-Wyoming stands ready to meet our nation's strategic needs-
Considering the recent Federal $$ given to advance ACPIC
Shown in post 55646
Thank you for the kind words, INSMD1
Looks like this $$ will help States build teams to compete for more Federal funding, and eventual long-term clean coal contracts. Wyoming appears to be centering its chances in and around the ACPIC facility.
Good luck amigo!

-DOE Announces Intent to Provide $122M to Establish Coal Products Innovation Centers-
Negative, Cburg
This doesn’t appear to be directed at CCTI.
With an estimated $24MM in grant applications, I’m hopeful we’ll be able to piece some additional news together over the next few months.
I try and keep this board updated on ACPIC advancements.
I found this particular mention interesting due to the fact our pilot facility is partnered with Wyoming’s SER, is in Campbell county, near Gillette (a stones throw from the proposed ACPIC location) and according to recent presentations and UoW confirmation - we have the capability of extracting REE’s..
Possibly. Or perhaps we contributed in-part to one of these amounts..

Thanks for sharing, Betonit.
The original MOU found that west-coast coal exports to Japan from the PRB was imperative to it's success. I'm guessing the recent decision to open the Oakland port could have lead to this partnership update.
It's also important to understand why Japan is coming to Wyoming to test their tech on PRB coal. I doubt it's because their options are limited to this location. It's more likely that they are testing their tech here to perfect the collaborated design prior to signing long-term contracts for PRB's cleaner coal.
Folks may also notice these test surround post-combustion technologies. I'm guessing our nearby pre-combustion facility may provide a cleaner feedstock be used at the Dry Fork Station.
-Design begins on advanced carbon research facility-
I'm sure it wasn't random
It probably is security related.
Either for energy, or blockchain. Maybe both..
Quantum crypto will be a gamechanger.
Access to secure, abundant, clean energy at an extremely low rate would be imperative to it's global success.
Protecting that source would prove vital.
I agree. Seems pretty obvious.
Despite the fact someone said there's no connection between the 2 after making a phone call.
The one I'm still trying to piece together is the possible METC connection.
Their tech sounds a bit too familiar..
SHERIDAN-BASED CARBON TECH FIRM PARTNERS WITH DOE LAB ON COAL-CONVERSION PROJECTS
Great post, JamesE_
With all these NDA's in effect, it's no wonder we haven't heard anything yet.
Looking forward to a stronger Q3!
You're welcome. Let's hope the 5 projects he mentioned along with ACPIC are the same listed on ECED's website.
Let's also hope NEW Growth Alliance is affiliated with the Wyoming NEW Energy Corp.
Projects listed are:
(Ours) Clean Coal Technologies (Project Vanderbilt)
Project Gefion
Project Halen
Project Onkord
Project Samba (all Advanced Carbon Product projects that propose converting coal into advanced carbon products)

Latest ACPIC update
CEO Phil Christopherson shared that they are working on more than $18 million in grants and loans to support existing Campbell County businesses looking to expand their operations and increase their number of employees and more than $6 million on business recruitment for organizations outside of Campbell County.
-E.P.A. Limits States’ Power to Oppose Pipelines and Other Energy Projects-
I'm not sure we'll see the proverbial "green light"
But several things appear to be aligning re Wyoming energy during the 2nd half of 2020.
Here are just a few.
On July 1, 2020, the WIA, the Wyoming Pipeline Authority and the State Energy Office will merge to become the Wyoming Energy Authority (WEA). Specific appropriations for the Advanced Coal Technologies/Energy Commercialization Plan can be viewed here:

BIG things are happening in Wyoming!
Therefore, I share your hope :)
Speaking of potential catalysts, BBB
The DOE is investing $81 million in projects that gasify a mix of coal and biomass.

Our technology is ripe for consideration.
Mid/late 2020 could get very interesting around here..
Good luck!
For those of you doubting CCTC’s connection to India’s gasification interests..
Here’s a follow up document to the company’s September 2018 Twitter posts.

Without news, I'm optimistic this opportunity will present itself once again.
Good luck JB!
Here's another thing that could be a big deal going forward..
CCTC is only partnered with one Indian company - Jindal.
Jindal is the only Indian company with a coal gasification plant. (According to this transcript)
Also according to this transcript, this game changing technology may soon have appropriate feedstock available.

Lol! Greatious postious
Let me get this straight..
Someone loaned the company $$. Got paid back with 3cent shares. Then shared that bargain with us by discounting shares to retail??
What a gift!
So much for the Latin term "skyus fallus"
Lol
Agreed! I don't see this as a delay tactic either.
Good luck!
The recent sell-off is likely a result of DOE delays

Columns showing previous, withdrawn and asserted claims would be a big help. This appears as if World's is withdrawing a huge swath of claims. When in fact they're narrowing the scope due to judges orders. The claims will eventually be max of 3 per patent - 15 total as shown:
* Close of Fact Discovery January 14, 2021. Worlds' Narrowing of Asserted
Claims (No more than 3 claims per patent; 15 claims maximum)
Nice to see them complying!
Tho we're still a LONG way away..
I agree. The only thing we're missing out on is profit!
Lol
