not sure how it happened. 10k went off at .30, then 6900 at .33 and 38,100 at .3499
i think the trades are being busted now. they disappeared off my T&S but still shows on the daily chart
L2 seems to be leaning towards a green open
Give us the SI data.... i hope it's 152.7
I appreciste the time you put into that explanation
Sometimes its easier just to keep it to the group of longs that asked the info not be distributed to avoid the ihub drama
Glta
Trading desks, whether principal or agency, don't have to actually execute a short sale to make their trading pad go short
I think we have all heard of SOES. That is an automatic execution when a person submits an online order. The SOES has a limit. It might be 5000 shares. if an order comes in over the size restriction for an automatic execution, it gets routed to a trader. Does your firm make a market. Then it goes to a principal trader. If your firm doesn't make a market, it goes to an agency trader. If it's a very large order that needs to be worked, it will go to a block trading desk. When orders go to agency and block trading desks, those are usually the old timer traders left or the people who were given the job because of who they know. It's a basic job of routing orders. It's these people that tend to have wandering eyes.
Accounting 101
If you buy a stock, you go long
If you are long and create a closing position you are flat.
Now look at this from the principal or agency trader that is not routed via SOES. They execute stocks in a suspense account. If the suspense account is not long stock and the trader then allocates a long position to a customer from their trading pad, the trading pad goes short. The trader now needs to buy that stock in the suspense account and allocate it to their pad.
Joe buys 100,000 IPIX at .22
The inside market is .21. x .22
Trader gives Joe 100,000 buy report at .22
The trading pad is now short 100,000 at .22
Does Joe try to buy the stock back at .21
With the advent of decimal trading from fractions, it's hard to make money on the spread. Now traders/investment houses have to be more scrupulous
The investment houses have ways to sweep the money to keep the settlement dates from raising red flags. There are compliance departments watching, but unless a position is causing a lot of noise, operations will keep sweeping that position along.
Unfortunately for all of us, traders have access to Limit Display screens. They can see all the firm's limit orders lined up in price order. Some of these firms are also responsible for selling stock for the company itself. That is the most dangerous trader because they will give out buy reports left and right knowing that a flood of stock is about to hit the market.
Also, some of these traders peek at the allocation systems when orders come in. There might be customers (now we are not just talking retail, but the institutional sales traders) who are always on the right side of the trade. then the traders make sure their trading pad is long so they can make money on the way up or short on the way down
The system is stacked against us retail. i have given this type of insight in the past
Agreed. I look forward to potentially good news on Friday or Monday. I appreciate the insight for the longs to share
Use these message boards for entertainment value... i literally have been through the gauntlet with OTC stocks on Ihub. I was on a board once where the posters literally created a secondary password protected website to share 'privvy' info. In the end, that password protected blog was shut down and it was found that those who created the site and all their companions were in on the schtick where they were given stock as compensation to promote the company and sucker in retail money.
I AM NOT SAYING BY ANY MEANS THAT IS HAPPENING HERE... but never let yourself feel like an outsider, because that is one of the ploys used in my other ventures to sucker you in.
thanks. i look forward to seeing this play out. i know what your point is, but when you tell people not to sell, i am reminded of movies like boiler room or the sorpanos pushing wimbizkits where it's the broker issuing all the paper making all the money at retail investor's expense. i don't know if you realized that is what your 'no one is pumping and dumping' post came across as
I thought we were still waiting on the SI numbers. Maybe that info will make it's way out this week.
The one poster who always makes outlandish statements doesn't factor into my thinking. I was just curious what a SI number of 152.7 would mean.
The poster is much appreciated on this board. It's like the person who must daily post GM IPIX or Power Hour
Then there is the long time poster here that says a meeting will be this Friday. That poster doesn't have a history of saying things like that. Why now? And there is at least 1 other poster backing up their statement.
A 3rd person comes out of the woodwork using reverse psychology, but posters 1 and 2 don't bite
What we have here is a classic set up and I very much appreciate it. Whether it's legit or not, it will shore up the price this week. I guess the meeting is supposed to finalize after 4PM on Friday after OTC trading closes till Monday.
I was referring to the other poster in reference to Friday
True but my experience on ihub is some people can't keep a pm a secret (if that's the case)
I assume 152.7 is a good thing? As it relates to B SI
it's the Molecular Formula for B
I don't remember. I thought it was because B has shown promising anti covid 19 results. Whats a grant if u have a drug that won't go anywhere?
Since ihub puts the filings up, i did notice the last few PR's the company stopped issuing concurrent 8k filings
Release the SI numbers
Just remember to recap everything in the pr from the last 5 prs too
I think IPIX did quite well today given the Friday afterhours filing last week.
I believe the Leviston filing and S3 are related. If you research another recent pubco that dealt with Leviston, you will see the S3 was required as part of an equity purchase agreement. There is very little clarity on this and it's only my OPINION and not FACT
Again, IPIX did very well today given the large number thrown out on Friday
We are still waiting for the SI number which seems to be part of the federal grant package(s)
I went through many FDA links today in reference to Pre-IND and IND for Covid 19. It seems either for IND or pre-IND, the sponsor needs to have the drugs ready to go before being approved. Maybe this is why IPIX keeps bringing this point up via PR.
The company does seem to repeat some info with each subsequent PR and leaves other info out. The PR's seem to be coming at least 1x per week now, so is it necessary to keep repeating some info and leaving other info out? Could be an IR/PR issue
The PR mentioned "two active treatment arms evaluating different IV dosing regimens in hospitalized patients with COVID-19." I have watched stocks get picked apart for not being randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled.... hopefully IPIX does what it takes to avoid this critique.
The more PR's I see, I sense the RBL is a totally separate lab from the PHRI. I know there has been some discussion on this lately. Even the corporate update on the website says 2 separate labs
I did find that RBLs do have an NDA with client. I am not sure if it's reciprocal and that is why IPIX can't announce the lab??
Back in 2017 or 2018, IPIX named at least 2 CDMO's for Brilacidin via PR. If the RBL chose the CDMO, and there is an NDA in place, I can see why this remains a mystery to this day. There was mention of a timeline from the CDMO in today's PR along with a successful IND with FDA. I recall a few days back discussion about how long it takes to make B. Does it make sense it would/could/should/ be ready sometime during Q3... maybe in line with GMU's timeframe of finishing the study in August?
Also i saw the estimate for one of the trials done about 2 years ago (via PR). It was estimated at $6 to $7 million . This seems to fit in with the recent update via PR about having $6 million in cash to proceed.
I am excited for the day a PR reads "IPIX has submitted it's IND (or even Pre-IND) with FDA for the use of B to fight Covid 19" or many other PR's that could happen. Unfortunately today's PR contained non-specific info that seemed it was put out to create demand for the stock today to offset selling pressure which as i have said today was related to Friday's after hours filing
GLTA
You don't think the ongoing testing at the labs might suggest the grants are still in processing? It's the rbl and phri that are providing the data for the grants. The ceo said we are waiting on SI numbers
There seems to be a succession to the prs however the Friday afternoon filing is where the pressure is coming from imho..... because none of us really more then the next person
look if you want to create hype out of thin air, that's not my mantra. anyone can say we are planning human trials. i am being realistic. where is the ind? leo put it in today's pr. next pr will say preparing to prepare to prelim ind or something vague.
Your hesitation with my concern is the same reason why people are hesitating here. People are expected to connect the dots as another person just posted. Where is the IND? How long does it take to get an IND approved? Q4 is a few weeks away. I am all for it to happen
Plus my initial post today said my comments were going to be based solely on today's trading because this is how OTC stocks react. I think people are trying to turn me into a negatively nelly to make themselves feel better
just look at today's trading. my comments were spot on. tomorrow is a new day
my goal is for a pinksheet stock to be transparent. i have been involved with many ihub gangs on raging bull since the 90's that think they can brainwash people. i am here trying to keep grounded.
you might want to create bagholders so you can unload on them. i prefer to find hidden gems when the time is right. block me if you don't like me
Basically all the companies that I have followed during the CV19 pandemic have said they are collaborating with a specific lab, company and/or institution. I don't recall any of them generalizing saying 1 of 13 possible labs are our partner or undisclosed university or phri. Tell me one that hasn't named it's collaborator to get it's feet off the ground.
Is there an IND app with the FDA? If not, can an IND be approved so quick? Q4 is right around the corner.
Goal is Human Trial starting Q4. Now if the company could be more transparent with who, what, when, where it would be more reassuring.
With no update today, the forecast is sell off. It's great to be an optimist but knowing how the otc works, burying a sec filing friday after the close does not sit well with the market.
Would hope to see a PR this morning to counter that pressure.
This is just a comment on today's trading... so no need to remind m the 'know what you own' routine. i got it
Speak of the devil (or pr)
http://www.ipharminc.com/press-release/2020/7/13/innovation-pharmaceuticals-clinical-trial-testing-of-brilacidin-against-sars-cov-2-covid-19-targeted-to-commence-q4-2020
the Company is looking to start a clinical trial with Brilacidin for COVID-19 treatment in Q4 2020. This forecast assumes manufacturing is completed, per the manufacturer’s timeline, and a successful Investigational New Drug (IND) application with the Food and Drug Administration
I find it interesting that Brilacidin is on the drop down menu for candidates

The feeling of disenfranchisement is exactly how Trump was elected in the first place. The MSM spin on a daily basis reinforces that feeling.
562
the number of IPIX posts since the market closed on Friday
Does IPIX current communicate with any investors on this board?
At what point did IPIX stop responding to investor inquiries? Is this something new or a while?
The company said in collaboration with RBL that the grant was only submitted a few weeks ago. Is there a time line for companies that submit a federal grant to hear back? This is the problem when a company regurgitates similar info in back to back prs and then leaves out other info in subsequent prs. Why we are left to connect dots is beyond me, but it seems to give some of you plenty of joy to do so
I was coming up with a worst case scenario because there seems to be a pie in the sky spin on this board. Ok so posters are talking about the good aka fantasy. On the otc reality is dilution yet I have been enlightened to previous guesses as to why the as was increased.
Its good to keep a level head
Sorry this post is choppy. My kids are surrounding me
You have to look up rule 457(o)
It pretty much says the company is just throwing out a dollar amount. If the stock goes up, obviously less amount of shares need be issued and the opposite is true if the pps goes down, then more shares would need to be issued.
As of now the as stands at 600 mill
I don't have the os number but I believe is 330 mill
600-330=270
$60 mill / 270 mill = .222 min price
Now the as can always be raised which is common place on the otc which could dilute the min price lower
Rule 457(o)
Usually there needs to be a price per share listed to come up with the registration fee. I couldn't help but notice there was no price listed however a registration fee appears
imho this basically means the company is telling us they are willing to do an offering but in reality they don't know what they want to do at this point. I think this is just a Plan B
seeing articles like this from a RBL make me feel better about the secrecy. there is a NDA in place
https://cvmbs.source.colostate.edu/antiviral-compounds-against-covid-19-tested-in-secure-labs-at-csu/
4th paragraph below 'request for testing'
others on this board have years and years experience with the ceo. i don't know his personality and what he is capable of doing. $60 million might be the backup plan. it just seems a hefty number to throw out all at once when you trade at .30
Why does IPIX need $60,000,000? Seems like they have been getting by on a shoe string budget and now we hear they have $6 million in cash and are looking for $60,000,000
this can be played both bullish and bearish. thankfully we have all weekend to beat this topic to death...
I assume most, if not all of us follow other pubco's working on some sort of 'thing' for covid 19
Out of these other pubco's that I follow which announce something like a collaboration, they don't leave out the pertinent info such as the name of the collaborator. Does anyone have experience with a pubco withholding this info during Covid19? please don't twist this question into a complaint. i am looking for supporting reasons
i apologize for that comment. i think i was just recalling some of my long term investment ceo's in the past. my mistake for including ipix ceo with the nda/blackout period comment
i guess i was insinuating why the RBL or PHRI hasn't been officially named
maybe it's my misunderstanding (won't be the first time)
June 17:
The Company is in the process of manufacturing Brilacidin for intravenous (IV) dosing and will be seeking FDA guidance for a planned COVID-19 clinical study.
July 7:
Steps have begun with the Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) in preparation for upcoming manufacture of the drug product for COVID-19 clinical trial use, to be followed by interactions with relevant Health Authorities to obtain input and guidance on trial design.”
In a few weeks we went from 'in the process of manufacturing' to 'in preparation for upcoming manufacture'
Seems like June 17th should have said preparing for upcoming and then on July 7th said in the process of manufacturing... that's what safe harbor is for
