TULSA, Okla., Nov. 4, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Following its recent recapitalization and strategic refocus, Naturally Iowa, Inc. (Pink Sheets:NLIA) has changed its name to Totally Green, Inc. (the "Company"). The Company's new ticker symbol will be TLGN. The trading name change and the ticker symbol change will be effective November 4, 2010.
In connection with the recapitalization, the Company's management made the strategic decision to lease and ultimately sell the Company's dairy facilities and focus exclusively on its compostable PLA-bottling and ORCA Green Machine.
The Company also acquired the trademark and technology of Totally Green LLC, a privately-held manufacturer of industrial composting reactors based in Marietta Georgia, in August of 2010. These reactors – dubbed "ORCA Green Machines" – can compost the Company's PLA bottles, along with food waste (and other compostable waste) within 48 hours. Accordingly, the ORCA Green Machine and the Company's PLA bottles are natural complementary products for customers looking to adopt sustainable practices and reduce waste. The ORCA Green Machines are manufactured in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
William Horner retains a significant interest in the Company, and has remained as CEO and a member of the Company's Board of Directors. Rob Phillips serves as Chairman of the Board and has been appointed as the Company's President. Mr. Nate Baker serves as the Chief Operating Officer, and Ms. Sherril Harris has been appointed as National Sales Manager, and Ryan Casey serves as Vice President of the Orca division. Corporate headquarters have been relocated from Clarinda, Iowa, to Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Yes, that "Styrofoam to go box" is made out of materials that can be decomposed and plates too. I forgot what material it was made out of though. Cool the machine can turn it into grey water.
I have not seen the show and I'm not sure about 51 billion bottles a year, but it is believable. Yes, we are lazy or uneducated when it comes to our environment. So, the corn based indigo water bottles can decompose in 30 days in the ground that is great news. OR 24-48 hours in the Orca Machine.
My question would be can paper/shredded paper, cardboard or beer cases (paper back) can be used in the machine. I wonder what other products besides food waste and indigo water bottles can be used.
2 videos for the company
Thanks Manti for the info
Try calling the IR for them. Said it was possible it could happen again. That is why I have not added at all.
That is a better average than me. I will try for .3's
I bought from .3 all the way to .485 Should of stayed with the .3's I took a little loss at .4 and might reload now. The .33 - .38 was holding for the longest time.
I had to take a loss. I can never win on these stocks. I have half my shares just in case. What is goin on?
Thanks. I did talk to the company. They changed their website to have more info on the water bottles decomposing. I heard that the bottle can stay intact for a long time, but once the decomposing cycle starts then it slowly decomposes in 30 days. I know the machine can handle the water bottles, food, plates, and to-go boxes within 24 hours.
Found this off another site for an idea of decomposing in the ground.
¦Banana Peel: 3-4 weeks
¦Paper Bag: 1 month
¦Cardboard: 2 months
¦Wool Sock : 1 year
¦Tinned Steel Can: 50 years
¦Aluminum Can: 200-500 years (But if recycled, it can be reused within 6 weeks!)
¦Disposable Diapers: 550 years
¦Plastic Bags : 20-1000 years
¦Plastic Jug: 1 million years
¦Glass : 1-2 million years
¦Styrofoam: 1+ million years
Ready to go! We shall see
I'm holdin for now. I got your PM as well
Pushing higher.
Thanks Nitwit
It would decompose in 30 days or 24-48 hours in the machine.
Little hits are making it go up. 6,800 was by the opening at .04051 and then .041 at 1,000 and now some at .045
LMAO! what a crook.
Very low volume
I'm glad to see that James Ray is still in there.
It keeps going up when I try buying. Fine by me
I like the volume today
Just bought my first shares ever. Been watching this way too long on the sidelines.
That is never right though.
I'm not use to looking at the new name. I finally got a hold of the company and looks like they are doing away with the dairy side of Naturally Iowa, which is good. They see water as a bigger market.
TULSA, Okla., Oct 20, 2010 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) -- The Management Team of Naturally Iowa, Inc. /quotes/comstock/11i!nlia (NLIA 0.05, +0.00, +0.20%) made an important announcement today at their new corporate headquarters. After acquiring Totally Green LLC, a Georgia-based company earlier this year (a company that pioneered research and development of the ORCA Green Machine), Naturally Iowa, Inc. will now be known as Totally Green, Inc.
By combining a fully compostable water bottle with the ORCA (Organic Refuse Conversion Alternative) Green(TM) Machine, Totally Green, Inc. has created the world's first closed-loop composting system, which means that it has the ability to fully compost its water bottles along with food waste, into a liquid effluent, called "compost tea" within 48 hours in an, "earth-friendly", and cost-effective way.
In 2004, Naturally Iowa, Inc. started as the producer of the world's first Ingeo(TM) milk bottle and has now evolved into another first ... Green Bottle Spring Water and ORCA Green(TM) Machine. The combination of the two companies under the Totally Green, Inc. name underscores their new approach to the ever-growing world-wide challenge posed by food waste and oil-based plastic bottles in landfills. A wide range of businesses and other "closed loop sites" are now able to utilize Totally Green, Inc.'s compostable water bottles along with an on-site ORCA Green(TM) Machine method for composting the bottles and food waste, which eliminates the increasing environmental hazards of waste food storage on site, along with the release of methane gas in landfills, while reducing tipping and hauling fees.
Totally Green, Inc. is now headquartered in the Corporate Woods Business Park located at 4500 S. 129th E. Ave. in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and manufactures their ORCA Green Machine in a factory in Tulsa.
"With Totally Green, Inc., we now have a company name that is more reflective of our entire business," said Rob Phillips, President of Totally Green. "Our new headquarters at Corporate Woods, our factory, and expanded professional staff are extensions of our company's commitment to maintain our leadership in protecting our environment with our innovative product line."
A wide variety of organizations nationwide are currently using Totally Green products in their daily operations including government agencies, public and private companies, and university campuses. This system is ideal for businesses with a controlled environment where the consumer is likely to purchase, use and dispose of the product in the same place such as restaurants, stadiums, hospitals, universities, theme parks, military bases, special events, and the hospitality industry.
William Horner, Naturally Iowa's CEO and Founder, and current CEO of Totally Green, Inc. stated that "Totally Green, Inc. is fulfilling the original vision that our organization had at its inception ... to find a way to solve major environmental problems while providing superior products to the marketplace." He concluded his remarks by thanking stockholders in attendance who have continued to believe that solutions could be found while building a financially strong company structure that permits profitability through innovation.
