Due to copyright issues, I can't share the document, but the below title has been released as an ASTM standard.
ISO / ASTM52941 - 20
Additive manufacturing — System performance and reliability — Acceptance tests for laser metal powder-bed fusion machines for metallic materials for aerospace application
Imo, sigma Labs tech is fully capable of performing this task for single and multi-laser machines.
Any machine that doesn't have the same data capturing capabilities simultaneously like sigma Labs tech, would potentially take much longer to perform this certification process for each machine.
Combined with the inspection qualities of the software, this could potentially make an investment in the tech more viable to further our customer base.
Everyone needs to qualify their machines to run them.
No standards on parts yet, and all CT scan for approval.
IPQA data is supplemental to certification, but the time and money saved by reducing scrap, ensuring quality, and remote control is worth it's weight in Ti-6Al-4v.

Sigma Labs featured in TRX webinar for Real time monitoring of additive manufacturing processes.
Easy to see Sigma is currently only machine agnostic and most advanced ipqa solution in the industry.
Others listed in presentation are very basic or limited to specific machines.
Don't worry, no proof or evidence of how they would utilize sigma Labs IP simply to "test another software" as opposed to using it as a guideline for the industry standard, and how the standard is written.
IPQA will be the most optimal version as why NIST would want input from the leaders in the field on real time quality assurance.
Not to "use" the tech to only qualify other systems.
There's a reason why Sigma Labs management has been positioning the company to be the de facto standard of the industry.
They're smart.
And wouldn't allow their IP to be trampled without the proper use of their proprietary system for the company's profit.

That's their target market.
Sigma has just fully commercialized their product in the last year.
No company captures the target market of an entire sector overnight.

Both are described very thoroughly by a multitude of industry professionals as well as Sigma Labs, and has been throughout the life of the company.

Dude. You're talking about talking points people argued in like 2004.
Idk how you're still on traditional vs additive.
Sigma participates in the Additive market, a specific sector of said market, that does not compete with traditional at all whatsoever, because it's known the particular uses of additive and software like PR3D could not be replicated via traditional means.
That market, is still valued at over 2billion dollar and rapidly growing, of which, if Sigma is able to capture 5% of the metal am machine market, would put them at $100 million dollar valuation, as they've described and you've quoted.
So, I'm not sure what it is you don't understand, but it seems to be a lot.

Wow. You have two completely different markets confused.
Traditional manufacturing and additive manufacturing do not "compete" in the usual sense.
Both have their place.
The 5% figures Sigma remarks on are of the additive market, not manufacturing as a whole, and a 5% capture would significantly improve their valuation by about 10 fold, or 100 million dollar market cap.
5% is a significant capture rate of a particular market for any company.

Simply that the people who are in charge of outlining the standards are already using Sigma Labs technology and understand the capabilities.

Right, because what could being written into the requirements of the national and possibly international standards possibly mean for a tech company?
Idk...I guess we'd have to ask intel, microsoft, hp, AWS, etc.
I'm sure their investors sat around saying, things like "yeah but this news doesn't equate to any revenue" lmao. Unlike some, I'm sure they had enough foresight to understand the reality of what it actually means.

Exactly. Industry standard is unheard of to be as far ahead of the competition as sglb is.
No one has the tech to do what ipqa can do.
Industry standard will eventually not just be a recommendation, but an outline for what is required.
IPQA will just so happen to meet and exceed all the requirements.
Major OEMs, end users, and academia already signed or collaborating.
How investors aren't happy with an upcoming major overseas contract I'm not sure.
India presentation and Excel 3d pushing forward and the excitement is palpable.
AM is moving into mass production, and Sigma is the leader for in process monitoring software and hardware.
This has been the business model and plan all along, and now that it's coming to fruition, investors are claiming no contracts, no progress, no money, going out of business.
So laughable.

No, they can't.
Much like your inkjet printer will not print the picture exactly the same every time. Slight imperfections, ink quality and distribution, etc.
Now times that by 100, using a laser to melt powder.
When it comes to highly critical parts, where quality needs to be exacted and recorded for safety purposes, IPQA is a necessity.
The recent NIST study shows how IPQA can be placed on various machines to align them all perfectly for traceable mass production.
This has never been done.
This level of quality has never been achieved.
Printing perfect parts is what Sigma Inside will give anyone with the technology.

Also, beyond the random PPS numbers people are throwing out there...
At our current 8 Million dollar valuation, we are significantly valued below many other similar software companies in the market.
Many software companies with similar contracts and collaborations or less, can easily be found valued much higher.
With current sales rising and projected to being nearing half a million over the next few quarters, the ramp up could easily put a significant multiple on our valuation.
If we end the year with one million in total revenues, a 10 million dollar valuation would be appropriate.
From there, continued ramping of sales via continued increasing production of the industry as a whole continues this exponential growth trend.
This is where Ruport begins to appropriate a 100 million dollar valuation per every 5% capture rate.
5% of a current multi-billion dollar industry of metal 3d AM is right about where our trajectory is headed.
That $100 million dollar valuation, a 10x multiple of where we are now, is actually viable by the end of 2022 if our sales trajectory continues.
Putting us in the ~$25 range if share count remains the same.
I feel confident this is near the ground floor as far as the valuation of the company goes, besides normal fluctuations and the current offering.
Buying at a 5-8 million dollar valuation is a great buy imo, with the probability of achieving a significant multiple on an investment in a couple years.
