PM? I do not have PM!!!!!! From MoM in SL. The Licence for last year was paid Late and was not paid until January so as I have said in previous posts the concession has no problems with licence as nearly every one pays late and the MoM gives a bit of lee way. Yes it was due in August but as I say no problems yet.

To PM: My email is on my profile.

Yes, will be good if the new people on the ground get thier act together before xmas and can prospect and process at same time.
On another note: There is a CHOLERA problem in SL at the moment and it seems to be escalating so lets wish the new team on the ground well.
Dredgemaster
To PM, I do hope your Gut Feeling is wrong for obvious reasons.
If you are correct then they will have lost ALL credability in the mining and investment industry and as a person who takes people at thier word, then thiers would be worth NOTHING.
No Disrespect intended here this is IMHO.
Dredgemaster
Thanks.
Dredgemaster
Hi Fangster, the concession licence was for 3 years and should have been renewed in August, therefor the current licence posted on Sunergy web site is out of date? It would just be good PR to post the NEW licence on Sunergy web site.
The last time I elaborated on a PM I had my wrist slapped by IHUB.
BUT, assumptions made on rumor and gossip do not help. I am more interested in FACTS.

To PM, I do not know what warrants such a reply from you.
What I would like to see is: A letter from the Minestry of Mines showing that the LICENCE on the Pampana Concession was re newed in August under Sunergy Inc

Hi ant, most moving parts will ware. Pump Seals, Hoses, Drive Belts and Engine parts.
These dredges seem to be pretty light in weight, have tandem engines and pumps. If 1 of the engines or pumps goes down then you have a problem as they add to the balance of the pontoon.
Most parts will be available in Freetown or across the border in Guinea and those that are not you would make a modification and adapt your equipment.
DHL takes 5 days to deliver to Freetown. If you ship it takes about 23 days from US. The special design of these dredges, if I remeber correctly was more in the FLARED Sluice/wash table, and the portability?
Hope is of some help
Dredgemaster
Not Sure, but it is not uncommon for this type of thing to happen when there is an upper management change.
Dredgemaster
ACTUAL FEED IS THE RAW MATERIAL AFTER OVERBURDEB HAS BEEN REMOVED.
For every 5000 ltrs of water pumped through the dredge you should have 1000 kilo of material.
This will be taken down to about 50 kilo of concentrates (Heavy Minerals) as per PR? and within those concentrates you should have the numbers I mentioned.
NOW!! It seems that due to operatinal reasons that they have pumped the RAW material to the bank and stockpiled this. They also seem to have a lot of concentrates yet to process. THE FACT that they need further processing equipment is not NEW NEWS.
SO the way I see this is: There are the stockpiles with anything between 0.5g/t and 18g/t and there are the concentrates with considerably MORE g/t Au and the REEs. This is how I see the report and it basicaly is confirming previous information from sney from about 8 months ago? (just seems to be worded differently). So I still dont see what all the fuss is about as it seems the numbers have been confirmed by both the old and new people? It seems like only a couple of years ago gold was $350 an oz and was still profitable to mine. With gold at todays prices!!!! well make up your own mind.
Hope that is of some help. Will be going on my travels soon so if there is no reply for some time it is because comms are not easy.
Dredgemaster
Hi handy. At this time I dont THINK Sney ACTUALY know what they have. WHY? The sampling seems to be too small and based on too many variables.
MAYBE THIS WILL HELP. They will have been extracting between 0.5g/t and 12g/t and poss 18g/t of actual feed after the overburden has been removed. Now it is not easy to work out an average untill you have processed a large amount of tonage. WHY?
They have been stockpiling straight to the bank without washing.
Therefore the stockpiles could have a majority of 0.5g/t or a majority of 12 to 18g/t. I have put this down to the fact that they did not want to Wash the REEs down the river during processing JUST for gold? (well thats my thinking not great on REEs)I think they need good processing kit specificaly to pull the fine gold which seems to be abundant and to do it profitably and securely. Me I am a rape and pillage man and will only pull the visable and free gold as fast as possible that my equipment will let me and then move on to another site as REEs is not in my portfolio.
Hope the above makes some sence.
Dredgemaster
The sharks in the board meeting ate all the crocks.
Hi M88, to be blunt, random samples? Content of samples? I have as yet, NOT found a profitable way to extract Fine/Flour gold from black sands or the black left over from washing the concentrates. Yes there is new tech out there, but is it profitable I doubt it. That is why Plants are set up to deal with LARGE quantities of this material but transport and logistics is a costly afair. REEs is another thing and as I have always said I dont know.
An african who has to rely on gold to survive has local methods of extracting the fine gold but it is vastly time consumeing.
The hazen report confirms the amount of gold in the ACTUAL SAMPLE/S. Lets see if they have a METHOD of extraction that will make it profitable.
There is a village called MAKONG 30 miles from SNEY it is primaily a Mining village where all the women when not cooking, cleaning, gardening or selling there market, sit outside thier hut and wash and rewash black concentrates to extract as much gold as possible. No point in BUYING black concentrates from them unless you want REEs.
Magnetic seperation is nothing new, however you have gold stuck to magnetic and non magnetic materials.
The locals are very inovitive and I have learned a lot from them over the years. Even when a mining company packs up and moves on they can still find a lot of gold on the site.
I STILL belive and KNOW that Sney has a Gold bearing concession with the ability to be very profitable.
Hope that is of some help.
Dredgemaster
Whats all the fuss? The only difference here? on the ground is that Dale has moved on? SNEY still have a Proven Gold bearing Concession. Wilf is still working for them? Rember that wilf was AMS? If Wilf is still working for SNEY then SNEY will know EVERYTHING!!!!! Tayyib was AMS and now SNET? There are stockpiles of concentrates containing gold and REEs. Lets get some process pilot plant in there and see EXACTLY what we have. Never liked corporate in fighting, thats why I stay in the bush and just do the work.
GOOD LUCK TO ALL.
Dredgemaster
HI mikey, the only way I can calculate a viable mining site is:
Tons of material throughput including overburden divided by grames of Au recovered after processing. Deduct your costs and see whats left or what you owe. Thats the bottom line. The rest is all smoke and mirrors. REEs I have NO IDEA.
You take care sir
Dredgemaster
Got a contract in The Congo and should be back in SL before Christmas. Will definately look up SNEY then.
Dredgemaster
Wasoom, I think we know each other?
You look after yourself.
Dredgemaster
Otherwise you risk blocking the pipes. think of the weight of material in the pipes. you have to aireate the water and you have to move the material down the sluice.
If not washing the material and directly pumping to bank you may get away with 35% material.
Dredgemaster
The river is a natural sluice and has dips and banks and will continue to trap moving gold as long as it is travelling from a source. Heavy minerals once trapped tend to build up and not move and last years prospecting will still be relavant for years to come and should only get better. This is why companies have proven concessions but dont mine them, they know the gold is not going any where unless someone else mines it.
Dredgemaster
The ideal feed is 20% material 80% water.
Dredgemaster
Hi Wasoom, I have bought gold from Yele to Bumbuna at the Gold Markets and privately. yes you can buy from local artisanal miners and and it is usualy in small quantities between 20 and 100 carats. I still need a Dealers Licence. BUT when I sell I have to show that it came from my concession. Otherwise I have bought it from an ilegal miner. And therefor Not just anyone can buy or sell gold LEGALY. It used to be prety relaxed but the gold industry in SL is now almost the same as the Diamond industry. They are tighting up. Hope that helps.
One other point. Once OVERBURDEN is removed. You then have the black sands and gravel? Grames per ton should then be based on this material not the CONCENTRATES. Otherwise how would you know your costs. The point of prospecting is to find the site with the LEAST overburden and the MAX Black Sands and Gravel with a profitable g/t of Au.
Dredgemaster
Licences to buy or sell gold are restricted to actual named persons within a company and I can not see any company asking for a licence for someone or making them a named dealer who is not there very often. JMHO If you dont have a dealers licence to buy and sell gold in Sierra Leone and you get caught then you WILL find yourself in PADEMBA ROAD.
Dredgemaster
Hi mikey. Do the numbers and then do them again. Measure twice and cut once. How many ton of gravel/black sands through the dredge to get 100lbs of black sands concentrates. How much Au in 100lbs of concentrates or g/t in concentrates? I am now confused as I believe they were getting 3g/t free gold of gravel/black sands going through the dredge after overburden REMOVED, and decided to then take off the top sluice and pump to bank for stockpile and process later. Either someone has been telling porky pies or they simply dont know what they are doing.

Hi Bali, at the age of 59 it would be hard to work for some one else. People like myself are more leaders than followers and I dont mean that in a cheeky way, it is the nature of the work. I am not used to asking people for decisions. I make decisions, right or wrong but at least I do make them. I have told other people and now you should know I will leave SL soon and not return untill after the elections. In the mean time I will go to the Congo as an advisor to a gold and copper company.
If Sney offered me a better deal then I would have to consider it but I am a man of my word and there are very few of us left these days.
Dredgemaster
HI Ant, the way I see it is 2 fold.
1. Some people have lost a bit of confidence for a couple of reasons! Tayyibs appointment as Country Director, and the departure of the AMS team. People remember what happend when David Keilie a Sierraleonian was appointed Country Director of London Mining!!!!
The other side is Wilfred Ulrich who has 9 years experience in SL is still with them and if they get a good country administrator then things will pick up. You can not detract from the fact that they do have a great concession in a proven gold bearing area.
Weather Dale and co wish to stay in contact with Sney must be considdered as a key factor, after all 4 years plus on a concession must give you an insight into its potential?
You take care of yourself and I hope you get this.
Dredgemaster
That is the focus, and I was looking at it from my perspective.
You are correct. The sands will still be there and extraction methods NOW are far more advanced.
Dredgemaster
You have to remember that trees etc: grow 4 times faster than USA or UK. This has fooled a lot of people into thinking they are mining Virgin Claim.
Dredegemaster
If you look at the map, all the light areas (overburden and sand and white clay) are places where they have been worked or are working. The access is relitivly easy and to be honest it looks as if most of the area has already been mined.
Dredgemaster
The area, east and west of the Bumbuna/Magburaka road is all prime and proven gold bearing and includes the Rivers Rokel and Pampana. I like the N/E area as it is more difficult to access and therefore more chance of finding virgin dig.
Dredgemaster
Hi Bali, Yes in SL but to engrossed in my own work to tqake time out to visit Magburaka. The weather here at the moment, combined with the roads is making it hard work and has brought most mining companies to a standstill. I am south and east of SNEY on the SEWA and it is easier to get to Bo than Magburaka.
Dredgemaster
scuba, we have been conversing about SNEY/AMS for a long time and I think you know by now and as I have previously said in posts, that if I have factual info on SNEY, good, or bad I would post it and let you make up your own minds.
Dredgemaster
Dont worry, be Happy. Nothing Defensive there. Just dont like you.
FACTS, FACTS, FACTS, if you have any FACTS or info on SNEY I would be gratefull if you would share. If all you have is assumptions then please state. Take care and good luck.

Understandable.

What a NURD,
THanks ant, got it and have been reading it but to be honest it is nothing new. The best thing it it is that the MMS (Ministery of Mineral Resources has NO employees in thier Environmental Department and rely on NGOs to inform the government of any breaches. (Nothing like free labor). Looks like it is from info from 2008 and is a great history. Will not affect anything sney are doing. GLTY. Thanks again.
Dredgemaster
Hi r2g2great that telling people that Dale is contactable can cause such a stirr. I hope people are not influenced by such a small amount of info and if they are maybe they should not be here?

Hi stokes, hope my other posts have cleared things up. Perhaps in future I should keep things to myself. But I just thought people would like to know that Dale was contactable.

Scuba, I DO NOT HAVE ANY INSIDE INFORMATION PERIOD. The email was ment for his family and friends and I believe it was sent to me by mistake. It had no information about SNEY. And as I have said the point was that he is contactable. One thing I will say is that shareholders should also be thinking about a man with exceptional skills who like me can dive to 35ft and work BLIND all day long on the end of a suction hose so that shareholders can benifit from his hard work. That person is Dale and I believe he has been in SL for 5 years now.
Dredgemaster
To ALLThe email I recieved from Dale was of a personal nature and was ment for family and friends. I believe it was also sent to me by mistake. The point is: He is contactable.
Dredgemaster
To PM: FYI, and all. I recieved an email from Dale B TODAY. As did 23 other people that he forwarded it to. I am not prepared to discuss it but perhaps some one here could confirme this ?
