Sure wish I knew how to read those things. lol Give me a chart any day!
You are already green. Nice buy.
I might have bailed on that first PR, but that second one???? No way! That is a major player to be hooked up with!
Bounce hard, dammit!
Got great news and some unexpected news.
Welcome back. How do you like our rally?
LOL Good idea! We both have seen a bit of sleight of hand in our day, haven't we?
Agreed. That second PR was huge! And by showing they have a first rate distribution system in place, they set the stage for showing that subsequent contracts, assuming they are BIG) are viable and valid
They are working on the Law of Averages. Throw enough crap on a wall and you're bound to see some stick at some point.
That's pretty decent news. A shame everybody is selling into it
Usually there is at least one person who comes on about now and says they just spoke to Steve Weiss. LOL Anybody? Anybody? Bueller? Bueller?
Bingo.
It's not a great stock until they prove it is a great stock. Contracts will prove that, so they need to release PR's about them. Without that, it is just more speculation
Just hate to see wasted momentum. Simple as that. Why make yourself make up the ground you've already gained?
Starting to look that way. I personally dislike afterhours PR's, so I hope they aren't thinking about one of those. There is still time today though
Whoops. I see it has begun already. damn.
The price will begin to fall off again as the PR-less afternoon wears on. If they have news for today, it would sure be great to see it soon.
Just curious. You have a better grasp on things than many, including and especially me, IMO
Still thinking PR today for AQUI?
More reliable than past time frames would be volume. If you see volume building, something is probably on the way. We will see.
FWIW, I went back over a few PR's for AG, and most were released from 1-3PM
Looks like the gap from a couple days ago is pretty much filled
Bingo. Agreed.
Hey swizzer...Funny thing is, that was another Canadian compant with alleged Asian ties, wasn't it? Looking for better things from this one. Hope we are not disappointed, but this IS the pink sheets, too....Hmmmmmm lol
Weak hands, or smart traders? That whole "weak hands" thing never really held any water with me personally. The selling is for capital protection. They can always re-purchase when and if news comes
It all is, until we hear the real scoop directly from the company
Good amount of selling pressure just now. News would stop that on a dime
Absolutely. Plenty of time today to release a PR yet.
They supposedly have contracts in hand, which were going to be released, before DaSilva even got the latest invitation to China, and folks who were at the investor conference heard them say the news would be released upon symbol change, not 2 weeks after. Now they were nice enough to wait for people's account to become unrestricted, but I would think that the PR's they were forecasting before DaSilva got invited to go to China are still eligible for release. JMO of course
LOL Knew I should have waited for the actual PR, instead of counting on a premarket release! Broke one of my rules. Oh well. Hopefully something will come later today, this week as worst case scenario
ranger...I am done discussing it. Good fortune to you
Scottrade online down for anybody else?
doc Scroll back. I am the one saying that AG will go where the profit lies, and will not be playing the altruistic role of supplying water to those who are in the most need in China. This thread came about because posters last night were posting articles regarding the dramatic shortages of water all around China, and implying that this was relevant to AG. I maintain it is not. Now I have made my point a multitude of times, a lot of different ways, and frankly, am tired of the whole topic. Everybody should draw their own conclusions. I have drawn mine. Good fortune to you!

Pre-market today would be even better!
You assume this lesser brand of water would be for the disenfranchised "masses". Bottled water is usually sold in convenience and grocery stores and gas stations and the like, which implies urbanization. We don't know the demographic they MIGHT decide to pursue, so we shouldn't be thinking we know what their business plan will be before they even do. The ONLY reason stated to go with a lesser brand is to be able to use multiple bottlers. They will sell it where it is profitable, and to those struggling disenfranchised, largely rural people is probably not high on their list.
You miss my point. From the earlier posts, one might surmise that this was a board dedicated to helping the poor in China, and that is exactly what I was saying should be avoided. For the record, I am "actually in the stock" as well.
Sidney....Just trying to keep expectations reasonable and reality-based. The scale of China's water shortage will not be lessened by single serving containers. Posters here are implying AG will somehow lessen China's woes, when in reality, the ones who are really suffering are not AG's target demographic, nor are they likely to be. But I am basically done with the argument. I have made my points. All are free to draw their own conclusions, and as i said, i hope everybody's investment here is very very lucrative for them
My point is the same as Jeff's point. I don't believe Aquagold will have anything to do with solving the Chinese water shortage problems many here are citing articles about. That is dreaming IMO. A lesser brand of bottled water would still not make a dent in the problem. The affected people need infrastructure, and vast quantities of water, for irrigation, etc., and they don't have the cash to pay for bottled water. Help for them must come from their government. There is no profit in it for private companies, so Aquagold will not venture there. To imply anything else ignores the economics of the situation

Thanks, Sidney, but that strikes me as a distant "we might" scenario. I prefer they make work what they have on the table right now, to see if they can even really sell water in China. They haven't really proven the business model yet. let's see the first product start selling successfully before thinking about a second
