blue- Good point on Market Cap quickly approaching the yearly burn rate. That is not sustainable. Let's hope once Odidi has a plan other than "let's sell more shares"...
wimike and Samsa- Do you guys remember the action prior to all the dilutions? Everyone knew in advance and IPCI was sold down relentlessly. So it will be interesting to see what happens. I still wonder if that volume a week or two ago was someone covering.
I guess people are in the dark right now... Hopefully management finally realized they can't be feeding info to the scumbags that act like their friends. Or... Maybe the MM wants to cover and is not going to sell anymore until he gets most of his short position covered?
Fabius-
Just a guess but I can't see why Purdue would not sue PTE.
A short squeeze would be real nice. I suspect its a ways out though. I think the real straw that breaks camels back will be when Rexista Top Line data comes out later this year. If that all looks good, I believe a very solid partnership deal will be inked.
And yes, IPCI management- especially Odidi himself- have big mouths. They have always given info to these low grade analysts, feeling the analysts will help them. But these bottom of the barrel con artists just feed the shorts(or are the shorts) info. I for one have told IPCI management this is what is happening. Let's hope they finally have listened and are not talking to these scumbags prior to making news public.
Samsa- It will be interesting to see if they fill that order. I guess if they know bad news is coming why not fill it right away???? If they are hesitant to fill, I guess the person selling is not sure????
I spoke too soon. It looks like someone is willing to sell some now.
I think this lack of volume strongly suggests even the MM is afraid to sell IPCI shares. We all know that IPCI news always leaks out... Like you said Doog, tight lips would be a new thing for IPCI... But then again there was big volume 1-2 weeks ago, so it appears someone knows something.
Doog- Doesn't appear to be anyone willing to short or wash trade at the moment.
Fabius- I suspect Dr. Odidi is feeling the pain from his poor management... Whether or not he does anything about it remains to be seen. I do suspect that he won't be CEO for much longer. Now whether he can accept that or not is another question. And whether he sticks around as a scientist to bring the pipeline to fruition remains to be seen as well.
Does anyone know or have any theories how UBS ended up with the shares? I have heard a lot of speculation that this was not by choice. If anyone can explain what happened or have some theories, I am all ears.
Freed- but if they do the rs they have to couple it with significant dilution. Probably sell half company for $10M.
Well what I heard a while back is we would get podras results in first half of year I believe. Could have been stated as mid year too, can not remember exactly what was said though.
Doog - they leave some of the share holders in the dark. Looks like at least one person on here says that patient says it's 10-1 rs coupled with dilution. Sounds about right at this point. A few select people informed, the rest in the dark.
Fabius - so what do ipci by laws say in regards to rs?
Doog- The new BOD seats is the only thing that makes total sense to me now.
Doog- I think you laid out a very good possibility... Institutions are demanding seats on the BOD. I also would like to have somebody other than the Odidi inner circle, cool aid drinking yes man on the BOD.
Blue- Or hopefully lack of volume means no one is selling short at this price.
Sad to see all those 100s of thousands of shares only took the stock to to mid 50s. But now with that buying stopped, less than 100K can take us back down. Pretty sad...
Blue- I am guessing that assumption is correct. That since PODRAS is a proof of concept development, they will announce results when they are good.
The next few months are all or nothing for IPCI. Let's hope that Odidi understands this and it is all hands on deck to get some things accomplished.
Blue- Yes first human trial results should be coming soon.
Blue- I am optimistic that first clinical trials on PODRAS will show promise. But I am not clear what the partnership opportunities will be at this point.
I think we can finally break out of this pattern when the HAP tests show good results. At this point, I believe IPCI will partner with a substantial partner and then the pattern changes. I do not think we shake the pattern until then. I would expect this September/October of this year. I do strongly believe a substantial partner is waiting to see these results. When they do happen, the deal will close. But not before then.
Lots of churning going on... Maybe an approval coming????? Volume is always big before approvals.
Agreed with all RS does nothing. MM out covering as there is going to be some news soon.
Odidi has absolutely no market vision. That is why he is always late to the party. That guy has got to wake up and realize he has no business being CEO.
Doog... Sorry... IPCI is not a key player in any market as of yet. I have no idea on how people see them as a key player for depression drugs... Their two NDA canidates are pain related.
wimike- You missed out on some good fishing... Hopefully later this yearwe can go together. In my opinion, the volume is just wash trades to allow for some preemptive covering before some changes. I am guessing the people doing it know some news is coming- good or bad. They are just trying to shore up so they can short sell the level after the news.
All- Somebody has been using the past offerings to cover shorts. My personal guess is it is Anson or Sabby or both. Will be interesting to see if litigation eventually reveals buyers of these past offerings.
I think it's clear now what role Anson and sabby play here.
Blue - don't know... But they always know. Maybe podras results coming in week or so.
I would say mm is covering as they are first to know news is coming. I think all they know is news, nothing more. Could be podras results very soon.
The manipulation is all related to the offerings, offering buyers, offering sellers and lastly the MM. they are all working this together.
Wimike - yeah wainwright is all about its commission... I am going fishing for next 10 days, so if you are bored you should come meet up with me for a day.
Yes wimike...
If Wainwright really believes this is going to $3, then they should be buying hand over fist. But this low volume says they are not. I guess they have a vested interest to pump IPCI, so they can keep getting the big commissions on the offerings... These are the type of guys that get good info directly from the top and then share it with the shorts(or they are the shorts). There will never be a short squeeze with IPCI as the shorts are the first to know if anything substantial is coming.
Blue- I am guessing IPCI has no partners lined up for PODRAS. However if first human trials show that it works, I am guessing there will be interest.
blue- Best I can tell is PODRAS results will be mid to late June.
