So it's nothing against lbsr, this is just where I chose to post, the hopes and dreams here are common with gamblers, sorry I mean speculators aka gamblers anywhere else
Bad analogy, on any given Sunday means everyone has a equal chance of success, not true in the mining biz, most have an excellent chance of failure, that's why most lose their money speculating on mining stocks, so LBSR is the norm not the exception, and will continue to be, although like most stocks it can be a successful trade, to quote a successful mining stock speculator, "they are like a burning match, they will burn bright, but if you hold them to long, they will burn you" which is the case with longs here, there and everywhere
Something could be discovered at Hay, but whether it's economic and all of the other complicated equations that must be solved before any ore is pulled out the ground is very remote
As usual with this company everything is so cryptic, something to say has to be deciphered, most are waiting on an announcement by lbsr, something to say can be anything! So longs don't get your hopes up for something of significance it won't happen learn to read between the lines and you will not be disappointed
Most are waiting for something big to happen here, maybe it will, but maybe like most low priced penny stocks it'll just end in a wimper with nothing happing except the promise of what could have been, with just a few dedicated lbsr faithful holders hoping and wishing for a miracle as is the case now
Who makes sense here? Let's see, aren't you the one who was searching for gossans with camels in the desert? Or was that horses? I've made my decision
I find it interesting how JB releases information and posters add to it, and it becomes something it's not, high grade deposit at Hay Mt is the term thrown around now, I am sure JB won't dispute that, but there's no evidence to support it, except wild dreams and speculation
Thanks, nothings guaranteed
The few dedicated followers probably don't care what JB says or does to get them back in the black
That's a good reason to invest I agree, and not on what a friend of a friend said
So we would have to assume that the impartial opinions have loaded up on this ALMOST sure thing right? because last I looked geologist are usually not wealthy people and a penny stock like this who has "the goods" would be ALMOST impossible to pass up? right? and BTW if they own shares they are not impartial anymore, if they don't they aren't that smart, so we come full circle as to why mention third party opinions? you don't, because they don't matter, that's why
Me to, lol
Thank you for spelling it out I am sure will read it and consider it bashing
Some inexperienced investors here actually believe that, and on the company board where views go unchallenged, it's rampant
I hope that quote was from a poster and not the company, however it sounds like more shameless promotion from JB, from discovery to mining ore in 2 years, highly unlikely, but wait, I forgot about the leveler, just scoop it up, take it to the mill and presto! Money is coming in
Oh he has, he's gripped people's money and rip it to shreds
As you can see by the loyalty diplayed here, JB seems to be an excellent salesman, without solid proof of anything he's developed an almost cult like following, fortunately this is a fact based and not a faith based industry and sooner or later the need for proof will catch up with you
But you forget it's under accumulation by yet to be revealed secret investors
Looks the the flight to fantasy land has encountered some turbulence, it's to late now for all who bought a ticket and boarded the plane, it's going to crash, looks like sooner than even I thought, not to worry, a new flight will b available soon
Probably completely innocent, but as I said before there are many ways to syphon money from a corporation you own, many ways other than taking a salary, so when the faithful throws up the straw man that he takes no compensation or defers it, I just lol and say how naive some investors are, that's why Brent Cook calls them lifestyle companies
We'll never know but I owned a unprofitable company (on purpose some years) and I derived a personal benefit from the the bad years as well as the good, so not taking a compensation doesn't tell the whole story sometimes, and we know he hasn't gotten rich, that's the problem in a nutshell, I would want him to get rich so I could to
We'll never know, its shows on his personal tax returns, but I owned a unprofitable company (on purpose some years) and I derived a personal benefit from the the bad years as well as the good, so not taking compensation doesn't tell the whole story sometimes, and we know he hasn't gotten rich, that's the problem in a nutshell, I would want him to get rich so I could to
I'm tempted because that's an easy one, but I'll let the person who it was addressed to answer it
Openly critiquing a publicly traded company, pink sheet or not, for whatever reasons you have is perfectly legitimate, as long as you stay on topic, however over there it's considered a cowardly act and you are actually threatened by one particular poster that they will come after you, however I really doubt that would happen, but just the threat should make a person leery of doing just that
Is it really? JB wanted a forum that he could get his message out on with the help of a few loyalist, so he paid for it
Brings to mind the "emperor has no clothes " scenario, no one wanted to hear it, but in the end everyone realized it was true
Where is this nonsense about a high grade copper find at Hail Mary Mt coming from ? That's pure hype!
What's left is for a bankrupt company to start hurling shares and the bankrupt shareholders to start hurling insults, the company started long ago and between this board and the other one posters r catching up
What about when I called JB on the NPSDP deal? And the thrilla in manilla? The blown out share structure that's even worst now? The 10 property mystery where r they now deals? I was rake over the coals for speaking out on these deals but no deals, so have at it, when Hay Mary bombs out what's left then ?
This property has been marketed for years and passed over for decades that's a fact, and when it's finally drilled you'll see why, as most in the mining business know, the easy stuff has already been discovered
We will disagree again unfortunately, as someone else said Hay is a reject property of the majors, therefore it'll never b a great mine
That's why I have always called this a cult like stock, not based on evidence but on faith, however in life faith is important, but usually in the markets it's the kiss of death, and in the mining business it's suicide
Thank you, my sentiments exactly
The only person on the board who seems to have some knowledge in geology seems to think LBSR has released very little information to come to any reasonable conclusion, and consultants are just that consultants, they would rarely say close up shop you have nothing in the ground, usually with most it's " needs further investigation " aka prospect needs to be drilled, so that's normal, and is not an unusal conclusion, saying all that, where or how do you draw your conclusions that JB is right, I don't see it.
Or it could be a Bear Trap that's moving the price up, but who knows
Did that same geologist scope up some cheap shares of this can't miss homerun, after all LBSR has the goods right? And who doesn't want to get rich? Last time I looked into, a geologist wasn't one of the top paid professions, sorry to say
I also wish the fraud and scam post would stop, but you can claim anything you want I guess, but proving it is anything but easy in court, but in the court of public opinion, JB lost that long ago with most investors big and small, with the exception of the cadre of true underwater believers
You have absolutely the best attitude towards this stock of any shareholder that post here, I've said many times on many boards, those who seek a home run in the stock market Will usually strike out, the long term survivors are those who hit singles, doubles and triples, with the occasional homerun, your attitude is the only winning one for the small investor, it took me 20 years to get there, I want to make money! and if the company can't, they are worth nothing to me
Yes that fits, HAY MARY!
