Why don't you reply to the actual issues i am raising? NAMELY:
Total lack of transparency
No way to know if CEO and Insiders own shares
No response ever to phone calls or emails
No conference calls
Does this matter to you? If not, why not?
Please get this to Dianne in advance of the call!!!
This company does not answer the phone, does not return emails, does not hold conference calls and does not say anywhere what are the share holdings (IF ANY) of the CEO and/or other Insiders. TOTAL LACK OF TRANSPARENCY!
Does any of this matter to anyone on this board?????
Looks like no one here cares whether insiders own shares or not. Unbelievable that this info is not posted. Also unbelievable that no one seems to care.
The main thing is, we need to hear from the company that all is well. To stop the bleeding.
I agree. Maybe we should all call and/or write Dianne, strongly requesting some kind of statement from the company.
Also, when is the next CC? Couldn't they announce the date right now?
They don't answer the phone or reply to emails. That is why i am asking the board. There are people here who have posted a gazillion times how great EFFI is. Surely one of them would know whether insiders are owners of shares.
WILL SOMEONE PLEASE REPLY WITH INFO???? This is a crucial question.
THE QUESTION IS: DO INSIDERS OWN SHARES TO THEIR OWN COMPANY????????????????????????
You guys who are always saying how great EFFI is, you must know, right?
HERE'S WHY:
It is common to be in silent periods where a company like ELTP is not releasing information. Investors, during those periods, can review past information, can bone up in the related field, but cannot *do* anything to extract new information. During these times, speculation is unhealthy; repeated speculation is worse.
In that vein it may be useful for everyone here to read the words of the Benitec CEO regarding bloggers and posters. (Though Benitec adheres to Australian Security Exchange guidelines, the guidelines are similar in the US.) His full letter is posted at Gumshoe.
Kind regards,
Minding
=============
"Benitec and other public companies [like ELTP] listed on [an exchange] are not able to advantage some shareholders over others by giving selected communications. All communications of new information are required to be done through [exchange] releases, a highly regulated medium. Whenever Benitec gives a presentation for a roadshow or at a conference, it is required to post these presentations on the [exchange]. This means that communications are necessarily restricted to material events, and the lack of communication, for which I have been criticized, means that there is nothing, either positive or negative, to report that would affect the share price.
It is very important to understand that providing speculative or premature preliminary information can be potentially very damaging, as conclusions can be drawn that are proven subsequently with more data to be completely unfounded. At Benitec we are very cognizant of the need to provide the market with reliable, current information that allows it to be fully informed. We will not provide speculative or premature preliminary information, either positive or negative, but will at all times comply with the continuous disclosure obligations which apply to us as an [exchange] listed company. If there is a hiatus in communication, then that is for a good reason.
*** Unfortunately, in the absence of communication from the Company, many bloggers and posters fill the gap with speculation. ***
The FDA have recognised this problem and have recently issued draft guidance as to how companies should respond to misinformation on social media (Internet/Social Media Platforms: Correcting Independent Third-Party Misinformation About Prescription Drugs and Medical Devices:http://www.fda.gov/downloads/Drugs/GuidanceComplianceRegulatoryInformation/Guidances/UCM401079.pdf)
NOTE: all of the above was posted by "Minding" the other day. That person--not me--gets the credit for this good info. I am merely re-posting it.
WHY IS THERE NO INFO ABOUT INSIDER HOLDINGS??? It is crucial info! We need to know whether the CEO and other insiders have their own skin in the game!!! Nothing is a more important indicator of success or the opposite...Yet i do not see this info anywhere, and we know they do not answer the phone or reply to emails.
Also, do they ever hold a conference call?
INSIDER HOLDINGS????????--does anyone know if CEO etc owns shares and how many? I don't see it anywhere. Thanx
Does anyone know how many shares are owned by insiders?
Seen any insider buying lately (or ever)?
NH is the biggest shareholder of all. He will not do anything that would hurt shareholders.
Partnership or buyout--or whatever--will be good for us Longs, i am certain.
$$$$$$$$$ ELTP $$$$$$$$$$$$$$
"Cheapies" are good ONLY if eventually pps goes UP!!! I guess you think it will, but we haven't seen any evidence of good things on the horizon. ("Good" meaning things that bring in strong revenue).
imo, the issue is not having patience. The issue is: do they have the what it takes to EVER deliver a decent pps???
Many of us bought so many hundreds of thousands--or even millions--of shares below .14 that we are loaded. However, you don't see NH or JT selling.
Gotta have GOOD REVENUE and REAL PRs that mean something REAL GOOD!!!!!!!!!!
Can you believe--we finally upticked a hair and then not only is the bid walked down (as expected) but the ask as well! What a jerk!
Was there any sort of news--or anything in particular--that ignited the run back then?
BS. Monday tells us nothing about the week. For one thing, Big News could come at any time...
If NH did let it go for 5 billion, where would that put the PPS?
What, in your opinion, are the 5 best MJ companies? (and why)?
Thanx in advance.
So wouldn't it be in our interest to partner with someone who has clout with the FDA? or even let them buy us out?
My concern exactly. But maybe this is why we should be partnering with a Big Boy! (or getting bought out by one).
May we dare suggest that someone is being paid off under the table?????????
Hopefully, FDA will approve ELTP on the basis of its obviously superior technology...without bribes!
WHAT IS THEIR MOTIVE??? Will someone please explain this? Is it mms or other competing mj companies?
WHY DO THEY DO THIS??????????? Why would MMs want to destroy the company? or do you think it's not MMs but other mj competitors?????????
I want to know their motives for driving the PPS down. Is it so they can buy at super low prices and then later let the PPS run up so they can sell at a huge profit?
I meant is there something we can do to make the company more responsive to the shareholders?
What can we do about it ???
Is there any good reason to believe we'll ever be back over .05? If so, in what time frame?
Thank you for this amazingly informative post. So i guess we longs just have to wait until revenues are so good that MMs can't hold the PPS down. Or at least not so much.
Garner $500 million in what time frame?
Couch, hopefully, that climb above $4 will happen on its own steam and not by RS!
Lasers, Couch, NASDAQ2020--Please address this issue raised by Money_Tree. Thanks!
'Meq' --your "huge" post is deleted. Please re-post it. Thanks.
'whynot1790'---Brilliant!!!

Excerpts from article:
"Now it’s becoming apparent that the Institute of Medicine (IOM), one of our premier government bodies of science and medicine, has been turned into yet another agency promulgating corporate greed-driven science..."
"In a recent article,1 Dr. Sanjay Gupta discusses conflicts of interests that may have coaxed the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to approve a new narcotic painkiller, Zohydro ER (Zogenix)."
Excerpt from summary of article:
" IOM’s new President, Victor Dzau, is on the board of directors of four companies, including PepsiCo, thereby extending the IOM’s conflicts of interest to both drugs and the junk food industry"
Couch--what does "BP" stand for, as in "I have wondered if Elite isn't going to do a deal with a BP"? (The "P" i get, the "B" i don't). Thanks.
I hope you are right. And i also hope you meant "by the end of July" (you said "June").
But please answer my question: where did you hear about these "big things in the works"?
