That it is undervalued perhaps. It has a 25m market cap. Isradipine is a 50m dollar drug with a couple makers and Elite has a deal to make that for Actavis one of the worlds largest drug makers.
But if only PPS is interesting to you then I guess this stock is not for you then.
Good luck in the future
I try to help those less fortunate then myself. Whatever I can do to help
Why is it irrelevant?
They have 27 products coming online
2 massive patents worth 1.2 billion
5 or so drugs about to launch from pre-approval inspections in August and methadone contract mfg as well.
Patents are very close. Want to know what the patent examiner told me? You should read up on those and call the patent office.
Lodrane is due to come back soon too
A partner willing to fund half of the PH3 trials for Eli 154 and per the CEO the other half which is a couple million is needed and we just signed a deal to finance 5m which is way more then enough to do this.
We started commercial batches on ELi 216 to either start PH3 or show a partner we can produce this 800m drug in large scale...
and there is a lot more
25% a month would be cool too.
Dr L. Sorry but I disagree.
You can pick your month from which to start I suppose. Obviously if one wants to pretend that the stock is bad, you would pick the peak price that is has hit ans say it is down from there. If one wanted to look at the upside, they would pick the lowest price it was at. Seems you picked the highest price. Why would you use the absolute highest price it has hit in this penny stock arena which you describe as being so volatile?
actually it is up 150% ytd. I find it curious that you find nothing positive about the stocks you talk about and yet talk about them for years on end.
Hey aqua, its me Pagi/Mom22
Also the terms are basically 10% on non convertible preferred shares and warrants to buy shares at .07. Since the current PPS is .10, seems we have a new bottom.
Poormei, as usual you have nothing positive to say ever. It is a good fnancing deal whther you want to admit it or not. And you miss the point of my post which really shows you weren't interested in the first place. My point was, they may get a financing deal in place to show a prospective partner there is little risk in partnering with them. And they still don't have to sell Novel Labs which will only continue to grow in value.
Go read what the CEO stated about Novel in one of the recent conf calls. He offered the information without need to. CEOs aren't stupid about infrmation they let fly. They could run Elite for two years based on what they have now and Novel. Nevermind the 27 other drugs in the pipeline. Heck Lodrane 24 an 24D brings profitability. This is real operational business at work.
Sometimes you get this type of funding to show that you will be solvent for a long time. To show you have access to money if you need it.
If a prospective partner wanted to help launch Eli 154 or Eli 216, but thinks you are a risk because of limited current revenue, they may be hesitant as there would be increased risk.
Having 5 million in reserve, tells a partner that you are not a risk. It also tells your competitors that you are not going away any time soon. competitors can become partners too!!!
By having a 5m dollar insurance policy, a partner can feel comfortable that you will be around for the next few years without fear of losing their sizable investment.
Then you also don't have to sell Novel Labs which will continue to increase in value. Just good business being done here.
Just something I have been thinking about.
The patents are the key. If you can handle the most mundane info and willing to read through it about 5-6x, I encourage you to read the recent submissions for Eli 216 and 154. I think they are very close
They started up commercial batches of 216 which is a precursor to really two possibilities imo From the last conf call.
Either to show a partner that you can reproduce your tech on a large scale or for PH3. Also Elite has an SPA with the FDA for 216.
haha Hike. Me too. I could write a white paper on Elite at this point. I think I have come close a few times...
That is one or two charts there. Haven't looked at this in a while.
The 40mg version went from ~18million units to 58million units
Overall Methadone sales increased 89% from 2002 to 2006.
The 40mg version increase ~300%
All that said, I see Methadone similar to Lodrane as a contract drug.
If TPN can get8 million out of it, I think we can get about 2m as you have now.
It could definitely be a lot more though depending on what the current market is.
I would have to check but I believe I was extrapolating based on the % year over year increase. The numbers are staggering. That presentation has some great info on pain meds on it
I have it as a 60-100m drug in 2006. I posted the link before on Yahoo. I will try to find it
I think thats been there. Its this prior approval approval that is needed.
All I know is that a buddy of mine put in an order for 100k shares that filled a bit to .097 and then sat at 10 the rest of the day. So all of a sudden people were willing to sell in the 9s but no one wanted to sell at 10?
Mostly manipulation imo. Someone has wanted this stock cheap for a long time. The patets are worth billions in drugs and they are very close imo.
I like what they are doing. Its actually pretty cool. All cutting edge stuff, and what some would say represents a lot of the future economy, medicine, fuels etc...
Here is my synopsis
Most of the companies they invest in are cutting edge technologies. A lot of high risk, high reward type companies. some haven't done well in terms of PPS, a few have, some are about even.
I see stem cell companies, developmental cancer drug companies, drug abuse companies, biofuel companies, "green" companies - Mostly cutting edge stuff.
Here are some. A few I know a bit
ACTC - A lot of the folks here know this company. Breakthrough research on blindness using stem cells. Love their tech, a ton of shares out, partner in Korea. They may actually cure a form of blindness
PEIX - Ethanol company. Got the crap kicked out of it last year and then came roaring back. They have been trying to get out of a bit of a death spiral I believe. Stock went from ~.25 to ~1.60 recently.
Another is ImmunoCellular Therapeutics. They have done well since the financing.
Collect interest, have warrants for purchase if the stock hits. Some of these are the kind of companies with 50x price as possibilities if they hit.
What does this have to do with Elite? Really nothing. Money is money. Means nothing towards Elites outlook, fundamentals etc. I actually think what they are doing is pretty cool. My investment strategy has at times mirrored some of this but it is risky. They minimize the risk and have opportunity for huge reward.
Go read about what these companies do for yourself
http://www.sociuscapitalgroup.com/clients.html
Advaxis is another development stage cancer drug company. Price has been even for the most part.
Looking at the companies they are in, its interesting. A lot of high risk high reward companies. Some I really like. PEIX was one I liked a couple months ago and some like it a lot
ACTC is breakthrough stem cell technology as well as stem cell corp.
Another is ImmunoCellular Therapeutics. They have done well since the financing.
A number of them haven't but that is on each companies shoulders.
I see nothing to think there is anything corrupt though. These are some pretty cutting edge companies to some extent
Seems their strategy is to go for high risk high reward type companies. Have warrants to purchase many shares if the stock hits and get paid interest/more shares. Only need one to hit
Has nothing to do with the fundamentals of Elite though
I was wondering if we may need to complete the Vegas incorp prior. I am not worried at all.
Also Epic shares mostly come with purchases. There's another 4m. Elites CSO is the guy developing Eli 216 and is Epics Pres.
They don't need it to stay afloat. Heck they can sell Novel for 3-10 million dollars. Novel keeps adding ANDAs. Go take a look at what Jerry said about Novel in one of the last conf calls.
if I get some time later I may put a list of their companies, symbols and price history from the date they started funding
Its interesting but doesn't faze me. Give me an investment house under constant scrutiny og the FBI and SEC then one no one knows. Curious to see the list of companies under Socius.
The Oxy drugs are monsters so it makes sense based on their recent history.
MM wash trading. My friends order nevr fully filled. 4m traded volume blow 10, then sits there 40k shares at the bid. Never filling. So folks wanted to sell it at .094 but no one wanted to sell at .10. Market is corrupt but the company rocks.
It was manipulated down and is awfully thin at this level. One buy goes in and the stock goes from 94 to 97 to 10 to 1049 in a blink on not a lot of shares. I know the buyer that just bought and his bid is just sitting there not finding a seller.
Not tomorrow, definitely by Monday or Tuesday.
But seriously, just give me a patent and a partner
To me today means that Elite has secured their future. Whether it be through Eli 154 and 216 which I think this financing is geared towards or even just to sustain activities for a a year to get all the generics and contract drugs out the door and substantially grow the generic business with more opioids and other generic drugs.
Even without the branded products (which have a projected 1.2 billion dollar market), the company can make a very substantial living off the 27 or so other products to be made at Elite's facility. Then just keep adding generics like Oxycontin in 2013, etc....Then even get out a 24 hour hydro drug...and others etc. I suspect that is what the classified Mikah drugs are about.
Today was really huge. Not sure if folks fully grasp what today meant.
Same. I like both boards. Yahoo is more of a sideshow at this point but whatever. Good DD if you have the patience
Happy New Year Longs. As things have gotten delayed, they have sort of backed up into this quarter. (Note I am referring to this as calendar quarter). I am actually excited about this. Here is what I expect to see this quarter
Methadone - I really believed we would see this launch by the end of the year but it didn't. We know they are working on it so it is any day now. Hopefully this upcoming week.
Hydromorphone and Naltrexone - FDA Pre-approval inspections completed in August I believe. That was almost 5 months ago. We should see this launch this quarter.
Additional ANDA approved and launched - Also part of the FDA pre-approval inspections in August. I really want to know what drug this is.
Lodrane 24, 24D - I am guessing 50/50 on these coming back this quarter. ECR and Hi-Tech (HITK) have been working on this since 2010. The petition in court was originally asking for a delay until 1st quarter as well for manufacturing so it would seem they saw this as the timeline for approval as an NDA
Patent news - This company has been trying to get these patents through for years. The abuse resistant patent is very very close. I encourage everyone to read the latest submission to the USPTO. Note that this came after they had a conference call with the office regarding the also close extended release patent. Elite has clearly demonstrated that the results of their tech are not only not obvious but actually contrary to the results someone in the art would expect. The patent office agrees with this and Elite has provided the evidence to support it. Patent 12/478,952
The extended release patent is also close. Also note that the tech in the abuse resistant may also provide IP coverage for the extended release patent. 10/951,978 My understanding is that Elite has to narrow the scope of the claim to either be only about Oxy where they can demonstrate with data that the results are not obvious and in fact unexpected or they remove the 40% claim since each opioid would have it's own profile
1st Epic drug will probably go out this quarter as well. The company has alluded to this fact. I also expected this to launch in 2011
Actavis drugs - We should get some news on the launch timeframe on these. Isradipine is the one to watch. 50m market with few competitors.
The most telling piece of data from the company is that they have started commercial batches of Eli 216. Based on discussions with IR as some here have confirmed there are basically 2 reasons to do this. Ramping up for PH3 or demonstrating to a partner that your tech works (no leakage of the Naltrexone)....or both
Note that Elite has an SPA from the FDA and they are likely to perform added trials to show efficacy results with food and folks with sensitive stomachs and such. The tech works.
Bottom line for me as it always has. Show me another company that has this pipeline and this massive potential and is already at PH3 trials for an 800m drug you know has a very likely chance to be approved as it is using existing approved medicines.
This is just 1st quarter and we could also see something on HITKs 100m intermediate or some of the other drugs in the pipeline.
I think they are saying that if they figured out which pharma did this you would know who the potential partner is. I work with overseas customer in my big boy job and I can tell you they do take a lot of vacation. Far more then we do. They work shorter days too
Maybe you should go back and read all the materials and documents Elite has put out since 2007. Did you listen to the conference call when they discussed commercial batches being done? Why else would you do this?
I am pretty sure I have read much of the Eli 216 stuff as far back as 2007. Remember this company was in this phase for ~3-5 years. Seems like they are doing what they said they were doing back then when the stock was on the big boards.
The tech as described is in marketing docs that I have seen too I believe. Really not a concern to me because it just reaffirms what they had said they were doing. Just very exciting that after these years they are finally getting it done.
Looks like we are back on track getting past threats of bankruptcy and doing what they said they would be doing in past PRs, filings, presentations all publicly available to my knowledge.
There is a ton of history with this company. Very exciting times.
Also if you pay attention to what is written there, you will note that while this information seems new, it aligns with what has been released as their plan even as far back as 2007. I suggest you go read through all the PRs and filings going back that far.
The company said they were planning to do many of those things on the recent conference call as well as PRs very far back.
3rd party information on a message board?
If you are so unhappy, then you should sell your shares is all I am saying.
With the products in the pipeline and what we know is coming, I am ridiculously positive on the company.
But you shouldn't put yourself through all that stress. I see you say often that you are kind of a novice investor and some of your questions would indicate that but you have been posting since 2002 I think. Maybe this stock is not for you. Just trying to be helpful
You better sell your shares poormei.
Its the land of OTC stocks, low volume and waiting on news. Fortunately, there is a ton of news.
