Afraid due to all the taxes we'll have to pay on our profits from this stock? ;)
I completely understand. I agree that that's trading, too. Do I think it's going up? Yes, in time. I think they need more contracts and more concrete results from said contracts before long-term investors outnumber the flippers. Overall, I believe this has great potential, but it's just the beginning.
And I wasn't directing any of that toward any individual (though I did use Bodog as an example). I was simply stating my thoughts as to why people frown on the negative postings.
I'd say that's a good idea. Give it some good thought, with a beer and a hobby...
Sorry, I haven't had the time. I commute quite a ways to work, and am never back in town early enough to schedule a tour within business hours. I've not asked for a weekend tour, yet, as I assume Jared's busy. I plan on getting there, I just haven't, yet.
Just placed my order last night...to still get free shipping. ;)
Although, I live in Ft. Wayne, so it doesn't have to travel far, anyway! Maybe I should have just stopped by and picked it up? heh.
LOL! I'll let him talk, but I don't have to listen to him! ;)
I think there's a real difference, there. It's generally accepted to be positive as it's beneficial for all in the stock. Anyone that's in is making money.
Bodog clearly knows that our portfolios are in the red. Being negative at this point, is only meant to hurt/embarass/harass/etc, as none of us can profit from the downturns (unless you have high enough margin to short...).
That's my take on why no one likes a negative poster. They're only doing it to make fun of those who are losing money or waiting for a lower entry. No one really still believes they're here to "save us from a bad stock," do they?
I think you're forgetting about potential corporate sponsorship. My guess is that total would far exceed the fees paid by contestants.
I figure it's only their computers that need to go down. Indefinitely. ;)
Well, he was at a trade show last week. CEOs can be busy people, too!
Hopefully he's busy giving other companies his autograph.
Sign deal. Get check!
Fantastic! Thanks for the update.
And thank you for the compliments on the car. ;)
Best of luck with the CTA license!
Ah, sorry. I've not checked that email in a couple of days. Oops!
Will allocate today, thanks!
Picked up even more on this little dip. Thanks! Now, let's Rock and Roll!
Speaking of which, I see you aren't able to reply to my PM (though I hope you can read them! hehe.). Are you ready for Allocation?
Yeah...can you say 'anxious?' I won't be able to keep from watching. My work is going to suffer today. LOL.
That's what I'd done, too!
And how far in the future did that come from? ;)
I live in Ft. Wayne with a Marathon close by. Let me know if/when you want me to scout the store for product on shelves.
Wow, looks like someone just got their stop loss hit. And now they're mirror trading.
Meanwhile, I took the opportunity...gobbled up some more at .015.
Go EESO !
Yeah, I just saw that you posted it. I jumped the gun. ;)
Could be awesome!
Yes they are! Actually, Steel Dynamics (also of Fort Wayne) just bought OmniSource...
So between a steel manufacturer and a steel recycler, I think this would be at the top of EESO's list!
haha. Too funny. Coincidentally, I live in Ft. Wayne and work in Decatur...not at Revenge, though. ;)
I know, I know...my deposited funds are clearing! ;)
Where do I sign the petition for them to hold off on new PR's for a few days? I've got some funds being wired in, and won't be able to buy more until Wednesday! LOL!
C'mon...let's go to the moon! But can we take the scenic route until Wednesday? ;)
I see, awesome. There you go, THAT's an idea! btw, USD just went RED....making my trade go GREEN. ;)
GM! Planning on trapping the news at 8:30? I'll be watching...
Yeah, I see what you're saying! That'd require me to be in on a Friday, which is something I try not to do (for lack of volume).
If it hasn't broken by Monday evening, I may have to take a closer look...maybe save some dry powder for that! ;)
Awesome, indeed!
I tend to check http://www.dailyfx.com/calendar to keep an eye out for important news release days and times, for the week. It keeps me from getting surprised by these news-moves!
Congrats on the trap!
Thanks!
Hmm...browsing the front page of CNBC.com doesn't quite give you the insight that the TV channel would. Can't smell the Bernake BBQ through my monitor, either....I wish I had a TV in my office. ;)
Nice! I was long USD/CHF overnight. I was grateful that I tightened my stop loss way up this morning before the announcement. I would have lost half of my profit! yowza.
USD: Jobless Claims wreaking havoc this morning!

I was long USD/CHF overnight...good thing I tightened my stop loss way up this morning, before the news! Half my profit would have vanished.
Good to know that little anecdote! I will remain wary! Thanks.
I just watched that demo, too. Interesting. On the original site, I saw the price as $399-ish, but there was a 75% off coupon code, so maybe just $100-ish?
Apparently you have to sign up with a broker that uses the MetaTrader platform (i.e. http://www.forexte.com).
Thanks, will check it out!
Interesting. I'm not sure what to make of it. The site has a typical infomercial, get-rich-quick scheme, feel to it. That cranks my 'skeptic' dial up a few notches...but that typically cranks up my 'intrigued' dial, too. I like their claims, but that's the way these things work.
It looks like you download software that plugs into the MetaTrader platform and it runs automatically (as long as MT is up and running). But the part that throws a red flag up, for me, is the fact that I'm supposed to do the set up. If that involves defining the robots' entry/exit/stop/profit points, then who's to say that I'll get the right "formula" entered? I could end up losing money just as quickly as they claim I'd be gaining money!
How about 10 of us throw in $10 to purchase it and we have someone try it on a demo account? haha.
Depending on my tax return, I'd be tempted to give it a try...but for the time being, I'll stay away. I just dunno.
Thank you for taking the time to post it. I know you had told da to remind you to post your layout, so I jumped in to serve as the reminder. hehe.
I could immediately see how your layout makes trading decisions more clear-cut than simply relying on the CCI's, as I'd been doing. It felt more like guesswork...."how far oversold is oversold?" etc.
Thanks, again, for sharing!
Yeah, that'd make me wary, too. Ah well, one can dream, can't he? hehe. ;)
For only what...$14k-ish? Is that the Market Cap right now? Wouldn't that be a heck of a deal, even for a shell?
Oooh, I smelled a FOREX discussion on the board, again, and had to read and reply. I, too, have just begun looking into GBP/JPY. Serious potential there!
Dr. Wonderful recently started up a board for that pair alone. Very little activity, as of yet, but it may prove useful if it gains a following. It's here: http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/board.asp?board_id=12139
Like da, I've also been using the rainbow EMA bundle and a couple of CCI's (14 and 48, as you had suggested in the past). As work can be busy, I don't have time to watch closely for quick scalps, unfortunately. So I try to spot a trend on the 30 minute, buy on the 5 minute, and glance at it (over the course of a few hours) on the 5 or 15 minute. I occasionally use the 1 minute chart to fine-tune my entries and exits...getting just a couple more pips that way.
If you have the time, I'd appreciate it if you did divulge your current setup. Thanks!
I've been in on a short since about 8:50EST this morning. Current Stop Loss is guaranteeing 135 pips. Looking for more by end of the work day (another 2 hours, or so)...
Anyone else ridin' the beast currently?
