Chill I'm just suggesting what the company could do to recover their stock. I'm trying to help. I thought maybe they read the board. Plus perhaps someone here could call IR and tell them to do that.
I think it would be helpful if the company PRed something like "We have just received $600,000 in financing from equity sales and are holding the proceeds in a segregated account only for paying for TV commercials and to be used for immediate production. Another $400,000 will be needed, solely for more immediate production and shipping to RiteAid shelves. XXX,XXX units have already been producted, XXX,XXX units will be produced, and we already have orders for XX,XXX units"
If you bought between .0085 and .0100 on Monday then you were buying while VNDM was active on the L2 selling tens of millions of shares and you have nobody to blame but yourself...
Sure I know LKEN has some fundamentals behind it but that doesn't change the fact that it's not productive for me to hold LKEN while it's diluting. I can trade my money for profit elsewhere and when LKEN's done diluting then I can buy it and I'll have an even better deal.
Sorry I'm not going to try to trade through a dilution MM moving down. It's like playing chicken with a train. It goes against every trading principle I have...
If they put VNDM away I'd stay in :)
I think VNDM shorts but sometimes receives a giant cover block from the company. On Monday, only 80M were actually diluted. At one point there was a trade of 50M and two trades of 30M. But there was a volume of 280M and VNDM was all over the place selling in million-share blocks... very tricky.
Sold@.0058. 14% made. VNDM is active. Million share sell scary. Will catch it if it bounces again. :)
VNDM moving up. .0058->.0059->.0060
No I'm talking about the ones saying the restricted shares are going to be dumped on our heads.
When everyone jumps off the fast horse all at once just because it finished its first sprint, I try to take the saddle just in case it has a second wind.
I got in today EOD. Prior to that, I always said I wasnt in.
I have admitted for a long time now that I am not in, that I may buy at some point, and that I am conducting a harsh investigation on this stock. I've been completely transparent. Yes, I'm very suspicious. This is because 99% of pink stocks end up being scams. I'm still suspicious. I'm praying everything turns out ok tomorrow and have my finger on the sell button...
Really the problem is around here it has to be "to the moon" or nothing. If I say anything but "to the moon" then I'm all the sudden a basher and being negative... If I disagree with someone then I'm being negative. I can't just have a civil discussion about facts... I can't investigate the stock I'm thinking about buying.
I did not.
I clearly said that Greene owns at least 2.4B and the remaining 1.6B EITHER belong to Greene OR insiders/promoters.
Sorry I missed this one. But... what is dishonest about this post? It is entirely true. Either Greene holds the shares or insiders or promoters... I didnt make a claim as to which one held them. What is false? lol
I actually ordered at .0052 and got most of them filled at .0051 (luckily) and then a final 72163 filled at .0052. I think your 1327 got grouped in with my .0052s. Sorry.
What original post? Please link to another post where I claim that there are promotion companies holding shares.
That last post is the ONLY post where I gave a hypothetical example of the distribution of the restricted shares. And the ONLY reason I did that was to explain why one couldn't simply "convert" all of the restricted shares into authorized shares, because it would unfairly cause anybody who is an insider to lose their position. The point of that post was not at all to claim that there were actually promotion companies holding large amounts of shares.
Nope:

Here I speculate that Greene could own the entire 4B.

Note the use of "maybe"

Note how I begin this with "Let's say"
I apologize for assuming the dilution was $1 million (when it was only 600 thousand). I shouldn't have jumped to that conclusion. The shorts are very tricky and fooled even me.
I dont know any other off the wall numbers you are referring to. There are only 420M left in the AS and that is a FACT. The restricted is 4 billion and that is a FACT. Greene owns at least 2.4B per the last filing and that is a FACT. At one point I speculated that promotion companies might own the other 1.6B but I clearly indicated that that was a speculation and a hypothetical situation.
We traded 281M yesterday where were you?
It takes TA one day to update their numbers - they tell you this.
I've never been "pro" or "con" with LKEN. I've always operate off NUMBERS. I confirmed a number with the TA and saw a reversal pattern on the L2 and went with it. I also realized VNDM isn't behaving like FANC did in November. Things change over time. Little pieces of information are very relevant. I dont hold some long term allegiance. I'm a trader. I go with the flow. It's what I do.
Well my TA call really changed my attitude. I really thought there was 200M dilution yesterday but with only 80M this must be hecka shorted. It's just a gamble. I'm of course selling if it breaks .005...
There wasnt really major dilution. I thought there was much more but I just called the TA and found out just 80M. The shorts really went with it and drove it to hell. lol I got in at .0051 EOD
They're suggestions; food for thought. Would be nice to hear some opinions too.
It was very nice to hear from the TA this morning that the float was only diluted by 80 million. So why is the PPS still down here? Are there not any real investors out there who believe in the valuation of this company? Has this just been one big float lockdown play with a bunch of washsales to fake volume?
I'm not getting any data from ADVFN...
Why is everything on the bid so thin and manipulated?
It's more efficient for us and for PST if we only call once and one person puts it on the board for everyone.
Looks like VNDM is moving up and down trying to milk the .005 support level as much as possible while being careful not to go through it. Smart. How long will it last?
What is wrong my L2? I just got up, and I see that none of the MMs have an update time after 9:30. This makes it very difficult to figure out what happened today.
Mitigating dilution losses is tricky business but once you've seen 100 stocks dilute you get the hang of it and can even turn a large loss into a large gain. You have to learn the patterns of when an MM is about to start dumping, when he's in the middle of dumping, what tricks they play, and when he's about to stop. You want to sell immediately when they appear and start dumping because it's usually going to take a while and most drop around 50%. Then you want to buy as soon as they disappear or back way off. FANC was very tricky in November moving up and down and all around to make people think it was over when it wasn't. If you were here in November it would probably help you a lot tomorrow. Just try to go with the flow on the L2 and closely watch the dilution MM (VNDM) and the bid support. When it's finally over, it's just as essential to NOT miss the buy point as it was to originally sell. Good luck.
In a cash account, there is a 3-day settlement period after selling a stock. During this time, you may buy any stock you like regardless of whether it is marginable or unmarginable. However, you are not allowed to sell the new stock until the settlement period of the original stock is over. At Scottrade, the penalties for violating this rule are as follows:
1st offense: A nice letter
2nd offense: A nasty letter
3rd offense: A 90 day restriction to only being able to buy with settled funds
4th offense: A permanent restriction to only being able to buy with settled funds
But that's only if you get caught. You don't always get caught, for some reason. It's as if a person has to find out that you did it; not an automated system.
I cant say... I can only speculate based on the typical dilution pattern of stocks and by LKEN's history in November.
1. Typically when stocks are done diluting, the dilution MM either moves to an extremely high number (like $2) or signs off the L2 alltogether. VNDM is still sitting at .0057 and was still selling at the end of the day.
2. In November, LKEN aggressively diluted for 4 days straight with FANC. Today was only the first day of dilution with VNDM.
So based on past patterns, I can guess that dilution isn't over, but I could be wrong. I do not have an estimate of how much dilution there will be. I have never seen a PinkSheet stock able to dilute this high of a dollar value in a single day. I'm guessing that today it reached nearly a million dollars.
If you sell and rebuy at the right times, you gain big!
MM VNDM showed up and dumped shares. The restricted and float have both risen per a TA call. As of now it is unclear exactly whom the proceeds of the dumping went to.
People dont need a stock to up 100% a day to be satisfied. I bet if it went up 2% every day they would also be satisfied. What dissatisfies people are huge down days like this.
