So far we're looking good!!
It'd be nice to see a run into the earnings report on the 14th. Maybe get back to $4.50 or so.
Looks like a better day coming, ETraders.
I can't remember the last time we had two up days in a row.
Let's refresh my memory this week!!!
Good grief!! $3.15 pre-market?
Before I do something stoooopid, do you guys have any thoughts on whether this is a buyable dip? I don't want to end up 9 fingered Suzy - LOL!!
Does ETFC report this week? Which day?
Thanks!!
Well, they're supposed to cut rates on Tuesday.
I was hoping the market would trade up into that and we could get back above $4.
It's like a minefield in the market every day any more.
OT: Found it!!
NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stocks on Friday shed opening gains as word of a possible rescue of Bear Stearns Cos. threw a wet blanket on earlier cheer that came with data showing consumer prices held steady in February.
"Initially, the financing moves were seen as a positive for the credit markets, though now, it appears the Fed has been required to step in in order to avoid the collapse of Bear," said analysts at Action Economics.
That's more than a little scary!!
What the heck happened?
Went into a meeting at 9:30 and the market was looking good.
Just got out and the dow is down 260.
WOW!!
Yeah, but it feels like we live in Alaska.
You know. Where the sun only comes out once every 6 months.
LOL!!
I'll check it out. Thank you!!
We were both right.
NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stocks stumbled Thursday after a fund managed by the Carlyle Group admitted it's close to collapse, dragging down the dollar and boosting oil. Weaker-than-expected February retail sales data also fueled concerns the economy is already in recession.

What a mess!!
Down almost 10% in just two days.
I have to now wonder whether this thing isn't going to test $4.
WOW!!
I was hoping that was all you meant.
It makes absolutely no sense to me that solar stocks are in the garbage at a time when oil is $110 a barrell.
I think the economic numbers were ok.
I heard this is behind the big drop in the futures.
Carlyle Capital on verge of collapse after talks fail
Fund expects lenders to seize assets; to default on remaining debt soon.
Can you elaborate on what you mean by the "stench of solar production"? I have no idea what you are referring to.
Thank you!!
Well, that was short lived.
So if revenues are to go up 5 fold
this year, why is the bounce today so minor?
I read that news last night and thought today would have been a naz top gainer.

JASO 14.58, +2.19, +17.7%) fourth-quarter net income rose to $13.5 million from $10.1 million, a year earlier, despite foreign currency losses. On a per-share basis, earnings fell to 9 cents a share from 11 cents a share, a year earlier, as the most recent quarter had a higher number of shares outstanding. The Chinese solar cells maker said revenue increased to $144.2 million from $47.9 million a year ago. For 2008, the company expects revenue of $990 million to $1.1 billion.
Oh, you're talking options, aren't you?
Oooops.
I don't know anything about options.
Well, volume's picking up.
Maybe later today or tomorrow!!
Nice move today.
Maybe it will get back over $5.
It sure has been beatup this year.
Well, that didn't last long.
Seems like every rally gets sold faster than the previous one. Based on the selling today I guess we have quite a bit lower to go.
Stupid shorts!!
Well, we have a massive short interest and the chart is pretty oversold. The shorts should be a little worried about the moves the Fed has been making over the past week.
Futures are way up this morning.
It should be a good day for ETFC longs.
Hopefully we can get back to $4 today.
I hope they wait until Tuesday. I have my refi application/lock scheduled for 2:30 PM Tuesday.
Besides, I think they already did something extraordinary in the premarket.
Well, today looks like a good day to not watch the markets. We're at $3.54 already in premarket trading.
Any thoughts on how long it will take the new CEO to set up a potential buyout deal? Some speculation about that in the markets would at least help support the price while he can put a deal together.
I saw that ET hit $3.62 last night
in the afterhours trading. Any thoughts on how low this goes in the short term?
Well, I hope you make a bundle on that wager, because then I'll have made one too!!
