If you tell me I need patience on your beloved stock I will be waiting patiently on the sidelines until it's ready to go!

No prob. :)
And cheers to you as well. I look foward to sharing info, and adding whatever I can to the posting. Already feel at home. Can't wait for my first Monkinar, hope to see you and everyone else there. Person mark for you.
Yeah, I signed up about a week ago. Thanks.
Thank you. After reading your post I let out a breath of air I didn't realize I was holding lol. Just too used to the promo and power V plays. I like how CDIV keeps afloat after every shake attempt. I might be able to leave my computer for longer periods of time now. :)
Thanks, likewise. :)
Good morning all. New to the Monk's Den, and wanted to say hi. I was going to ask why I haven't received any of Monk's e-mails yet, but I saw today's sticky. I'm in with 110k sh of EIGH and was eyeballing CDIV at around .30 for a buy, but sat on my hands too long and here we are in the .60's. I tried to get some .50's on the drop yesterday and today to no avail..... I finally bit the bullet and bought them at .65...I'm happy with the purchase and I am really liking these float lock plays. Haven't got any GRNO yet but I will be looking for an entry point. Glad to be here and hopefully I can make the Pittsburgh of Boston Monkinar since I am in New York, and those are the closest ones. Gl everyone.
Well said, I'm glad to be here with a bunch of knowledgeable, loyal posters like yourself and Ryan. BTW, I've thanked Ryan on the private board umpteen times, I'd like to thank you again here. You're suggestion gave me the best stock I have ever owned in my 3 years of trading. Hope one day I can throw a monster winner your way as repayment, which I'm sure you would feel was unnecessary with your character.
Gl everyone, and don't sell imo, MMs are trying to cause a panic sell to get some volume
I was a member of MEG for a year and was getting an uneasy feeling when the board was closed on the weekend, and Snake quit the board all of a sudden. Then to top it off Nick was censoring the board on Monday. Maybe the light being shone on him caused his run and disappearance today. I know he's reading these posts, so if there's no truth to the allegations about you Nick, you just committed a fatal error by closing the board down in that fashion. You made yourself look incredibly guilty. That was a great board for a while, and (I still say)....if...you used the boards trust to profit from slow trading days......and if....you tried to cause panic selling in TDGI yesterday to lower your cost basis on those .05 shares....and if ...you used MEG to dump your JEDM, MSBT, AFPW, etc...then Karma is slapping you in the face right now. I say "if" not in a sarcastic way, because I really don't have any proof as to any of your intentions. And I'm not purposefully putting you on blast on a public board, this is just because YOU SHUT THE BOARD DOWN!!! This could have all been discussed privately, but you ran, and left no room for discussion. Also, sometimes you would get to the point of verbally abusing people when they questioned any of your picks, and blamed THEM for making the stocks drop for voicing their negative opinions on a "supposedly" opinion friendly board. You need to explain yourself, and not one of those half-hearted explanations that were supposed to quell peoples minds, which....if brought up again... would subsequently be followed by a sharp attitude claiming, in a dictatorially stern post....."that was already discussed". So, I'm really not accusing you of anything just voicing my gripes which would have been better voiced in the private forum that is no more.
That being said, I'm sorry Rain, I know you said no more on the topic and that will be my one and only post about it. I am a TDGI shareholder in for the long haul and I currently own 623,000 shares and hope to own a million in the next month. If I make it there I will update my sharecount.
Surfstocks
They finally put a bid/ask on LHHMQ.
MMs are fighting tooth and nail to contain this move. I don't think it will be much longer, we should get a nice pop.
I'm glad we're starting to get some momentum in getting the EC formed.
Just faxed in my letter about a half an hour ago. I was working on the notion that we had a lot of time, when in reality, it's crunch time now. It took about 5 mins time, so I would suggest that anybody that is reading this and hasn't sent in their letter because they think that one little letter won't make a difference, to rethink their strategy and just take the little bit of time it takes and send one in.
I think the liquidity in the commons is exactly why they are up now and I believe that a lot of investors in the preferreds are selling on the news because there's a lot of bankruptcy legal jargon in the reorg plan and it needs time to be digested....it's panic selling. Daytraders that are playing the Lehs and can understand the plan are holding up the commons imo.
Check out 1.104 and 1.105 of the 8k. It looks like the C/T's are considered a Subordinated Unsecured Claim. I know there was confusion on the language of the classes.
Thanks Brikk. I will feel much better when those inflated claims are reduced and the downright criminal claims are tossed. Then we can see more clearly what we're working with.
Agreed, but as far as the NOL carrybacks I believe they would still have to pay off shareholders first....correct? I haven't seen anything in the plan to get around that loophole
I think we're not finished yet either. I would hope that the plan goes into effect after our assets appreciate more through litigation, JPM,Barclays etc, and Asset appreciation... Which is something else to think about altogether. If Lehs wins damages after this plan goes into effect would that money be retroactive to pre-plan Lehs? That would make the most sense. I'd be happy if they weren't in such a rush to put this plan into action, this is going to get complicated.
I think they're using the "creditors pool" idea to force creditors to easily agree to terms.
Pro Rata means "in proportion to" and Equity Share is just someones share of the money. The way I'm reading it is, if there is money left over after paying creditors we (or someone, hopefully us), will get our share in proportion to what we owned.
"in the event that all Allowed Claims in LBHI classes 1-8 have been satisfied in full"..."each holder of an Equity Interest in LBHI may receive it's Pro Rata Equity Share of any remaining assets of LBHI consistent with such holders rights of priority of payment"
That sounds to me like we would get something if they satisfy all the creditors claims immediately prior to the execution date. Just what Coach and Brikk have been drilling in everyone's heads all last year. If their assets can cover their liabilities then we will get our share. This is just how I'm reading it, I may be wrong.
This is one of the only PS companies that I really believe will not dilute it's shareholders. And I've put a lot of my money where my mouth is. With all the irons in the fire, the financials will take care of itself. All imo.
I believe you are 100% right. Whoever untangles the Lehman knots and frees up all the liquidity that is tied up, will be known as the group that saved the world, in a manner of speaking. The US with it's superman complex will definitely want to get in on that stardom.
As far as the stock price, I'm surprised that we didn't get more of a pop this week. When we ran in Sept it was due to a "possible" $10B from Barclay's...now we have a definite $8.5B.....I'm glad this spring is going to be filled to the brim with news.
Yeah, we're 300k shares shy of yesterdays total V and it's only an hour and a half into the trading session. What a way to end a week!
I think you can afford to put some prime rib in that salad today :)
It's taking a little healthy breather right now imo. I think it'll run before lunch.
If I knew nothing about this company and saw this chart, I would be buying big time.
Yeah, I just meant that you can get them a little cheaper than the J's right now.
The G's are a little cheaper now, but there's probably not a lot of shares to buy. I like the J's because of the bigger float, and bigger blocks usually go through.
The bid is at .1 and the ask is at .2 with no trades going through for the last 7 days, the .1 trade was before all this news. If you wanted some of them now you would have to put a bid higher than .2.
They haven't had a trade go through in a week. The J's are the most liquid right now. Over 1M sh traded already. Gl
Bid over .1 at .101, now we should startt the late day rally.
My ADVFN level 2 has the ask at .12 and Scottrade has it at .10.
And a "golden cross" is imminent as well.
Excellent post! That's the Efficient Market Theory to a tee. A company like google with all the eyes on it and the market analysts, the upgrades and downgrades will always adjust it's stock price very efficiently so the chances of getting in early on any kind of move is pretty slim. It's hard to beat the indexes on those types of stocks, so the only chance to make money on them is when the index is battered, like in 08'. But a company like TDGI that is flying under the radar, that doesn't have it's true value baked into the stock price due to the fact that is not widely covered, is a true gem. Getting in early on a stock like this is the way you make some real serious money.
Yeah, any stock can show up as a FTD. Just last year BEHL,CLST,TMBLMY which are pink sheet stocks, were on the list. For some reason I can't copy/paste in this post, sorry.
You only go on the reg-sho threshold list if the shares short are FTD's.
It's starting to become common knowledge that Lehman's is not dead. I think we'll finally start seeing more investors nibbling at the C/T's and preferreds. With the bid/ask tightening the last week, I feel that should start happening sooner than later.
I know how you feel. I sold at .39 shares I bought at .06, .12, 19, .29. I figured I could make 100% somewhere else, instead of waiting a long time for them to come around. Luckily for us the wait for TDGI will not be that long. I think 300% within a very short time is an easily attainable goal.
I don't think selling shares of a stock you bought at .12 for .60 is a mistake at all. If anything you are playing the game right. Always take profits when you feel comfortable.
694K buys... 388K sells
