Makes sense-Bill is acting "as if".
I believe that the cultivation will be in Robles. The Coachella property-if it is still viable-will be for extraction. No point or no way to obtain the cultivation permit for what will transpire in Coachella.
+25% today
Looks like some big ups in the green sector-here to trade, boys. Line 'em up!
Bingo!
I think Coachella in general is overstated. The real operations are in Desert Hot Springs and involve large indoor grows. Robles is more in synch with what LVVV/GHC is trying to do. IMHO.
Well-said. I must agree that the Coachella falling into the abyss is a bit of a concern. What the heck happened? What is now happening? Paradigm shift, yeah! Robles is a great opportunity, but so much was pinned on Coachella and since the ownership change on Avenue 48 Coachella Brands seems like a fart in the wind.
I'm content knowing that Bill is spending his energy on doing, rather than talking. Eventually the ship will rise to the tide. Up-list will certainly provide more transparency. Bill will have to place the PR machine in capable hands. It is also more credible to have company news disseminated this way, without the CEO bias.
Whatever we paid, the check that High Hampton wrote to us keeps getting smaller and smaller. HH share price has gone from 35 cent range in November to bid 21 cents today.
400,000 shares to LVVV at 21 cents-not even enough to buy the Dodge Hellcat I'm looking at............
Unfortunately, whatever shares we got of High Hampton are shrinking in value quickly. Price is nearly half of what it was when deal was announced. Not the way I would have written that chapter, brothers.

Yes, but it appears to be most-weighted by the Canada companies. I believe the Canadian sector needs/warrants a haircut, whereas US-based companies have been muted-that's going to change next 12 months. Regarding LVVV, the cream rises to the top. Going forward, the expertise they have on their team is going to become very apparent.
Possibly so. If my intuition is correct, the DOW is going to bleed badly tomorrow. May not affect the MJ stocks much, but futs are already way down.
Hi Jackpot-just noting some weakness in the Canadian stocks trading today. Hoping it doesn;t spill over into US tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
Perspective:
LVVV is down about 25% in the last month, US MJ Index is down 30% for the same period. The sector is simply down.
Looking at those July $5 calls for $1.80.
I'm saying that it has nothing to do with what they think or what will happen. Consider restricted share issuance as a LVVV writing a check. The sale of the shares is that check being cashed.
Baby need new shoes.
bmel many times shares are sold because they are issued in lieu of cash. The party issued shares is selling them to realize compensation for whatever reason they were issued shares. This party or parties has no intention of holding the shares for appreciation. Their goal is cash, now.
As a side note to yesterday's SLO meeting, the Chairperson made a comment that, "This is one of the simpler projects we have come across," meaning that the existing structures were completely compatible with the site's ongoing and past operations, as are the rest of the operations such as parking, traffic, etc. The bulk of this 640 acres is cattle land, owned by the Estrella Land Company.
It's nice to set a precedent as a conforming, hassle-free applicant in the eyes of the SLO Planning Commision. Cassidy (the SLO clerk who handled this project), was a good advocate for GHC Ventures at the table there. There was no public opposition, no naes at the vote-the meeting could not have gone better.
I have HIGH hopes for Paso Robles. We are seeing a powerhouse region developing between Monterey and Santa Barbara.
After listening to the hearing, the motion was overwhelmingly passed :) Basically the project was deemed in "compatible use" and can move forward from here.
It is green-lighted for the planning commission review. The property passed the litmus test for Williamson Act Exemption. I believe that the planning commission can approve the permit in lieu of getting the state permit. This was how it was explained to me by the clerk. I may be wrong. If I am, then the state license is next on the hit list.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the Review Committee consider all information presented at the
meeting, review and discuss the proposed project and make the following recommendation
to the decision makers:
The proposed Cannabis Activities are compatible with the land conservation contract and
the Williamson Act (California Land Conservation Act of 1965, Government Code Sections
51238 et seq.).

Interesting that High Hampton is hitting annual lows today. That whole Mojave Jane executive switcheroo probably has a lot of people scratching their heads!
Thanks JD-I believe that the Robles permit is a done deal. The permit PR, if coupled with a statement going forward for the build-out of the operation could be a significant catalyst. The PR's need to be both honest AND elaborate on the FORWARD progress. The permit alone isn't all that sexy anymore-we need to sell our vision.
Cramer said earlier that silence equals selling pressure. Why has there been no announcement of the SLO permit being elevated in status to "accepted for processing"? These small steps are important to shareholder mentality and should be disseminated quickly to the investing public as a courtesy and as good internal reporting practice.
Is it just me?
Friday humor
A cop pulled me over yesterday and said, "Papers, please" To which I replied, "Will Zig Zag 1 1/4's do?"
Interesting to note the language of a permit up for review in San Luis Obisbo County:
A request by Michael Joseph (Rancho Ecomar LLC.) for a Minor Use Permit (DRC2018-00029) to establish outdoor cannabis cultivation on a 139.1-acre parcel. The proposed operation would occur in four outdoor cultivation areas (34,611 square feet) and five hoop house structures (8,600 square feet) for a total of 43,211 square feet of canopy. Cannabis would be processed, dried, cured, and trimmed on-site and transferred to a licensed distributor for processing into medical cannabis extracts.
While many here believe that LVVV'sclones and 7XPure are the lead dogs in this chase, I believe that the extraction and distribution is where the money's at. The companies like iAnthus and High Hampton are stacking vertically to create in-house seed-to-sale funnels. As cannabis becomes more of a commodity, these mid-tier operations may in fact be the meat, the potatoes AND the gravy.
Remember-the profit centers are evolving with the industry. The guys who made it in the Gold Rush were mainly the suppliers, not the miners.

Note that the last PR said,
"Complete package and application completed and awaiting public hearing date from San Luis Obispo county for approval and license. This will be followed with application for state license immediately."
So once the Robles license is in hand we fast-track for the State license from CDFA.
In browsing the State licenses, I see single companies getting MANY permits. SLO Cultivation looks to be assembling a monster. Better get in with these guys somehow.
Also of note, on the Robles application (pg. 11), it states:
Potential to expand to include non-nursery
cultivation after 2019.
I wonder who is going to provide clones to High Hampton when they build out that 10-acre site in Coachella?? lol
Crab this means we are fast-tracked for review at a future planning dept/commission hearing. My guess is early December. Approvals only occur at meetings before the board.
Yes, we are now clear to go before the planning department/commission for review and approval-won't be long now $LVVV

I wouldn't say we "gave up easy", it was as you stated-LVVV didn't have the $$$ to exercise their option to buy MJ. Opportunity lost, perhaps. There are a lot of things I want that I can't afford..........
I'll mod for 10 shares.
I'll let you know. I wish the volume broadened-too thin to do much with right now. I think that the whole entanglement with prior CEO brought a death-stench to this. Maybe the guys from Mojave can right the course. I think that they can. $HHPHF
I think the listing on Manta said that a Cooper owned the business, JD.
Thanks bmel-I'll continue to see what I can find re: second location.
JD I know Halloran has ties to Florida, and I found this online. Is this OUR GHC Ventures? Florida may make sense.

JD I caught that "2 more locations"-has Bill mentioned the other one?
