Hello all: Can someone please give me the email address for the t/a. I'am still having problems getting my divi's. The broker tells me they are aware there is a divi but are waiting on a report from the t/a. Maybe I can hurry them up a bit with an email.

Davey: I agree Parkin should be prosecuted for his actions. But don't paint the rest of Canadians with the same brush. There are seedy characters in every country, maybe Montreal (not from there) has more than their share, but lets not forget our buddy's involved with some of the American stock scams. Enron's gang comes to mind as a reasonably good example.

Hi cfpjbs: Sorry don't want to be smart ass but 1 kg is equal to 35.2736 ozs. I'am from Canada and we do speak metric up here. I know your gallon is considerably smaller than ours (never could figure that one out) but I think ozs and pounds are the same. Again not trying to be a wise ass but when are you guys going to figure out that metric system is so much superior to the old imperial system.

Oilspec: I'am not a stock guru like most here, but that would hardly be fare to stock holders that were holders when the divi was announced. What you are saying to do would spread the divi across entire stockholder base. Don't think thats how it is suppossed to work.

OP: Sounds like good way around protecting your cash on hand, however if they can hack into your account whats to stop them from selling off your securities and somehow transfer it to their account or wherever??

Med: Thats what they told me when I asked what the problem was with buying online, however they never mentioned where the hackers were from. If they can get into your account!! That is scary!!

OP: Thats interesting, again I'am with Etrade Canada, don't know why yours went through, maybe because your in USA, mine was for 20k @ .10 ,can't tell if it's been filled or not, I was told it would not show online, I'll have to call to find out later.

jigfish: Thanks for your reply. I'am with Etrade Canada, they are not allowing online buys for aurc. Hope they allow sells when the time comes. It is a pain in the A$$ to have to call and then be put on hold for a while!

Anybody having trouble with Etrade? I had to call there service desk to put in a buy order for AURC. They give me a song and dance about how they were protecting me and other clients from being frauded. However they don't charge extra for using their customer service.

Ibreken: I'am confused here, you say this is nothing more than a pump&dump. Now I'am not the sharpest knife in the drawer when it comes to stocks ,but does'nt that mean that the co. hypes up the share price so insiders can sell at a premuim and leave all us poor sob's holding the bag. If thats true than I say this company isn't very good at it. With the share price steadily rising and still more than a day away from when they said they would disclose the details of the buyout. Why would they send out a pr a day earlier and thefore killing the runup. With the steady climb in pps it would have hit much higher numbers tomorrow and than they could of dumped their shares for possibly 2x what they got today.

Keep an eye on aurc , buyout coming , details will be released after closing on tuesday, looks like it will run before than. Investors on message board are reporting large short position that will need to be covered. reported assets (verified by russian gov.) of 8.5 billion in precious metals, mostly gold.
