Because it lacks drama and whatever else cheap journalism requires to sell "news" to its bored audience. Not mentioning running counter to their agenda, and hence being unworthy of notice.
Trading for Dummies and English Majors? :)
You said it - the goal is to make money, and if a penny stock offers that opportunity, not taking it is just wrong. The only difference between pennies and big board stocks is risk, and so if the risk/reward ratio is good on a penny, we'll play the penny :)
Not sure it'd work after hours.
Yeah, financial errors, not much info on what they are though.
Nah, not a nightmare, just another day on the market :)
We'll see what's going to happen on Monday. I might be looking for an entry with the sellout.
Today's loss was unpleasant though.
Likewise. Got out at 3.38, and we'll see what's gonna happen on Monday.
Looks like you're gonna get it. I got in at 4.11 and some at 4.10.
Great exit timing, too, it started to move up a few seconds after the exit...
Out of CRI at 15.43. It has some steam in it, but I just don't have the time to watch it...
Out of ENOC at 14.84. Nice bounce today.
Hahahaha, that was a good one :)
In CRI at 15.35, looks like it's bouncing off.
Good morning! Old people usually have problems sleeping, you know :)
Heh, all true :)
They recruit the smart ones in the Air Force.
Nah, you're a flyboy :)
Guess I don't then. Is there more to it than you put in your previous message?
Besides, you're Marines, for Christ's sake, you're supposed to be tough as nails and all that :P
Oh, I'm aware of all that. Did I mention LIGHT infantry? :)
The sad reality is that there's a constant tradeoff between the weight of the armor and using evasion to augment it (which requires lighter armor). In light of that, if it provides better protection AND doesn't hinder the movement, I think it may be worth it. Having carried the gear you mention myself, including my share of the platoon's gear (do the Marines distribute it, too, or is it only the Army thing? ;)), I do appreciate having less weight to carry. Despite the extra weight though, I always packed some extra ammunition, you can never have too much of that, and a few other useful things that add weight. If one of those things can safe my bacon, I wouldn't begrudge it the extra 3 lbs. As long as it doesn't hinder my movement, of course.
Thank you, and let's not underestimate the air support here. However, when it comes to me, I don't do anything anymore, medical discharge ;)
I don't know, I'm kinda attached to flak vests, and new equipment always generates complaints (including by yours truly, in his time). But when you think about it, I had 23 minor and major holes in mine (none went through) after only a couple of months, so I wouldn't mind carrying the extra 3 lbs, especially if it distributes the weight better. And I was in LIGHT infantry, so I know a thing or two about weight :)
Yeah, "trade without emotion", right :)
Well, that's the kind of charities I've no objection to.
Likewise :)
Amen to that :)
Heh, I try to sell when my brain tells me the stock isn't likely to go higher, not when my emotions do. This low, it's not a good sell, unless it has no upside, and like I said, I think it still has some upside regardless of how the company performs (unless, of course, they do something really bad, which at this time I don't think they will. It seems like they have the interest in succeeding).
That being said, I don't appreciate goading remarks.
Yup, and if we don't, it may be the time for another load. It has a few trading opportunities in it whether or not the company finds its feet. And if it does, so much the better.
With the markets being what they are, pinkieland looks mighty safe. Especially since quite a few investors move there when the markets are red. In fact, my pinkie portfolio goes seriously green when the markets are red :)
Well, it's not more or less irrelevant than 90% of what's posted on this board, but, hopefully, more entertaining. Sorry for wasting your time, I'll try to behave from now on (but no promises) :)
My guess is, he was out there trading, this and other stocks. So was I. When I have plans to get married, it'll be a woman, and not a stock :)
And that's how you lose information sources... through uncontrolled emotions.
Read the previous 30 or so posts.
Heh, thank you :)
There'll be no book, so it'll have to be a napkin or something :) I don't have enough money to hire enough lawyers, if I did write a book. Then there's the small matter of someone actually buying it :)
Jumped into this one earlier today at 9.03, stopped out at 8.97. Damn.
I just bought back in (I exited earlier at 8.615) with 2200 shares. Funny enough, it only showed 1200 of them being bought.
Well, hwo far would the rumor have spread from here? :)
“We need more men like Mr. Kapitanski,”
Yep.
"including one regarding nonlethal weapons."
Heh, I know just where they can get those. On the other hand, isn't that something the police would need more? Non-lethal weapons kinda take the intimidation effect out of it.
