Vet in Flagstaff, Ariz., offers to fly Fred home to his owners in California

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - A basset hound that disappeared from its California home in December has been found 430 miles away in Arizona.
The dog, named Fred, was found by an employee Wednesday in the parking lot of the Second Chance Center for Animals in Flagstaff.
The next morning, staff members with the shelter found a microchip in Fred that let them figure out he was registered at Riverside County Animal Control.
The shelter contacted Fred’s speechless owner on Friday.
The owner said Fred disappeared after she moved to Riverside in December. She didn’t know how he could have ended up in Flagstaff.
Paul Fink, a veterinarian at the Flagstaff shelter and a pilot, has offered to fly the dog home to his family

Snow, winds cause travel problems
By The Associated Press
CHEYENNE — Snow, heavy rain and strong wind caused travel problems in parts of Wyoming today.
Up to 8 inches of snow fell in the Big Horn Mountains in northern Wyoming and forced highway officials to close a section of U.S. 14A between Burgess Junction and Lovell.
No unnecessary travel was recommended for U.S. 14 from Dayton to Burgess Junction.
Ronda Holwell, spokeswoman for the Wyoming Department of Transportation, said up to 8 inches of snow had fallen in the area, causing slick spots and poor visibility.
Snow also fell in the higher elevations of northwest, central and southern Wyoming.
Heavy rain caused local flooding in parts of Campbell County, including Gillette, which has received almost double its precipitation average so far this year. Some streets and roadways were closed.
"We're trying to keep our belongings because they mean a lot to us," Gillette homeowner Terry Friedlan said today. He had been up all night setting up sump pumps and sucking up water in his basement with a wet-dry vacuum.
Local flooding was also reported in neighboring Sheridan County, where the community of Story received about 3.31 inches of precipitation Wednesday and today.
"Everywhere there's a creek, it's starting to flood," Story Volunteer Fire Chief Rex Cahhal said Thursday morning.
Strong winds also caused travel problems. An 88 mph wind gust was recorded near Cheyenne.
WYDOT advised no light trailers on Interstate 80 between Walcott Junction and Laramie and north of Cheyenne on Interstate 25 because of high winds.
The state Highway Patrol reported six accidents where tractor-trailer trucks or trailers being pulled by vehicles were blown over in southeast Wyoming.

From the 3/29 newsletter..Sandy only wanted best for SH
The conversion of the preferred shares to restricted common shares is nearly at an end -- April 30th, 2007 is the cut off date. To date, although I do not have exact numbers as the transfer agent is handling the transaction completely -- there has not been an excessive amount of conversion. Once the April 30th date comes and goes this chapter in the company's life will be closed and behind us for good.
It is unfortunate that it has not gone as well as expected, as the company only wanted the best for its shareholders, but I think it is in everyone's best interest to put it behind us and move forward with all the good events happening for us.
I have attached a copy of the letter that has gone out to shareholders with respect to the conversion.
Now we can buy as much as we want for free

Golfer killed after cart plunges 75 feet off cliff
FALLBROOK, Calif. (AP) - A 65-year-old golfer died Tuesday after his golf cart plunged 75 feet off a cliff and crashed into a road below, authorities said.
The man teed off with three friends on the second hole of the Pala Mesa Resort Golf Course in northern San Diego County at around 10 a.m. and then got into his cart.
The vehicle veered off the concrete pathway, traveled down a 25-foot embankment and went over the edge of a cliff, California Highway Patrol spokesman Tom Kerns said.
The recently retired real estate agent from Irvine was ejected shortly before the cart hit the road beneath the cliff and died on impact, Kerns said. His name was not immediately released.
No one else was involved in the crash.
Investigators will inspect the golf cart for mechanical failures, Kerns said

needsomething....here's a paragraph from the financials of IFLI......Fight league...MMA. Doesn't look like TW or Fox or anyone else required any five year funding guarantees. There's a little DD from me....how about from you?
Future Capital Requirements
Since inception, our MMA operations have incurred losses, and we have funded these operating deficits through proceeds of $2.5 million from the 2006 issuance of preferred stock and from net proceeds of approximately $22.2 million from our December 2006 private placement. Based upon management's current forecast of future revenues and expenses, the Company believes its cash resources will likely be sufficient to fund operations into, but not through the end of, the fourth quarter of 2007. This assumes that the Company's live event expenses continue to decrease as a result of the Company's increased production efficiencies and that the Company realizes additional cash from the following:
(i) the distribution of IFL mixed martial arts content via DVD, electronic sell through and similar media pursuant to our letter of intent with Warner Home Video; (ii) the distribution of programming internationally pursuant to our exclusive relationship with Alfred Haber Distribution, Inc.; (iii) the consummation of the transactions contemplated by the Letter of Intent with the Fox Entities (see Note 8); and (iv) an increase in sponsorship revenue. There can be no assurance, however, that the Company will generate sufficient cash from any of such sources or continue to realize decreases in its live event expenses. If the Company is not able to generate sufficient cash and reduce expenses, the Company's cash resources may not be sufficient to last through the end of the third quarter of 2007. If the Company is unable to secure sufficient debt or equity financing for operations, the Company will experience a cash shortage, the effect of which could result in the discontinuance of operations. If additional funds are raised by issuing equity securities, further dilution to existing stockholders will result and future investors may be granted rights superior to those of existing stockholders.
needdiamonds, how long was that funding rule again?
Works for me...
