I wouldn't say a dollar, but right now at this stage it is a bit over valued, I'll be buying if it dips below $3
LOL fyi I am a follower and supporter of TWEED after watching what they've been doing since they been granted the licencing, they've been doing an exceptional job and I'm sure they will do well (LOL not a $10 or $20 PPS by summer like some people are specifying on this board) but they should do fine.
As per the below commnet. If Trudeau gets in, legalization is a slam dunk? not likely...IF and that's a BIG IF it would be a minority government and changes etc. do not happen quickly if at all in a minority government and if he does get elected then Canada will have time to learn he was not the best choice.
Also Canada will follow suit? follow suit to US? again not likely...the only thing Canada is looking at US is how many mistakes the US government is doing and NOT TOO FOLLOW SUIT....example mortgage collapse...nope not here in Canada!
Anyways I'm sure TWEED will be the front runner here in Canada they did exceptionally well in preparing to go public and had a very well laid out plan in terms of business! Awesome execution. They will do very well.
I will be floored if it is not fully legalized in the next 5 years. The states are going to start rolling over like dominoes considering their poor fiscal positions. Canada will follow suit cause our leaders are a bunch of sock puppets.
If Trudeau gets in, legalization is a slam dunk. And i hope to god he does, because he is the only candidate with a backbone that's not some ex-highschool loser/gladhander/yes-man. And he has a legacy to live up to, he will do the right things and stand up to US strongarm.
Awesome read tech!!! I'm only a newbie but you laid out your information very well for this newbie. I am hoping you are right, it really seems that way...coincidence, I was actually going to post on the board if anyone still thinks the takeover scenario was still valid ( after reading older post about nevsun )
Anyways loved your intro and the content, I'm actually hoping for a takeover, I know I am biased but your DD makes perfect sense.
I don't know too much about business, but I always remember one thing someone told me....if you start a business the most important thing is the exit strategy...whether that's true or not!
Thanks for the DD and I'm hoping the other guys chime in and provide their feedback on your post!
Again thank you!
Gramercy definitely been very busy!!!
Nice!!! Can't wait for your post!!!!
Thanks spenca! I have the same feeling in terms production based on the CC!!!
I'm pretty sure it's this week. I listened to the CC and the last question John Clarke responded that he would follow up with an answer next week when they discuss the Q1 2014 numbers, I may be wrong but that's what I got out of it.
Also just a question for the guys on the board, one thing that peaked my interest was when John Clarke speceified Twangiza to bring the plant up to a design capacity of 1.7 million tonnes per year. I may be really off here but I am sure he mentioned that basically they were confident they didn't need to run the plant to full capacity to acheive the gold they are predicting for 2014........with that said, later on in the CC someone came back and basically asked the question so what capacity are you running the plant and John responsed 1.7MM.
Now coming from a person who doesn't know too much about mining etc....in combination with (im assumuming) their nonchalant attitude of having no real worries about paying their debt. Does this mean we may have a surpirse in terms of production.
I am a biased listener but from what I was listening to even with the weather issues they may have been conservative on gold production and I'm hoping for a surprise when the Q1 2014 numbers come out.
Tech, Braised, Spenca, investorwisdon can you let me know if you heard that comment about the "1.7mm tones per year" and how they don't need to run full capacity to acheive their 2014 goals at Twangiza!
Thanks in advance!
LOL I'll volunteer but I don't have any extra cash for the flight, it's all in Banro!
I may have worded that wrong, but why don't you phone him yourself he is interested in still looking at the mining option for GDSM. Just phone him and ask he's actually very resceptive and quite honest
I bought majority at 0.0012
Hey guys I've been long with GDSM for a few months but I'm getting worried and I may need to cut my losses. It's a bit hard for me to believe that Mike can talk a reputable / revenue making private company to do a "reverse merger" etc. After discussion Mike has confirmed it may take a longer time expected as this is not his forte, what kinda scare me was he was still looking at the gold mining aspect, which raised a flag to me thinking that he may be nearing an end to options on the MJ front and reverting back to his expertise. Nevertheless I'll hold a little bit longer and see what happens. GO GDSM (Hoping)
I think tech is getting it from the events section from the Banro official site which was recently deleted! I still have a screen shot of the 2014 events list which was revised to what we see today. Thursday shows "Q1 2014 Production Numbers Released" on April 10th, 2014! Nevertheless hoping to hear about the update soon!!!
Thanks guys for clearing that up backed with the respective DD. It's just boggle's my mind why someone would come on the site to say that sort of thing. At the end of the day if he put enough care and explanation in his comments as some of the guys put in their DD of BAA, maybe I would listen more.
Thanks again guys!
Tech, Specaround, Investorwisdon, Braised...can you address this. I cannot think of any reason why Banro would even think about this when they are planned on pulling 180-200K Oz of gold out of the ground, if production was nil then so be it! Please provide your feedback, much appreciated! Thanks
Definitely great points you listed Tech! Thanks for all the great DD, looking forward to the near future! go BAA!!
Great post past week guys (on vacation) but appreciate all the great DD, been reading up on each and every one!!! purchased 4000 more shares this morning on TSX! Go BAA
HOLDING....lol go BAA!!!
Mods can we please sticky some of the great DD that's been recently posted on this board! Thanks so much everyone! Its great info for the current investors and substantial to future investors!!! GO BAA
Awesome insight braised, you along with a majority of guys here provide insight with the verbiage straightforward enough for barbarians like me to understand and I cannot thank you guys enough. I only chose Banro because of the great community development and especially the undervalue of the share price!! I want to thank you so much for taking your time to respond to my questions, it means allot to me and some of my friends and co-workers who are new to investing but heavily invested in Banro! Thanks so much to you and everyone, can't express appreciation from my group enough!!
Hi braised I'm not very strong about the mining industry corporate wide but can you or others provide insight in terms of when a company is in the position of being bought out and when it wouldn't be? Meaning at this time would Banro be a good candidate of being bought out or would it be ideal for a buyer to wait untill the 200-240k production in concrete? Furthermore what gives a company the initiative to decline being bought out and have a plan to become bigger and aquire other companies? Thanks! Go BaA
Totally Appreciate your analysis!!! go bAA!!!!
What is your prediction when they lay out the production for Q1 2014 (assume they hit typcial forecasted numbers) in consideration to the current gold price? Let me know your thoughts?
Oops lol that's was an old
Post! Sorry guys, very new to this. Anyways good
Luck to everyone on this board! Maybe one day Penn West will do good, if they get their game right!
I think so too...but remember gold 2 years ago is not the same price point as gold today. GO BAA
I'm hoping Banro has become more efficient operational and construction wise in order to decrease their all in sustaining cost! I have high hopes for this company for 2014!!!
No offense but I disagree, I'm haven't read the 99% of post on this board, I don't know if Penn West has assets in US or not but hopefully they execute better in US than they do in CAN, but I don't feel they will even get past $10.00 a share this year, this company need help in all levels. I'd buy just for the purpose of the dividends
I myself didn't read too much about the p/b ratio but I'm assuming the rule of thumb is less than 1 undervalued, with that said, I'm sure Banro production definitely increased due to namoya and efficiencies at twaziga! All I know if I've been comparing companies listed as Peer / Comparable companies and I don't need the p/b ratio to tell me Banro should be over a $1 for sure lol, I don't know how the gold price is going to affect the revenue, I'm hoping Banro has always thought conservatively not only on their selling price for gold but hopefully their production,
I am hoping they blow us away in the next few weeks! I'm hoping and praying!! go BAA (be easy I just started investing this year)
Sorry Iggity, I will wait from other members on board, really new to investing so Id like to hear others feedback as well

Maybe a better link with examples
Am I seeing this right BAA on the tax had 11mil volumes? TSX barely break 1mil???
I added as well, it was a no brainer at these levels ! Go BAA
and it's great seeing GREEN especially what's been happening the past few days! FEW MORE WEEKS untill the Q1 2014 updates!
oh Banro! I'll still hold strong untill April 10th!!! GO BAA
Any comments on Jannet Yellens press conferenece?
its funny on the TSX which has less volume than the AMEX under the IHUBS trade tab, yesterdays numbers were 579,500 asks and 48,000 sells......can someone please explain what they think is happening here
Ok great! Thanks,
Very much appreciated!!!!
Wondering if anyone can answer this...I have money on BAA (AMEX) and majority of my fund BAA (TSX) can someone please explain to me what their interpretation is in terms of the volumes...under "trades" the ratio of sell vs buy? Just super confused at what is going on???? GO BAA
Hi tech you mentioned the 9th? I thought financials were in March 26-31, do you happen to have a link where it specifies April 9th? Thanks again! Go BAA
That's too bad to hear! I wish u the best of luck!
Or...? I love reading our insights!!!
