Horacio Zarate beginning to make some noise:
Ready to Move on Crucial Natural Gas Infrastructure Projects https://t.co/iExwphRUUU
— HORACIO ZARATE (@jhoraciozaratea) August 7, 2020
Short term 10 bagger, right?
Can you imagine buyer confidence once ALL deals are announced by MX, permits & consignments given, and a start date on construction? To me, once those catalysts happen and dividends from phase 1 of the isthmus are within a 6 month reach; we fly to $2. And as our projects progress over the course of 2 years, so our PPS increases accordingly. Of course, its likely we get bought out once each and every phase of our projects are in progress. This sets Ward off sailing into retirement at 66 years of age (I think he’s 65?) and Billions in worth.
Needthatmoney, glad you’re here!
All of the information in the second half of that post came from an excel sheet I use to track projects in the industry. This project, unlike the others, is not out for bid. Very unique.
News this week:
Program for the Tehuantepec Isthmus Corridor published

The federal government published this Tuesday the Regional Program for the Interoceanic Corridor of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec (CIIT) for the period 2020-2024, which in its five priority objectives includes the development and rehabilitation of energy infrastructure, as well as the services and products of this sector, including renewable energy.

There’s none like it
Hahaha my favorite
The four presidential permits signed yesterday:
1. Trans-Canada Keystone XL (crude oil) - renewed cross border permit
2. NuStar's existing Burgos Pipeline (LNG) - to transport broader array of petroleum products to MX.
3. NuStar's New Burgos Pipeline (LNG) - New line, supports the existing Burgos Pipeline line. They both connect to the PEMEX Burgos Gas Plant in Reynosa
4. Kansas City Southern Railway Co. (KSC) - for permission to build and operate an international railway bridge in Laredo on the Texas border.

Does anyone think one of these four permits signed by Trump yesterday are for the Concho?
Industry update
Trump says export terms for liquefied natural gas extended until 2050
“To ensure we maintain this dominant position ... my administration is announcing today that export authorizations for American liquefied natural gas can now be extended through the year 2050,” he added.
Trump signed four energy infrastructure permits, including two that allow for the transport of U.S.-produced oil into Mexico.
“I will sign four critical permits granting approval to vital pipeline and railway infrastructure on our nation’s border,” he said ahead of the signing. “This will include two permits allowing the export of Texas crude to Mexico, a giant victory for the workers of this state.”

More exports to come!!!
I’m trying and failing, Jackpot. To be fair though, I’m only stating what was revealed in the PR.
Nice post, Norweger -
I'd like to add:
Once Phase 2 of our Isthmus project is completed, then our project will generate $1.4B in annual income straight to the Mexican government. The $500,000,000 is only for Phase 1.
FYI - The Whistler Pipeline is already under construction. Troy, Pumpco, and Strike are the contractors.
haha I get all of my Eduardo info from Rumors..
As for the Concho line not being mentioned, I can only guess.
One thing is clear, only once Mexico gives the green light on Mirage projects does the Concho line become of any relevance.. it doesn't serve any other purpose. To me, everything hinges upon this one event.
Long live the Texas Oil and Gas industry
Man, I hope it’s a landslide!!!

Wow, $2.40 to $9.66 in one day.
Rumors, what are you referring to by “we get a bill from the fed gov and no announcement about that”?
“They work with us.. well, not with us. But we work within their parameters” haha
That’s amazing. So, $1.16B a year in revenue from the first phase of the isthmus project.
The isthmus PR shows $500,000,000 goes straight to the Mexican government per year (I’m assuming this is taken out of the $1.16B)
Either way, a very nice chunk of change within 6 months.
The MX Secretary of Energy, Rocio Nahle, was at the Salina Cruz port expansion inauguration this past weekend.. as was the president of PEMEX, Octavio Romero.
I know the port will ultimately be significant to them because of Mirage’s contribution of two million barrels of storage and the two monobuoy’s, from which supertankers can fill up and export oil to Asia 36 days faster... but what significance for oil is just the port expansion itself? Can anyone speak to this please?
I don’t know the first thing about port expansions, but it certainly seems like they are saving the best for last!!!
Great stuff!!!
Thanks Macod. I’m signed up.
I agree - AMLO has been readily announcing project developments.. the first weekend of June was the inauguration of the Tehuantepec railway rehabilitation and this past weekend the inauguration of the Salina Cruz port expansion. Also in June, he went to view the progress of the highway rehabilitation and Coatzacoalcos port expansion. I personally feel as though his plan is to continue inaugurating each every facet of the C||T Program in advance of the presenting of the Executive Plan’s final numbers in September. If the pattern continues, the announcement will be on a weekend.
Perhaps the purpose of Ward’s meeting with regulators is to receive items that have essentially already been handed over (permits & consignments). How else do we explain Rubenstein and BBI agreeing to what they have?
If he meets with regulators next week and stays through the weekend.. I can’t help but to expect the inauguration of the new gas pipeline and rehabilitated oil lines.
What timeline, gas chaser?
“Enjoy the ride”
I like it
Thanks Need4speed.
I just want to take this opportunity to quote my favorite board rioter of the day:
"NASDAQ interview? Thats all BS. I don't believe it. You know how long I've been hearing about that?”
-Tradingonrumors- 7/23 -
Maybe I’m easily pleased, but I thought it was awesome.
Macod, maybe she couldn’t get into project specifics?
The way the isthmus saves 36 days in shipping for US producers is genius.. an invention.
Loved it. Thanks for the share, Future.
Good observation, Gas Chaser!
Wow!!! Man alive!
I thought the whole point of Jeff Martin’s announcement at the USMCA celebration was that they were granted their export permit?!
I wonder two things:
1. Does Sempra also have an upcoming meeting with the CRE/AMLO?
2. The CRE has let go a large number of people in the last month or so. How does this affect the permitting process for Mirage and Sempra, if at all?
So then, you are questioning the validity of the deals. I stand corrected.
Jetfan, Tradingonrumors can correct me if I’m wrong, but he was not referring to the validity of our deals. Just the fact that there are delays.
Morale is low
Friday’s have been good. I hope for a nice glass of kool-aide tomorrow.
In early May, AMLO said he would announce the Executive Plan on the Development of the Isthmus Program in September.. specifically with regards to the "final numbers". He's repeated this a couple of times since then too. Let us not forget, while we don't know what Mirage will make off of the Isthmus, the C||T (Mexican Gov.) will rake in $1.4 billion annually.
Is Ward's meeting in Mexico next week with regulators still on? I wouldn't be surprised if his appointment got pushed back a week or two.
Large number but a lot less than what we typically see, right?
I look forward to that next post ibow.. in 21 days!!!
For one, he’s ONE poster. When this is over $1 and he does actually post again, you won’t even see it because there will be hundreds of new posters filling this board that are far worse than him! Will you take the time to sift through each of them? Of course not, because your frustrations are misplaced.
For two, he’s a good man and thankful for each of you as he’s said himself MANY times. Nor has he said a single foul word (to my knowledge) to anyone on here. Except for maybe calling DCbass “DCperch”.. but really?
For three, please consider he’s an older man that enjoys this board for the social aspect? You don’t know what people are going through. Ever think he may have lost much of his family and friends by now being in his late 70’s and this is where he has come for community? You don’t know!
10Q + 8k + Off-Take PR have to be right around the corner!!! Especially if we are at the end of the final note.
He needs to release it. Mid-July was last week.
My opinion, when AMLO announces the Executive Plan of the Development of the Isthmus Program with the “final number$” in September, we either have our announcement THEN at the latest, or we have no announcement at all. It is then, before then, or never.
We learned through our Isthmus PR that Mirage’s contribution will bring in $1.48B in annual income straight to the Mexican government.
You’re welcome, AMLO. Sincerely, Mirage Energy Shareholders.
