AAPL 123.19 up 3.44 The chart is looking decent. It needs some volume on a breakout.
WMS 30.69 up 3.69 had a nice gap opening on strong earnings of 0.43 vs 0.32

Thank you AD:} My first pick was taken and I may have been lucky.
HokieHead:
I do owe you an apology HokieHead.
After replying to your post I scanned your DDRX posts and saw a bunch and then commented on you "love" of the stock. What I didn't do, was notice that your post were either on the DDRX site or on the BB's Stock Haven board.
My bad. You deserve, and have just received, a sincere apology.
Thank you for commenting so that I would take another look.
Thank you for bringing DDRX to our board and please come back:}

Tanker COF is scheduled to report after the close.
DDRX has been taken early.
Gapper QTM Added at 1.31
CAEI is making a move and repurchased at 1.64 after selling yesterday at 1.43
Weaker market yesterday than I expected and a stronger one today.
I'm still nervous because of the financial stocks and because it is about time for some seasonal weakening. I will be playing the market tighter.
Just looked and HokieHead has not been bashful about posting his "love" of DDRX
Thanks HokieHead: DDRX 3.95 up 1.94 on 222,600 shares vs a 50day avg of 30,400 shares. There are only 2.19M shares in the float. Not in but may now on the radar for one direction or the other.
"3/30/09 To sell Gloria Jean's Coffees domestic franchise operations of 102 shops to Praise International for 3.1M"
Chart and some financial info one click back
Yep, I agree Jang. I bought it off the 10 day and one of my favorite buys have been a 45 degree trendline and the pullback to the 10 day.
Nicely done and good luck with the NTES jang. I may join you.
Tanker C
Jang: Have you shorted NTES yet?
Gapper QTM for the last time?
Thanks on the gapper congrats ico. QTM is red now.
An ugly day and it looks like a good day to run for cover. I did that. Still holding EEI and some QTM and they may disappear before this day is over. This was a big loss day and being a bag holder is not fun.
It was fun while it lasted. The 500 was up 28%. Now maybe back to scalping shorts or doing nothing until we get a feel for the coming market direction.
Paul and ico:
Paul, you write "My dislike for Cramer really goes back quite a ways when I was trying to figure all this insanity out and he was one of those perma-quests on cnbc? Actually so was Jimmy Rogers which was really REALLY cool but he was too damn negative and the bubble started so they pretty much stopped inviting him hehe.. but Cramer had shorted a stock and while he was on CNBC bashing it? His partners were covering a short position for a mighty huge profit.. I have no idea how it came to light but it did and they stopped having him on as a guest.. Thats why my blood boiled when I saw him resurface when everyone forgot and the bubble burst was past us etc etc..."
I don't know how his dishonesty came to light either but several years ago I watched him bragging about it. I think it was on Tim Russert's weekly Saturday show. I had been wondering when it would come to light again.
Ico:I disagree with you. People should be wary of others and are responsible for their acts.
However, when it comes to fraud, that no longer holds. Having someone bragging about dishonesty on national tv and having it draw no repercussions is inexcusable. Having that individual hired by the same network on which he proudly confessed is beyond inexcusable.
When they watch a network show or read a "respected" column they should expect honest opinions.
Cramer is a brilliant guy. Cramer is also a fraud and should not be allowed to be on national tv giving opinions. What he is doing now is not much different than what we know he has done in the past. He knows his track record and yet he suckers the innocent.
I don't watch him either other than maybe for five minutes a couple of times a month. HOwever, I have seen BOOYA(sp) t-shirts and have felt sorry for the individuals.
An admittedly naive opinion but at least an honest one.
EEI 14.65 up 1.35 I hesitate to mention this one because the avg daily vol is 4,000, which includes a "big volume day" on Friday of 27,600 share. Probably because of the referenced post.
I think it MIGHT have a bright future. Sequential earnings for the last year:
0.03 vs 0.11 down 73%
0.40 vs 0.24 up 7%
0.35 vs 0.12 up 192%
0.24 vs 0.03 up 700%
Sales up 4% 17% 31% 41%
P/E 13 debt 1% ROE 6%
Shares outstanding 4.09M Float 1.54M
Management owns 37% and funds own 23%
I have a small position. Small because of lack of liquidity.
I should have made an add near the close yesterday but MGM had all of my attention and it slipped my mind. There will be a small add on Monday barring something unforeseen.
I should add that I'm probably batting about 200 on my obscure choices. What strengths I do have, if any, are picking strong stocks in strong sectors and EEI does not qualify.
My current holdings are NTES TNDM EEI CAEI QTM UIS and MGM. I'm a little ashamed to say that all but EEI were chased. NTES and TNDM are proven winners and I'm high on QTM. I sold 1/3 of MGM at the close and might be selling the rest on Monday.
The remaining will probably be held until the market or the stock gives a sell signal. That will be either a subjective choice or they will hit a rather loose uptrending stop.

Very well stated Paul. Thank you.

MGM 5.16 Absolutely no problem ico. It was my trade. I will sell under 5.10 and am not at all concerned about the loss. Assuming that there is a loss.
MGM 5.16 is giving most of the gain back. I'm surprised and now red.
Ok Green under protest. This contest smells of retroactivity to me:)
UIS 1.56 up 0.36 Earnings est of 0.04 this year and 0.09 in 2010

OT; If you don't mind I would rather drink my beer out of a glass. My knees get sore after extended drinking off the floor. Of course, there is the advantage of not falling far.
Gapper QTM again. Probably one day too many but ico took my MGM:)
I'll probably get some UIS based on the article and some further looking. I already have some QTM.
Both for a swing or longer term. They seem too extended to be going for a short term profit.
<edit> No info on OCR ico, and no position nor am I apt to have a position. Only half watching it.
It does seem to be a decent stock though. Good fundies, decent chart and in a good sector although it has shown some weakness of late.
TNDM 27.11 up 1.79 continues on with another bo to the hoil.
Has nice fundies and is #1 in the ibd 100. Obviously very extended now but it could be good for a short scalp or on alert for a pullback.
OCR 27.05 up 1.67 now has strong volume on takeover rumors.

News alert from the WSJ:
News Alert
from The Wall Street Journal
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency issued a finding that carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases pose a danger to the public, setting the stage for a battle over regulations that could have far-reaching impact on the U.S. economy.
Unless superceded by Congressional action, the EPA finding potentially could lead to a wave of regulations across the economy, putting stricter emissions limits on a wide range of enterprises from power plants and oil refineries to automobiles and cement makers.
