Husker, any info would be welcome after waiting 3 months for news. The silence is deafening. Joe
NeweLong, didn't make it up. RP was responding to my email. Sounds very good going forward and confirms Redwings post today about expecting info this week. I'll bet the volume moves up a bit in anticipation of news Wed or Thursday. The news drought has been painful but should be worth the wait. Joe
Response from RP about what to expect this month and this summer.
From: robert@atcsd.com (Robert Putnam)
To: xxxxxxxxx
We are focused on OEM projects that we expect will yield successful products
with ongoing revenues. New video and wireless business opportunites are
expected to be an important part of our business. We are also successfully
selling our branded Odyssey 1000 and, along with Digitalway (our
manufacturing partner on this product), we are negotiating manufacturing and
delivery terms with several companies on versions of our Odyssey 1000.
We are scheduled to complete and deliver on three major contracts
(Softeq/HP, Eclipse by Fujitsu Ten and IFE) this summer, with the Softeq/HP
product being delivered this month. Revenues derived from these three
contracts are expected to be realized in this quarter and the September
quarter. All three of these contracts are scheduled to initially total over
$1 million each with further revenue on each of these products expected. We
anticipate further news releases regarding the completion of these contracts
as well as new business developments and new marketing initiatives of our
Odyssey 1000.
> Revenues for the quarter ended March 31 were improved over the December
> quarter revenues with the June quarter expected to be improved over March
> 31. Since March 31 was our fiscal year end, our annual financial report
> (Form 10K) is scheduled to be released on time in late June. Please call

OK this is not a repost. I received this today from edig. Nice to see a new PR person in place. I asked about the news drought and this was the response. Joe
Hi Joe,
The 10k will be filed on time, before the end of the month. We will also be

I have attached the share holder alert for your convenience.

Sorry for posting old news. Just a bit excited about where this is going over the next 6 months. News likely this week or next. I'll wager we break through the 30 cent range and beyond depending on the importance of the news. Joe

Hey, I'm open to suggestion. Any idea why our resident bashers are dumping on edig 24/7? No answer really makes sense unless it is for material gain or unless.... they are crazy!!! LOL
Awesome, why leave just before the fun starts. Buy more if you can. Joe
It appears that some here are trying to warn us of impending doom. And this is to explain the reason for posting negatively about an emerging company 24/7!????? This is insane!! Why would anyone waste so much time bad mouthing a stock they have no vested interest in? I think that the naysayers, and we all know who I'm talking about, are trying to buy edig as cheap as possible before the next big run. Sell they say, drop the pps down while you are at it. Tell me I'm wrong! State your true reasons for spending so much time posting negative aspects of a stock which is making you absolutely no money. Cat got your tongue? And Matt, thanks for stating the obvious with your survey. I had posted weeks ago that newbies are not visiting this site. The naysayers are preaching to the choir and wasting thier time. The doomsayers here will never ever convince those who have followed this stock for years that it is a bad trade to own edig. Never!!! Buy low sell high! Boy .14 was so sweet! Did you buy some at .14, or do you wish you had?
I have to admit that I stole someone elses thunder as to the loss of Wendy from the "other board". Cheers
PR position was filled as per Edig website, Wendy has been replaced. Cheers!
Actually if you look at the time when the selling began you will notice that it occurred right about when an Edig Thursday PR would normally be announced. This has been an incredibly long time since news. The highly anticipated PR did not materialize and the stock sold off. As an aside, notice the stock did not sell lower than the previous high. Oh, and this may continue, news is certainly coming and it could be awesome. Joe
Much lower, buying on the way up has worked for me before. Of course I have tens of thousands of trading shares. I wonder where I will sell those shares? Maybe some at .25 and some at .3 and more at .35 and so on. What do you think?
I did finally get in today at .22 and now sit on a qualified "enuff to count" total. Nice volume too! Joe
Imagine having to chase edig up to buy it! What a novel concept, way out of the perverbial box. May go with the .22 and follow the crowd. Sure looks as though we are very slowly gaining ground every day. Higher lows and higher highs. Moxa, you are correct, when edig moves up fast it is very hard to buy. Though the pundits of edig suggest early June is the launch date. Joe
I'm trying to pick up another 10,000 at the ask with no luck since 10:00. Joe
Nice to see edig hiring. Going out of business, I think not. See any new shelf shares, I think not. We have just a bit more time to wait before news. Anyone not impressed with edig will probably be buying on the way up. Next week into June, maybe. Joe
9miles, I gotta agree, edig seems to be doing a whole lot better in 2003 than previous years. Your quote is on the money!
"However never have we seen letters of credit or a product in association with a company with the stature of a Hewlett Packard.
This could be the time.
ECLIPSE, WIRELESS, IFE and the Odyssey 1000 offer investors a much more broad and diverse investment."
My most recent response from edig concerning the news drought and the possibility of new news. FWIW, Joe
"We are focused on OEM projects that we expect will yield successful products

24th webcast, we are building our inventory and marketing efforts to attain
2,000+ e.Digital-branded unit sales per month by this summer. At this time,
we are on track to reach our goal.
Eclipse by Fujitsu Ten has put in place an irrevocable Letter of Credit in
the amount of $800,000 for the manufacturing and delivery of their first
MP3-based automotive units. They are scheduled to begin selling these units
this summer. We are also making excellent progress on our IFE system as well
as our wireless MP3 headset for HP and another major OEM customer. These two
projects are scheduled to be completed in early summer. All three of these
contracts are scheduled to initially total over $1 million each with further
revenue on each of these products expected.

Any spikes north will have decent volume, as we have seen in the past. One million plus days are to be expected and this will supply plenty of the liquidity some are looking for. Won't be long now. Edig will become an obvious play to traders once news hits and the buying frenzy begins. I hope most of you loaded up on cheap shares. What an insane news drought this has been for edig. Highly unusual and is certainly coiling the spring pretty tight. Joe
One more time, with feeling! Edig's trend line has reversed. C ss n ra is wrong about August! Edig is clearly showing signs of life. the pps has moved up pretty dramatically in 2 weeks and is sustaining this move. Few sellers and many more buyers. I wonder what the pps will be come August? I predicted this move up over 2 weeks ago and friendlyfred will back this up. I speculate edig's pps has moved up due to the proximity of news and the relatively long news drought which will eventually end. Buy more if you can and watch your money grow , I have.
Joe {)(}
It is my belief that edig is finally making the last of the many changes incorporated since the SHM. We are in the growth phase, finally, whew! The news drought is somewhat disconcerting but not unexpected since we know pretty much what to expect going forward. The 10k should be available for perusal by the end of June and may signal the climb up to more respectable levels of a pps. I still hold that news is not very far off and that we see a small spike in the pps within the month of May. Check the charts, we have a pretty stable move off the bottom. Now tighten up your bollinger bands and hop aboard for what should be a nice ride up over the next 6 months. 50 cents would be nice!!! Hard to believe I said 50 cents would be sweet but it looks better all the time if you are buying at these levels. Cheers, Joe
Rstring, I am pretty comfortable with my latest purchase of edig shares. I'm now sitting on an insanely large amount of shares. I have wondered if the same was true for most longs. I think we own a pretty large portion of the new shares issued this past 12 months. Heck, it would not take many of us owning 100,000 shares plus to be sitting on 10 million to 20 million shares. Good luck to us all, Joe
Email I received from Edig aka Putnam tonight. Looks pretty generic but sounds good just the same. I asked about the news drought.

With the launch of the Mpio hd 100 I suspect we can now look for a turnaround in the pps as time goes on. This is the bottom, low teens. If you are buying or are planning too, step up to the plate, or be left behind. Joe
Well we darn near held our previous gains, few sellers. Tomorrow will be the key. If we see 400,000 plus of volume tomorrow we will hold or go higher. I still hold to the premise that we get news within the week or certainly within a few weeks. Joe
Do we get some follow through on Monday? It is a 50/50 split. Could this be signaling a bit of news going forward? Or is this no more than then buyers following other buyers who started the ball rolling. One could look at the fact that edig has not had news for awhile and some is forthcoming or that traders moved this up on buying pressure. And that brings me to Friday, Rarely does edig climb up on a friday. Very interesting. All we can do is wait. My money is on news this week. Joe
Edig is up premkt, a first in a long time. Bashers buying?
But Anyway truly does believe in Edig. He states: "They must appreciate our expertise and our technology. In these troubled times their willingness to extend a LOC to us is a very positive development." "Buy in the AM or my name isn't But Anyway"
Webcast prediction: As per Butanyway
"e.Digital's management is awesome."
My guess is this webcast is going to be great for the pps. My guess is the company makes an announcement on a major signed contract. The purpose is to attract new buyers to dramactically increase the shareholders value come the latter part of the week."
"The company is approaching the beginning of a new era- a low stock price is an awesome time to buy in. The Webcast should spark some interest in new buyers.. Buy all upticks."
Cassandra states: "I'm sure that they will have some great-sounding news about what is going to happen and what they will book in revenue".
I was going to post on this board, but it is so full of
oT: Thanks for the invite Tin. Good luck to us all, Joe Oops, was this a bit off topic, sorry!
A crow was sitting on a tree, doing nothing all day.
A small rabbit saw the crow, and asked him,
"Can I also sit like you and do nothing all day long?
The crow answered: "Sure, why not."
So, the rabbit sat on the ground below the crow, and rested.
All of a sudden, a fox appeared, jumped on the rabbit and ate it.
Management Lesson:
To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting very, very high up.
Parable Number 2:
A turkey was chatting with a bull.
"I would love to be able to get to the top of that tree," sighed the turkey, "but I haven't got the energy. "Well, why don't you nibble on some of my droppings?" replied the bull. "They're packed with nutrients."
The turkey pecked at a lump of dung and found that it actually gave him enough strength to reach the first branch of the tree.
The next day, after eating some more dung, he reached the second branch.
Finally after a fourth night, there he was proudly perched at the top of the tree. Soon he was promptly spotted by a farmer, who shot the turkey out of the tree.
Management Lesson:
Bullshit might get you to the top, but it won't keep you there.
Parable Number 3:
A little bird was flying south for the winter.
It was so cold, the bird froze and fell to the ground in a large field.
While it was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on it.
As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, it began to realize how warm it was. The dung was actually thawing him out!
He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy.
A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate.
Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out and ate him!
Management Lesson:
1) Not everyone who drops shit on you is your enemy.
2) Not everyone who gets you out of shit is your friend.
3) And when you're in deep shit, keep your mouth shut!
Parable Number 4:
The boy rode on the donkey and the old man walked.
As they went along, they passed some people who remarked "it was a shame the old man was walking and the boy was riding".
The man and boy thought maybe the critics were right, so they changed positions. Later, they passed some people that remarked, "What a shame, he makes that little boy walk."
They decided they both would walk!
Soon they passed some more people who thought they were stupid to walk when they had a decent donkey to ride.
So they both rode the donkey!
Now they passed some people that shamed them by saying "how awful to put such a load on a poor donkey".
The boy and man said they were probably right so they decided to carry the donkey.
As they crossed a bridge, they lost their grip on the animal and he fell into the river and drowned.
Management Lesson:
If you try to please everyone, you will eventually lose your ass . >>
Well Matt and Bob, you have certainly done it now. This was an awesome place to visit with fellow longs of Edig. But the end is near. You changed the rules against your loyal base of posters to get a few more hits on your site. You both are insane. This was part of your bread and butter. Good luck Matt, you'll need it after we leave. The bashers will not stay on this board very long once we leave enmass. Keep in mind that very very few new traders/investors ever came to this board. The bashers will quickly see that they are preaching to themselves with no new audience and split leaving you with a dead board. Hope you learned something! oh and by the way, Tin and Go did a super job here and will be sorely missed in their respective roles as moderators. Thanks for your unrelenting efforts to make this a once special place. Outa here, bye bye, Joe
I wrote to the seller of our O-1000 on Ebay.

-----------------------------------
His reply:
The company makes a variety of consumer electronics, including
MP3 players.
This is a new product that was introduced this month.
It is factory sealed and never used.
I got this one at a pre-order price. Supplies are tight so ordering
more will take time. I also may not qualify to get more at the price I
paid.
If you really want one, you should probably try to get this one.
Mike
I'm expecting edig to announce earnings this week rather than the following week. I would expect to hear when the Webcast will take place. I am also looking forward to this webcast, since it should give us some insightful info about what we can expect going forward. joe
