Also interesting that this person heard of percy and never heard of thalio even though thalio has been mentioned quite often here. Ahhh, probably a coincedence along with the fact that only heepes topical was mentioned and the fact that Wiz had an obsession with handles when arriving on the scene amd thaliomiles amd thaliowizard are just coincidental handles with the name thalio embedded in them.
Funny, BigB hasn't really been that active on this board either. Me just being paranoid. Right Wiz? (wink)
Wiz, it isn't just a topical for herpes that will propel this company. The herpes cream will serve two purposes if all goes well.
One will obviously be that CYGX has an effective viable compound that not only reduces viral load amd the chance for further and decreased outbreaks but also has a chance to allow the body's immune system do its job to possible eliminate the virus completely.
Secondly, by going through the R&D phase with this cream and the phase tests that follow, CYGX will have the chance to prove themselves to other pharmas/biotechs. CYGX will probably have a long roe to hoe in getting this topical to a point in phase testing where a suitor may want to help them with monetary expenses in exchange for a marketing deal. The topical herpes cream itself may not be the cash bonanza to really get the share price going, but if successful in getting their compound excepted they will have validated their technology. The competition for licensing and/or being a part of this technology will be tremendous. JMO
Think it fantasy? Some folks will. Bottomline, if their topical gets acceptance I wouldn't cash out everything.
And beside their topical cream is a plasmid production process that in itself could be quite lucrative, but that in
and of itself will only get the share price so high.
The kicker will definitely be their ssDNA technology though. If it works like we all hope, it will be an unbelievable ride.
JMO
Wiz, back to the business of CYGX. If you aren't a basher than you must be a supporter of CYGX? Right? So what do you think? Give us your thoughts. Your acumen regarding CYGX seems quite good!
Wiz, you may have smoked too much herb this morning. CYGX has held steady. Why is it that you claim the price is down then up when it hasn't gone anywhere? Remained steady.
If I give you my email address can you mail me what you're smoking? Must be some good stuff......
rusty, what in tarnation is your problem? If you NEED the stock price to go up that soon you are in the wrong stock for the wrong reason. Plenty of pennies you can play with that may win you a lotto ticket. I do not think this is the play for you if ALL you expect is immediate returns. JMO
If they are ex employees they should apply again. CYGX is currently looking for folks.
It wasn't me BigB. Someone had talked to the woman in charge of IR. Then they posted something to the effect that the middle of March may bring something according to this woman they talked to.
I remain kind of skeptical, but the increase in new handles and those spreading doubt have me wondering. It has increased quite a bit lately.
Has anyone noticed the increase in "new" posters here?
Now the U of F has a herpes cure. Rusty seems more pro PP than ever.
Looks like the Ides of March may be bringing in something, but what?
Increased negative, doubtful posts only mean one thing in my mind, it must be a sign of good news. Only in my most humble of opinions.
And please thaliowizard, get the real thalioMILES back on this board. He was and is a gem if there ever was one!
TIA
One more thing Rusty so that you understand my ambiguous posting. I do know one thing about CYGX management and that is they do not like to give the family
jewels away for fear those family jewels may end up making someone else rich. PIP is very IMPORTANT! Glad CYGX understands that. Many companies including the big boys often don't and get BURNED.
In that regard I basically have the same take as Paulness.
Clear enough for you?
Rusty, maybe that's how you got wind CYGX plasimd producing process and told everyone back in September or about then to look forward to something EVERYONE was going to like. Maybe you got word of this through your talks with the PP people?
Caveat Rusty! Caveat!
And you call others possible insiders? As Curley would say "the Nerve!!!".
Nope, I think what it is is that you just cannot believe
management has got a plan that IS working despite your best efforts to tear them down. It's called ENVY. Along with Envy are Jealousy. I'll have to think about the other five sins and whether they apply as well.
So do tell about AuRx Herpes vaccine. How good it is. That AuRx has something better than CYGX. Guess what Rusty? If Cytogenix does what they hope to do with the Herpes topical companies like AuRx are finished. You can take that to the bank!
rusty, you need to settle down and READ my post. I posted "Don't know that it was a CON". In other words I do not know either way, but I have my doubts that it was a CON. Is it possible? Anything is these days.
Caveat Rusty!
You are treading on thin ice here.
Now Rusty, that one is a terrible presentation. How do you expect a trout to bite that one? You profess to be long CYGX
and yet you claim to have had extended conversations with PP
(them??)?
And big friggin deal that all but 3 have PHDs. You know how easy it is to join the "club" these days? All it takes are Mommy and Daddy's deep pockets and Junior's ambition to get a higher degree, then you network, brown nose some, do somebody elses grunt work along with your own "research", write your
thesis and brown nose some more.
Dude, I've been working with PHDs and the like for over 25 years both in an R&D setting and in a manufacturing setting.
Some of them can't find their cars when the work day is over.
It's all about ego in many cases. Who has the bigger better blah blah blah, in other words horse-ship.
There are a few PHDs that are good, but they are the exception not the norm. JMO
Rusty, you with PP by any chance? Fess up now.....
Don't know that it was a CON, but I do know one thing about CYGX management and that is they do not like to get the family
jewels away for fear those family jewels may end up making some else rich.
I have basically the same take you do Paulness.
OT: And I loved 99! (EOM)
As Larry has said on RB Paulness I am old and feeble. I had a senior moment. I think it is important that the investing public know that CYGX is trying to patent this process. No mention of that during the interview, and that is what threw me. Sorry about that chief.......
Maxwell Smart, now I am dating myself.
neo, I just thought I might be having a "percy moment" because nothing was mentioned of a patent filing on the
plasmid process. Will be so nice when/if the application is accepted. A patent pending process for DNA plasmids will
be very lucrative IMO.
Thanks.
Perhaps someone to partner with already in the business of making and selling DNA. Someone who already has a customer base? That would be nice.
Cell free plasmid production, does anyone know if CYGX still intends to patent this process??? Was a bit dissappointed when the reporter did not ask MS this question and MS did not say. I thought there were plans to try to patent the process.
Anyone know? TIA
neo, you aren't missing anything. You hit the nail mostly on the head. A rehash of old news for the most part with some
enticing tidbits about the future direction of things to come.
Now from the sound of your post John, you'd think there were some pumpers here? Not on this board. LOL!!!
Had to laugh as I typed that out. The one thing Larry is right about, but the ONLY thing he is right about IMO.
Yes Virginia! This is STILL a speculative play, but the odds
may be getting better as time goes on. Stay tuned.....
And BTW, I do love Virginia, she's such a .... ham! LOL!
Thanks Paulness. THis may explain why the share price has maintained itself at mid to high $0.60s.
Like I have been saying, just a matter of time and patience.
PP trial will be the only thing bashers can hang their hats on now. Once that is over patience will be its own reward.
Bol bands continue to tighten. (EOM)
Neither me. Never put Jaun together with E-Street and CYGX.
Interesting......
Thanks Illene.
First CYGXUP says the lessions only last 3-5 days. Now since IT was challanged the lessions can last weeks.
What a lame duck! LOL!
Playing with this dolt is fun.
Larry......... being..... Larry.
CYGXUP, why don't you sell.
If the management is so bad just cash your chips in and leave.
And don't bother saving any of the rest of us from this SCAM.
Okay Larry?
BTW holycow, I don't know why they left the PR so vague. My only other explaination would be that they just want to keep shareholders abreast of the situation and did not go into specifics for that reason. I agree with others as for the lack of a good IR/PR person.
holycow, I was going to mention that in my postings earlier but felt people might blow me off. I also think that this topical is not quite what CYGX has in mind when "treating"
a viral like Herpes that can migrate and remain dormant.
If I were conducting the R&D I would be wanting to get at the root of the Herpes problem, and I am sure that is what they intend to do also. Thus, the extended research into other Herpes genes. Just my take on it, and it is a logical approach.
Why just have something that Arnold and Illene have pointed out isn't much better than what is already out there. Why not go for the silver bullet since the technology is available?
I find yesterdays PR very positive and encouraging. I think
people who hold this stock know of its potential and are just getting frustrated with the progress and time lines as was already mentioned by another poster.
As I also mentioned previously the CYGX progress does not only
hinge on the INDs because they DO have other irons in the fire.
JMO
suky, if you think that all the scientists employed by CYGX could be part of a scam other than the BOD, your out of your friggin mind.
NOTE: I have talked to some VERY respected individuals in the pharmacuetical biz who have been following CYGX for years now.
Although there cannot be any assurance that they will be successful as a company I can assure you that the tech is REAL and that there are those who are watching and waiting.
Paulness
0.1% is a low dose, however, I think the thing that is not clear in the PR is exactly how much the lessions were reduced.
First thing everyone noticed was the lack of detail. Think CYGX management did this on purpose? I do.
Now it was mentioned that they are reseaching other genes in
herpes. Someone touched on the WHY previously. They have an effective cream right now. What if they can tweak it? And BTW, they will. Just a matter of time.
Bedtime for me.......
For the idiots, and you know who you are, goodnight.
For the longs, just think about what has transpired over the course of less than a year. That's all I'm going to say.
Sell if you must. LOL!
Bravo! Finally, I waited for someone to post that about herpes
and PRESTO!
CYGXUP, please do some DD on Herpes!
Some lessions last weeks. There is no set time limit for these viruses. Other factors can often make conditions worse.
Do some DD Larry. And I am dissappointed. You REALLY are a dumb SOB. Just surprised that nobody challanged you. Glad they aren't my doctor.
Larry, don't change. Please stay stupid. TIA, LOL!
bigworld
-->Also, why would someone buy into a company like GNTA, which is the defendant in no fewer than a dozen class action securities lawsuits, yet spend a lot of their time trying to take down a little company like CYGX? It doesn't make sense to me.<--
Makes perfect sense to me. You see, when some idiot, PERCY,
posts his concerns over this company yet admits he bought stock in a company with more lawsuits, some of which are securities suits, it tells me one thing about said person, he is a FRAUD. Now why isn't percy persuing GNTA like he is pursuing CYGX with securities issues?
BTW, so glad to see GNTA struggling to keep its head above the red ink.
Another character who just recently showed up is CYGXUP.
Larry?
And by all means, to those who get weak hands and sell, go for it. I find it interesting that those with medical related
handles like doc4now cannot answer simple medical questions
and don't know the ins and outs of the drug business.
Very interesting board today. I am of the opinion that many on this board showed their hands prematurely. For those who did I will let you continue to make fools of yourselves.
Meanwhile, sell or stay out of CYGX until this time next year, then check back to see what the SP is. You may find it
much lower than what it is at present, but I really doubt that will happen.
Not everything hinges on the INDs. They know it. Now you do too. Seems like the idiots came out in force today.
One in particular. Another has always acted the part.
Looking forward to seeing this company drop another bomb in the near future. Hope it's a daisy cutter! LOL!
Remember this post.
Later to all the idiots.
Hang in there to all the longs.
nearlynapping, one suit down and one to go with PP. That's the way I look at it. No damage done with this one IMO. Now if the two parties get together at some point to work together it could be a win win situation, but I do not know the specifics or the personalities involved.
PP is the suit I hope CYGX can just walk away from clean.
Even if they have to give some shares as compensation I think Cytogenix is still in good shape. Just a matter of time and patience IMO.
From the sounds of it, CYGX current management may not either have the resources to spare for such a study on shrimp, or thay may feel that payoff may not be as great as what they are pursuing. I tend to think they just don't have the manpower to spare.
I tend to think that any advances in a potential food source
such as shrimp would be a huge benefit both toward the commercial success and monetarily. The delivery method in shellfish is 80% of the battle. The other 20% would be applying this tech to other species once the pathogen is identified.
Lots of applications in agriculture too for this type of technology. Folks would not have to worry about eating bioengineered foods either. DuPont and Monsanto would end up looking like the fools they ARE! HA!
Hogger, just suppose this technology is able to work in shellfish (shrimp), do you think it could be applied to the clamming/oyster industry? I know that there have already been resistant varieties of clams and oysters seeded that are faster growing, but viruses mutate much faster than our ability to breed resistant shellfish.
I also know that the Chesapeake and Delaware Bays were very big in this industry until a virus wiped everything out. It is just now starting to make a slow come back but will still take years until it can become commercialized again.
Thank you Inter_Pares. That appears to be more unbiased than "CYGX having their heads handed to them". JMO
BTW as for Bubbles, I don't him like either because of his destructive nature toward CYGX. Again JMO.
OT: holycow, predicted NorthEaster is for Monday/Tuesday with even more snow. LOL!
That's why I like a place that gives you all four seasons rather than a place warm all of the time. Looking forward to spring, but first hit me with more snow!
March sounds like a good time for things to grow.
Especially investments.
Remember, it's just about every company out there that has delays Arnold. CYGX is no exception.
percy, I will always laugh at clowns like you. I actually like Rusty. He has shown some REAL class unlike you.
How long have you played the market? You know squat percy.
Just watch....
I and everyone else on here will have the last laugh.
OT: Nice news on MUCL today.
Don't forget George Guilder while name dropping. Yes I wish I were an investment genius like percy who brags about a 3% gain. LOL!
