TWR chart - Tower Automotive once again, one up day does not mean it's going to run, but a run has to start somewhere, huh? Worth watching this morning IMO.
That's it, I'm done posting charts for this morning. Best of luck to everyone, my you need a ½ ton truck to haul your money around in.
I'm going to hold on to this one for a while, see if it does what I think it's going to do. Interesting business, they have a great website, and the chart looks just right for a pop.
Best of luck today. May you get what you want, and want what you get.

FCAH 3-day chart - word on this POS is they have some good PRs lined up and ready to announce. I bought ½ million yesterday on pure speculation, even if it is the world's biggest POS.
GRIC chart - this one has been as high as 6.00 in the last year. Right now it looks risky as can be, but I thought I'd stick it up here and hope someone makes a ton off of it.
PHYX chart - I like the turning indicators on this one, and there's been an accompanying increse in volume, too.
WHRT chart - showed a little strength yesterday. Buying pressure today could send it on up.... or not. Flota called this one two weeks ago. Hats off to ya' Flota.
CVM chart - this one is so overbought that it's probably all done, but it's work a look for encouragement, if nothing else.
Here's another one I may have bought too erly. Note excellent increases in volume since early December.
In IAO here at .28. I've been premature, I tbink, but I might just have bought at the low in this current consoliaation
I personally am going to add another layer to my tinfoil hat. They DO NOT need to know what I'm reading.
NASDAQ bounced back into the green showing a little strength. Hooray! for all of us that are long in some tech stock or another.
I bought some of this right quick when the market opened for two reasons: Been there done that with this stock once before with excellent results, the other reason is that post felt like a slap upside the head from Buzz.
I just now pocketed a little over $500 on that play. THANK YOU BUZZ.
True, even in a down market you can find a winner here and there.
You just have to be more careful about what you buy, and a darn sight quicker to sell if it goes sour.
The traders on this board with the heavy experience are a remarkable bunch of folks. Not only do they dig out the hidden gems, they're willing to share those finds with those of us that haven't developed those skills yet.
And for that, I'll be forever grateful. Imagine, people that actually care about other people. Will wonders never cease?
Me, too. I've often wondered if I could make money by sending out a letter to the stockholders of any big company, saying that if they will send me a dollar apiece, I won't buy their stock and cause to company to get sued, declare bankruptcy, have the CEO come under investigation, and file an S-8.
If your luck is anywhere near mine, that POS will turn around and bite you, and then run to 3.35 LOL.

Yes, she has a 61 year old sister.... who happens to be single. But she is clueless about trading stocks, so there you go.
Ain't that the truth!! I am doing a lot better of getting rid of the "dogs" that I buy.
Since most of my trading is in genuine, certified POS companies, I've developed the attitude that if it starts down, it's going to stay down & I unload it.
My wife, who is a full time 24/7/365 trader, says that the key to making money is not so much knowing when to buy as it is knowing when to sell.
Watch out for those people with telescopes. I haven't trusted them since a friend down the street told me one day, "Hey, I saw some great views of your anus."
I'm just too hard on myself when I goof up, yet I know that's the nature of the beast when you trade stocks, period.
I don't pat myself on the back often enough when I get a nice runner, or make a really smart call, but I'm quick to fall face-first in the mud when I screw up.
I need to remember that it's just money, and someone else's money at that!
FWIW, dk, I laughed when I read that. But it was subtle & I wouldn't have laughed if I hadn't been close friends with some LDS folks way back when.
Thanks for the info on IAO Buzz. How you manage to find these diamonds in the rough amazes me. You're an awfully good person to share these finds with us.
When I get my new 911, I'm putting "Buzz's Calls" on the front license plate.
Another good move yesterday would've been going long in AMAT. They had a nice gap open this AM folling along in Intel's footsteps.
SMTL still showing some signs of weakness, but if their existing orders in the pipeline pick up (which I'm expecting), that'll spell good news for the entire chip sector.
I can't believe I sold AMAT for little more than lunch-money-profit. I told you I was stupid.
Congratulations on Intel, Doc. Looks like you picked a good play.
Excellent! Another trader I know went long on Intel this afternoon in anticipation... I was really nervous for him.
This, of course, will set the tone for a few days for the entire NASDAQ, in my opinion.
I'm long in SMTL so this is good news for me, too.
I can't believe the zinger that AMD took today. That's a huge gap to fill later. Over 25% at last peek.
Folks, Intel better have some good news or we're likely to take out lots of support levels tomorrow and see a 1,950 NAZ again.
Some spin from briefing.com regarding current economic conditions:
We say: Everyone sell your stock and run for the hills!
They say: broad-based profit taking maintained a bearish bias all day...
We say: A recession could be on the horizon.
They say: A deceleration in growth may be forthcoming...
Buzz, you mentioned IAO yesterday as a potential big story for 2005 & today you picked up more shares. Can you tell us a little bit more about it please?
Thanks.
I kinda thought AMD might find a bottom around $15.00 but it's a good thing I didn't put money on it. It fell right on through and it closed regular trading around 14.96 and is somewhat lower during after-hours right now.
Remember when INTC took a zinger like this last fall? Well, AMD is going to have a 4 dollar gap to fill later on. :=))
When in danger,
Fear or doubt.
Run in circles,
Scream and shout.
Worldwide pants? Yes, that's my size. Do you have those in a charcoal gray?
I was just pulling your leg. I find it makes it easier for me to live with my bad mistakes by laughing about them in public.
Of course, I still cry into my pillow at night.......
That'd be a good move IMO. Of course, the way things have been going for me, if I think it's a good move, you should avoid it like the plague.
That's true, Rig. I still have time to make several more bone-head mistakes.
Speaking of chipmakers, AMD will be looking good at its new valuation by the end of the day.
NO! Go back! Run! I did this last quarter and got my fanny handed to me. It took me 6 weeks to get my money back.
Of course, I'm slightly below a worm in trading smarts...
I should have known better, but I guess once you're stupid, you're always stupid. I bought USXP at high of (so far) day.
Would someone please just knock me in the head & put my money in a REIT mutual fund? Or maybe hunt up a nice 4% CD?
Retirement... no price is too great to pay for retirement!
You & I are real close on our drop-dead-and-retire numbers! I can go slightly less than a dime. Oh eighty four would be fine right now.
Oh, man I feel for those poor folks long in AMD. It bit the big one this morning, down over 20% right now. Not that we couldn't see it coming from a mile off, but that's still a pretty big hit.
