I honestly think the $3 million funding this month is a non issue. Successful billionaires have been intrigued with spring football. Vince McMahon spent $200 million on his second failed XFL venture. Tom Dundon spent $70 million on AAF last year before pulling the plug. MLFB is watching their costs, having franchises in cities that don't have NFL or MLB teams is an example. San Antonio Commanders average attendance last year was almost 28,000 in AAF. They also had 21 corporate sponsors, fans were shocked when Dundon pulled the plug.

I'll say it again, EVERYBODY wins by becoming a NFL Development League. Each NFL franchise could put up $500,000 to $1 million each year, that's less than a special team player. Each team pay that much for a worthless commissioner. NFL Europe players who won the Super Bowl include Kurt Warner, Adam Vinatieri, James Harrison, and Brad Johnson. Teams may not need to be saddled with the likes of Fitztragic, Trubisky, Matt Ryan, Bortles and the like year in and year out. NFL Network can show games, as well as other networks, fans and gamblers will bring nice tv ratings. EVERYBODY wins.

XFL and AAF were getting good ratings and attendance this winter, so lack of interest was not the problem. As I stated earlier I think G League equivalent is needed, though, especially to develop more Quarterbacks and offensive lineman. Think of the lousy Qb play you saw yesterday, especially anyone in Denver, Darnold, and Danny "Loose change". Now think of Kurt Warner and Brad Johnson who won Super Bowls after coming out of an NFL Development league.

Totally agree NFL Development League would make MLFB a huge success. Concept of a G League is necessary, especially to develop more quarterbacks and offensive lineman. Denver Broncos just signed Blake "the Mistake" Bortles, crap like him shows the definite need for development league.

The last development league NFL helped fund, NFL Europe, produced Brad Johnson and the great Kurt Warner who both won Super Bowls. Even Jake Delhomme was Warner's backup for the Admirals.

Airing the broadcast on NBCSN should go a long way to bring awareness. LFC and NBCSN need each other, it would be the perfect marriage.

NBC Sunday Night Football ratings down 16% even with "Americas Team". The longest running Tv series in American history, Monday Night Football, ratings were down 21% for Giants/Steelers and down 38% for Broncos game. Thursday Night Football with world champions were down. Only ratings increase was Brady in Tampa on FOX late game.

This is the perfect climate for somebody, like a fight promoter to come in and start a league. Promise no kneeling and reach all that will not buy another NFL ticket. NBC could use a ratings boost.

A league like that would thrive in this environment! Get woke, go broke.

True, ratings down for major sports after lockdown. I tried watching pro wrestling for the first time in years the other night (AEW?), and it was awful, HORRIBLE. Bad acting, awful samey story lines, wrestlers tripping but still following script even after they miss with air, lots of standing around or laying on the ground after getting kicked in the thigh as they get tired after a few minutes. Wrestlers/actors who have a hard time putting a few sentences together. Point is, now is the time for LFC. Babes in lingerie fighting for real > fake wrestling and crybaby millionaires crying how they face injustice.

Only 4 NHL playoff teams left. While 3 series went 7 games, all 3 teams that trailed 3-1 lost game 7. We're still that much closer to NBCSN broadcast now IMO. Let's hope these last 3 series don't go the 7 games distance.
