Whomever lost their money in the past has no bearing on the present. Again, we're ALL aware now, and have been for years, of who lost. Many many shareholders haven't lost and they want to make money on their money, show some support for them.
This stock has been a beast ever since they got their assets back, there is no turning back. I HOPE!
Yogi is the man, I'll give you that. Yankees and OMDA will be 2010 world champions. =)
The past does not = the present. Let's leave "Broken Recordville" for a bit and see what the company has in store for us post litigation.
It's a great week to own a winner. Good morning OMDA land.
Fingers crossed for tomorrow but I care more about the .05-.15 big score than a potential Monday pop. I care about no more dilution at all. I care about profits and an audit. I will wait for that patiently but will hope that management has a sense of urgency with it. It seems like they do, I'm sure they want to impress everyone including themselves. Pre and post reverse looks ugly, amen to that being over now that we control our destiny via voting.
If I hold a year my taxes on profit will be 15% flat, I pray that OMDA gives me the confidence to hold that long. I don't trade like it seems you do at times but I don't blame you if it pays the bills.
I am LONG term as long as NO shares get diliuted, no sense in breaking that 16 month no dilution pattern now, especially now. I wonder how much cash they received in the settlement.
Caddo is a mystery to me also but 150 producing Oil wells sounds very promising and valuable. Pictures and video and production proof of all of them will be stellar.
Definitely seems the LONG litigation slowed a lot down.
Even in AZ it's getting late, bed time for me. It's nice to hear optimism on the board. I hope I get some at .015 tomorrow. Goodnight and let's hope for the best with the fresh start that the company seems to finally have.
After six plus years with not much to discuss but legal issues I imagine that there is a slew of news coming. I mean I would love to hear about how everyone of those 150 producing wells we own are doing in Caddo Parrish.
Concorde Dome is a gold mine. I am very pleased that OMDA owns a large percentage of it FREE AND CLEAR. It seems that they are just paying back their investors who advanced BIG $ to drill and get the property in the position that it's currently in. If there are 1-2 million barrels to be recovered there we're going to be very happy shareholders.
I appreciate that, I hate hype also. I want real all the way around, including the benefit of the doubt and patience for the company I own a stake in. They just got a "do over", let's see what they do with it.
Anything is possible Alaska but with all that seems coming on the horizon I imagine demand and anticipation will beat the itch to take some profits. Plus it's not Friday.
I can't wait to see picture and maps of Concorde Dome, it'll show the biggness and realness of the asset, and of course with the production logs as well.
.01 a month gain is also a 2,420,000 dollar gain in market capitalization, not too shabby. They could be real players in the patch in a year. GOTTA get that audit done though, that is a must.
I'll buy pleased as well at .035 but with production flowing for years and NO MORE shares created at all I think we see much much higher prices.
I have $36,000 or so invested now in this stock 'whoa dude', I care. I'm willing to research and fight for what I believe in and for profits that I want. Like Alaska C says, until I am proven wrong I support OMDA Oil fully.
As far as who won the suit, it's blatantly obvious. OMDA has started announcing assets which they hadn't for many years, since the mediation and the stock is up 1000% and bdgr's stock dropped in half shorly after the mediation.
Simple stuff.
I woudn't mind seeing a company name change eventually either, the current one definitely has a lot of bad energy with it.
.0191 would be a new 52 week high, to see that by mid week would be huge.
I would love to see a .0165 plus close tomorrow. The float and share supply seem to be dwindling.
OUR vote now determines any dilution, any authorized raise, any reverse split, any forward split, officer and director share pay, shares issued for an acquisition, buyout, etc.
What other pink sheet stocks have that?
Authorized is days from being 250,000,000 shares.
Outstanding shares is 242,000,000 and has been since jan 2009.
No more management control of the majority vote.
No more Lanza or Black Dragon litigation, money can be used to do oil company things.
There doesn't appear to be any current funding going on. It seems the company has cash. It seems the company has had cash since they stopped issuing shares.
Zero shares have been issued in the last sixteen months and I'm sure Barnett could have done so if he wanted to, assuming he's as bad as you say he is. With the majority vote he could have issued restricted shares up to 10 billion, correct? He didn't though.
If Barnett believed that there was "heat" on the company or him he sure doesn't seem to be acting very timid. It seems like he's rebuilding what was gutted years ago. Looks like the dilution to pay for 6 years of various costly litigations finally paid off, or OMDA could have stayed a shell all these years. Would we have wanted that?
I'm excited about the future for this company and my recent investment.
Let's try to not live 90% of our OMDA investment lives in the past, it's May 2010, let's act like it. If you lost a bundle then then it's lost. Throwing good money after bad isn't wise in investing. I assume throwing good time, a lot of it, after bad isn't wise either, unless you're 18 years old and have no GF or car.
Concorde Dome alone makes this a valuable company, now the 37.5 % of that program isn't in dispute. OMDA owns that and there is production there and a lot more to recover from the ground. Let's chat that up a bit and not about a google search or 2004.
This is an Oil and Gas company, no longer in litigation, they have assets, production and a growing stock market price. It also seems like the days of dilution or a reverse split are a thing of the past, that is massive. I have never traded or invested in a pink sheet in this position. The shareholders now control the company's share structure going forward, not management.
When OOAG "takes everyone's money" as some of you warn over and over again daily then we'll all see that you were right. Until that time, and I hope that it never happens, just observe and see if your right. Credibility doesn't come from repeating yourself 412 times. You have stated your case and your opinion, let's see if you're correct. If you are, then gloat and say "I told you so!" If that day comes we'll all pass the hat, have some balls and sue.
Just typing words hundreds of times isn't going to recover your money OR make you feel better, if it did you'd have stopped by now.
I don't mind some of the critical posts, they are often times informative, it's just that they have been repeated over and over and over again hundreds of times. I may be new at posting but I have lurked for years on many pinkies and occasionally this one. I recently bought because it seemed to bottom out finally. Your opinions are noted, let's see what the company does now that the suit it over finally. The stock has run 1000-1300% in a week or so from .0015 even with your constant and daily negatives and attacks, you're not preventing anything. I actually think that you're helping the stock at times. Mix in a few positives once in awhile for us, make it interesting. We know you lost money years ago, who hasn't? Talk about other subjects for once, be open minded or just let it be and see what happens in the next month or months. I'm sure we all have kids, grandkids, wives, GF's, whatever, spend some time with them with your precious time and not on the board 320 days a year for five to ten years. Add up the minutes, posts and time, that's the real loss, not the money.
Life is short.
I'm sure if more of the negative posters bought in a few weeks ago we'd see more positive energy from them now on the board, but they didn't. I also feel that in a few months people will be talking about late May's prices as being low also.
I'm sure their list will keep on growing since they hate him. When the company keeps delivering the stock price will take care of itself.
If the stock ran .01 a month for a year I'd be happy. .14 a share in June 2011 would be sensational.
The Transfer agent has confirmed the restricted and free trading positions of Omda. I went back and read it on this board.
BUY4
I hope you're right, it did pull back and recover. .02's will be nice.
A lot of action this evening.
Ok, goodnight OMOGians. I'd love to see some gain tomorrow. I would like to get a few million more shares under .025, that should be possible. I don't have all of my money by Friday so I hope we don't explode before I can double up BUT I won't complain either if it does.
I have dinner with the family now, sorry for the many posts but I am don't work today and I'm excited.
I'd like to be a five to seven % owner of this company. I may not feel super about the companies past but the interest that it has now in the community, the assets they have back from litigation and the no more dilution makes me feel safe.
I don't feel NEWS is as important anyway if the company is growing and doing what they say that they are doing or plan on doing. The balance sheet will speak for itself.
BUY4
I'll take news any day that ends in "Y"
=)
I look forward to making my first vote in OMDA whenever that is. I'm sure if it's not good for the company we will all just not support it.
BRONX
true true
I hope that is anyday. Correct me if I'm wrong though, with the prefereds cancelled there can't be shares printed anyway right? I mean not without all of our votes.
If the share count remains unchanged I own about two percent of the company.
