my point...
and what about a reduction in Tar?...which wreaks havoc on the circulatory system?
lol...would never short a highly manipulated stock...nor would i buy one unless with Vegas money.
why do you guys pretend this company has this value...you are all playing off of the bogus press-releases and speculation as to where this company "can" go as opposed to where it is...which is nowhere...
its a toy your are all playing with and all hopeing you are not the last to hold the bag...
last time I warned it went from .18 to .10 the same day...
the heavy hitters who are controling this will hit you again and again...and one day it will not recover...
its called "musical chairs"...just dont be the last to buy in or the last to sell...russian roulette...
Hoping for shorts to bring this along is "hopeful" thinking... obviously there are no fundamentals...so its musicial chairs time and as the buyer pool gets smaller...
watch out...
no sales,
no revenue,
no pe,
no growth...
only debt and
only speculation..
bad, bad formula for new entries...and without them ponzi scheme falls...
IMHO...From last conference call ... I dont believe investors should expect any significant upside to earnings since nothing has "launched" since the last cc that would cause this expectation...
With buildout of G2 and stock buy-back I would expect cash to be "at best" the same as last report...but really expect some burn-rate accelleration which should continue until some significant revenue deal announcement.
Look forward to January/February CC to be a non-event unless G2 is launched in the meantime...
Don't see any stock lift-off unless and until "significant event" with revenue attached is achieved.
Comical... 140,000,000 shares at $4.50?... thats a market cap of approximatesly:
$650,000,000...
and what is their:
PE?
SALES?
What is profit margin on each device sold?
I know ... cant let facts get in the way...
Oh...and wait until knock-offs in these emerging markets...
Do the math...and dont wait until the music stops...there will not be a seat for you.
thanks Jolivi...market cap about $25 Million....
sales anyone?
How many shares have been issued, how many shares in the float and what is the market cap?
Are those negative questions?
so over 9000 but under a 1 billion?
so how many shares in the float?
How many freakin shares are in this float? a billion?
its trading...but no action
I would expect we could see buying even sooner... with an EVENT...you never know what the company might have planned regarding big announcement...I am speculating of course...but one would expect some commentary on the event...imho.
Report does layout a very good comparison to APDN... VSUL and APDN...overlap but VSUL infinitely more nimble and dynamic with much greater potential...
APDN does have first mover advantage in Defense ... but doesn't rule out VSUL moving in without the "complications" of APDN...adding to a product, whereas VSUL does not interrupt manufacturing process...
Contacted an Senior Exec. of Major Pharma co... he was not aware of VSUL...he now is...and they will be...
Scott Shaffer came out with his complete analysis of VSUL this AM...very dynamic technology....conference for next 3 days in Toyko should be revealing...IMHO
Consider this competition to APDN and how more dynamic it is:
Shaffer's newsletter released this AM:
In part....
“Everything, and we do mean everything made by nature or made-by-man (diamonds, bacteria, prescription pills, Post It Notes, driver’s licenses etc...) has an invisible fingerprint that is given by nature.
Visualant’s (VSUL) patented technology has found a way to identify these invisible fingerprints. The recent partnership with Sumitomo Precision Products (SPP), and having an Apple engineer now on board will help create various consumer scanning devices utilizing this unique technology. This in turn, opens up a huge opportunity for VSUL and our subscribers.”
And……
“Almost all counterfeiting detection technologies require something to be added (RFID, thread, DNA etc). But why add invisible DNA to an object when a machine readable identifier, also invisible to naked eye, is already present?
"there's no need to add a unique identifier
(manmade or natural/botanical dna)when nature
already provides one. It is part of EVERY
object but it is invisible to the naked eye.”
"Rather than attaching an invisible DNA barcode to identify an item, revolutionary technology is now available that sees the invisible fingerprint ALREADY on ANY (manmade or nature-made) item.
There is no need to add an identifier when one is already present. This revolutionary technology we speak of uses the invisible part of the electromagnetic spectrum to identify, store and match the “color DNA” of EVERY object both manmade and nature-made.”
APDN revenue: $1.83 Million...
Difference between APDN and VSUL might be aggressively addressed at Conference in Tokyo Oct 10th-12th....
Prime time...appears very close...IHMO..
some other areas of consideration from Shaffer:
" Here are just a couple examples that have major corporations already drooling over VSUL’s Spectral Pattern Matching (SPM) technology and how they can incorporate into their business.
- 10 different brands of vodka were lined up. VSUL’s ChromaID™ identified each one in mere seconds.
- 4 vials of white powder were scanned. Salt, baking powder, sugar and cream of tartar were identified almost instantaneously. The brand of baking powder was even identified by the brand!
- ChromaID™ identified the one piece of copy paper in the copy drawer that had been touched"
VSUL technology can Identify the Wine Maker, Blend, Year, Batch....no outside material stamped or added to product or packaging with a $10 scanner, not a $1000 reader like APDN
and does anyone want to discuss..."other" dynamic competition with APDN?
...look at VSUL IHUB page comparing the two companies...comments?
Posting:
VSUL with their SPM technology seems like a much more lucrative situation.
Compare the two.
APDN
640m shares
only detects (Intel chip in batch 102 is authentic)
can only scan man made objects
requires DNA to be added
Scanning done by expensive devices
mkt cap approx $150m
VSUL
-82m shares
-Detects, authenticates and diagnoses (Intel chip number 54334 is authentic and was exposed to radiation)
-ANY object can be scanned
-nothing required to scan
-scanning device to be in hands of many with cheap scanning devices and smartphone app
-CEO has been buying stock in open mkt
-CEO used to sit on APDN Board
mkt cap approx $16m

VSUL...compelling.
perhaps you should research more and find that competition out there that gets the same results without "adding" anything...
when less cumbersome (without introducing "foriegn" materials into product) and less expensive technology is introduced...it will all change...
until amended....
competition out there...going to take the wind out of APDN...
will curtail its market breath...and very soon.
maybe a lateral move into another competing technology...
very true...everyone needs to do own due diligence...and determine that on their own.
ps...hold APDN AND newbe...as I have said...room for both...different ways to get same results...
new technology 3 months from commercialization...no extraneous DNA necessary
Not saying APDN doesnt now have a market...nice niche...but easier one coming to market...
it was reported in a newsletter yesterday...in Forbes in August issue.
different technology, cheaper, easier to use...ends up same place for user...do your due diligence. Not to say not room for 2 players in same space...just saying one is more compelling than the other esp. in certain areas...overlap is huge
dig deeper
and there is.
What if there is an equally, if not more compelling, technology company out there in this area? I believe APDN would still hold up...with the competition...lot of opportunity to share. IMHO
What did it say about APDN?
interesting post and perspective....time to buy more?
Anyone folling Scott Shaffer..."How to find big stocks" his Monthly newsletter just came out.....is he referring to VSUL as the "Next Big Stock"...?
What would happen to APDN if a competing company demonstrates a Technology that can identify a single pill...prescription medicine, and the manufacturer with a simple scanner?
Or identify a chip...the manufacturer, date made with an inexpensive scanner?...no additive to the product for id? hummmm
Or a Cop takes out a mobile hand held scanner and scans "white powder" residue at the scene and id's it as coke,...Hummm
Spoke with an high level Exec friend who worked for Eli-Lilly and AstraZeneca involved with testing new drugs..(Now with a third Pharma)..and introduced him to APDN for his opinion. Said "no way"...unless previously approved by FDA...all drugs on market would have to go though new review introducing "plant matter"
But still a big market OUTSIDE Pharma. ...IMHO...
Competitors of APDN? Scott Shaffer of "How to find Big Stocks" fame is making rumblings about a company with more dynamic technology trading with a market value of 10% of APDN.
He emailed subscribers taht he will be releasing it on his October newletter, any day now....but not yet out. Anyone have a guess which company it is?
