Look at "exemptions" keeping in mind that Merck is a Dutch company.
BTW: Nice SA article, JTFM. Got some attention on the ATRS YMB. Good timing too. Thank you.
Wishing all the best in 2016 to all of you!
JTFM
Thanks for posts on YMB.
Thanks Jeff. Best to you too! And all ANIP longs!
Wow. No one can accuse Stephen Simes of not having a distintive style! Thanks for sharing. I've been too busy to follow this story.
I agree that Ireland is a logical choice. Exciting news forthcoming in 2016. Thanks again for being so generous with your research.
Hi JTFM
Thanks again for sharing all this.
Antares is involved in the Libigel story regardless of CVR payment. This is only my theory but I believe ANI is planning collaboration with them on multiple fronts: lyophilized drugs like vancomycin as well as hormones.
If your theory about Abbvie plays out it will be very interesting because many believe that TEVA is working the strings for Antares.
TEVA and Abbvie staged the fake legal battle to delay our generic Androgel, remember?
Thanks Jeff
Thank you, JTFM. Should be a strong revenue producer.
If we're looking at trends since our merger, EOY is our strongest pps growth. You're the chart guy.
Best of luck all!

I was surprised that any recordkeeping changes with the CVRs would occur without announcement.
As I said before, I can imagine ANI office staff grew weary of explaining CVR details. Then why no message to shareholders about the change?
I realize my post was sort of a buzzkill but I thought it best to share.
There was news this week that T therapy for men supports insulin sensitivity. http://www.diabetes.co.uk/news/2015/nov/testosterone-treatment-could-benefit-men-with-type-2-diabetes-94343013.html
That new car could still happen. Our CEO buying shares this week is a very bullish sign. A new foreign subsidiary is bound to yeild more profit as the leaner, meaner, ANI has a reduced tax bill.
No one is sticking a fork in the libigel story.
I just emailed Rob Schepfer this question and received the following response:
Q:Hi Rob,
Some former Biosante shareholders have reported that their unfunded CVRs, from prior to the merger have appeared in their trading accounts. Are you able to explain why this may have happened?
A:
from my finance group:
This just finally documents their holdings of the CVRs. Prior to this, the only record of who had what was stuck at our old stock transfer agent. This has no other significance.
I think you're right.
Thanks JTFM.
I remember language authorizing modification of the buyback program, if necessary. Doesn't that mean additional shares could be involved?
Even in the short term I want to see what unfolds with the foreign subsidiary. Our CEO is determined to advance.
Thanks JTFM
I plan to hold tight.
It seemed like a certain car salesman on YMB was trying very hard to drive down the pps.
Informative piece about FDA priority review voucher. Congress gave the FDA $8 million extra because of 3 reviews in 2015.

Much appreciated. His professional biography really tells a story!
Thank you Jeff. Agree 100%
I am confident that this company is working very hard on behalf of shareholders.
Thanks BTLSTR
Nice call JTFM.
Thanks JTFM
Good in the sense that recalls often hurt a company's reputation long term. In this case another injector manufacturer: the competition.
The recall was about dosing (injector), not about the drug.
Big EPI injector recall due to faulty injector. Good news for ATRS.

You don't have to cash it all in to have a little party! Lol. A toast to the $100 milestone.
Hope it happens before too long.
Sounds like a plan.

Thanks for explaining the senior note conversion. This is a rough patch but the future looks great.

A get toether in NYC would be great!
Thanks JTFM.

I am hardly a spokesperson for this board. Most who post here are far more knowledgeable about Wall Street than I am.
Rereading my post, I apologize. I should have said our recent share buyback MIGHT be a warning.
Best of luck.
Hi Big B
I don't understand this at all but it just occurred to me that our recent announcement of a share buyback is a warning to shorts against this very activity, yes? If we're going to buy back shares we want a good price.
The pps volativity of this stock seems pretty fake.
Jeff,
Those poor souls who sold...
Aren'tcha glad you didn't miss this!
Have a great day!
Thank you Mr. Przybyl!
Impressive.
You'd have to be crazy to sell this stock!
Thanks Jeff
What I was trying to imagine was the impact on pps of paying CVRs. Hopefully the success of libigel will more than account for the payment of 40-50m to a subset of shareholders.
I agree about resiliency! Have a great week.
Hi Jeff
If our CVRs are about to be paid because of a Libigel deal that would drop the pps, right? New buyers without CVRs would view it as a type of dilution because significant $ would be going only to a subset of shareholders, right?
I noticed that shorts were growing. En masse they are so powerful.
Have you heard of animal rights groups funding their organizations by dropping news bombs about mistreating animals and then shorting the h.. out of the company. It's farfetched I know but I've noticed someone on YMB has been posting about ANI raising swine for the new drug products. If anyone has any real info about that situation please post.
It's a beautiful day here in central NY. Probably nice in the city too!
I love this story about your wife and great food. Thanks for sharing.
Yesterday, during a dark moment I convinced myself that there must have been something bleak in the corporate presentation that I missed. I noticed on page 8 under "Products Aligned with ANI Acquisition Strategy" that eemt wasn't mentioned. I emailed Rob Schrepfor and he got back to me right away to say that eemt wasn't listed there because it was "internally developed" by ANI and not "acquired". I'm just sharing this in case any of you became as loopy as I did.
So anyhow if there was a dark message in the presentation, eemt was not it.
FWIW I believe we have all invested in a great company with top notch management and this will pass. Have a great weekend!
Maybe because our newest deal isn't going to close until January, investors are bargain shopping elsewhere? Biotech looks like Filene's basement.
"ANI to acquire assets through foreign subsidiary." WHOSE subsidiary? This language is intentionally vague. Art could have easily said "a foreign subsidiary that we are in the process of creating" but he did not say that.
Merck's subsidiary? IDT Australia? Abbvie after we've been swallowed?
They were working on the acquisition of these 2 drugs for two years. This is not an act of desperation (as our pps would lead one to believe) this is the very careful execution of a plan.
