LOL. Logic doesn't work on these boards. I can say this for sure - if these guys were trading like this with legit companies, they'd be bankrupt in a month or less.
Yeah - am bored. When a company tells you it's selling shares and you still buy - gotta doubt the ol' brain capacity. Still...people get rich with the flamingos all the time on the bigger sucker principle.
The company had 200 mil shares left in treasury to sell. Kinda makes one wonder.
Like Shake has said before, even scams can make you money. But SEIH mgt just awarded themselves free shares at the same time they requested 3B more because they need money to run the biz. Sounds like some P&D in progress.
Plus they just announced a proxy to increase the A/S by 3 billion. But I've made money on it before so who knows? But 3B is too many shares for me to buy, LOL.
Manipulation? The company did a 1:1000 R/S this year. I don't think it's the "MMs" manipulating things.
Definitely stinky. And as the man says - tips are for waiters. Leave 'em on the table.
You back at the job today?
Not really...I guess a bunch of people "knowingly or not" sold restricted shares and may have to buy them back at higher prices - that's the fear. But if I know brokers they'll either reverse the trades or just halt the stock and leave a lot of bagholders. And this was a BB stock and not a pinky, LOL. One of the pitfalls of e-commerce.
These people are nuts if they think AMTD will eat some trades, LOL...brokers like to eat. Not that they couldn't afford it. They'll reverse the trades most likely and PO a lot of people.
What a series. Didn't think the Mavs could hang on.
Hey Bud. How's it going? Yeah...It must be getting close to the actual strike price of the nearest option by now.
Thanks for the info Bud. I just can't get my head around those, although I'd say if you're in "early" it's a great play. I have to run to town at 11, so I wouldn't be around to watch it. Otherwise, I probably would've played.
The following stocks either had no data on YHOO or had no listed revenues, even though I know STTK supposedly has some: FASC, MLHP, AMEP, GCOG, STTK, OGHC, DMED, DSNY, VNBL, IDSM, THMG, ARGY
The above may be ones to watch and check against the model...as they passed all but revenue - or data on revenue at any rate. THMG is a minerals play; not exactly fond of the BB gold plays, and GCOG is an oil play. Not sure how to value those wild projections they sometimes have.
Ok...of the remaining here are the revenue and market caps:
Format = Symbol, Mkt Cap, Revenue:
ITRO 8.26 MIL VS 1.36 MIL
IFDG 12.4 MIL VS 845 K
NWPO 12.8 MIL VS 23.9 K
VACM 4.85 MIL VS 2.4 MIL
PFSD 6.3 MIL VS 313 K
TNSX 6.2 MIL VS 3.4 MIL
TLPE 22.3 MIL VS 8.1 MIL
GXYF 9 MIL VS 40 MIL - SEEMS VERY STRANGE
WMDA 5.7 MIL VS 1.5 MIL
CDNC 6.3 MIL VS 27.9 MIL - ANOTHER STRANGE ONE; I HAVE PASSED ON IT IN THE PAST
MCDG 30.8 MIL VS 141 K
I'm going to read some news on these tomorrow to see which have a positive news bias. I haven't seen VACM, TNSX, TLPE before. And those numbers for CDNC and GXYF make me feel they may not be worth the time to look at.
I'd also put the ones on top into the model as well, even w/o rev figures. But I was trying to find some with revenues - safer IMO, if only moderately so. It seems w/o knowing the news that VACM and TNSX are ones to look at intially. Don't even know what they do yet.
Sorry...I know this was long, LOL...and I couldn't do this every night w/o a screener. Almost 4, time to get a little nap in.
The remaining...FASC, ITRO, MLHP, IFDG, AMEP, GCOG, NWPO, STTK, OGHC, DMED, DSNY, VACM, PFSD, TNSX, GXYF, WMDA, VNBL, IDSM, TLPE, CDNC, THMG, MCDG, ARGY
Ok...going to try and eliminate those on YHOO without revenue figures.
Remaining:
FASC, TRDY, ADVC, EPYH, ITRO, MLHP, IFDG, AMEP, GCOG, NWPO, STTK, APOA, OGHC, POPN, IACH, DMED, DSNY, VACM, PFSD, CLXN, TNSX, AACS, GXYF, MMAM, WMDA, PLKC, VNBL, IDSM, TLPE, CDNC, MBAH, SDRT, EDGH, THMG, MCDG, ARGY
Second cut: greater than 500 million O/S: ADVC, IACH, PLKC
What's left: FASC, TRDY, EPYH, ITRO, MLHP, IFDG, AMEP, GCOG, NWPO, STTK, APOA, OGHC, POPN, DMED, DSNY, VACM, PFSD, CLXN, TNSX, AACS, GXYF, MMAM, WMDA, VNBL, IDSM, TLPE, CDNC, MBAH, SDRT, EDGH, THMG, MCDG, ARGY
Third cut: too low dollar volume: EDGH, TRDY, EPYH, APOA, POPN, MMAM, CLXN, MBAH, AACS, SDRT. That narrowed it a bit.
What's left:
FASC, ITRO, MLHP, IFDG, AMEP, GCOG, NWPO, STTK, OGHC, DMED, DSNY, VACM, PFSD, TNSX, GXYF, WMDA, VNBL, IDSM, TLPE, CDNC, MBAH, THMG, MCDG, ARGY
See next post.
Criteria: PPS <.50, PPS % Up 5-15%, Volume >=100K. I will subsequently limit them based on whether there has been an R/S within 1 year and those that didn't trade at least 15K dollar volume and those with greater than 500 milliion O/S...so be patient.
FASC, TRDY, DNAG, EPYH, PXIT, ITRO, MLHP, IFDG, AMEP, GCOG, NWPO, STTK, APOA, OGHC, POPN, IACH, DMED, DSNY, VACM, PFSD, CLXN, TNSX, CBAY, AACS, GXYF, MMAM, WMDA, PLKC, VNBL, IDSM, TLPE, CDNC, MBAH, SDRT, EDGH, THMG, MCDG, ARGY
First cut recent R/S: DNAG, PXIT,CBAY
The following companies have had R/S, but greater than a year ago: consequently, even though some may have been (and I didn't research this) due to reverse mergers, : STTK, VACM, APOA, IACH, CLXN, TNSX, GXYF, MMAM, TLPE, VNBL, IDSM, ARGY. See next post for continuation.
Dunno Bud, LOL. Sometimes these escape me. But, I'm going to begin what you talked about tonite...getting back into studying the BBs. Try to separate the wheat from the chaff so to speak. Read about them, weed out the death spirals, see if any really have anything substantive. I don't have your model, but I know some things to look for.
You pick up some?
Sorry Bud. Had trouble sleeping and just woke up. Yeah...it seemed liked a winner then. Almost bought, but we just watched; and it didn't go anywhere.
Sorry I didn't respond Bud. First time I visited the board today. Didn't know ya were lurking, LOL. Been trying to get this slow computer to work. Frustrating - getting my L2 to kick in is even work. Going to have to get a new hard drive and windows. Hopefully, take all the fluff off and just have windows, office, aol.
10 million are at .005, the other half at .01.
Pinksheets - though not the most reliable of sources - say that as of May 10 they have 1.17 billion shares out. Or were you talking about the float; or maybe something has happened since May 10. Just curious. Seems like .005 could see some resistance with the stock options out there at that SP. Still, a good return from here if it goes.
Paddlez Clear!
saw where it had pulled back some. might be a good play for a whale - being a $1 stock. I can't flip anything over a nickel, lol.
That guy make his jump, lol. Felt like jumping after all the headaches of the last couple days. Was up 30 hours!!!!!! Insomnia - not for me, lol.
Fixed - seemingly - le old hunk of hardware. Running like a jewel. Apparently had some AOL connex issues and some programs running in the background clogging up the system.
This weekend's goal: apply to fifty companies in the US and a few overseas, lol.
I should've pulled the trigger on that CNXT the other day. May hit 4 today.
Will watch them both if I can Bud. I might be out of commish...either need a new, cheap computer or fix this one if they can. Would go nuts w/o my daily research...yuck!
Hey...Cramer just recommended that stock I sent you...ARRS. I must be gettin' better.
SHEM THE SHEMANO GROUP, INC. ,SAN FRANCISCO ,415-274-3234
Hey Bud. Certainly is slow. If there were an index of BB activity it would have to be flatlining. Glad I'm not selling these things for a living, lol.
Around this morning Bud? I don't see alot moving.
VICL up nice today - but too high in pre-market to make a difference. Bird flu play. One to watch for a pullback - once any progress is really made on human testing: I supsect most of these BFLU plays will fizzle unless there actually appears to be a likely vaccine. Good for a trade though if we can find one before someone else hops on it.
That thing had what a ten bagger today at one point. Haven't looked at it in a while.
If you bought I hope you got in early...up 293% today. Sheesh...I should've checked more into it. Guess I'll have to start considering pinkies again, lol.
I'd take 30 bucks, lol. You in? Hey...you still have that mail that AMTD sent you about not getting filled on BB stocks?
Would be nice to know the O/S.
And probably the same kind of ticket, LOL...you have to know a friend of a friend kind of thing. Nice party to be invited to though.
Might have been worth a shot then. I only know the Big Five or so. That's why I like having The Sage in my corner.
No doubt. You received the warning from AMTD about the "reliability" of OTC BB's and they're more "regulated"...who knows what the prices of pinkies mean. Heck...look at ITWJ: B/A .0001 / .0003...nice spread there for the MM's eh?
The one thing I've learned from Buffett...maybe the only thing as the becoming a billionaire hasn't worked yet, lol...is to buy things you understand. Even momo's...I like to understand.
Seems so. I've never invested in mining companies per se because I haven't studied how to read their financials...yet. I will, of course. I don't know how to read "reserves". Some are estimated reserves vs proven reserves I believe. I just don't know how to value such things yet. Of course - just the news that they have that much in assets might give it a pop.
