(IMO), What you are describing is the term: Wash Sales. The act you described between MM's, is against the SEC Law. From what I've read about the subject, it is hard to prove because the MM's do have the authority to keep the markets orderly and fluid. That is why the TDC exists.
But from time to time, the SEC gets involved and they do go to jail, lose their brokerage licenses and are prohibited from trading anything financial.
If you really believe that could be happening, about all you can do is keep your shares up for sale, away from your MM, so they cannot trade against you or us, or file a complaint with the SEC.

Please don't take this the wrong way but, this is a good example (IMO), why I'm better off as long term holder when I purchase my stocks. It sound like you will be exiting soon as well. Hope not, but if you have to, then you have to. Possibly another long will pick them up as well. Good luck!

(IMO), Looks like MM's sold against the "expected rise' this morning stemming expectation of increasing purchases. I've seen this many times before. Old text book trading.
(IMO), Also, MM's trying to shake weak holders out. This is what happens when day traders get into a stock. It is hard to keep the stock moving upward when flippers are willing to sell for penny profits. But, I believe the MM's know what is coming, they just don't know, like us, when!
(IMO), I believe when the counting is over, (When MM's and longs have most of the flippers float), and yield sign removed, news comes out, this bird will be ready to make its virgin flight.

Thanks. That's the best "cost free" advise I can give to anyone. (My own past experience(s), and my personal belief system).
But some would say; "advise is what you pay for it, and If you got it for nothing, it is worth exactly that, nothing". With this said, I can honestly say, it has worked for me over time. I learn from experiences, tips, long & short term chart readings, and observations of what (solidly researched DD) others post to make up my own mind.
Once I make up my mind, I own that decision good or bad. I then sit back and watch and wait however long it takes to meet, exceed, or shows me a different pathway. Suffice it to say: "I OWN MY INVESTMENT DECISSIONS 100%".

Yep! You bet. I may have lost a few dollars then, but the education I received from those moves, was Priceless! I feel that; "by experiencing the things you don't want, one knows better about what they do want". You have to learn from it. Nobody rides for free!
That's the beauty of our US capital markets (the best in the world I might add). If you learn a lasting strategy in the biggest casino in the world, one can learn how to acquire wealth with their minds instead of physical labor. Physical labor works fine when you are young and you can take it, but what happens when you are at the age when you can't?
Learning lessons about creating wealth can pay large dividends, if they are learned as an on going study by those who have been successful combined with your own past good and bad experiences. (Remember, there are no bad experiences in the market, only paths that you learned you do not want to go. Transmute or go the opposite or other direction instead). Gook luck!

(IMO), It's interesting reading the posts from the "Do Drop In" folks identifying only their success stories with regards to making good money by trading. I think that is great for them.
But as long term trader, I have had great as well bad ventures and don't mind be honest about some.
I once owned a promising company with 6mm shares that was in the Microbes business, that went belly up. Set me back several thousands. But I also bought into a rubber company with 12mm plus shares, and made several thousand in profits after commission and taxes (capital gains)!
This company was undergoing a process something close to what CLSI has BEEN going through. Matter of fact, when I sold, I sold too early, because the company went on to be the largest manufacturer of rubber gloves in the world. (Boy did I miss out, but I did get out with a great profit!).
To make a long story short, my profits throughout the years have always been much larger than my losses when the math is figured together. I believe that it is because I go long.

Just looking at all the trades so far today, not a whole lot to pick up so far. A few sold off their shares, but nothing to scare anyone about. I remember when I could pick up blocks of 500k in (1) purchase. Not seeing those anymore.

Some Stats: As of March 2020,
CLSI had 189 shareholders on record.
350MM Shares in float
DB Capital now owns-130mm shares
J. Beckett now owns-36mm shares
This leaves 184mm shares between 187 shareholders, (Strong and weak holders).
No telling how many shares Dr. Doki and family/employees own.
(IMO), Very little shares available. Beware, I feel that there are a lot of sharks in these waters!

CLSI ranks 46th on the most read boards. (IMO), Word is starting to spread about this GEM in outside circles. Longs, keep your shares up and out of the reach. MM's will be going crazy to get any amount of shares.
(IMO), It's all about supply and demand as of now. (We have the supply, they have the demand). The shorts are deep frying like chicken! It will cost them plenty if they want any of my stock! Go-longs!

(IMO), Here is an interesting observation. Look at todays (1) day chart. A normal shakeout involves a negative trendline to induce worried or weak shareholders out of their shares.
(IMO), This was an opposite shakeout trendline that went up instead of down, and produced the same result. If the MM's planed this, the result may have had the same results as the negative trendline does, to induce the worried or weak shareholders to sell out. These types of MM's moves need to be watched out for, and recorded for future charting.
Very interesting day here today for me.

It's all good here. Yes, like I said earlier, some people took a bath today. The sellers lost their positions, and hopefully some longs added to theirs. Almost 3mm shares traded to day! Low volume for a 350mm share float, but most of that float is held by longs, which I am one.

No typo's in my message to you.
Who said you sold?
Well, if you are a long term investor, there is no reason you cannot buy both. (Provided you have the spare investment money). Never hurts to spread bets among other stocks. When one is up, take some profits, and purchase the others when they are down. (Average down and add more shares to the stock that will out perform the other). (IMO), I agree, CLSI has the best prospects as of now, because we have more information on CLSI, and they have 800mm shares they can tap into for larger company acquisitions or purchases. (But remember, when you sell, you lost your position). Good luck to ya!

(IMO), Looks like the general public took a bath this morning. Over 2.5mm shares shaken out. Maybe weak holders, shorts and flippers lost their shirts today after commissions and future taxed owed. What a bath!
(IMO), Like I said earlier, from my experiences, past study of long-term charts, and this being a micro-price stock, no gap-up here today. (My past research identifies; gap-ups usually happen on a Monday. Not always, but most of the time, and the percentage of increase, a gap-up would be much larger).
(IMO), It does appear the stock is finding support (trending) as it has been doing of lately, before it maintains it's upward "slow and steady" movements. CLSI is getting stronger everyday!
Long on CLSI! Slow and steady as she goes.

(IMO), Could be MM's selling against the news. It appears it caught them off guard yesterday. If anyone has their shares in an account, and has not put them up high for sale, the MM's can use their shares against them and sell into the price rise to stem the rise.
GO-CLSI
GO-DR.DOKI
Not sure who would be selling? There were only 189 shareholders last count. I'm sure some flippers moved in the last few weeks, but (IMO), they got nothing to flip. Longs appear to be holding tight for the better money. So many new ventures coming on line! Selling now, and after taxes on the small volumes, would leave them with very little profits. Holding long!

(IMO), Your post does not resemble a "GAP-UP"? A few tenths of a cent to a full cent, is part of a "Slow and Steady" climb. My studies of a "Gap-Up for a micro-stock price movement always indicates a much larger price adjustment in its upward movements like, maybe $0.25 or higher for a penny micro or full penny stock.
Just my opinion and observation here. All is good though. Good luck.
