KNDI: sweet.
You beat me Griffy! I just logged in.
Edit: Rhetorical question: are you qualified?
Observant & prescient!
Nice, JJ, very kool.
Very interesting on Alibaba.
I did not know about the payments unit.
Thanks.
Have a nice evening, all.
Rain settling in to the NY metro area, oof.
Beats tornadic activity, though.
OT Question: Can anyone please point me
to bona fide chart/tabular historical
1-year and 2-year US
CD rates, from 2000 to 2014,
either locally or national average?
AAPL: Dynamite trade, congrats!
AAPL: split:
Record Date: June 2, 2014 - determines which shareholders are entitled to receive additional shares due to the split.
Split Date: June 6, 2014 - shareholders are due split shares after the close of business on this date.
Ex Date: June 9, 2014 - the date determined by NSDQ when Apple common shares will trade at the new split-adjusted price.
AAPL: Mike, when is the split effective?
YNDX: Thanks, as I was wondering why the plunge on a decent ER.
Nice bounce off the intraday bottom there,
which I could not play.
Excellent, JJ & NorthPac!
Absolutely, Griff.
Observantly,
George
SPWR: Ham already nabbed it.

GWPH: Nice, Aqua. Very nice.
OT Heard an interesting interview with this professor.
He felt that discourse in the US was rather absent,
not a single public statement from the entire Congress,
while a lively democratic public debate ensues in Germany,
and the US media trots out retired generals to give "analysis".
He was very very concerned that a new Cold War is on,
with the risk of it turning into a hot war,
a US/Russia proxy war in Ukraine.
A fine mess.

MDSO: Thanks Ico, you're always supportive.
Now I'm seeing it go into the 42s,
which I expected; patience long, funds thin.
Tough looking in the rear view mirror.
SANM: Very nice call, Ham!
MDSO: In a little "down here" @ 38.00,
with a sense that this is overdone. *
Earnings miss, but the outlook looks bright.
Growth 20-25%, but PE and forward PE are high.

* Tanked right afterwards into the 37.50s,
now 37.40s, now 37.30s.
Was waiting for that, but gave up the wait.
Thanks.
Gapper SQNS
Maybe some follow-through.
Not in it, not knowledgeable.

Good morning!!!
Good one, PI but funny, Ico.
OT Good luck Ham.
I needs some of that,
but unfortunately still in the research stage*,
and they are not there yet with the technology
to growth your own new teeth,
in your head, from your own stem cells.
In my opinion, dentistry is in its own pain class,
especially when money flies out of your wallet.
Ico, I like the "bobbing bird" metaphor,
the "yo-yo market" is so overused.
I need a "set-it-and-forget-it" stock,
or a "bottomless well" of funds.
* Edit:
Possible within a decade:

I'm obviously not up-to-date on this stuff.
