Blue - if I were a potential partner on regabatin, I would not be offering a lot up front as odidis track record speaks for itself. I think it will be minimal payment up front, reasonable milestone payments along the way and large payment at fda approval along with profit sharing. Also partner pays all costs for clinical trials which will be 20-30 million.
Samsa- Just a guess on my part. Regabatin deal will have no money or cash up front- or very little. But partner will pay milestone payments and all costs for clinical testing. The clinical test costs will be substantial.
Nice to see some insider buying by Patient. Would be even nicer to see Odidi buy some now.
This is very good news! So later this year Topline results from HAP studies. If those results are good, I think there will be a partnership agreement entered into on Rexista. I now feel the people with interest in partnering have held off to see these results.
Doog- But they did start the PODRAS tests.
I will sum up what they are trying to accomplish this year if anyone is unclear:
1. PODRAS first human results announced mid 2018.
2. Topline HAP studies results second half of 2018.
3. Goal of a Regabatin partner mid 2018.
4. Working on international markets that are available with only FDA approvals(current ANDAs that are approved or will be approved). These are lower volume, higher margin markets. Packaging tests/shelf life tests are in process for these as these markets require different packaging. Late 2018 hopefully for this to start to take off.
wimike- Lets hope they do a little buying soon...
tilator- How often do you see PH1 or PH2 studies that fail? LOL
tilator- I like that idea. That would be real good. IPCI's revenge!
Blue- If you read some of my past posts you know what I think. They are certainly fed "good" info... By a source that has good access to IPCI... Whether or not that construes inside info is a legal question that I cannot answer. But I certainly feel they get this info earlier than most people. I also feel a lot of the shorting/manipulation was done by the past offerings buyers.
Samsa- Yes, if someone goes to grab it, they may pull it.
Blue- You have to remember that these shorts have always been privy to good info on IPCI. They likely know no news is coming before the NASDAQ hearing. Lots of uncertainty surrounding that hearing. So I think they are being aggressive and trying to get people to sell in the low 30s. That way they can cover. I do believe they don't want to go into the NASDAQ hearing with a full short position. No real buyers at this level, so they control the price. Insider purchases right now would be helpful for longs.
Fabius- What you said in regards to defensive positioning makes sense. Remember, no one knows what outcome of NASDAQ meeting will be. Thus, most won't risk jumping in right now. This defensive positioning will allow the shorts to cover somewhat in the 30s. At least that is what I think their plan is. I don't think they want to go into NASDAQ meeting with a fully loaded short position. Actually, I think most evidence suggest that IPCI gets an extension- but it certainly is not for certain. So I think that would confirm they want to at cover somewhat.
wimike- I just looked on LII and saw 9700 available at $0.39. Is that what you are talking about? I did not see any huge block.
Doog- Lots of people probably waiting to see what happens with NASDAQ meeting. My gut tells me that NASDAQ sees the potential and also takes into account the many years they were compliant. My guess is NASDAQ gives them a sympathy extension. Lots of news then in mid 2018 to end of 2018.
Doog- What will be interesting in all this is who bought those past offerings. As you said Amigo was right... He was happy when they discontinued ATM. I am guessing that the latest offerings were private placements due to past issues as well. I think IPCI finally realized the source and the ammunition for the games... It was their own offerings and ATM. I don't know who made changes but possibly the new CFO helped bring these about. These changes took place at about the same time he came on board.
Doog- They will be pulled. Mark my words.
Wimike - the lawsuit alleges insider trading... So I think sheets will be pulled as part of discovery and all will be revealed.
Wimike - don't you think Anson is one shorting? Sure seems like a big part of their business strategy.
wimike- It is the same guy that has been doing the same thing for years. They have a good source of info on the company- they always have.... They know the next thing will be the NASDAQ hearing in mid May. So they will sell it down a little more than do some covering before the NASDAQ hearing.
Angelo- I think I see your points in this post. A couple of items:
1. ATM and open offerings were discontinued and replace with private placements. I believe this was done to combat the buyers of previous offerings as they were using these to manipulate price. They were getting inside info from offerings brokers. They also know well in advance when offerings were coming. This allowed them to manipulate. Anyone want to guess who was buying these offerings and manipulation price?
2. Boyd was sold shares to protect IPCI from this group. Boyd was hand picked by Odidi to help him get through 2018. If Odidi did not sell to Boyd, IPCI was at risk for a hostile takeover. Now with BOYD in place and on board with giving Odidi time to execute 2018 events, hostile takeover will not happen any time soon.
These are just my theories as I know none of this for a fact.
Angelo - don't forget the odidis get substantial paychecks every month. So if round one longs are sacrificed, they both continue to collect substantial six figure incomes. Big difference.
Doog- I guess when you make a deal with the devil, eventually he comes for your soul. This is the guys odidi got money from and who he gave inside information to saying next offering is at 25 cents...
Fabius- It is obvious the shorts are privy to information before everyone else. You are right, these developments are too perfectly timed.
Doog- I would love to see a partner on Regabatin. Even if there was no up front payment and the partner said I will pay for all clinical tests(about $30M). I am guessing the hold up on Regabatin is that Odidi has unrealistic expectations. He wants the partner to give IPCI a large amount of upfront money and that is where the negotiations break down. This is just my opinion though. Would love to hear the case for partner giving $10M up front and paying for all clinical trials.
Fabius and Blue- I said a few weeks ago I thought IPCI gets bought out at $50M. That is the end game.
Doog- I said that many months ago what do 50 employees do all day. No new products for years, no production, no deals made...
Fabius - I agree this error shows how second rate this company is
Fabius- That is what I see in this NASDAQ miss. A very simple math problem that they screwed up. We are not talking rocket science or Fourier transforms... We are talking simple X + Y - Z = A... It blows my mind the level of incompetence I see from these guys. For God's sake they had to make sure they could show $2.5M in shareholder equity a month down the road. If that was the plan, they should of had made darn sure they did!
Thanks for letting us know Mopar!
Doog- I hear ya... He just never follows through... I guess when he steps up and buys some we know that is the bottom... With the way things are going, I would not be surprised in coming months if Odidi buys 10M shares at a quarter through a private placement. It just seems like something like that could happen.
Doog- Lets hope they are doing some human trials on PODRAS. I think positive results in first human PODRAS trials could be a significant catalyst. Because PODRAS really could be worth big money if the concept works.
Declaes- Think about the current market cap. Then determine what you think the ANDA pipeline would get in a straight cash sale of all those. Then you make your determination. But also take into account that IPCI is always low on cash and they prefer to dilute over signing deals.
Fabius- They meant that can't control price upward... They sure know how to bring it down!
Samsa- I don't think you really can compare Vasogen to IPCI. If I remember correctly, Vasogen had all its eggs in one basket with some heart medication. This medication failed PH3 testing. Which pretty much left them with no IP. Seemed to me that the only thing of value with Vasogen was its NASDAQ listing. I believe the only reason these two companies combined was so IPCI could be listed on NASDAQ. The difference I see is IPCI has IP that has some value. All I wrote above is just going from memory... So if anyone can confirm or tell their version of what happened with Vasogen, please do.
Doog - odidi has become a joke. He does nothing but sit back and enjoy the ride down. He has made no efforts to address issues as they come up. He prefers to give excuses.
Fabius- I really believe Odidi is completely out of touch with reality. That is the only way to explain what has happened. I do not believe he is intentionally trying to take the company down. But his arrogance and stubbornness along with his inability to face reality keeps putting the company in a deeper hole. The market cap is under $20M now...
Fabius- I guess that is what I see now. Either they do an offering or sign a deal. They never ever seem to get the deals done, so my guess is they sell an offering again. WOW!
The clown show continues... I am pretty sure if we raise $X we will be in compliance... Oh wait, we raised just a little too much... Oh crap... What do we do now?
