ATWEC Technologies Updates Shareholders on Audit, Earnings and Sponsorship of World Cup Golfer
ATWEC Technologies (PINKSHEETS: ATWT) today informed shareholders that the audit of the company's financials for the years 2001 to 2003 has been completed by a Memphis accounting firm and is now under review by Rotenberg and Company of Rochester, New York. The local audit of 2004 and 2006 financials will begin this week with a target completion date of February 2007.
Once finalized by Rotenberg, financials for the six years will be filed with the SEC. ATWEC will then apply for listing on the OTC Bulletin Board and initiate the audit of revenues and expenses for the first quarter of fiscal 2007.
Preliminary estimates of first quarter and second quarter revenues are expected to be somewhat mixed as the company began the process of rolling out its sales/marketing campaign. With the finalization of our quality control process complete ATWEC has begun to ship the product to those dealers and school systems with immediate needs. Exponential growth is expected in the third and fourth quarters, when school systems and Head Start Associations are scheduled to acquire new and retrofit the present fleet of vehicles for the 2007-2008 school years.
With the marketing to our insurance partners and pending deals with major players having been completed, the company predicts by the fiscal third and fourth quarters of 2007 it will have reached or exceeded its projection of 1.5-2 million revenues.
Also this week, ATWEC Technologies attained global exposure with its co-sponsorship of World Cup golfer Peter Horrobin, who represents the team from Jamaica. Horrobin's golf bag features the logos of ATWEC and co-sponsor Netspace, and he will speak about the company's mission in child safety when interviewed. The World Cup of Golf in Barbados began December 5th and will conclude on Sunday, Dec. 10th.
The Barbados World Cup will be broadcast to more than 140 nations via ESPN, on ABC in the United States and on Sky Sport in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The World Cup of Golf became part of the World Golf Championship in 2000 and has a purse of $4 million U.S. dollars.
Upcoming ATWEC events include the December 15th launch of the national call center and an installation training session with mechanics of a national outlet. More information on these events will follow next week. The company has updated its website to include the November 13, 2006, 504 filing and the first issue of its Kiddie Kid comic book. Both may be found under downloads.

Mom angry after son left on bus for hours
By Lolly Bowean
Tribune staff reporter
Published December 7, 2006, 12:18 AM CST
A Harvey mother said Wednesday that she is considering taking legal action against Harvey Elementary School District 152, a day after her 4-year-old son was left alone for nearly three hours inside a parked school bus in the bitter cold.
Sukeya Miller, 32, said she kept her son home Wednesdaybecause he fears being overlooked again since he was accidentally left on the bus Tuesday.

"Any kid left alone by themselves would be scared," she said. "He keeps saying they are going to leave him."
Tyler Miller attends the Head Start program in Riley Elementary School. This is his first year and he usually rides the public school bus.
School officials were not available for comment Wednesday. The bus company, Beckham Transit, referred calls to its Cleveland-based insurance company, which did not return calls.
On Tuesday morning, Tyler boarded the bus as usual at about 8:30 a.m. At about 11 a.m. his mother said she got a call from the school asking why her son was not in class.
When Miller said the boy was on the bus and should be in school, they searched for him. Minutes later, school officials told Miller they had found Tyler. He was locked inside the bus and alone in near-freezing temperatures.
Miller said when she got to the school, Tyler complained that his feet were cold and his face had turned red. Bundled in a long coat and a hat, other parts of his body stayed warm, his mother said. He was checked at Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey and was deemed healthy.
"I'm upset," Miller said. "If it happened to my son, it could happen to anyone else. If it was your child or grandchild, you would be upset."
Miller said she is disturbed that the attendant who should have checked the bus didn't apologize.
"I felt there was no respect," she said. "From my experience, the drivers always check the bus to see if anybody lost anything or something ... it's a small bus. The bus monitors are supposed to check and double-check.
"When you are sitting there and not watching the children, you are just picking up a paycheck."
