No it won't.
Overall markets having a good day today. Enjoy!!
Massive losses by AMC holdings in their portfolios will cause some of their money managers to get fired.
Good point. The debt isn't even investment quality and ratings keep getting cut deeper and deeper into junk by Moody's and Standard & Poor's. Default is imminent, and the only true solution is bankruptcy. But then, like Cinemark, they will be looking pretty good. It means existing shareholders will get nothing, but that's life in the big city. Apes need go get on their backs and cross their feet behind their necks, to get ready. Getting loose in advance would help.
There is no such thing as an AMC investor. Just a bunch of dead and starving Apes.
Thanks a lot, BBQ!!
Amen on the systems and boredom thing while grinding out a small advantage over the long haul. I have done far too much of that stuff for one lifetime not to keep it at a fun level anymore.
Reminds me of the 1980s and a small group of probably 5-8 professional pari-mutal dog race bettors who would follow the dogs around the Mid-Southwest U.S. - they got to know the dogs pretty well and they pulled out a lot of cash year after year. During the off-season the same group dealt blackjack and played poker at a few 'social clubs' in Colorado. I learned card counting (6 decks out a shoe) at Larry's Lounge in Commerce City, Colorado. Everybody, including the dealer was practicing counting cards openly. Amazing times, just as personal computing and dial up BBS systems was beginning to take off and everything changed. Finally, after a few years Larry's Lounge was raided by the cops and they got shut down.
A healthy flush of the Apes is what the market needed.
This was last year - institutions buying shares dumped by AA to lend out to the shorts.
Cramer vs. YouTube clown doing a Reddit clown. Drops mic.
Like Cramer sez - the market had gotten frothy (AMC at 4.47 is pretty damn frothy) - so we need a healthy flush.
AMC debt before bank debt.
I'm doing your homework for you. That way you won't be surprised when this craters in the upcoming debt default.
No one with true CSI listens to YouTube clowns.
They have to control the wave after wave of sell orders, otherwise the stock will crash.
But they do lend . . . shorts want free cash.
AMC short = free cash.
And AMC Shorty wonders where's By Golly, the Shit Clown? We need another skid-mark of nonsense spam posts to add value.
You have a distorted view of what CSI is. CSI takes one look at the DEBT and sees a default is coming straight ahead and bankruptcy is imminent. AMC Shorty looks at the share price and sees that it's all gravy. That is CSI.
The Apes destroyed the company.
Great writeup on Taylor, and press conference after the tourney. Someone who has captured lightning in a bottle, and just might have figured out how to do it. Olympics coming up too. I forgot about that.
On second thought, under 47.5 was not safe after 19-19 tie going into OT.
AMC Shorty shorted from $600, $500, and went on to live a life of luxury, smoking $1000 cigars. I doubt many still remember they have a position. It hardly matters.
Along with the Diehard, I have lets see - for this week,10 other lineups all in Draft Kings, including 2-$5 contests, and 6 other cash contests (but no entry fee), and 2 contests that give NFT player cards as prizes, which I use to build/maintain my stable. Now I have 2023 and 2024 player card sets. And I received a free $5 bet which I used on W. Clark to place in the top 20 +140 ($5 returns $12). This all took me about 2 hours to do. Its all the time I really want to spend on it else it stops being fun and starts becoming something else.
Thanks, GLTU as well. Nothing really standing out for me so far that would make me take a deep dive, so I did my standard setups.
Yes and I am adding more weight to experience at a particular course than I used to.
Thanks a lot, logger!
Will have to be judicious going forward - - looking to get the full 7-course dinner whenever Sheff is cookin'
Thanks, Jimmy. I appreciate that.
Thanks, Hugh. Its tough keeping your team on task after they make the cut.
