Yes, you can get that number off of the latest quarterly report Mr. Fisher filed with pinks.
You can also get that number from the Company info tab on pinks.
When you look at the number, please review the prior filed financials as well to take a look at the increase in shareholder numbers.
We are approaching 500, the required number of shareholders to uplist. One thing to keep in mind is that RWE told multiple sources the merger was on hold due to POSSIBLE difficulties in uplisting to the OTCBB.
Well, Mr. Fisher is addressing those by working hand in hand with pinksheets to remove the CE, get current info filed, and make BEHL an attractive vehicle for an additional 110+ shareholders needed to uplist. Seems to me he is not only addressing shareholders' who have inquired about the CE in the past, but he is also addressing RWE's concerns about possible uplisting hiccups.
Being a CPA myself, this interpretation is correct.
Given the recent activity by BEHL to comply with pinksheets, shareholders' concerns regarding the CE (remember, DF took a lot of calls from investors who wanted the CE off) and the activity that has returned to the board, I'd say things are still looking good from my viewpoint. I see we are now given the number for the pending patent, for example.
In uplisting to the OTCBB, isn't it a requirement to have 500 or more shareholders? The latest filings have over 320 shareholders. Removing the CE will allow other investors from brokers that don't allow the purchase of CE pinkies to get in. Maybe this is why DF has finally decided the removal is best if oeprating with a CE can't get you above 500 shareholders.
It takes PinkSheets 1 - 3 business days to review the info.
Today is the third day.
They usually respond with a list of followup questions that need addressing.
Depending upon the size of the additional info requested, it takes another 1 - 3 days to review that info.
Pinks is probably faxing their list of questions to Cano & Fisher today for followup.
I know this doesn't give you a firm date, but that's the process Pinks will go through before lifting the CE.
No, it doesn't make sense as there is a NDA in place required from the customer who purchased the order. As this was the first order placed for nutritional oil, there wouldn't be a number of articles out there to try and determine the connection.
Your guess might be as good as anyone else's except both sides of the JV have confirmed they wish to disclose the name but can't at the client's request. And it isn't for a new energy resource, it is for nutritional oil.
My guess is this is a vitamin and nutritional supplement supplier who is looking to garner a larger market share by placing an order for the cheapest source of nutritional oil. By asking for an NDA, they keep competitors in the dark about who they are working with. Like Wal-Mart used to, any large supplier of oil could place such a large order with BEHL to lockout any competitors from getting their product. And then they can use the strong arm like Wal-Mart does in negotiating prices.
You have your theory, based on the misconception this is for oil. I have mine based on my conversations with RWE & BEHL, the fact this is a nutri order, and my understanding of the uses of NDAs in start up businesses.
Have you called RWE? They have verified multiple times that they are in the process of filling the first orders.
I have an email for Rick two weeks ago stating the crops had been started.
Revenue from the 2000KG PR is right around the corner.
It is possible.
I think the best indications of DF's attentions to costs can be demonstrated by reviewing the financials on a side by side basis to see what all has occurred since Fall of 2008. Or, if you like numbers, go back to the earliest statements filed.
Anyone that does that will stop making the accusation that DF is lighting cigars with shareholde's cash.
Evaluating new technologies, such as the lipid trigger, or new parts, such as the reworked turns would cause an increase in R&D.
The one month between statements shows that over 50% of the R&D cost in the three year period was booked. This is the same month they announced they were testing an accelerated growth tech and had gotten reworked parts in.
Don't respond to shifted goalposts.
She's been posting BEHL hasn't sold anything. Contrary to the statements she uses to list expenses, she tries to ignore the fact that BEHL now has a product to sell.
And is selling it.
Great. Since you are well aware they have just started bringing in revenues during the month of September, why are you posting they aren't selling anything?
Revenue as in sales? Check the latest filing for sales. Top of the income statement. It's started.
Excellent post. Especially your last sentence. Too bad there were some early ship jumpers who used this point from the CC as 'confirmation bias'. Why email info to a shareholder that hasn't been released to the rest of us, especially when it is publicly material?
Thanks to BEHL management to addressing an issue that has been raised numerous times since June. It will be a slow and tedious process to get the CE off but these recent filings prove Dennis is trying his best to do what he says.
Could that be in reference to the 500K from the private investor group based in California?
Looks like I have a call to make anyways...
Thank you for saving me a phone call.
Through my examination of the new F/S, that's what I assumed. Always nice to get a confirmation.
I'm hoping to have an answer to that later today.
Can't call the TA from work and restricted was rolled up into the outstanding total in the 9/30 financials.
There's been no change in capital raising since 8/31 to 9/30.
I've listed the changes in other categories earlier today.
That's why I think a lot of the 80 million is related to the merger possibility and restricted compensation.
More transperancy would help determine a more accurate value or pps for the shares sold or if they've been handed out in relation to acquiring technology, expertise, or capital raising. I agree.
How many of the 80 million were part of compensation packages?
Use of Cash Between August 31 and September 30
Increased PP&E from 134K to 167K (23K)
Increased Prepaid Expenses from 14K to 15K (1K)
Advertising increased 2K
Consultants increased 22K
Prof. fees & legal expenses 5K
Rent 2K
Office expense 4K
Salaries and Wages nearly 16K
Travel and meals 10K
Conferences .5K
R & D 9k (BEHL incurred more R & D expense in this month than the previous eight combined)
Auto .7K
Please not there has been a corresponding rise in A/P of 9K for the month which may be due to a reclassification of accrued expenses to A/P as this account decreased nearly 7K to zero on the latest statements.
Algae-Based Bioplastics Coming Soon

Cereplast develops algae-based bioplastics
By Frank Esposito | PLASTICS NEWS STAFF
Posted October 20, 2009
HAWTHORNE, CALIF. (Oct. 20, 2:35 p.m. ET) -- Bioplastics maker Cereplast Inc. plans to launch a line of bioplastic resins based on all-natural algae by the end of 2010.
“Algae-based resins represent an outstanding opportunity for companies across the plastic supply chain,” Cereplast founder, Chairman and CEO Frederic Scheer said in an Oct. 20 news release. “We believe that algae has the potential to become one of the most important green feedstocks for biofuels, as well as bioplastics.”
Hawthorne, Calif.-based Cereplast currently uses corn, tapioca, wheat and potatoes to make its bioplastics. The firm also compounds Ingeo-brand PLA bioplastic made by NatureWorks LLC.
“It’s critical to have access to feedstocks not based on starches,” Scheer said by phone Oct. 20. Non-starch feedstocks “have less impact on the food chain and are less sensitive to price changes.”
Scheer said Oct. 20 that the algae-based resins could be blended with polypropylene or other standard resins and used in injection molded or thermoformed parts. Cereplast also is working to use the new products in extrusion applications, he said.
Scheer declined to identify what companies Cereplast would use to supply the algae needed for its resins. Company officials pointed out that oil giant Exxon Mobil Corp. recently partnered with algae producer Synthetic Genomics Inc. of La Jolla, Calif., in a deal that may be worth more than $300 million. Oil firm British Petroleum plc also has invested $10 million in algae supplier Martek Biosciences Corp. of Columbia, Md.
Scheer said Cereplast was “very encouraged” by the ExxonMobil and BP deals.
Cereplast also is in the process of finding a toll compounder that would allow the firm to discontinue production at its Hawthorne plant. Officials said earlier this year that it was no longer cost-effective for Cereplast to produce its own bioplastic resins. Scheer said a toll compounder should be in place by the end of the year, making bioplastics based on Cereplast formulations.
Cereplast’s sales for the first half of 2009 were down 26 percent to about $1.5 million. The firm lost $3.2 million in the first half of 2009 after losing $7 million in the same period a year ago.
Cereplast stock was valued at 13 cents per share in over-the-counter trading on Oct. 20. The price has bounced between 8 cents and 16 cents for most of 2009.
Paper Thin Batteries from Algae

Paper-thin Batteries Made from Algae
Imagine wrapping paper that could be a gift in and of itself because it lights up with words like "Happy Birthday." That is one potential application of a new biodegradable battery made of cellulose, the stuff of paper.
Scientists worldwide are striving to develop thin, flexible, lightweight, inexpensive, environmentally friendly batteries made entirely from nonmetal parts. Among the most promising materials for these batteries are conducting polymers.
However, until now these have impractical for use in batteries - for instance, their ability to hold a charge often degrades over use.
Easy to make
The key to this new battery turned out to be an often bothersome green algae known as Cladophora. Rotting heaps of this hairlike freshwater plant throughout the world can lead to unsightly, foul-smelling beaches.
This algae makes an unusual kind of cellulose typified by a very large surface area, 100 times that of the cellulose found in paper. This allowed researchers to dramatically increase the amount of conducting polymer available for use in the new device, enabling it to better recharge, hold and discharge electricity.
"We have long hoped to find some sort of constructive use for the material from algae blooms and have now been shown this to be possible," said researcher Maria Strømme, a nanotechnologist at Uppsala University in Sweden. "This creates new possibilities for large-scale production of environmentally friendly, cost-effective, lightweight energy storage systems."
The new batteries consisted of extremely thin layers of conducting polymer just 40 to 50 nanometers or billionths of a meter wide coating algae cellulose fibers only 20 to 30 nanometers wide that were collected into paper sheets.
"They're very easy to make," Strømme said.
Quick to charge
They could hold 50 to 200 percent more charge than similar conducting polymer batteries, and once better optimized, they might even be competitive with commercial lithium batteries, the researchers noted. They also recharged much faster than conventional rechargeable batteries - while a regular battery takes at least an hour to recharge, the new batteries could recharge in anywhere from eight minutes to just 11 seconds.
The new battery also showed a dramatic boost in the ability to hold a charge over use. While a comparable polymer battery showed a 50 percent drop in the amount of charge it could hold after 60 cycles of discharging and recharging, the new battery showed just a 6 percent loss through 100 charging cycles.
"When you have thick polymer layers, it's hard to get all the material to recharge properly, and it turns into an insulator, so you lose capacity," said researcher Gustav Nyström, an electrochemist at Uppsala University. "When you have thin layers, you can get it fully discharged and recharged."
Flexible electronics
The researchers suggest their batteries appear well-suited for applications involving flexible electronics, such as clothing and packaging.
"We're not focused on replacing lithium ion batteries - we want to find new applications where batteries are not used today," Strømme told LiveScience. "What if you could put batteries inside wallpaper to charge sensors in your home? If you could put this into clothes, can you couple that with detectors to analyze sweat from your body to tell if there's anything wrong?"
Future directions of research include seeing how much charge these batteries lose over time, a problem with polymer batteries and all batteries in general. They also want to see how much they can scale up these batteries, "see if we can make them much, much larger," Strømme said.
The scientists detailed their last month in the journal Nano Letters.
You have confirmation the merger is not happening? Because the CEO of RWE says still in DD phase.
How does what I post make the info out of date?
The merger has not gone throug has of today. RWE confirms still in DD phase.
As of last week RWE confirmed growing the crops to start order fulfillment.
I am assuming if there is completion for an order and no merger has been completed at the time, RWE would need to be compensated for the costs of production. Would you agree if you were filling the order?
Combined purchase orders. They are combining orders for two different products to reach 6 million, not combining orders placed to both RWE and BEHL. That was confirmed by DF on the CC.
This gets back to better PR wording needed.
In the CC, DF stated all of the orders were procured by BEHL.
No mention of the cost of RWE to fill the orders.
Thanks for the laugh, brother!
Thank you for your response. I will see what I can do for you as I do not have PM capability until Happy Hour on Friday.
Greedy, since you have claimed before that this 'credible source' has divulged insider details regarding BEHL and that you forwarded them on to the SEC in the past, what is your take on the latest 'information' this person has passed around, taking into account his new found position?
Did you contact the SEC regarding this latest issue?
Some people will need the keys to the kingdom before the can believe anything.
Why does someone need to see proof of the 6 million dollars of orders when there is confirmation from the teaming partner the crop is being grown to fill that order? Would RWE undertake the project if the order was fictitious?
Please review NDAs and what they can do for a start up trying to earn a slice of a blossoming industry that is undergoing technological advancements at a rapid pace during the last two years and is attracting large research and development outlays from established big board companies.
I hope BEHL continues to respect the wishes of the customers and will divulge names when they are agreed upon by all parties involved in the transaction, not just the supplier.
Merger is DD phase according to RWE.
I stated so in the other post.
According to RWE, merger is in DD phase still and all options are being explored.
Crop is being grown to fill the 2000KG order per email from Rick at RWE.
Can you provide anything to prove otherwise? Like another email from the current director of a different green company?
Good to know it has been confirmed through 2 brokers.
So much for matching orders between buyers and sellers, LOL.
Can I get someone's opinion on this?
Taken from another board:
I had a strange thing happen with my mother's account. I put shares up at .0065 while the ask was the same. After an hour and fifteen minutes and it not getting filled, I lowered it to .0064 while the ask was still .0065. Still no fill for another hour. Then the ask fell to .006 and still no fill. So I called TD and asked them about it.
I was told that in pennystocks, the MM can push any order through regardless of skipping over orders (like my mother's) or filling it. So just because I was in line to fill, they are not required to fill it. This rule does not apply in big board stocks. So I asked, "So the MM's can sell or buy at any PPS they want to regardless of standing orders. Yes sir they can" was the broker's response. He told me that was why Brokers refer to pinksheets as the "Wild, Wild West" meaning not many rules to follow.
I don't think it was PR'd as the shares originated from a third party, not BEHL.
The last PSC blurb was the one in October. When it didn't pop as expected, I assume they sold the remainder of the 50 mill that was left from their pump to .155 and down slide back to that October news.
I would have hated myself for leaving that much free money on the table.
Thank you. eom.
Did you forward that on to DF?
He would have been number 1 in my email chain.
Agreed.
I think the possiblity of the accelerated growth technology is what has kept a number of people from jumping ship. With the focus on algae being fuel, this is the tech that will allow for economically feasible algae fuel production at current crude oil per barrell prices.
With the price of oil hovering where it is and bound to rise in the near future, combining the accelerated growth tech with the lowest cost PBR should draw them in like flies to honey. That's the impression I got from the videos and interviews with ENTK's head chief.
If a signed deal comes through, no LOI but firm contract, for any of the accelerated growth technologies is delivered, I think you may find some people rejoining the fold. The fear mongering email/pm from Barry Baker only shined a light on half of the picture and this would basically confirm that.
Let's hope that means in house development, possibly based upon the 40 years of research Czech has under their belt.
If this is in house developed tech...oh man.
You're not the only one, Razorback.
I bought in at .002 this summer, came to this board, and immediately put BJ on ignore.
cjstocksup was next.
Be nice to see DF release this news next week Wednesday at close.
Let Barry Baker's email/PMs continue to shake the iffys.
