The Grab website that was posted here today was for Indonesia.
I've been sharing anything and everything I could find with this board for 4 years. If you have info about Grab Thailand then just share it without the attitude. I will email them and post their response. Thanks for the info.
You're joking right? I just posted a direct response from Grab and the answer is no meters on Grabbikes in Indonesia.
Earlier today Col said this:
"Sewer, Grab APP has already confirmed on their website that their taxies, including mototaxi have a FARE meter. And yes I have seen some pictures from joe.
Hmmmm imagine that.
An APP company using fare meters on mototaxies"
And provided this link as proof:
https://www.grab.com/id/en/taxi/
This link is for Grab Indonesia. Instead of speculating and posting rumors I emailed Grabbike Indonesia (Grabbike is different than Grab Taxi) and asked if they were using meters on their bikes. Here is there response:

I know you are new here. I invested $20,000 into this company 4 years ago. I have a lot of reasons for wanting them to succeed. But when someone posts a pic and claims it's proof Grab is using Moto Meters when it's easily verified to be false, I'm going to call them out.
What is the purpose of talking about how successful a non functioning app is?
I just emailed Grab Indonesia and asked if they are using digital fare meters on their bike taxis. In one second I received an automated response -
Grab Support - Grabbike
Dear Valued Customer,
Your request (14684800) has been received and is being reviewed by our support staff.
This email is a service from Grab.
That's what a real company does. One that's actually in business.
I really don't understand this debate about HailYes. Minkman has an Android and tried downloading it. He verified it doesn't work. I forget who the poster was, but someone else here tried downloading it while he was in Indonesia. He too said it didn't work. If you use the link that Col provided to download it, it states you need Google Play to download it and we know it isn't available on Google Play.
But even if all of these weren't proof enough World Moto is no longer a functioning company. No one is doing business with a company that has no way to contact them.
Thanks, you too Mr red sweater man.
The website you posted talks about cars. Not motorcycles.
"We appear to have market acceptance"
Lol. Ok.
You? Nothing. I don't know why you called me weak minded.
I invested in a concept. Which to date according to what we know this company is still just that.
All good.
Have you tried downloading it? Many here have tried and can't. It was available until about 5 - 6 months ago. Now it's no longer available. When it was, the app never worked. I had it on my iPhone and I flew to Bangkok and tried using it. No one here has ever been able to use it.

The Chinese can block it's own citizens from accessing content. There is no FB there either. They cannot block the rest of the world from internet access.
Again straight from World Moto
HailYes™ is freely available for download worldwide, allowing people to simply press a button on their phone and get a safe, affordable ride, or products and services delivered to their door in minutes.

Why would anyone be defending a position that this can only be downloaded in China or Indonesia when World Moto stated the above?
This is straight from World Moto -

No one can contact World Moto. How much more clear can this be?
If the end goal was to wash share holders out, less than one quarter of one penny should be a number that the evil people behind the scenes are willing to purchase at. There are hundreds of millions of shares to be had for anyone willing to buy at the ask. This again is just another World Moto conspiracy theory. I have no doubt I could buy $100,000 worth of World Moto stock without raising the pps much higher than where it currently stands. If someone really thought this thing was about to skyrocket in price then it wouldn't matter if shares were purchased at .0005 or .0025. It's at rock bottom. This is common sense stuff.
Its already been proven that the app is neither functional or downloadable. Any discussion about it being a secret or only accessible in China is ridiculously false. One of our posters here tried to download and use it in Indonesia and it didn't work. I will be in China in a little over a month and I will yet again prove this ridiculous claim to be false. HailYes is a failed app. That's why it is no longer offered on iOS or GooglePlay.
Im sure millions have commented on it. But they commented on a board that you can only read if you live in China. You just have to believe.
No PR's in 11 months. No email communication in 4 months. Not active on social media in 4 months. They have no working email account or phone number.
What else would you call that?
The App does not work. That is a fact.
'Brought forth as facts' - comment of the day.
World Moto sounds like UberMoto. Yes that's a fact. They sound alike.
It sounds like they said motometer in a video not posted in English. Hard to call that a fact when you're guessing at what was said.
Reposting PR's and emails from World Moto. That isn't 'DD'.
It's been debunked, HailYes does not have 5MM downloads.
The only thing that's factual is World Moto has dropped off the face of the earth.
Please explain what World Moto is doing to become such a professional and legitimate company?
Looks like a smart phone meter app.

This whole thing is starting to resemble the movie National Treasure.
Not sure where you are coming up with the video being about a transition from 3 wheels to 2. The video is about Uber launching UberMoto in Hyderabad. If you google UberMoto Hyderabad there are about a dozen different videos that come up with that same video footage of Travis trying to ride a scooter and none of them mention anything that sounds like motometer.
Since its shot in Hyderabad its in their local language. Telugu and Urdu are the official languages there. My bad. Both translate meter to meter. Same pronunciation.
Sorry but I don't see any connection to World Moto in this video.
Indians speak Hindi. Anyone from India should be able to understand that video. It's questionable whether or not they say motometer in that video. I can clearly hear meter. In India Uber charges by the meter. The entire clip is in Hindi and If they were talking about a motometer I would think we would see a motometer in the video. Why would they discuss a motometer without showing it in the video. That's the point of a video, to see the product.
World Moto went from .33 to .0004. So did the market maker goof or are you wrong?
Hell hath no fury like a trader scorned.
I still appreciate you Col.
Ubermoto is more than a year old now. Any explanation as to why none of the current Ubermoto websites state meters are being used? They list every selling feature they have but no meters. If this was in the works a year ago why don't they state they use meters on the Ubermoto website? Why are there no videos anywhere online of Ubermoto motorcycles with meters?
If they sold out who filed the 10Q.
If it is fake news then I apologize for providing it ;)
Point is Uber installed a Pulsar Technologies meter in a car. There is no news that WM is working with Uber on anything. If something happened over the last year regarding Uber using meters on it's motorcycles it would be mentioned in UberMoto's websites. I would hope that much is obvious.

Under the 'How It Works' section of all the sites Uber details what their service entails. None of their services involve meters. Why wouldn't they state a digital meter is being used if this was the direction the company was moving in?
I posted a video today of Uber India talking about their strategy in 2017. The interviewer specifically asks about regulations and meters aren't even brought up.
Seems clear to me that Uber using meters isn't part of their master plan. Here's a video interview of Uber talking about their company and the subject isn't even mentioned.
I'm sure some here will claim that it's in the works and it's a big secret. Which only would verify nothing happened in 2016.
There is a picture online of Tom K shaking hands with Richard Branson. The pps closing at .002 very clearly and obviously means Branson has invested heavily in World Moto. That's what the handshake was. He is manipulating the pps, and will continue to all year, as he needs World Moto as a tax write off. Patternseeker will explain this diabolical plot to you in November. So there you have all the FACTS.
In other news, Bigfoot has been spotted in the Himalayas and from what I understand World Moto has a patent to stick a meter on him. What does it all MEAN.. hmmm.
Why don't you guys tweet Uber_India and ask what's going on with meter regulations there and how they affect Uber. Might be a quicker and more realistic strategy.
The only thing I'm trying to imagine at this point is what it would be like hearing from World Moto again.
I don't tweet. Who has Twitter? Why don't you guys ask @uber_india what the story is with Uber and India's meter requirements?

Uber discussing its business strategy for India in 2017. The use of a meter isn't even brought up in conversation.
China is a non starter. The Chinese don't like foreign companies operating in their country. If there was a market for Meters the Chinese would introduce their own product. Not sure why we're even talking about China.
When a company gets busy it hires more employees. It doesn't disconnect the phone and shut its website down. That statement lacks common sense.
Another conspiracy theory shot down. The pps has been closing within its daily range.
