousands upon thousands of arteries. A diseased artery looks as if someone took a brush and scrubbed repeatedly against its wall. Several times a day, every day, the foods we eat create small injuries compounding into more injuries, causing the body to respond continuously and appropriately with inflammation.
While you may not be able to see it, rest assured it is there. I saw it in over 5,000 surgical patients spanning 25 years who all shared one common denominator -- inflammation in their arteries.
Despite the fact that 25% of the population takes expensive statin medications and despite the fact we have reduced the fat content of our diets, more Americans will die this year of heart disease than ever before.
Statistics from the American Heart Association show that 75 million Americans currently suffer from heart disease, 20 million have diabetes and 57 million have pre-diabetes. These disorders are affecting younger and younger people in greater numbers every year.
Simply stated, without inflammation being present in the body, there is no way that cholesterol would accumulate in the wall of the blood vessel and cause heart disease and strokes. Without inflammation, cholesterol would move freely throughout the body as nature intended. It is inflammation that causes cholesterol to become trapped.
March 2011 - The Roskamp Institute demonstrated the striking anti-inflammatory effects of anatabine, as evidenced by the reduction of key pro-inflammatory cytokine IL-1beta. Anatabine was shown to over three times more effective than Lipitor at lowering this marker of inflammation. http://www.rfdn.org/inflammaging.html

Dr. Ryan Lanier discusses Inflammation and Cardiovascular Disease and Anatabloc
Posted on November 13, 2012 by evan
What does Heart Disease have to do with Inflammation?
The most common form of heart disease in America is the result of hardening of the arteries, something physicians call atherosclerosis. High cholesterol causes deposits of fat to build up in the arteries, the inside of the blood vessels that carry blood to the heart and the rest of the body.
Arteries do not normally have fat deposits. Those fat deposits act as a source of irritation to the blood vessel, and trigger an inflammatory reaction as the body tries to clean out the source of irritation.
The inflammation acts to roughen and damage the walls of the blood vessels, damaging the smooth lining. The inflammation causes blood platelets, the clotting cells, to stick to the lining of the blood vessel, and can cause either scarring or a clot to form. That clot is just like the ball of hair and grease in your kitchen sink. The clot blocks blood flow, the heart muscle is starved for oxygen, and you get a heart attack.
Can this Inflammation be Prevented?
Physicians try to prevent heart attacks at every stage of the process. Diet, exercise and anti-cholesterol medications act to prevent fat build up, anti-clotting drugs like aspirin and Plavix act to prevent clotting, and the arteries can be cleaned out by putting a stent in them, or bypassed with surgery.
Physicians and patients are trying aspirin, plant and fish oils to try to slow down the excess inflammation that turns a stable fat deposit into a rough inflamed surface. This works, but not as well as we like. Some researchers are looking at various chemical markers of inflammation, like a protein called C-reactive protein (or CRP), to try to tell if there is inflammation in the arteries.
CRP and interleukins are chemicals released by, and involved in the inflammation process. Several major research studies have shown that individuals with high levels of CRP are at increased risk of heart attacks.
Laboratory work in animals has shown that anatabine, the main active ingredient in Anatabloc at GNC, a dietary supplement developed to help support healthy levels of inflammation, acts to manage the levels of CRP and other inflammatory mediators. Rock Creek Pharmaceuticals is the sponsor of a study being conducted by the Roskamp Institute examining the effect of nutritional supplementation with Anatabloc in maintaining healthy levels of CRP and other inflammatory mediators.
Nutritional supplements and a healthy diet have been shown to play a role in moderating factors that increase the risk of heart attack. Controlling blood pressure, sound diet, avoiding bad fats, controlling your weight, stopping smoking and treating diabetes have all proven to be very important and very effective ways to improve your life and help reduce risks factors associated with heart disease.
Heart disease is a big problem, especially now for women. For that reason any assistance we can provide individuals in managing excessive inflammation may be helpful, not only in promoting a healthier metabolism, but also in managing one of the factors that is known to contribute to heart disease
A recent testimony by a skeptical doctor drives the above point home---when you get rid of inflammation you drive your cholestrol down--he is 58 and I asked the liver enzyme question:
My Metabolic Panel
I am a physician, and very skeptical of all the anecdotal claims involving nutriceuticals, including Anatabine in Anatabloc.
I've reported earlier that I've been underwhelmed with my experiences after a couple months of using it daily.
Still, I've continued my trial--about 6 months now.
After years of having a normal metabolic panel (lipids, fasting glucose) my numbers climbed above normal about 12 months ago. I tried conservative treatment (diet & increased exercise) for 6 months with only modest improvement.
I was ready to start standard pharmacologic therapy.....but I decided to see if 6 months of Anatabine would have any effect (as I believe some others have posted).
I just got back my most recent panel:
Total Cholesterol: down 25%
Triglycerides: down 35%
Fasting Glucose: 84
HDL: no change
Remarkable!! My numbers are now well within the normal range; no need to start any meds.
Yes, I know this is just one more anecdote, but certainly enough to convince me to keep taking this supplement.

Re: My Metabolic Panel
Yes, 6 tablets each day.
I plan on keeping this up for another 6-12 months, at least. I'll get my panel re-checked in a year.
I'll report if I get any of the other physical benefits that many others have experienced after this longer trial.

Forget Cholesterol, Inflammation's the Real Enemy
Keeping up with which foods to eat and which ones to avoid could be a full-time job. That's because scientists continue to learn more about what we put in our bodies.
Some of their latest findings could change your mind about fat.
Twenty years ago, doctors told us to stay away from high-fat foods like eggs, bacon, and butter because they raised cholesterol and could lead to heart disease.
America responded and stopped eating fat. In its place, however, we ate more sugar and other carbohydrates.
How did that work out? Not great. As a whole, Americans grew fatter and sicker than before. Scientists back then may have reached the wrong conclusion.
Now a growing number of medical experts say weight gain, heart disease, and other illnesses are not caused by high cholesterol, but by something different: inflammation.
That means instead of avoiding foods that raise our cholesterol, we need to avoid foods that cause inflammation.
Cholesterol's Bad Rap
Dr. Beverly Teter, a lipid biochemist at the University of Maryland, studies how the different kinds of fat in food affect our health.
Teter said scientists wrongly blamed cholesterol for heart disease when they saw high levels of it at a damaged blood vessel. Teter believes the body put the cholesterol there to fix the problem, which was actually caused by inflammation.
"It's the inflammation in the vessels that start the lesion," she explained. "The body then sends the cholesterol like a scab to cover over it to protect the blood system and the vessel wall from further damage."
Research also shows cholesterol can protect against respiratory and gastrointestinal problems, and helps create vitamin D. People with higher cholesterol live longer.
Teter said that's a scientific fact that she can vouch for personally.
"I come from a family that has, my mother's side, had naturally high cholesterol. Her cholesterol was between 380 and 420 when I started watching her medical records, and she died at 97," she said. "So I don't think that cholesterol was too bad for her."
Inflammation Producers
Cholesterol is especially important in the brain, which contains more cholesterol than any other organ and needs it in order for a message to get passed from one brain cell to another.
Therefore, Teter said when it comes to food choices, don't worry if it raises your cholesterol. Focus your attention instead on whether it reduces inflammation.
When choosing which fats to eat, pick the ones that are high in Omega 3 fats and also choose natural saturated fats. On the other hand, stay away from the fats that lead to inflammation, such as trans fats and Omega 6 fats.
How to you tell the healthy Omega 3s from the unhealthy Omega 6 fats? Vegetable oils and mayonnaise contain Omega 6 fats, so be careful with how much you consume.
Ideally, Omega 6 fats are healthy but only when consumed in the same amount as Omega 3 fats. The typical American, however, consumes 15 times more Omega 6 fats than Omega 3s. This imbalance creates inflammation.
So cut back on the Omega 6s and increase your consumption of Omega 3s. These are in foods like olive oil and avocados.
Cold water fish is an excellent source of Omega 3 fat, particularly DHA, which is a super brain booster. One great way to make sure you're getting enough Omega 3, specifically DHA, is by taking a fish oil supplement. Doctors recommend one that contains at least 750 mg of DHA daily.
Butter is Better
At one time dieticians considered margarine, which is a trans fat, heart healthy. Doctors now say a better choice is butter.
In the last 20 years, trans fats have become the ingredient of choice for almost all processed foods. You can tell something contains trans fat if you see the word "hydrogenated" in the list of ingredients.
Saturated fats have really gotten a bad reputation over the last couple of decades. But they are not as bad as they have been made out to be. In fact, doctors recommend eating some saturated fats every day, such as coconut oil.
This saturated fat fights colds and the flu and has even reversed the symptoms of Alzheimers, ALS and Parkinson's Disease in some people.
Say 'No' to Inflammation
You should also remember those non-fat foods that make us fat and increase inflammation contain sugar and refined carbohydrates. Anything containing high fructose corn syrup or other sugars leads to inflammation.
So do grains, especially refined grains such as white bread, pasta, rice, and so on.
So when it comes to your health, inflammation beats out cholesterol as the new enemy. Take it on by saying "yes" to foods like fish and coconut oil, an

E-Cigarettes Fire Up Investors, Regulators
Write to Mike Esterl at mike.esterl@wsj.com
MIKE ESTERL
June 9, 2013, 10:29 p.m. ET
A group including Silicon Valley entrepreneur Sean Parker is investing $75 million in a leading maker of electronic cigarettes, part of a wave of money firing up a market that is under increasing regulatory scrutiny.
E-cigarettes are hot right now, but the nascent industry still faces the same health and regulatory questions of its leafy predecessor. Mike Esterl joins MoneyBeat to discuss.
The market for e-cigarettes—battery-powered devices that turn heated, nicotine-laced liquid into vapor—is small but growing rapidly, in part because they are increasingly seen as less harmful than conventional cigarettes.
Mr. Parker, who co-founded the music-sharing site Napster and was the first president of Facebook Inc., is part of an investment group acquiring a minority stake in Scottsdale, Ariz.-based NJOY Inc., one of dozens of e-cigarette companies that have surfaced since 2006.
"There's a huge opportunity to transition the entire world away from dangerous, carcinogenic, combusting cigarettes," said Mr. Parker, who has been a big donor to cancer research, in an interview.

Big tobacco companies also are piling in. Altria Group Inc., MO +0.44%which makes Marlboro cigarettes and controls roughly half the U.S. tobacco market, is expected to detail its e-cigarette plans Tuesday. Reynolds American Inc., RAI -3.07%maker of Camel cigarettes and the industry's No. 2, said last week it will sell e-cigarettes in Colorado ahead of a national rollout. No. 3 Lorillard Inc. LO +4.70%acquired Blu Ecigs, NJOY's biggest rival, for $135 million last year.
E-cigarettes, unlike traditional smokes, currently aren't federally regulated. The Food and Drug Administration warned consumers in 2009 the new technology could pose its own health risks and required further study. The agency has said it is planning regulations that would treat them as tobacco products, but has provided no details.
In an interview last week, FDA tobacco czar Mitch Zeller described the e-cigarette market as "the wild, wild West" in terms of regulation.
More than a dozen states, including Arkansas, Colorado and Maryland, have banned e-cigarette sales to minors. New Jersey, North Dakota and Utah have outlawed their use in enclosed public spaces. A bill approved by California's state senate in May would bring e-cigarettes under smoke-free laws covering public buildings, workplaces and restaurants.
Boston, Seattle and Indianapolis have extended their smoking bans to the devices. Airlines don't allow e-cigarettes, nor do Amtrak or Starbucks Corp. SBUX +1.61%
For current smokers, e-cigarettes are believed to be less harmful than traditional smokes, which release most of their toxins through combustion. But some studies indicate nicotine, the addictive agent in cigarettes and in the new devices, may harm fetuses.
The long-term impact of inhaling e-cigarette vapor, which contains other substances such as propylene glycol, has yet to be determined.
Among the questions faced by federal regulators: Could e-cigarettes, which currently offer flavors such as chocolate, strawberry and piña colada, serve as a gateway to traditional cigarettes for young people? Will longtime smokers use them only to get a nicotine fix where regular smoking is banned? What kind of age restrictions and warnings should they carry? And what about advertising?
The FDA's Mr. Zeller declined to comment on what future regulations might look like or when they will be proposed. E-cigarette sellers aren't currently allowed to make health or smoking cessation claims.
The European Union also is considering limits on e-cigarette sales, and France's health minister said last month the government would impose the same curbs on them as on conventional cigarettes. E-cigarettes are already restricted in Mexico, Brazil and several Asian countries.
The potential market for e-cigarettes is huge. Despite new regulation of cigarettes and stepped-up public health campaigns urging Americans to quit, nearly one in five American adults still smoke. E-cigarettes more closely mimic smoking than do other smokeless products such as moist snuff or nicotine patches.
Industry experts say U.S. retail sales of e-cigarettes could reach $1 billion this year, just 1% of the country's cigarette market but twice that of 2012, as they spread from the Internet to store shelves and generate buzz through television advertisements and celebrity endorsements.
Sales of traditional cigarettes have been falling as public-health officials mount graphic advertising campaigns and push to expand bans on smoking in public places, and as federal and state tax increases have raised cigarette prices.
NJOY, the company in which Mr. Parker is investing, is a top-selling brand. Although industrywide sales numbers are scarce, NJOY captured 35.6% of the $36.4 million in U.S. convenience-store sales in the four weeks ended May 11, according to Wells Fargo Securities, citing Nielsen scanner data.
Lorillard's blu had a 33.9% share, followed by the privately held LOGIC and 21st Century brands, with 13.8% and 7.4%, respectively.
Mr. Parker is investing nearly $10 million. Homewood Capital, a New York investment fund headed by Douglas Teitelbaum, is investing nearly $40 million. Boston-based Fidelity Investments is contributing about $25 million. And Founders Fund, a San Francisco venture-capital fund started by PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel, is kicking in roughly $5 million.
Mr. Thiel helped finance the 2005 film "Thank You for Smoking," a satire about the cigarette industry.
Mr. Teitelbaum, former head of hedge fund Bay Harbour Management, says he began exploring an investment in e-cigarettes after deciding the category could be a game-changer and that NJOY's product was impressive. "It's clear they have the flavor right, the look and feel of the cigarette right, the branding and packaging right," said Mr. Teitelbaum, who says he smoked traditional cigarettes for more than 30 years before switching to NJOY Kings a few months ago.
Unlike many rival e-cigarettes that are made of metal and weigh and look more like fountain pens, NJOY Kings more closely resemble regular cigarettes. The disposable cigarette retails for $7.99 and promises to last roughly as long as two packs of traditional cigarettes. The company has been advertising on TV and has attracted celebrity endorsers such as musicians Courtney Love and Bruno Mars.
In March, former U.S. Surgeon General Richard Carmona joined NJOY's board.
As the government's top physician, Mr. Carmona had highlighted the dangers of secondhand smoke and supported an outright ban of tobacco products.
After joining NJOY, Mr. Carmona said it is important to explore alternatives to traditional cigarettes because the adult smoking rate has remained stuck at around 20%.
More study is needed on the health effect of e-cigarettes, he said, but "initial information certainly suggests there is significant potential for harm reduction."
He added that e-cigarettes could be another tool to get more people to quit.

He has written several books and is in the right field for Anatabloc. Interesting he has written several negative articles about nightshade plants.... We need authors to be writing about the benefits of anatabine. That is how the word spreads faster.

Dr. Smith’s Philosophy: “There is only one guiding principle in the philosophy of my practice. Many know it as the Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” While this can be expanded in many ways, in my judgment everything eventually returns to this one concept. If I were the patient, I would want to be fully informed of all of my options, be educated as to why certain treatment approaches are preferable in my situation, understand fully what is being asked of me, and if necessary directed towards places and people where I can obtain necessary items and services for my recovery. My ultimate goal is to help patients get better and stay that way, regardless of treatment modality. That is what I would want, that is what I do my best to provide for my patients.”

Thanks for posting. Very interesting. Perhaps a few will learn more about Anatabloc from this. Comments are very interesting also.
I have said before that Anatabloc is going to completely change athletics. I began running a couple 8 minute miles a month ago and will increase over time. A friend who is 54 runs 8 miles a day and feels no pain with Anatabloc. His recovery is absolutely spectacular. He takes 15 a day taking more just before his run and just after. I am taking at least 12 anatabloc a day. Another friend who is 74 has never run in his life is out running 5 miles a day at 10 minute pace after being on Anatabloc for 3 months. Muscle recovery while on Anatabloc is amazing. Athletes are beginning to figure this all out.

“Since I have been taking Anatabloc, the tingles have diminished and so has the hip pain on my left side of my body. This product is the BEST!!!”

"I am a 49-year-old female runner. I've spent several weeks or months of each training season sidelined by injury. I started taking Anatabloc in the early fall and I have noticed that despite vigorous workouts, I have not been plagued by any injury. The addition of Anatabloc as a way to manage the inflammation that comes from rigorous training has been fantastic! I'll be using it throughout my marathon training for Boston this April!"
As far as all the other "competitor" supplements (I do not believe there is any competition) only anatabine has a natural self limiting MAOI mood enhancer. i.e the reason I feel 20+ years younger.
The self limitting factor is very important. If I took 100 Anatabloc my mood would remain the same. Thus "self limiting" person by person.
