There is someone selling and buying lower to themselves to manipulate the share price, because the next sale is .53. Watch we will open lower by someone trying to cause a panic.
You are going to be the BigDog very soon!
Why we always drift lower after a press release is beyond me. Dr Moro is clearly spelling out what his agenda is after developing the new ELISA test.
Highlights:
1)This should accomplish two important objectives: The first one is to disseminate samples of the RECAF tests among many different laboratories to further evaluate, validate, and expand Biocurex’s test results. (Allows for a collection of INDEPENDENT data). The second objective is the prompt commercialization of these tests, directly by BioCurex or through its licensees.
2)BioCurex is advancing its development of a point-of-care (rapid test) which has been also been shown to work in the detection of various types of cancers. The rapid test is intended to be used at the doctor’s office and it should not be confused with ELISA, RIA or chemiluminescence, which are used in the laboratory for manual or automated testing.
Bottom line is that we CONSISTENTLY get stellar results with Recaf with ALL cancers with a variety of methods RIA, chemiluminescence, rapid test, and now ELISA.
Another key element to note is what types of cancers were identified with the new ELISA format: BioCurex is very pleased to report the results obtained using the RECAF ELISA test on 77 bladder, kidney, stomach, and other types of cancers in comparison to 93 normal donor samples (of which there are currently no cancer markers).
IMO the door will be slamming closed to buy shares at these levels in the near future. If anyone sees any negative reason not to hold their shares or not to add to their position I would like to hear from you.
The volume is so low I don't see why someone would even care to sell such a small amount of shares. 3 or 4 cents on 10000 shares is 30 or 40 dollars, so why would someone even bother?
Dog, I agree. You are dead on. We will see Recaf being used outside the US before FDA approval. Reread the last press release and you will see that is what Dr Moro is aiming towards at first. Dog, I see us in Russia and China as well before the US.
I am enjoying tonite's exchange about Recaf, because it is likely that the scientific community will be engaged in a similar conversation. I do like the fact that my investment will reward me as well as many others.
Wouldn't it be useful for big pharma to test the efficacy of a new drug by using Recaf to see if the cancer has been irradicated? There are unlimited uses for Recaf.
I am frustrated by some of these previous remarks. Why did you invest in a company that has laid claim to a universal cancer marker when you now think it is a bad thing that will have no use in medicine. I have tremendous respect for most of the contributors on this board, but how can this suddenly be a sticking point? Recaf will be of great use to doctors in the future. Most insurance companies will insist on Recaf as will the informed public at large, and especially countries where they have socialized medicine. Recaf doesn't just work just in the US!
The quest has always been for a universal cancer marker. That is what I have invested in, and that is what insurance companies would rather spend their money on. Why wouldn't the insurance company whose one goal is to reduce their costs not allow a Recaf test to allow for minimal expense vs. surgery, radiation, and chemo if they may now only need to pay for possibility of one of the above. Let's just say for example you have a lesion that you are concerned of (a lump or a skin lesion or some unexplained symptoms...blurred vision, stomach ache, head ache, difficulty passing urine, ect.). What is the first thing you say to yourself? Most would say, "Please God, don't let it be cancer!"
I would love to have a simple drop of my blood rule this out immediately and then move on to other diagnostics. Do you think Senator Ted Kennedy would rather go thru brain surgery and find out his last days on earth are about to end miserably, because the cancer is ravaging his brain? I do not see this as a debate. For me it is instinctive for any human to want to survive and if you could avoid most of the torture involved with irradicating cancer you would want to treat it as soon as possible.
Half, you and I are on the same page.
I believe that the future of medicine is not going to be recognizable to our generation. In the future, there will be genetic testing to see if you are predisposed to any form of cancer. There is a wonderful robotic surgical machine called Da Vinci by Intuitive Surgical that performs surgery by robotic arms so the outcome is much less invasive, therefore, less morbity and less down time. I can see Recaf lighting up the cancer and imaging will direct the surgeon (or robot) straight to the cancer. The future of medicine will include Recaf, and we will all be better off for it.
I still feel that Recaf will be used to detect cancer at the earliest stage and it is up to the doctor to find the cancer thru process of elimination. Out of site out of mind is not a proper way to react towards cancer. How many women lose their lives to breast or ovarian cancer, or men to prostate? I guarantee that all of them wish they were given an opportunity to diagnose it early.
What is their best defense? It is EARLY detection. That is what I would want and I'm sure that all of you would as well.
The sellers have gone. Any new news will give us a better push higher, so hit us again, Dr Moro.
Gold, you have to be as frustrated as all of us. Dr Moro has so much new data and has developed these new tests just so that he could further validate his findings. At some point we all know that all the naysayers will have to concede when all the evidence leads to the same conclusion....the science works. He is a man of honor and has learned to be patient, so he just keeps plugging away with his worker bees in the lab and keeps finding new applications and testing methods. Even Kag had tried to dismiss our accomplishments by saying that even if you diagnose cancer early you can't do a thing about it which perplexed me. I look forward with eager anticipation to any new press releases, because we just keep advancing the science further which allows for more applications which will lead to more revenues. When I say that Inverness will buy us, IMO they will try, but probably not succeed.
IMO, it won't be 30 thousand shares, he will be buying 45 million shares of Biocurex.
This right off Biocurex website:
MANAGEMENT
Ricardo Moro-Vidal, M.D. is the CEO and President of BioCurex. Previously, he developed a new diagnostic system (conductivity ELISA) and a microchip that was used by NASA in space. Dr. Moro-Vidal discovered the universal cancer marker RECAF™, the core of BioCurex’s technology.
Those aren't my words, and yes he is a great scientist that will be recognized for his contributions to diagnosing, imaging, and soon therapeutics. It will happen, and we will all be glad we were all part of the reason for his success in aiding his company and not panicking over the bumps along the road.
Back to the matters at hand...I am curious if the upcoming presentation will have data from Inverness. We are in new territory since the last meeting with the newest ELISA test. Does everyone know that our Dr Moro is the inventor of ELISA which he is credited for by NASA? He is amazing.
Just came across the wire that the CEO of Inverness bought almost 30,000 shares at 36.16. He knows something.
I wouldn't say we need any luck as you might think. We have advanced the science of Recaf to a point where any skeptics will be given an opportunity to dispute our findings. We will be be judged by our peers and we will be vindicated just like every other time. Zolax, you must be intrigued and are curious to see how this plays out. Obviously you personally don't believe in the technology, however, I am excited that Dr Moro has devised a way for independent verification without involving the FDA or any other legal protocol in shipping reagants. It won't be long before we get the answers to this. It most certainly will guarantee us alot more "players" and IMO will get us over any credibility issues. I don't have a problem with your lack of enthusiasm, but do you expect to ever hold a position in BOCX? If not, what contribution are you making to this boardroom dedicated to BOCX shareholders?
I'm not sure what the surge at the end of the last couple of days means. IMO, maybe someone knows there is going to be another press release and is trying to get ahead of it. Let's hope we have scraped the bottom in share price and we are building a higher base.
No doubt. There will be upward momentum just in anticipation of the upcoming international oncology congress. All we have to hear now is that Biocurex has had requests for the new ELISA recaf test and away we go. Dr Moro, in my mind is a magician with what he has accomplished. I know how he is and he would not hastily reveal data on the newest test unless it was up to his high standards. We will blow away any results from previous markers and he will soon be the toast of the town. IMO, there will an extraordinary amount of attendance at the upcoming meeting, just in anticipation of Dr Moro's presentation. He can now finally be proud of what he has accomplished and any doubters will be given an opportunity to judge or themselves on their own merits. I am sure the only caveat to whomever takes on his challenge is that all their independent data will be required for submission and allowed to be published. Once he makes this open challenge to all his colleagues at that meeting there will leave little doubt in the minds of the naysayers. IMO, it will not be much long before we really do hear about this on CNN or CNBC. He had a game plan all along, but could not show us all of cards until he new he finally had the royal flush. Things are about to get interesting with Inverness. They may be the ones to throw us any needed capital.
I am at full tilt. I want to, but at this point it would be purely based on greed. IMO, it is not us. If only the people selling would raise their ask then the bid would follow suit.
REALITY CHECK TODAY. Do you really want to miss this ride? Inverness is sharpening their pencils right now!
They have to be impressed over at Inverness and I have a strong suspicion they are crunching numbers on a price to buy us out, especially if they raise 1.2 billion when they take Matria private and sell half their stake and share the profits. Cash seems to burn a hole in their pocket and they have a history of not playing games when they like what they see. At the present time I'm asking, what's not to like?
Look at the history of Biosite. They are experts and have the experience to validate and bring cancer markers to commercial use. They are our real partners. Inverness bought Biosite and then they realized the potential from the scientists at Biosite. We will be working with the scientists at Biosite and that is why I am so confident given their abilities and experience mixed together with the agressive nature of Inverness and given the fact that there have been nothing less than stellar results we will succeed. Recently Dr Moro has gone so far as to say he wants independent data from whomever is willing to find out for themselves what Recaf can actually do. Dr Moro is well aware of his finances and I am certain he is just as confident with his financial situation as he is with the results from Recaf. He was so bold as to say he is going to commercialize Recaf outside the US alone without a partner. You cannot make such a statement without an exceptional amount of confidence.
Early detection is key to achieving an optimal prognosis. Are you willing to dispute that? They aren't going to throw away this test, because it is TOO GOOD.
Kag, I guess you would rather go to the doctor and shake his hand and say "I feel great, and I look great, so I'm free to go, right?", and the doctor would say, "yeh Kag, you must be cancer free, because you look healthy, that's good enough for me now get out of my office."
I'm trying to find your logic, not to belittle you, but people go to the car mechanic and check the engine and fluid levels, would they do this with the hood down? Why would you assume that someone would rather let the cancer become symptomatic and then go thru surgery, radiation, chemo or risk death?
The skepticism by investors and other scientists has only fueled further passion by Dr moro to bring forth new evidence as to how well Recaf really works as well as various methods of detection. He is doing exactly everything I said in my previous posts he needs to do to get the company back on track.
The stars are beginning to align for our future, and there is what I would consider no short position on the stock, and Ted, you said that you used to run a hedge fund a while back, doesn't a hedge fund hedge against loses by shorting its investment? Why is it that Smithline nor any other large investors have not put on a short position. I would think they feel there is more upside potential, as do I.
Kag, are you saying don't do the test because there isn't anything that can be done to help you. Where is the logic in that? Just let the cancer ravage your body and get ahold of your attorney to have a will drawn up? How can you forget after all these years that by attaching the Recaf antibody to the cancer marker molecules the cancer can be lit up and tumor imaging can be used to determine the location and the size of the cancer? Don't discount what we have accomplished. This is the future in cancer diagnosis and will be a major link forward in discovering a cure. Mark my words, it is going to happen. We will succeed, and you and I will be much better off the sooner it does, but it is finally at a stage when I can comfortably debate with anyone that we will no longer be "exposed as a scam". The evidence at this point is overwhelmingly in our favor. I can't wait to see what else Recaf can do.
IMO, start saving up now....we are about to have more independent verification. We will make believers out of anyone who wishes to challenge our results. Now that speaks volumes about the truth as to how confident Dr Moro and his team are. He developed so many different ways to detect cancer using Recaf that there won't be one physician, laboratory, hospital, educational, or research institution that wouldn't want to put Recaf to the test. I'm sorry no one else sees the true genious of what is going on at Biocurex, but I completely grasp what they are working towards and I can honestly say that I am impressed with what they have achieved in such a short period of time. They are not working with a light switch they can simply turn off and on. This is some amazing science being done, and it hurts me deeply to feel as though some on this board would love to see this fail. To the bashers, I'm sorry to say that there are individuals within Biocurex that feel compelled to do everything in their power to see this succeed, and IMO, from what I see and hear, it will become a reality.
I hate to put it in these terms, but wouldn't you want to know you have cancer at stage 1 or would you rather go around undetected or have your doctor tell you to close the door and sit down, I'm sorry to tell you this, but you have stage 4 cancer. I am sorry, but you have 2 months to live. This is real. Everyone will benefit. I think a majority of people are predisposed or have someone close to them that has suffered. Unfortunately, it isn't written anywhere how each individual will expire, but you certainly can derail that ill fate if you knew you could be tested. I just don't see too many more obstacles ahead. Dr Moro just has to make believers out of more people, and now he can. That was the importance of his last press release. Dr Moro continues to deliver. I noticed he has stopped wasting our money on the penny news letters. He is on the right track by getting Recaf into the hands of any naysayers or skeptics and is attending another oncology conference. (Also notice he preannounced his invitation to the oncology conference, unlike his last debacle when he did not). It appears as though he is listening to shareholders and has corrected his previous mistakes. If you think that this is one big charade Dr Moro will be presented with an Oscar for his performance. IMO, I strongly feel that he will be accepting another award....the Nobel Prize.
I can't see us not succeeding at this point. The incredible thing that everyone must realize is that after all the complaining and worrying about this company possibly going belly up, is that there are so many things we are unaware of that are going on behind the scenes.
The bottom line is how impressive they have progressed in succeeding in EVERY mission set forth to further validate Recaf. At some point the scientific community will have to finally admit that this is for real and no longer discount the data as inconclusive.
Over and over again Dr Moro and his team have jumped thru hoops never slowing down for one minute on literally a shoe string budget. I have and will continue to put my personal money where my mouth is and have the belief that Recaf will be a major force in diagnosing and treating cancer.
This stock is "broken" and someone will take advantage of this situation and we will be bought. There is too much potential to let this technology fade away.
Ya think! I was saying that they treat this as if it were an experiment done in someone's basement. They should be at EVERY conference and involved in every discussion in regards to implementing this in every country. They'll spend billions on bombs to blow up the planet and kill innocent people and we have a chance to make a significant difference in humanity and end alot of suffering. I find it hard to believe that this is the reward for all of our patience and Dr Moro's efforts. This is a sad day for me. I thought we would have been a household name by now, but investor's patience have worn thin and this is the real world and silence is deadly and is always taken as a bad thing.
This is a way for me to vent my frustration. I personally have not, and most definitely will not sell 1 share. I strongly believe without any reservations that the science works, but it has been mismanaged. This is a 20 dollar stock. I know it could be. Whether they get their act together and react to the recent collapse in share price is yet to be seen. I just don't see this a competent reaction by doing nothing. Dr Moro, fight for it or it will be taken away from you.
They have literally abandoned their shareholders, and this is what happens when they turn their back....shareholders are not in a speculative frame of mind these days. If there was an immediate response they what put out the fire, but they obviously don't care. How can anyone be surprised when there has not been any information for months. I hope we do get bought and we have experienced, competent management. I have done the battle cry for quite some time, but I have always given them the benefit of the doubt. Today we are at a new 52 week low for reasons that could have been avoided. They can't be that naive.
Does anyone else realize we now have a market cap under 20 million......I predict we are bought out VERY SOON, and likely not on friendly terms.
I can't help my frustration.
As far as I am concerned management has missed every opportunity to make itself known and I am not surprised that people are jumping ship. Ted Kennedy is another example where they could console the Kennedy family and let them know that their family nor any other should have to endure the suffering and loss of another human life if they would help us fast track recaf. I think that sitting on their hands is no longer acceptable and they are their own worst enemy. I would never imagine the share price getting down to these levels, but they don't seem to be concerned or we would have heard something from them. I know they are on solid ground and they are progressing, but this is bordering on incompetence and is very disturbing.
If mgmt has learned from a huge blunder last year, they will talk about any invitation to upcoming conferences to investors AHEAD of the meeting. It proves to shareholders and investors that progress is being made and will have a positive reaction in share price. There is nothing that crosses the line with confidentiality by announcing an invitation to an upcoming meeting. If you are planning on presenting Dr Moro/Dr Wittenberg DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES. It is time to speak to your shareholders. We know that the science works, but let's see some leadership.
He pays some people a stipend and bonus in shares.
I suspect there will be more revenue from Inverness. They are extremely serious about the future of recaf. They won't make the same mistake Abbott did (because Abbott will pay big time in royalties in the near future). I think there is more to come and it was spread out to avoid raising flags, because we don't even appear in their 10Q. Good stuff! We may actually bounce off the bottom. We shall see........more to come!
IMO, we are just getting all of our ducks in a row.
I am not sure, but I have to believe that I can't be the only one that sees great promise with recaf, and that another licensee will shortly step up to the plate. I just have to wonder why they are clearly making a point of not disclosing certain material information unless they are, or will be asked in the near term. (Just my opinion).
