SGXI
lowtrade, I hope you read this before responding to my post about SGXI.
I'm probably totally wrong again but here goes...
The closest chart trend I have found is a measured move (bearish), now starting the 2nd (upward) leg.
The slope is too steep to be a flag\pennant???
Consolidation/Retracement: After an extended decline, some sort of consolidation or retracement can be expected. As a retracement rally (or reaction rally), prices could recoup 33% to 67% of the previous decline. Generally speaking, the bigger the decline is, the bigger the reaction rally.
http://stockcharts.com/school/doku.php?id=chart_school:chart_analysis:chart_patterns:measured_move_-...
is this the way to do this?
let's use 50%: I'm using 0.05 as the top, should I use 0.09?
0.05-0.008=0.042*0.5= 0.021
0.008+0.021=0.029
since this is a steep decline, max at 67%:
0.05-0.008=0.042*0.67+ 0.028
0.008+0.028=0.036
I appreciate your input.

The Measured Move is a three-part formation that begins as a reversal pattern and resumes as a continuation pattern. The Bearish Measured Move consists of a reversal decline, consolidation/retracement and continuation decline. Because the Bearish Measured Move cannot be confirmed until after the consolidation/retracement period, it is categorized as a continuation pattern. The pattern is usually long-term and forms over several months.
Looks like I listed Lazlotrade twice, so 89 members, 105 known shareholders
Hi to_profit et al.
Does anyone know how we would initiate a shareholder class action suit?
Do lawyers do this on a contingency basis?
Even if the worst case senario were true, and no real business, contracts, or technology, the corporate shell itself should be worth more than enough for us to get our money back.
If we hold a shareholders meeting and Alex and\or other major shareholders do not show up, are we allowed to vote and make business decisons about the company?
Are we even allowed to call a shareholders meeting?
MBL
Hello everyone.
The amount of board members that have been kind enough to let Lil Jazz post your names and/or disclosed the number of shares held, is absolutely incredible.
The total now is 90 board members and 16 friends of board members.
Total: 106 shareholders
75 of these 106 shareholders have given their total shares held. This is 71%
The Grand Total is: 21,787,354
**note: iseems 2.3 million shares have not been included.

I am not trying to argue or ruffle any feathers but if i choose to do so i can LEGALY short ACMG tomorrow. If i wasn't afraid of more people shorting ACMG i would disclose how it is done. After i exit my current position i will tell anybody who wants to know. There are currently 165814 shares shorted on ACMG.

Please feel free to email me regarding this stock @ chuck_101us@yahoo.com yahoo messenger chuck_101us
Hi mysterymate.
Unless beer'd included your shares in his total, I don't think I have this info.
Don't know if you wanna disclose that info or not.
you can always email me to keep it private:

Hey Penny.
Hope all is well, and you are enjoying your weekend.
Is this stock worth spending my time doing DD on?
I appreciate your input.
thanks,

all the best to you and your family,

hi lowtrade.
sorry for asking you about two stocks in one weekend but I think I found a bottom buster that has been flatlining forever, with little volume, until now.
the past several days volume has exploded, the 5, 10, and 20 MA were all lined up together, and past two trading days pps has gone from 0.002 to 0.006.
Is the run over, or just getting started?

I'm on vacation now.
shoulda left today but gonna wait another day or two
from a stock screener - this one (I think)
http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/markets/screener.asp?exchange=118&screen=1&x=43&y=24
A year or two ago I used to check these in the morning for stocks taking off.
I would buy into the upswing and get "burned" pretty much everytime, 'cause it would usually go down right after I bought.
That's why I am here, trying to learn from lowtrade, to be one step ahead of the retail herd.

Hey Jack.
no, but i sent another email to Joselyn David, and AGAIN she never replied to me.
awhile back people were emailing alex and info@alcarchemicalsgroup.com with large attachments, and leaving voice messages, trying to fill up their email inbox and voice mail. Then waiting to see if someone cleared them out - can anyone give an update on this?
thx,
MBL
Maybe a glitch in the system
both MCCY and LNGT had after hous trades today too
duck, unusual yes, but what might even be more interesting is that we would have closed at 0.0175 if trading stopped at 4:00 EST.
Those afterhour trades made us close higher at 0.018

$9000.00 a day
texasjerry spends that much getting his hair and nails done
I dunno.
My guess is that if we are only trading 500,000 per day, out of a MINIMUM 45 million available to be traded, then it's probably us IHubbers doing most of both buying and selling.
500,000 is not very much volume for a stock trading at 0.018 cents.
That's only $9000.00 a day
Geez jerry.
That's actually a very good observation - kudos to you.
If they couldn't sell all their shares before they fled the country running with shareholder money, where are the ones they did flood the market with? Why are less than 500,000 shares being traded on an average day?

After the TA folded up the Doc and his boys couldn't transfer any more stock to their trading accounts. They probably ran out of stock to sell after glutting the market.
PennyPusher has been using this formula, from some web site, to calculate the working float of a company (I don't know how accurate it is).
WF= (8 day average volume x2)x1.68
WF= 3,895,851/8= (486,981 x 2)= (973,962x 1.68) = 1,636,256
If the above is correct, then there are not many shares available to be purchased these days.
comments welcome. Where are Alex's 68 million shares? I don't think they are for sale.
last 9 trading days daily volume:
2007-07-13--- 580,364

2007-07-03--- 186,465

any comments on why the daily volume seems to have dried up?
R we holding our shares tightly?

GSIEF Effective Float and Volume History
8 day average volume = 1,737,695
Working Float (WF) projected at 5,623,181
Monthly Effective Float (EF) projected at 14,721,489
- - (includes shorts/dilution)
Base Support is estimated at 0.03512
The effective float is waaaaay too high for a float of only 12 million. At most, the EF should be about 9 million or less.
So yes - there is dilution OR NSS occuring
cool.
i am trying to learn chart reading and I like lowtrade alot - he is very good at explaining, knows his stuff, and doesn't seem to mind helping\teaching people.
Anyways, below is the stock I asked him about tonight - you might want to see how he responds to it - the chart looks to have alot of potential

Hi Joe.
I asked lowtrade about SSVG yesterday - he said it was a buy but not enough volume for him.
no recent NR's and they look to have about 7 million in debt so I didn't even watch it today.
It opened at 0.015 and ran to 0.10 closing back down at 0.037 on 1.5 million volume.
I'm not saying buy, but might be worth watching since it retracted - it was already up about 500% in the past week before todays run.
here's my post and lowtrade's reply:

If you had a $100 fishing line in the water and you saw the bobber move with the indicators change. Time to put a second pole in the pond! You could get the 10LB catfish everyone wanted to catch! LOL But one line is better then none, if your after a big fish!
Hi Eric
Thanks a bunch for the PM.

I'll probably take you up on your offer at the end of the summer.

MBL
Hi Lowtrade.
I liked your fishing story ;>)
I hope you don't mind me asking you questions, as I try to learn.
Again, I chose this chart (see link below) because of its learning value, no other reason. Although with a little more volume, it might be a winner - hehe.
Questions:
1) Is this a falling wedge (reversal) and if so, would the past 4 trading days that closed green, be considered a "reversal breakout" even though the pps hasn't really gone up very much at all. Or do we need to wait for a much larger uptrend before the bullish trend is confirmed.
2) You like to use 5, 10, 20 day Moving Averages, the norm I believe, is typically 50, 100, 200, and the person who drew the chart below used 13, 34, and 50.
I assume you choose 5, 10, and 20 because you like to look at short term trends because you are a trader, not an investor.
What advantage is there to use odd numbers like the person who drew this chart?

I disagree with both of you, Pete, and coach.
The critical dates will be end of August when the plant is supposed to be up and running and honouring the contract of AM Polymers.
If we don't hear anything by end of August, then I don't think anything positive will follow.
IMO that ACMG will continue trading without a TA and not be halted like Pete stated. I guess we'll find out in a week or two which one of us is correct. I think the magical date is July 21st.
I also do not agree with coach (although I usually do), that there is any benefit or need for SIAM to drag this out for another 6-12 months.
As for the SAT issues, I think the people and companies that were charged, are related to hijacked shells and phantom shares issued by Sparrow\Wong\Rogers. A plus that ACMG is not on this list.
The charges are also related to some of the named companies issuing fake news releases to pump their stock and dilute. Another plus that ACMG was not charged.
So it might be safe to assume that SAT didn't issue phantom ACMG shares into the market or ACMG woulda been charged with the others.
This does not mean that ACMG has a clean shell, or that this is not a scam. I believe that the Midland\Amyot gang did sell Alcar a dirty shell. I feel this can be resolved, if Alcar was "duped" by Midland and Alex did nothing illegal.
This again, is just my opinion and my gut feeling.
thanks lowtrade.
The only reason I posted this chart was because I though there were pattens I could use, with your help, to learn from - which I did.
I had no intentions of buying this stock, just learning from it.
cheers,
MBL
Hi lowtrade.
I am not trying to be facetious, but would using the charts and TA have seen this 500% increase coming today?
I ask because to me (a novice) it looks like the 5, 10, and 20 day Moving Averages were all lined up before todays pop, and you have been saying that's when to buy a stock.
So, basically, what I am asking is that if you had seen this chart a day or two ago, would you have put it on your watch list, even though it had basically been doing nothing lately.
No NR's yet that I have found.

I agree with you that we cannot conclude that the SEC has finished it's investigation (if there ever was one) of ACMG.
SEC is pretty slow in responding, especially the PINKS

I am going on vacation today, so I just grabbed that info from the IHub IBox.
I am doing this quickly but from my notes I have 56 million O/S.
They sell battery components in China and do quite well (check past revenues).
For some reason they decided they would buy another company and change their business plan. They realized it was a mistake and sold the company they had just bought for like a 3 million loss, which messed up their financials for 2006 and drove the pps down around 0.14.
they look like they are back on track.

NMKT, TCOM and CHID
MBL
beerdup, I agree also, if the following are true (which I think they are)
1) the float is still 45 million
2) the daily volume remains under 1 million shares
I'd like other people's opinions but to me the low volume means that we own over 50% of the float and are holding our shares tight
the low daily volume means that there are no longer (if there ever was) NS issues.
We are still on REGSHO but I agree with the person who posted that this could be due to the fact that we have no TA
comments welcome

coach, that is an excellent question.
I don't have the answer but I am curious to see what opinion others have about this.
If we are the majority, then who owns the other 20 million shares; hopefully SIAM
Thanks Jazz!
