oh honey, I completely agree with you on the amounts. But it really torques my behind to see an outfit like Investrend trying to pull some crap like this. I have already given one deposition to the SEC as a result of some crap the people behind Investrend pulled.
I would love to see Investrend discuss "false and misleading" information as one of their topics of interest. roflmao.
17(b)
Use of interstate commerce for purpose of offering for sale
It shall be unlawful for any person, by the use of any means or instruments of transportation or communication in interstate commerce or by the use of the mails, to publish, give publicity to, or circulate any notice, circular, advertisement, newspaper, article, letter, investment service, or communication which, though not purporting to offer a security for sale, describes such security for a consideration received or to be received, directly or indirectly, from an issuer, underwriter, or dealer, without fully disclosing the receipt, whether past or prospective, of such consideration and the amount thereof.
SOMEBODY PLEASE SHOW ME WHERE IT SAYS YOU HAVE TO DISCLOSE YOUR SOURCE
excel, you may want to take a look at the party that is disseminating this information and look a little deeper into their own self serving motives. Don't misunderstand me, I am not supporting Subway, but I also know more about Investrend than I would like to know.
Take a look at this and then tell me who they are to talk, how are they any better. Oh and by the way...for being such know-it-all's, I suggest they start by looking up the SEC definition of "scalping"
FinancialWire is an independent, proprietary news service of Investrend Information, a division of Investrend Communications, Inc. Additionally, Investrend provides a wide range of forums, independent research and webcasting platforms for shareholder empowerment. For more information or to receive the FirstAlert daily summary of news, commentary, research reports, webcasts, events and conference calls, click on www.investrend.com/contact.asp
The above is a description of the services offered by the same company that is trashing on Subway.
Personally, if it were me, I would be suing the pure living shit out of Investrend for publishing this.
Even in the context of the securities industry, scalping has several different meanings. Generally, scalping means the UNDISCLOSED (emphasis added by me)selling of a security by a person or entity -- such as an investment adviser, securities research analyst, or financial newsletter -- who simultaneously recommends that you buy the security. It can also refer to a market maker, who, in violation of the Rules of Fair Practice of the NASD, adds an excessive markup or takes an excessive markdown on a transaction (commonly referred to as the five percent rule).
The ABOVE is the way the SEC defines Scalping. Compare that to what Investrend published: (see below)
for "scalping," the practice of "recommending the purchase of a stock to the general public while selling the stock at or near the same time,"
Now, take a look at Subway's disclosure...not only do they tell you how many shares they got, but they tell you point blank that they INTEND to sell.
In my opinion, Investrend is trying to get a major hold on the market and they consider Subway competition and this is their way of trying to take out the competition. Next time I get one of the weekly emails published by Investrend, I will post it on here. Then, take a look at the company's they represent...talk about scammers !!! hint, USXP is usually on there, that should tell you something.
Gooooooooooo Gov. Bush
Is this a good thing or bad thing. Makes absolutely no sense to me taken out of context. Anybody else get the point here?
Yeah, I saw that and thought about it. Figured I would end up in a "Wayne" mess though if I tried...lol.
ooh dear Gawd...you are terrible

NAPKIN ETIQUETTE:
Ordinarily, as soon as you are seated you put your napkin on your lap. At a formal dinner, however, you wiat for your hostess to put hers on her lap first. It does not matter how you do it, so long as you do not give it a violent shake to open it up. You take it from the table, place it on your lap (not under your chin SC) If it is large enough, you may tuck a corner under you to keep it from sliding off, or if it is not, you arrange it as safely as you can and unfold it as much as necessary with both hands.
No one should ever tuck a napkin into one's collar, belt or between buttons of one's shirt.
When using a napkin avoid wiping your mouth as if with a washcloth. Blotting or patting the lips is much more attractive.
If you leave the table during the meal, either leave the napkin on the left side of your plate (soiled part turned under, out-of-sight) or on your chair so others need not see it.
When the meal is finished, put the napkin on the left side of your place, or if the plates have been removed, in the center. It should not be refolded, nor should it be crumpled up; rather it is laid on the table in loose folds so that it does not spread itself out. At a dinner party the hostess lays her napkin on the table as a signal that the meal is over, and the guests then lay their napkins on the table--not before. Napkins are never reinserted into napkin rings, unless at home.
okie dokie...is it NAPKIN time?

cintrix, I am currently paying 128.00 a month for my trading software alone...charts, L2. Don't remember the breakdown now for freetrade, but my savings from that alone will be significant. The only reason I hesitate is because I use trac and data alot to get the prices that I want. Won't have that option with FT
hmm, IDGE does look interesting
EGSR, anybody know anything?
Oh that reminds me. I checked out freetrade. They use the datek streamer. I used to use their streamer before they started charging for it. I love it. Unlike trac, you can name you watch lists...ie, "swing trade", "promo", "breakout watch" etc. Actually, they have lots of features I like. Oh, and then I did the match, scares me how much money I will save.
roflmao...what an image..lol.
toodles all...
