I wish the "new" posters spent more time looking for info rather then just complaining about the lack of.
All the time we take to look up this stuff and then share it to save others time is getting less and less attractive when the ones gaining from the info spend all of their time filling this board with whining and with what seem to be uninformed contradicting statements. I mean almost literally everyday certain people posting "are we there yet".

Found an article:

I've also noticed a new run on articles about David Kaplan and his research involvement with making silk. Found this same article (put together a little differently though) on at least 3 other sites.

The people Kim chooses to work with seem amazing.
Angela Ching
Ms. Ching has lived and studied extensively in Hong Kong, China and Taiwan. As a part of her graduate research at Harvard, Ms. Ching traveled to China to examine joint venture projects, including ventures in the manufacturing sector. She incorporated these findings into her Master's Thesis, which analyzed the regulation and implementation of joint venture operations.

Answer to survey question #1 is C.
Question #2 is A.
(I was really hesitant on answering #2.)
I really think the stock will hover (.065-.08) just like it's been. Putting a date on when we will hear new insight is really hard to do and just makes you unhappy and frustrated when that day comes and goes with no info.
I do however feel that WHEN we do hear something that it won't just rain...it'll pour! JMO & Wishful thinking.
Hey silkmaster have you heard of Newsvine? You can post about anything and they have a feature that lets you take a poll. Shows
you the percentages realtime. Kinda neat FYI. I can't direct reply or else I would have.

Igotthemojo says:
well kblb aint a fortune 500 company so the process is simpler..
I say:
Where do you get this stuff? Please I offer you the suggestion of previewing your comments yourself before submitting them.
What if any part should be simpler about a relatively unknown company trying to break into the technical fiber industry and trying to revolutionize the entire industry?
Oh yeah .... easy because it an unknown company? Yeah that should make it easier. Do new companies have to obey less laws then the Fortune 500 company?.
You would think a Fortune 500 company on any grounds would have
it easier with the business savy and experience, not to mention more partners ready to work with them because they are Fortune 500. Just not a well thought out comment mojo.
We all go to this board to pick up info about KBLB. Maybe speculate, or share what we hope to happen. We can pick at the flaws and suppose what things have to be overcome to succeed. We do not always agree, that's for sure. But I really don't understand blatant nonsense like somehow it should be easier for this company compared to any other company to do what it's attempting to do.
I think I even saw a post from Edward2009 disliking mojos additions and thoughts on the board. And coming from Ed who was the prev. dark cloud on the board for a while that means a lot.
If I'm incorrect on this I apologize, I'm short on time to find the post that I'm referring to regarding Eds comments towards Mojo.
On the matter of Kim giving some info to those who called him,
the most telling thing to me is that I haven't heard of anyone calling Kim and getting mistreated or being talked down to or anything like that, which is amazing and says to me much more then most will understand. If you want some info read Decembers letter to shareholders. If your a shareholder that letter is for you. If you want an official post that says we havent sealed any deals yet then I would offer the fact that since there is no published news about a deal then therein lies your answer. Unless you want a news blurb everyday of no deal yet.
Feb has been the first month of no news of anything since ,what July last year? And Feb is a short month too. lol
Any complaining of no news as if there has been some extreme absence of info is completely unwarranted.

I had to step in.
igotthemojo says: and while we are at it...lets get the dupont thing out of the way...dupont wants companies that have a proven product..a product that has proven use...a product that has proved it can and does sell..a product that can be produced for a reasonable amount of money and sold profitably...a product that has the network and distribution already in place...
To that I say:
Im pretty sure the word SILK goes into each of those categories above. Dupont wants companies that have a proven product
-[INSERT PIC. OF KRAIGLABS SILK WORMS]
A product that can and does sell. -SILK, AGAIN.
A product that can be produced for a reasonable amount of money.
-How about silk made using worms just like in the current systems used by most if not all silk producers.
A product that has the network and distribution already in place.
-Im pretty sure the silk market has a network setup.
-AND IM PRETTY SURE MOST SILK PRODUCERS WOULD LIKE THE IDEA THAT THEY COULD SWITCH OUT THEIR EXISTING WORMS FOR THESE ONES, GET A STRONGER PRODUCT, CHARGE A HIGHER MARGIN AND ALL WITHOUT ANY CHANGE IN MACHINERY.
Mojo goes on:
for that company, dupont will pay billions.....dupont isnt looking to buy low...they arent looking to save money by scouring the pink sheets to buy something for lunch money...
I agree,
Dupont will pay billions and
they dont scour the pinksheets to find a bargain.
However Im sure someone in Dupont reads up on the latest news
in the TECHNICAL FIBER SECTOR and that WYOMING'S AND NOTRE DAMES RESEARCH has not gone un-noticed.
And I disagree that Dupont isn't looking to save money.
Just a weird statement there..All companies want to save money,
and if there is some new technique or system that can take away any marketshare from a company they will undoubtedly look to try to aquire it for cheap.
KBLB LONG.
The worst we have it right now IMO is that we now have a stronger silk that plugs right into a manufacturing process that is already established. Stronger silk for stronger products which can be priced with a higher margin.
That's the worst that it is in this investment right now.IMO
The news we are waiting on (some more patiently than others)
is how much stronger they can make the silk and what deal (if any) have they struck for Gen1.
Still holding. Hurts though. I'd like to
see more respect for the stock. jmo
Been away from the board for a while. manshoon1
great job still.
Go KBLB.
Less shorting of the stock as of Jan 14 from pinksheets.com info.
That's always a good sign. The negative stock play is drying up.
Another thing to take note of is disclosure and agreements pending can keep a business pretty well tight lipped to a fault.
It's possible to go from no news at all to test results disclosed along with the deal signed pending on those results all at once.
There has been a gradual decline in shorts and weve been relatively steady at this pps level for a while (as steady as a pinksheet can be). It's not .26 but it's not .01 either. Traders have been in and out daily and longs have been building their castles share by share. The DD has been done up the wahzooo. I think Kim is stringing us along and has more up his sleeve than he can say (in a good way). And for an OTC stock we get more than enough info put out, just look at the headlines last year leading up to now. We even got a year end "sit effen tight" letter. So I'm sittin effen tight and have done enough DD to not be freaking out right now. Although I have replaced my saying of watching grass grow to watching worms grow. Been watching these little worms for 3 years now, I should get a pic sent to me with one of them and a letter written in crayon on how they're doing. JMHO.
Go KBLB.
That's awesome. My best hope was that the next advisor to come would have strong Dupont connections. And what do you know. Bam!
Kim continues to put together a great team to help him focus this breakthrough into something tangible and profitable. And as stated in a prev post. They are advisors not directors, not downplaying their importance just stating the fact of their position with KBLB. JMHO
So what now?...Results of testing? Fraser puts out a paper? Dupont buys the whole thing? What do you guys think?
GO KBLB.
Amazed again by just how nice Kim seems. You'd think by now he'd be frustrated with so many calls asking him what's going on. The fact that he took time to talk and answer a couple questions is awesome. From the DD done here we all know the science is factual. They have found a path to the "Holy Grail" of material science and the notion that we have such a smart and nice guy behind the wheel just makes me even happier. We all know what to do: Sit tight, Stop calling Kim and let him continue working, and perhaps buy more KBLB. JMHO.
Great job Manshoon and rockgirl.
Go KBLB.
Delicate and sensitive discussions means they can put out a PR with Kinnects name on it? I'd be pissed if you were in the process of wooing me and at the same time the paper said you bagged me yesterday. We'll see though. Thanks for the reply. Does add credibility to it (but not much). I read most of the PR and scanned the bottom half , didnt see that part, will re-read again. It's been a busy day. Thx again for reply.
I'm guessing Kim thought his Holiday Letter to Shareholders would have been sufficient enough to keep us at bay for at least a month. With Joel's anticipated news "preminition" we are all a little more antsy to hear something. We are all counting down this month (at least I am and seems to be a general consensus here) because of that. It took them 4 months to get the samples to Press Conference after they turned their corner, right? My timeline might be off a bit. So if they have their process narrowed down it's probably around a 2-3 month turn around to crank out all the test phase materials, not to mention all the combinations they can add in to test. So I bet the news we are waiting on and that Kim is excercising patience on is the test results. With that they can push forward and publish in a scientific journal, maybe announce the next advisor and start signing the deals that the advisors are most likely currently putting together. -JMHO@TOMA-
GO KBLB.
I read the PR and all, but I don't see where they have Microsofts permission to ducktape two kinnects to a wheel chair plug in their software and sell it as a unique product?! This sounds like a PR with a big name to attract investors, soon to be followed by an infringement lawsuit from Microsoft. JMHO.
I am new to this stock as of a couple months ago so maybe there is something I don't know. Have they been working or partnered with Microsoft before? Would'nt a PR saying they are working with or have Microsofts permission to improve thier systems be a good introduction and boost to Share Price before coming out with this PR?
Someone help me out here. Thx.
Hey rockgirl, couple more questions about the phone call. Did he pick up right away (like on the very first ring) like he seemed desperate for a date? Or did he let it ring a couple times and play it cool? But seriously, when you say he said "all of us"
Did he say all you guys, meaning all investors/shareholders? Or did he literally say "all of us" meaning including himself he needs to show patience also. Small difference I know, but it's a clue to know if he's trying to muster up or remind himself to have patience with the process. From first reading your post I felt the latter. I mean if you think we are excitited and want things to happen now, imagine being in the drivers seat of this thing and how hard it would be just to sit down and get paperwork done. Note to noobs and reminder to the steadfast this IS happening but timing is everything. JMHO.
Also did he sound excited on the phone?
January is counting down...

The fact that PBS's series NOVA missed what KBLB is doing and this most recent spot by CBS just adds to my previously mentioned point as to how little about this project is know by the rest of the world. Since mid last year it seems the spider goats research has done what seems to be a P.R. run. I think they're trying to get as much funding as they can before what we all know here becomes common knowledge. They've done some news/magazine articles, a couple local and National news shows (Fox news covered them), NOVA had them in their special and now this CBS spot. By the time the goat process would be commercialy viable so too would the bacterial process, which can create much much more then the goat process. Not to worry everyone, the silkworm will get it's time in the limelight very soon. IMHO.
GO KBLB.
This is BS. MM's are stacking .0925 and won't let it budge anywhere higher. I don't know why I let this bother me when we'll soon be past .10. A bit of an uptick on the shorts I noticed, but not very much. They're still on the wrong side. Who would short on a month that news is rumored to break. (oh maybe for the sell off after, or if no news comes at all) hmmm. Really no volume anyway, everyones just waiting. I'm going to stop watching for the day. Thanks for your opinions and forecasts. Enjoy your weekend all.
Go KBLB.
Pretty uneventful Friday thus far. So let's tool this around a bit. If a deal is announced sometime this month and PPS starts to go. What (if any) do you guys feel would be the pullback or jumping off point that people would sell. If we got to around .26 on the last run, should we expect a simalar jump and then a sell off. I know it depends on how great the news is, but we aren't going to get to .40 or higher all at once. Or are we? I'm thinking somewhere mid to low .30's will be a sell off then the next tier we hold for a while will be in the mid to high teens.
Just thinking out loud and wasting bandwidth.
Go KBLB.
C'mon Rockgirl, what's 2425 really mean? Too funny.

Has any one posted KBLB on the Breakout board lately here on Ihub?
Just a thought, I didn't see any. Might bring in some more peeps on the bandwagon. Gotta figure we are (fingers crossed) waiting for word by the end of this month for at least an announcement of a new advisor and at best some type of agreement (per J. Noel speculation). Although the new advisor could be tied to the new agreement and that's why we haven't heard anything yet. Next news break could be a one two punch followed by an uppercut to the pps.
January is gonna fly by.
GO KBLB.
Yeah, true. The advisors that were added definitely stress a broad market. At least some jobs will be created here (fingers crossed) from this innovation. Couldn't you just feel the fireworks going off while you read my post though. lol. I get too patriotic sometimes.
Go KBLB.
I would like to stress that this should hope to be kept right here in the U.S.A. With the cost difference that can be charged for MonsterSilk vs. reg silk a U.S. workforce could be sustainable. We need the jobs right here (which wouldn't require too much education and training) and as others have said we can contract farmers for the mulberries that are needed for the silkworms to feed on. This could be an industry that helps our Nations recovery. If executed well enough this ,like the industrial revolution would be an important piece of American history in how we once again set ourselves above and apart from the rest of the manufacturing world using one of Americas' greatest traits, innovation.

It was the first thing that came to mind when I was typing, the second (if your curious) was lighting a fart on fire. I stuck with my initial thought. All fart related though.....when will I grow up.
Good times.
KBLB
The only thing that will boost the current share price (aside from a handfull of pumpers, which only maybe makes it go to .10,.11) will be when they actually disclose real figures on the silk they've produced (& I dont think they're that impressed with Gen I). That or gen II coming to fruition and those figures get released. This will be a cue for all those who know about the company to double up or go all in. This is still a virtually unknown company and a niche scientific area. The youtube videos of KBLB only have around 3-4 thousand hits. A kid who farts in his dogs face gets a couple thousand hits. Not really impressive. If and when we partner or license with a major company then we'll have the biggest move because that will be the outreaching vessel which introduces us to the rest of the investing community (not to mention whatever money is made directly by a partnership or license agreement). That kind of news will hit major networks and be a topic of discussion on most financial shows. "So and So company taking a bet on a new scientific breakthough", will be a major tagline. For now this stock day to day is a mm's and day traders game. Use this quiet time to aquire more shares if you believe in this company and what they're doing, because if and when news gets out. O M G!
JMHO.
GO KBLB.
BlindPig I'm right there with you on your answer.
Thanks for all the replies.
To all regarding the advisors.
Each advisor is like a puzzle peice. Some are just the filler and the framing and then some peices make the others come together. This last peice might be one of those peices that reveals so much that Kim has to wait to let it out. JMO.
I don't know what's next to research for this Co.
We've tallied shares on this board, we've debunked any myths or innacuracies regarding research and share structure, we've listed almost all possible uses for the silk, we've validated the trademarks, we've posted and linked all news about the Co. We've watched the shorts dry up, we've had our Press Conference, our Shareholders Conference Call, we've cited business potentials from Wendt's book and researched the current advisors announced, and lasty we've had our year in review update from KBLB.

Have you guys seen this before?
I know we've turned over just about every rock on the internet again and again looking for stuff about KBLB, but I don't recall seeing this one before:
http://entogenetics.wordpress.com/
There's a Fox news video link on the site too:
http://entogenetics.wordpress.com/2010/06/26/entogenetics-on-fox-news/
Someone tell me we've already seen this.
Double checked, bought 250,000 sept 29th
then bought 125,000 Oct 16th.
Here's what AmerTrade emailed me:
Thank you for contacting us about the share dividend for SYNJ and the message displayed in GainsKeeper. I can certainly address both of your inquiries.
Regarding the dividend itself, I checked and I found that the ex-dividend date for the SYNJ share dividend was 10/15/2010. This means that only shares purchased before 10/15/2010 and held through that date would be eligible to receive the dividend. Because you purchased 125,000 shares on 10/16/2010 (after the ex-dividend date), you were only eligible to receive the dividend payment on 250,000 of your shares.
KBLB will be the story of the year. This is a new material revolution. The waves caused by this new developement will change so many things. This new video is simply a commercial that advertises what Kraig labs has been doing, what they've achieved and what greater possibilities are out there for these scientists.
Imagine when you start hearing about KBLB on TV, I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about it.
Go KBLB.
Ameritrade did post my divvies for the 200,000 shares I held with SYNJ. I can't trade them though. It just appears at the bottom of my portfolio list. 5,000 N/A. I was hoping they would have given me the divies from the other 175,000 I bought. But the ex date was one day to soon for it ,says Ameritrade.
I added to my position on the 16th and Ameritrade said the ex date just happened to be the day before I added 50% more to my postion.
Thx for the reply. They finally put the dividend in my account a couple weeks ago. I guess that's good enough. I was gonna try and argue about the shares I added and that they should have qualified but if each broker can have an individual date then I have no argument I guess. Thx again for the reply.
Hey guys, I've looked this up on my own but I want to hear it
from others. What was the last possible date you could buy SYNJ
and qualify for the 2% dividend they released in 2009.
-McCutcheon Marshall Jr., Declares a 2% Common Stock Dividend of Syndication Inc.; Declaration Date August 20th, 2009-
What was the ex dividend date? I thought it stated the 19th? Ameritrade said the ex date was the 15th.

Interesting find. I noticed the chart info doesn't show any info before the end of September. So it seems it hasn't been listed there very long. I would think this will help in reducing float.
Is this a clue to another advisor? Maybe our textile advisor is from Ger.? Longshot.
The science is real, the press conference was real, the patents are real, the trademarks are real, the company leader is the real deal. The shorts have dried up because they know they should'nt bet against this. This will take off in 2011. The clock is ticking to get in. Going to be a great year. No matter how small a deal is this stock will double from where it is now within the next 6 months (and that's being extremely conservative). IMHO.
