The inventor Progenics dumped it for a measly $3.5M. They knew it was worthless back then.
They have never released the full data set of any clinical trial. Only what they want you to see and with their data massaging commentary to spin the data. Have they published the data in a legitimate journal? All you really have is the words of Nader Pourhassan who essentially said "trust me, this stuff works and can cure Cancer, HIV, NASH, etc"
Why was he not fired for cause and instead given his golden parachute when he left?
From the very beginning this company was just a vehicle for insider self-enrichment. A sitting Delaware judge spelled it out "mastermind of greed". Everyone who "invested" in this scam after repeated warnings deserves to lose their money.
Kazempour being indicted for insider trading has nothing to do with Amarex and Cytoydn ongoing arbitration, imo. Amarex was following the orders of its client Cytodyn, as directed by Cytodyn's CEO. Still predict Amarex will win the arbitration.
Repeatedly warned by the "bad nasty shorts" that this day would come based on NP's prior actions. His lies and distortions were so obvious, but the longs wanted to bury their heads in the sand because of their greed.
Nader was indicted for insider trading but didn't Scotty also sell his shares during this time or am I misremembering? Hard to keep track of which of these rascals sold their shares when to save humanity, err...for their own financial security!
Does anyone really believe ONLY Nader was in on it? That everyone else was in the dark? Pourhassan is highly incentivized now to talk staring down the barrel of a 20 year bid. Let's see if he takes others down with him.
Fools here kept insisting Cytodyn was not the target of the investigation! Guess what the then CEO just got indicted. Scott Kelly resigns the day before the indictment is announced. Why is that?
No mo Cash either. What was the missing part (a) that wasn't in the 8K?
Longs basically donated $20M to the bank account of twice convicted felon Nader Pourhassan. He surely must be pinching himself at his good fortune? Before joining Cytodyn some of the various jobs he held included teaching at a high school (charter school teacher), selling dreamcatchers, etc. What possessed a biotech company to hire this man?!
NP selling his shares around the time of the HIV BLA filing announcement and then drip releasing that it in fact was not filed complete in subsequent pr's, and burying some of the drip deep in these pr's so that they were not easy to find, and neglecting to tell the public that he had instructed Amarex to "file it short" is as slam dunk as can be. SEC and DOJ investigations taking forever on such a slam dunk case, but there were so many paid promoters involved in other shenanigans that they must be building a massive case.
NP's certainly laughing at the longs he suckered while he lays out on some Caribbean beach!
Chrissy Reckner got paid $2M to run a 10 person clinical trial out of his "center" located in a strip mall like setting in rural Georgia, right? Where is Chrissy these days? He's not listed on the CYDY website.
Makes sense. If you're lucky enough to buy this swill at 0.10 you'd be dumping as fast as you could.
Year 1 is probably 2027 at the earliest if they're miraculously still in business
50 million shares at .10. Will they try for 100M shares at 0.05 next time?
No R&D will ever be done.
Recknor and Ray gone. Who will be in charge of running clinical trials and where will the money come from? Why has Cyrus not been named CEO yet? Is he scared to be the CEO when the SEC and DOJ investigations conclude?
Migliariase will read the entire forward statement warning. Maybe they will update the SEC and DOJ investigations. Is Scott ensnared with Nadir?
Wouldn't Welch get the rights to the IP if Cytodyn goes bankrupt?
Sam Bankman Fraud vs. Nadir "2Felonyz" Poorhasin. Bigger conman?
Blame the twice convicted felon Nadir Poorhassin and the self-enriching management, who a sitting judge labelled "unmitigated greed" for the failure of this company. They all made millions spinning falsehoods. Hopefully the SEC and DOJ perp walks them.
Why don't they just sell leronlimab as a supplement at GMC for erectile dysfunction, preworkout formula, immunity strength, etc? No FDA approval needed to sell supplements. This mab from the 90's will never get FDA approval because successful clinical trials are needed for that. They could even price a 30 pack one month supply at $4.99 in honor of Nader's "triple digits" promise.
What has Scott Kelly accomplished so far? He's gotten paid a whole lot of money and shares for achieving nothing. No partners, buyouts, or successful trials.
SK's probably working on his next book titled "Continued observations on life while I spend your money"!
Its a failed mab from the late 90's that its inventor Progenics jettisoned onto a twice convicted felon for a measly $3.5M. You think the inventor didn't know its true value? Still zero FDA approvals after all these years, but the said twice convicted felon made himself insanely wealthy ($26M in compensation the last 3 fiscal years) while burning through over $400M of shareholder equity. Yet, he's praised for this.
Don't forget selling fake Native American dreamcatchers and being the first person charged for a crime under the law in question. As I recall, he got off on a technicality as the dreamcatchers were being hand made by Vietnamese workers under the supervision of a Native American.
Who sent an email to Amarex to file the HIV BLA "short" because he was concerned about the stock price? Who then sold most of his shares into the hype of announcing that the HIV BLA had been filed (presumably complete as any reasonable person would assume)? What other exec also sold a chunk of his shares around this time?
Why wouldn't they be there? Suckers are willing to let management pay weed and wine guy Tony Migs $1.7M in total compensation and paid 2x felon NP $26M in total comp the last 3 years. They authorize shares and sell them to fund payroll. Nothing is accomplished in terms of getting drug approval. Zero clinical trials being run. HIV BLA DOA as predicted.
How can they blame Amarex when Nader Pourhassan would always say "they do fantastic job".? Shouldn't Chairman of the Board Scott Kelly have been looking into whether Amarex actually did a fantastic job? What was he getting paid $3.5M in total comp to do?
The SEC and DOJ investigation results still loom. Anyone with common sense saw and said that HIV BLA was DOA. Management dragged this out since 2020. Always remember how NP and SK sold shares around the time of the HIV BLA filing announcement back in 2020. I'm sure the SEC and DOJ do.
Perhaps all the new scientific advisory board members are getting paid nice sums? Answers the baggies question of "why would such luminaries lend their name to a company about to go bankrupt?"
Are you a new investor? Tell me more about the fabled "scientific advisory board" and what they have achieved? You do realize there is no risk for lending their name and they are most likely getting paid? Who wouldn't want money for achieving nothing? Scott Kelly certainly doesn't mind.
The molecule's IP rights will be transferred to Welch in the event of bankruptcy, right?
Did the Samsung CEO call to congratulate Cyrus on not being able to pay Samsung the money owed?
This is all that matters from the 10Q. Maybe Mike Mulholland can chime in that going concern notices don't matter? Think the SEC took issue with that?
"The Company incurred a net loss of approximately $21.0 million for the three months ended August 31, 2022, and has an accumulated deficit of approximately $782.9 million as of August 31, 2022. These factors, among others, raise substantial doubt about the Company’s ability to continue as a going concern."
and you know how Amarex "has been guilty"? Because Nader Pourhassan went from calling them fantastic to scape goating them? Where's proof they did anything wrong? Cytodyn will more likely lose in arbitration.
How did Amarex cave in? Cytodyn will lose the arbitration and owe Amarex millions. How did Amarex go from being "they do fantastic job" to being scape goated?
Cyrus essentially only has 5 years of experience at Amgen as his biotech experience and they made him the leader. Looks like the same old management to me after reading the comp table on p.12 of the amended 10k. Excessive compensation for achieving nothing. What "business development" did Scott Kelly do the last year to earn $2.4M in total comp for this year?
Did anyone here buy Scotty's new book "Observations on life while I spend your money"?
Probably working on the pump narrative to sell into. Maybe they will hold another call where Pitt can ask "Any possibility of a partnership or merger with Pfizer" and Scott Kelly can give a 3 minute talk about Pfizer's merger philosophy but never address how it pertains to Cytodyn and just say "NDA".
