Ya, $10 is way out there. With 60mil OS and a PE of 50(which isn't unattainable with the right growth #'S) they'd have to do $12mil in net income. That's a long way off. Been slowly accumulating for the right price.
Yes, I believe you do get it if you sell tomorrow. I screwed up by not selling this morning in the 7.50 range. I have a feeling this will open tomorrow morning around 6 to 6.20. The question I have to answer for myself is how long do I want to hold it.
Curious as to why you feel so bullish. All prior dividends have resulted in a 10+% drop which would put this close to $6. Unless the market rallies the next couple days I think sub 6 is possible.
I think they be able to raise the money to continue. There are about 41M shares out. If they can keep the price near $1 they won't have to dilute too substantially to make it through.

Birds,
Unfortunately, I think they only have one employee at this time, Fred. He is definately not a marketing person.
Rush, get a grip, we all knew the risks involved with this. Did you listen to your own advice and sell well before 3-30 deadline? If you did, be thankful and move on. If you didn't, don't whine like a victim and move on. The boardmaster had nothing to do with the performance of this stock. I made the mistake of not heeding to the deadline. When no PR was issued that the deal was done or that the deadline was being extended it should have told me to cut out. Lesson learned for the future. An expensive one nonetheless. These stocks are incredibly risky and people should even venture here if they can't accept the outcome. I look for a 50-50 win/loss record on these which results in exceptional returns. I'll mark this one in the loss column.

I wonder what's up with the sudden strength.
The question is how low will this go? You could currently buy every share of the company for under a half a mil. I'd be interested to see how many shares are owned by this board alone.
Unfortunately when you have a boatload of shares it prevents you from getting anything for them. I obviously knew going in that this was total risk capital but I still hate to lose, and I lost alright. Heck, if this gets to .001 you can buy the whole company for $65K. Seems like an awful cheap way to take a company public. Don't know what the liabilities currently are though.

Check, I Gold has tendered his resignation so that isn't an option from him.
That's very interesting since I just checked the website Tuesday night and it was still operational. My assumption is that they will rework the website with Kalahari as the focus.
"This acquisition provides us with immediate access to over 5,000 national retail outlets and supports our platform strategy to build a strong brand experience that makes a passionate connection with consumers," said Health Sciences CEO Stuart Gold.
Gold's specialty is branding and I'm sure that the new website will be the first effort towards that.
How about an after close PR to top things off!
Does somebody know something? 250,000 @.18
Hopefully somethings brewin'.
I am not quite sure what to make of the trading so far. Without an announcement yesterday I expected some selloff which we got but it wasn't very significant. What surprises me is there doesn't seem to be a "leak" of the news. A lot of times you start seeing huge volume one way or another preceeding the PR. Nothing so far. Unless Gold will no longer be involved with HESG, I still think he won't let this pass.
Just means they are going to be filing their year end 10-K late. Was due to be filed by the 31st. They have checked that there are no changes to prior year, no restatements, so I am guessing that the work on the acquisition probably delayed the work on the filing. Hopefully, they will close the deal and then file the annual report with full disclosure of the deal.
J, I wouldn't expect any information from them, only that sometimes you can get alittle read by tone of a conversation. I did try but only got voice mail. I am not really sure how many employees HESG has at this point. If it is only Fred and Stuart I am sure they would have been in Atlanta or at the Atty's. Tine will tell. Yes, Sat is the 31st but Monday is the first business day following either way.
Hey J, I sure would love to be a fly on the wall at HESG or Kalahari. Tried to pimp someone at Kalahari today but no dice. Since Sunday is the stated date I would hope we'll see something Monday. I was trying to look back at the filing because I seem to remember reading something about HESG doing some funding of Kalahari until the deal was signed but I can't find it. Does anyone else recall seeing this? If that was the case it would give extra incentive for closing the deal. Did anyone try calling HESG this week?
Anyone here live in Atlanta? That is where Kalahari is located. I should have planned a golf trip down there and stopped in for a visit.
That is a pretty tiny amount of shares. Heck, I probably bought them all!
Looking it up on register.com this is what comes up.
Record expires on 13-Oct-2007.

BTW, nice post John.
Certainly agree with you. The site could very well be completed but they couldn't open it until the ink has dried. I like the finish of the video...setting up camp soon.
You'll have to go through a couple of steps but I used register.com
Your can look it up on any web registration website. HESG is listed as the owner and Fred is listed as the contact person.
This seems to be a very good sign.
Done Deal? Has anyone seen this? www.kalahariltd.com
Setting up camp! Website is owned by HESG.
The rest of my order @ .0164 hasn't been filled. They seem to be holding today.

The dynamics of the Kalihari deal should propel this to .10 to .15 IMO. The .03's will be long gone.

I have a hard time believing that Gold would let this fall through. This is a PERFECT product for him with some distribution already. I would think he has confidence that he can make this into a major player since he's already done it once. I placed an online order for the products Monday and received them Wed. I have never really liked tea but my wife likes it so I thought she could be the judge. I actually tasted the cranberry apple and it was actually quite good. She's a big chai drinker but hasn't made any red chai yet. All the bars were good. Anyway, I have a significant position that I have been building leading up to any announcement. BTW, I asked the women taking my order kind of offhandedly about the acquisition and she said they she thought the details were being worked out. Not much of a confirmation but certainly not a confirmation that it will not happen.

Where is it way off?
Volume has modified strategy. Looks like we will probably set an ALL-TIME high for volume today.
As I think about this a little more I'll take a guess. I don't know how many shares were O/S before this deal but lets use 100 mil. It would seem that Tricon may have bought 100+ mil shares for a I'm sure a good discount. Lets say 4 cents. So for $4mil they own 50+%. Now there would be over 200 mil shares O/S. As much as I hate them, they may be considering a RS, lets say 4 for 1 which would leave 50mil O/S. Issue some audited F/S and away we go. Does anyone know what there current holdings of PETS is. Looks like they owned over 65% at one time.
You're right, it can only happen in BK. I plan on calling the company as I have many times but don't hold much hope in that as I have never been able to speak with anyone but the receptionist. I'll sell half today if I can sell that many and let the rest ride for now as free shares until I get a better feel for "capital restructure" The company and products have great promise as I have been a shareholder for over a year. I had a significant position in 06 and took a gamble by selling almost my entire position in December to offset cap gains for tax purposes. The gamble paid off as I was able to buy back after 30 days at a much better price. Just saying there is a red flag for me right now.

"as well a restructuring of PECB's capital structure" has me concerned. I hope they don't issue a new class or superclass of stock, effectively making the existing shares worthless. I've been building a nice position over the past two and a half months and I am very concerned about the wording in the PR.
What are you smoking?
Thanks.
Here is a quick analysis of the potential of 1 billion sq ft. If you look at a gallon it usually covers about 400 st ft. 1 billion / 400 sq ft is 2.5 million gallons. Don't know what the price is but conservatively $25/gal gives $62.5 million revenue.
What's with all the volume so far today? Maybe nearing some news?
"I'd really like to see Cameron in some Lyric jeans."
I'd really like to see her in no jeans!
Wow! Best day in 4 months. Volume is the leader.
