My point was the virus is real, companies working on something covid related are appreciating, the more validating factors (grant not depending on size, peer review data, fda) will only make the stock go up, dilution announcement passed....
i am not looking to discuss things like masks or politics. at a dinner party, you don't bring up politics. Masks is basically talking politics imho. i think the gallup poll i just posted was interesting but not surprising. there are further ways to analyze the topline data to come to further conclusions.
Interesting gallup poll re masks
https://news.gallup.com/poll/315590/americans-face-mask-usage-varies-greatly-demographics.aspx
i don't think it's surprising. it's funny how party identification is now a main demographic. says a lot
i would be interested in seeing the cross tabulations and regressions on some of this data, not just the obvious.
It's not just IPIX
Is the spin to debunk Covid so as to try and destroy IPIX? I guess if you haven't had a direct family member or friend die or have something else happen to them as a result of contracting the coronavirus, then it's fake. It becomes very real, very fast when reality hits.
I remember back in April/May thinking to myself it was a hoax. I knew of no one who had the virus. I live in Boca which feels at times to be mostly NY people. It was weird with all the back and forth traveling, boca barely had any cases. Then in June I had a cousin in NY hospitalized in a coma and needed to have leg amputated from complications. He recovered, but that was the start where the bubble around me starting to get smaller and smaller.
As I reach out to my network of NY family and friends, the real life situations were more real with death and not just comas and amputation.
There are so many companies which were trading in the pennies back in Feb/March that are over $5 or $10 now... or stocks that were trading around $5 to $10 which are trending in the $50 - $100 range.... most of them do not have approved drugs. They all have some sort of data, trial, collaboration, etc... and hopium.
IPIX has been discredited time and time again just like those other stocks. They all saw big pops when they said something in their pipeline might have an anti-covid effect and then when all the debunkers showed up, whether it was company specific or 'the virus is a hoax,' eventually the stocks recovered and went on to higher valuations crushing realistic expectations.
I think the virus is real. When a person who disagreed with me on this topic eventually said he hopes i got the virus and dies, I thanked him for agreeing with me, reminded him of karma and we each went our own ways (by ignoring each other)
Whether there was a grant meeting last week or further trying to discredit Brilacidin progress by claiming the grant would be a small dollar amount, that is not the point. The more validation IPIX receives, whether it be grant, peer review, pre-IND/IND, further supporting data, CDMO updates, collaborations, partnerships, etc.... it will only push the stock up. The worst thing to happen to an OTC is dilution. Guess what, that news dropped July 10th and the stock has recovered.
To anyone who wants to disagree with me, I hope you get the virus. IF your retort is "i have the antibodies," then i want to thank you for proving my point the virus is real. Thankfully it did not kill you like my previous friend wished on me, but at least you confirmed all our suspicion it's not a hoax.
Lol I think that Twitter account said it was Pfizer last week.
You never answered my question the other day when you posted the same information. I am open for being critical of any public company but not by twisting narratives just to make a point. At no point did anyone say the 15th. I posted a link to the 15th with a disclaimer it was the 17th that people seem to have an interest in. I post the links. Its up to each of us to come to our own conclusion and not by distorting info in such a way to make a point.
I don't know. The grant reviews are listed as emergenxy awards and rapid investigation. I just look up info and post here. There are way more experienced people here to answer that
The selectivity index and another cdmo update I assume will be out shortly. Obviously prs can come out where we can read between the lines regarding human trials without mentioning the grant
This actually reminds of a discussion here a few days back as to why the company failed to mention the grant in the past pr. Hmmmmm.... makes one wonder if ipix was instructed not to bring it up so as not to cause a confidentiality breach. Who knows
The 23rd is my birthday. Makes sense to me lol
thanks. i think i recall tulane in both the thursday and friday meetings. not that the reviewers need be reminded of how important RBL findings can be, at least it's unsaid support of brilacidin's data.
confidentiality
I have gotten the vibe long time longs don't want last week's update distorted because failure to see a PR immediately on grant update
I would look at this FAQ - look how strict the confidentiality is and this site pretty much spells it out that you are not allowed to talk to anyone. If IPIX were involved in one of the reviews and IPIX were to issue a PR with a material update, it might be viewed as a breach and whoever leaked the info would be asked to step down from their role
https://grants.nih.gov/faqs#/confidentiality-in-peer-review.htm?anchor=question54090
It looks like on Thursday there was another special emphasis panel (sep) with an emphasis on emergency awards/covid 19
https://public.era.nih.gov/pubroster/preSepIndex.era?AGENDA=398480&CID=100239
Between Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, the probability our grant was reviewed is 99%. Looks like Thursday too was full of microbiologists. I forget the stat I keep coming across stating how many preclinicial therapeutics/vaccines are in development for review. It seems like last week was to expedite the strongest candidates (rapid investigation)
Has anyone cross referenced if any of the universities/institutions listed whether they are listed as an RBL and/or PHRI?
I think a lot of the quiet longs are saying today's meeting was labeled emergency awards. I have not googled what that means in relation to covid 19, but it could mean the wheels get greased a little looser and the process moves much quicker. There sure were a lot of educated people in the industry at today's meeting
There is a lot of confidentiality involved with this process. I sort of remarked on it the other day if the the meeting is held behind closed door and the RBL has an NDA with it's collaborator, then how do we find out? Does it just become public info if a grant app is approved?
This looks like a more detailed link for today
https://public.era.nih.gov/pubroster/preSepIndex.era?AGENDA=398338&CID=100239
as i think those who believe in the entire pipeline at IPIX, Covid 19 has given rebirth to a forgotten company. A lot of the stocks today which are overhyped and reaching for the stars today were just pennies or dollars that barely traded a few months back. No matter what happens today, just konw IPIX was given another chance at the expense of Covid 19
Let's just use an analogy
you are either part of the solution or part of the problem
just like some people say they don't need to wear a mask, they are part of the problem... the rest of the world will be part of the solution.
so either an investor can lock their shares up with a GTC order or they just risk it claiming it's all a hoax
don't forget there is the difference of o/s, restricted, held at dtc and float
NITE has stacked the ask yesterday at .31 with 150k
let's see what happens at the open. sometimes these small gaps on super light volume are headfake to drop the stock. there is some anticipation built up but remember it's a friday. flippers like their beer money for the weekend, unless good news is dropped today
I understand. I was asking what about the link you posted about something else had to do with today's emergency award meeting. Was there something in the pdf link i provided that had specifically, not generally, about the link you replied with. Like I said, i can have very selective vision and might have overlooked the connecting factor.
Or was your point that grants can be small? If so, you also posted a secret saying the size of a grant can be unlimited. I was just trying to see how your link was specific to today's meeting
I think if you read the sticky by NA and reread the pdf link, you might interpret it that our grant might be reviewed today. We know our grant was submitted by the RBL the week of June 11th. The notation about today's meeting was filed on June 19th. One of the headings for today's meeting says 'emergency awards.' I was hoping to see the Brilacidin Selectivity Index PR prior to today as that would be further supporting documentation in the grant application.
Any way we slice it, dice it, chop it, etc.... the RBL and PHRI are proceeding with preclinical testing. The company seems to think we'll be in human trials during Q4. Any other higher exchange listed stock made that claim, the stock would go up at least 100% and continue moving up by leaps and bounds. This has been my comment about why trading on the OTC hurts IPIX. Maybe if one of the SA authors can do a PR on the background how IPIX went from dollars to pennies and now has the chance like many other stocks to regain their footing because one of the drugs in their pipeline might have a anti covid effect helping to support the company's main drugs once covid 19 goes away.
IPIX went from illiquid to liquid due to repurposing Brilacidin for Covid 19... we aren't the first bio/pharma on their last leg to be given a chance and we won't be the last imho due to cv 19
Can you tell me how your link is in reference to the link I posted. I didn't see anything jump out at me but I can have selective vision
Its listed as emergency awards and rapid investigation. I think providing the link provides more credibility to what just may be going on today. I don't even know id it's the right link. Maybe the group of long time longs can confirm but it sure does seem to fit the bill
This was a meeting posted on the 19th of June in refernence to a closed door meeting today to go over Covid grants and the scientific review officer is a microbiologist according to NIH
https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2020-06-25/pdf/2020-13698.pdf
Fingers crossed, toes crossed that the RBL application will be reviewed and given the green light between the July 15th and July 17th closed door meetings
GLTA
i love when i have to dig stuff up. is the meeting the one with inka? seems to fit most of the criteria in your post. glta
I dont think the timing of the meeting is up to ipix. Plus it sounds as if the rbl submitted the grant application.
I assume Leviston purchased their approx 16 million shares around .375
16 million * .375 = +/-$6,000,000
Wouldn't it make sense for Leviston to sell over .375?
Volume looking kinda light today
That's the July 15th meeting. There is another for the 17th
that's obviously a little trickier to dig up. It specifically covers SARS-CoV-2, SARS-CoV-1, MERS-CoV.... sounds a lot like Brilacidin
Expected headlines would be update on cdmo time line. Once we got the iv version of brilacidin for covid 19, then we can proceed with pre-ind or ind
Also the selectivity index is another thing we are waiting on. Any guesses? 152.7? Lol
Can't wait to hear about NIH / NIAID grant updates. Working with the RBL and PHRI have given alot of credibility to brilacidin as a covid 19 therapeutic. Icing on the cake will be a federal grant. The grant hopefully will shed some more light on the recent preclinical positive developments
Good find but that person seems to make a lot of stuff up. Just look at its tweets
Not to get side tracked but the strength in this stock is related to the assumption the grant submitted by the RBL we are collaborating with will be reviewed this week. It can make for some blockbuster prs over the next few days.
it's almost 4pm
There was a closed door meeting today to discuss covid 19 grants
https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2020-06-25/pdf/2020-13701.pdf
I know the more anticipated one is this Friday
(sorry, i don't have a link for that but assume it's along the same lines as the link above)
Fingers crossed. Toes crosssed. GTC set at $20 per share.
http://brilacidin.com/
no longer goes to 3M (at least for me)
i have been known to get blocked
Here is a link to the July 15th closed door meeting
There apparently is another one for July 17th that I have not seen.
This was a public notice put out at the end of June, which seems to be timed with the June PRs... however i am not on the inside track here
https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2020-06-25/pdf/2020-13701.pdf
Notice it talks about researching HIV separate from Covid
Leviston amended their holdings to 4.9% from 5.2%
link is in the ibox - even ihub notates news today
Sometimes those fat finger prints end up being the closing price for the day. let's see how it plays out. thanks for capturing (and recapturing)
IMHO it doesn't matter the dollar amount, unless it's a ridiculous amount. If the grant is approved, it adds validity to a pink sheet stock.
To date the RBL said it was funded by a 3rd party other than B being provided by IPIX
There was a similar meeting June 22nd. It isn't just related to Covid 19
The closed meeting also goes over cancer and HIV, however there is a review of Covid 19 grants at this time
The timing seems to make sense the the grant submitted by the RBL the week of June 11th would be part of this meeting. Since the RBL has an NDA and this is a closed door meeting, how in the world are we going to know if the grant was received. WOuld it be become public at that time?
maybe email one of these peeps and see what they say
