Micron Enviro Systems Inc. In Negotiations To Acquire a Working Interest In Travis Gas Field
LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 12, 2001--Micron Enviro Systems Inc. (OTCBB:MSEV) announces that it has entered in negotiations to acquire an interest in the Travis Gas Field.
The Travis Gas Field has recently garnered national recognition on NBC News for the success of the Pale Rider 3-26 Well that was the deepest cased well in Northern California history and tested up to 8.1 MMCF of gas per day. Micron management feels this well may be capable of flows up to 15 MMCF per day. The current participants in the Pale Rider 3-26 include Questar (NYSE:STR), First Goldwater Resources (CDNX:FGD), and Condor Gold Fields Inc. (OTCBB:CGFIF). The well participants have signed a gas sales contract with Calpine Corporation (NYSE:CPN). The partners in the Travis Gas Field are currently reviewing a multi-well drill plan up to 10 more wells on the Field. Evidence of at least 1 TCF of gas in place is apparent for this field.
The Travis Gas Field is less than one mile from the single largest gas field in California called the Rio Vista Field. The Rio Vista has produce over 3.6 TCF of gas to date. The Rio Vista is 100% owned by Calpine Corporation (NYSE:CPN). Micron Enviro Systems management is extremely excited about the prospect of the Travis Gas Field and thinks this is a great fit in the new mandate of the company to become a mid range oil and gas producer.
Work has just recently commenced on its California gas prospect. MSEV has a 5% working interest in 8,730 acres of leased land located in Fresno County, California. MSEV, with its partners Greka Energy Corporation (Nasdaq:GRKA), Condor Gold Fields (OTCBB:CGFIF) and First Goldwater Resources Inc. (CDNX:FGD) are drilling a well on the property that is expected to take approximately forty days to drill. The property consists of 3,480 acres that is a 75-25 joint venture with GRKA and 5,250 acres that is a 50-50 joint venture. The primary target is the Cretaceous Brown Mountain Sandstone Formation. The 3-D seismic data acquired from Chevron, identified four positive amplitude anomalies interpreted rights and interests as potential gas bearing structural-stratigraphic reservoirs. This property is situated between a 503,000,000 barrel oil field and a field that has produced 2.9 Trillion Cubic Feet of Gas and 458,000,000 barrels of oil. This field is adjacent to a blow out well that was estimated to be flowing at 300,000,000 feet of gas per day and took over three years to contain.
Independent evaluations indicate that the property may contain up to 800 Billion Cubic Feet (BCF) of gas. Given the current rate for gas in California of $10 per MCF this prospect may contain up to $8,000,000,000 worth of gas. Given the current price of gas each 1% working interest may be worth up to $80,000,000.00 thereby making the company's 5% interest potentially worth $400,000,000. The company currently only has 7.7 million shares outstanding. Management states "with our small number of shares outstanding coupled with the potential size of this gas target, we are extremely excited about the enormous upside of our company."

Millennium Fuels Corp. New High Octane Fuel with Dolphin's Additive Could Help Solve California's Gasoline Crisis
SAN DIEGO--(AutomotiveWire)--June 12, 2001--BAT International Inc. (OTCBB:BAAT) announced yesterday (June 11, 2001) that its partially owned subsidiary company -- Dolphin Automobile Company Inc. (Dolphin ACI) -- has signed a contract to supply Millennium Fuels Corporation (MFC) with an additive package that would eliminate the lead in fuels while providing superior octane and other performance characteristics without MTBE.
The announcement comes on the heels of a flurry of newspaper and media announcements that the federal government will soon make public its decision not to grant California an exemption to the Clean Air Act.
As a timely coincidence on the same day (June 11, 2001) the front page of many newspapers across the country, including the L.A. Times, read "Gas additive rule won't be waived," "No waive, EPA said." The L.A. Times article said that: "The Bush Administration plans to deny California's request for exemption from a federal gas rule that state officials say would increase already rising prices at the pumps" (see L.A. Times article June 11, 2001).
It could also cost California drivers as much as $450 million a year to replace MTBE with ethanol and could trigger fuel shortages.
The article also stated: "The decision is likely to increase the friction between Davis and the White House, already at odds over electricity price controls. It also would complicate Davis' efforts to phase out the gas additive MTBE (methyl tertiary butyl ether), which has polluted ground water."
Howard Gantman, a spokesman for Senator Diane Feinstein (D-Calif.) also stated: "The state urgently needs the waiver, MTBE pollutes the ground water, and there is not enough ethanol available without a price increase at the pump."
Presently, the only practical solution to MTBE is ethanol. Millennium Fuels Corp. is involved in the development of "Super Ethanol." They have been working with Dolphin ACI to develop a "value added" additive package that increases octane, adds lubricity, improves combustion and could be mixed with ethanol to enhance the value of ethanol as an oxygenate. MFC's "Super Ethanol" has the potential to increase octane enough so that retail gasoline would meet the EPA's maximum RIED vapor pressure guidelines (RVP guidelines). The initial target market for the additive package is the racing industry, which is being asked by the federal EPA to eliminate lead from racing fuel. The initial use of the fuel in the Legends Car Series (800,000 gallons) is one of many racing vehicle applications including other race car circuits, sports boats, competition planes, etc. However, the major market opportunity is to incorporate the additive in a premium ethanol additive package that could be used not only to replace MTBE as an emissions additive but could also be sold as a premium gasoline additive with fuel economy and lubricity benefits.
The Dolphin ACI additive package can be adjusted to create a variety of fuel formulations.
Core Laboratories, a nationally known, certified laboratory has tested and certified several Millennium/Dolphin ACI formulated fuels with octane ratings all the way up to an unbelievable 214 octane.
Joe LaStella, president of Dolphin ACI stated: "With the price differential at the gas pumps of 20 cents between regular and premium gasoline which have a difference of only 5 octane (regular gas 87 versus premium at 92 octane), an octane enhancer such as Dolphin ACI's could have a significant influence on the market. However, it is very clear that our additives would have to pass rigid and expensive EPA testing to be used in street vehicles. Therefore, we are now concentrating on sales for off-road usage and the racing industry usage for immediate revenue."
LaStella also stated that "Dolphin ACI Management is currently in contact with the EPA to map out the most expeditious plans to complete the required EPA curriculum to enter the on-road consumer market."
Dolphin Management believes that there exists a "middle-of-the-road" solution to California's immediate problem, and to eventually get rid of the controversial use of MTBE for good.
Dolphin Management also believes that the proper additive combined with a lower percentage of ethanol in gasoline will not only provide the same emission benefits of MTBE but will also be able to increase fuel mileage and increase octane. Therefore, compensating for higher cost of the ethanol package.
If Dolphin ACI is successful, everyone wins, including the agricultural industry.
Dolphin ACI's partner in the fuel business, Millennium Fuels Corp., is already in the "Super Ethanol" business and has a very competent staff who helped to create our new environmentally friendly, high octane, renewable ethanol racing fuel. The same team will be pursuing the creation of an acceptable fuel formulation to get rid of MTBE forever. One of the best opportunities is meeting the EPA guidelines for RVP in finished gasoline.
Both Dolphin ACI and MFC's Management are dedicated to production of advanced renewable clean fuels to replace fossil fuel usage.

Aastrom Biosciences and Neoprobe Corporation Enter Into Cell Therapy Development Agreement
- Companies to Co-Develop Proprietary Lymphocyte Therapy for Cancer -
ANN ARBOR, Mich., June 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Aastrom Biosciences, Inc. (Nasdaq: ASTM) and Neoprobe Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: NEOP) announced today the initiation of a development collaboration between the two companies for a new immune system cell therapy product to treat cancer. The collaboration will integrate Neoprobe's proprietary lymph node lymphocyte (LNL) cell technology with Aastrom's patented AastromReplicell(TM) System and lymphocyte production technologies, with the goal of producing a clinically usable cell therapy product.
"We intend to assess whether the AastromReplicell(TM) System can provide a consistent and reliable means to clinically evaluate and commercialize Neoprobe's proprietary activated LNL cell technology as an oncology therapy," stated David Bupp, President and CEO of Neoprobe. "Upon a successful completion of our assessment, we anticipate incorporating the AastromReplicell(TM) System into Neoprobe's Phase II study for colorectal cancer. We also intend to evaluate the AastromReplicell(TM) System in conjunction with Neoprobe's cellular therapy programs for breast cancer and to enhance the effectiveness of chemotherapy agents in a variety of cancers. In connection with Neoprobe's development alliance with Cira Ltd., the AastromReplicell(TM) System will also be evaluated in applications to treat viral diseases and immune dysfunction."
"Cell-based immunotherapies for cancer treatment are beginning to show promising clinical results," stated R. Douglas Armstrong, Ph.D., President and CEO of Aastrom. "The field is being accelerated by discoveries of specific cell populations, such as Neoprobe's LNL cell technology, that are therapeutically active. What has been missing, is an effective way to produce these cells in a clinical environment, and in a way that retains a high level of biological activity. It is our plan to automate the LNL process on the AastromReplicell(TM) System toward the objective of enabling a more practical delivery of this therapeutic approach into large-scale clinical development and towards standard medical practices."
Neoprobe has been developing activated LNL cell therapies to treat breast and colorectal cancer. The proprietary LNL process was evaluated in Phase I/II clinical studies in metastatic colorectal patients, most of whom had extensive hepatic disease. Despite the advanced nature of their disease, the treated patients had an extended median survival compared to that which normally would have been expected based upon the advanced nature of the patient's disease. In addition, an improved response to standard chemotherapy agents was observed in the treated patients.
Aastrom is developing proprietary products and processes intended to meet the critical objectives of providing a high-quality, biologically-active cell product through processes that are compliant with regulatory requirements and made accessible at the point of patient care. The AastromReplicell(TM) System platform is being used by Aastrom to develop several cell therapeutic products that are in various clinical trials and studies, including the SC-I stem cell therapy product, the CB-I cord blood cell product, the OC-I bone cell product, and the DC-I dendritic cell vaccine product.
About Neoprobe Corporation
In addition to investigating LNL cell technology as a part of Neoprobe's Activated Cellular Therapy Initiative, Neoprobe manufactures a line of gamma detection systems currently being used for intra-operative lymphatic mapping (ILM), an emerging standard of care technology for breast cancer and melanoma. ILM begins with a patient being injected at the site of a tumor with a commercially available radioactive tracing agent. The agent is intended to follow the same lymphatic flow as the cancer would if it had metastasized or spread to lymph nodes. The surgeon, using the gamma radiation detection probe, may then identify key (sentinel) lymph nodes to be tested for cancer. Neoprobe has begun the clinical evaluation of a proprietary agent to be used in ILM procedures. Neoprobe also pioneered the development of a technology called radioimmunoguided surgery (RIGS(R)) to assist in the surgical treatment of colorectal cancer. The RIGS(R) colorectal technology has been optioned to a development entity, NuRigs, Ltd., which was formed to pursue clinical evaluation of the product and receive regulatory clearances to begin marketing the product.
About Aastrom Biosciences, Inc.
Aastrom is a leader in the development of proprietary cell therapeutics and cell products based on its dual-technology platforms: patented "single-pass perfusion" providing cells with enhanced biological function, and patented GMP-compliant system automation facilitating the delivery of cells for therapeutic use into medical practice. These technologies are integrated into the AastromReplicell(TM) System that is designed to uniquely standardize and automate the processes involved in producing high quality therapeutic cells. Aastrom is developing the DC-I dendritic cell and Dendricell(TM) products for use in the rapidly emerging cancer vaccine market and the OC-I bone progenitor cell product for the treatment of
