anyone know how to post VaporFi art to our page? i think we need to turn the page. we have hit rock bottom lol
to infinite and beyond!
ya, their options are down in the doldrums with us! they won't sell. keep the faith.
Hang on!
adding another store in Ft. Lauderdale, that is 25 stores by december.
im in same boat, im only 23. i have just learned the benefits of diversification the hard way. i do believe that a lot of companies are getting into this space, so i don't think there is a company that is doing great (i cited that blu rev's are down).
i think the IVG merger and the biometric vape and app could be interesting.
i was in a vape shop the other day, three people were all trying to quit smoking and switch. we just got to give the market time. i have spent $75 in the past month vaping and i was only a casual smoker before. the opportunity is huge!
broken stocks don't mean broken companies...
ya, you have to believe management has to act with urgency here. can't go forward with some same leisurely tempo as before. it would be great to have IVG's numbers on the books next quarter. i think it would spiral if they didn't...
ya i don't know what he is talking about...
http://www.bizjournals.com/triad/news/2014/07/30/lorillard-profits-drop-in-second-quarter-amid.html?page=all
i guess you have to put it all in perspective, blucigs lost money this quarter as well, so that does confirm VPCO officers' thesis of e-cig saturation in this case. i suppose its possible that everybody could have had a bad quarter in this case...
i suppose if you believe in vaping as the future, then makes sense to hang on. 2015 regulations are the next big pill to swallow for the year. i do believe that if regulations are reasonable, the people that will be bought out in the future will be the people that carpet bomb the market with kiosks and vape shops. they really are popping up everywhere.
just a thought, maybe it makes sense to buy the juice manufacturers up that private label for all the other vape shops, create a vertically-integrated beast (johnson creek, nicvape, etc.)
ya its all bizarre, im sitting at a 6.31 average x 3000. IVG is the only real hope here. Seems like IVG are good retail operators, Molina is the jewel here. hopefully he can turn those stores into revenue machines, to give us some hope. i like VaporFi, etc. Vapor Corp is ultimately run by lawyers and finance people, seems like IVG has more of a grasp for marketing. they have super bowl commercials, youtube content, etc., so i ACTUALLY know what they are up to and paying for. (FYI you have to pay for infomercial time, you GET PAID if you hit youtube views, anyone else see the irony?!)
this industry has fastly evolved, i look at green smoke which was bought for a TON! and had nothing interesting going for it. They need to promote the marijuana offerings to get some buzz, store openings, etc.
luckily i am only 23, so this doesn't sting too bad. im just in the conundrum of whether i should buy cheap, long options or just let this ride....
feeling better today...
i hear you, but what is this infomercial? that is so retro...
forget the americig or alternacig or whatever...
that is a dog, e-cigs have moved on...
what the f*** is this infomercial? is this what they are paying millions for? did anyone think to put a copy on youtube. this is silly its 2014.
i believe in this stuff long-term, i was in a vape-shop this weekend and the register was ringing. i know this is a safe bet long-term.
long and strong! ill probably buy a few more shares before the merger goes through (i doubt they will announce that till the last possible day)
one thing that pisses me off, this informecial they keep talking about in the report. didn't they think about adding it to youtube?! get with the times guys, i can't wait for the ivg guys to come on, they are more savvy.
ya appears they are going with malls first, which is high traffic and perfect.
look @ the vaporfi stores set to open, they are venturing out of Miami!
24 by year end, although i bet they will carpet bomb with more
http://www.stores.vaporfi.com/
believe in the dream! IVG is the crown jewel
the quality of e-cigs are going to be a struggle for ALL companies, anything made by cheap labor will struggle. i have had Blu's that don't even start. Reynold's is the only e-cig made on an automated line.
the tank mod's seem to have better quality and can be fixed quickly by vapor shop employees.this is where the real growth is.
2015 regulations are the only real thing that can weigh this down, but even if they banned all flavors, Big Pharma would be interested in this market as a cessation device. i am confident that the government will continue to move SLOWLY on regulations this year.
because it is a nicotine product, not a tobacco, i think worst case scenario, they force the packaging to be black and white or something so it doesn't entice kids...
its hard to tell, they have krave, which is in dollar stores. probably single digits for the cig-a-like market
the tank market is half of the entire e-cig market, but cannot be tracked because it isn't sold in convenience stores. that is the growing market and it is kindof going off the trackable grid. read article, that is why the article is saying "sales shrunk"

vaporfi, i like the name!
are we thinking earnings next friday?
im just saying need a bit more flash on the marketing side, i think the marketing team is a bunch of old guys to be honest. no youtube videos of their stuff really, except coming from IVG's end. i think they will figure it out in time...
exciting, the IVG group is very good at what they do. Molina is the strongest of all the characters i have seen in this game. i think they are ready to carpet bomb the market with vape shops and bars. about to see them pedal e-juice subscriptions online!
this stock has been pounded into the ground. i think anyone that gives up now is crazy, this stock has a floor of $4 i believe. the market got pounded today, it was hard watching everything (i mean non-micro cap, normal investments) go sky high these past months, but i don't think this stock can get any lower really.
excited to see how they rebrand in the coming months, i feel like all parties are pointed in the right direction.
i'd say flatline, im not a finance person, but i doubt their income can't be reported on next statement. poured too much money into this stock at the wrong time
atleast they didn't wait until July 31 to report this.
anytime i feel worried about this stock, i get a new e-liquid and it puts me at ease. i am not all that happy with the PR, but they have a fine balance to walk. you don't want to piss regulators off with brazen behavior.
molina from IVG knows what he is doing. look into his history, i think ill hold my stock in this company as long as he owns shares in it...

vapor zone franchise cost
http://www.entrepreneur.com/franchises/vaporzone/334454-0.html
pretty interesting, a little steep in my opinion, probably will hamper outside investment.
i know if they put these in the younger, grungy areas with bars it would sell like crazy, especially if you could sell a little bit of beer
haha im in the same boat, my average is 6.31, which happens to be the 200 md avg. eventually it will flip and i can liberate some of the higher priced shares and wait for more opportune buying
i have been excited ever since if started looking into vapor zone, they average 400k web site visits per month and had a super bowl commercial (maybe foreshadows a 2014 ad while regulations haven't kicked in ? ) and adding more of their franchises. it says they are adding 3-4 stores by sept per their website. great youtube videos as well. the store layouts are pretty cool, i was against the whole retail strategy, but they aren't designed like sleezy head/vape shops which seems to be more towards the norm.
great business model if you think about it. sell off franchises, so you aren't necessarily on the hook, but can still sell product to your own stores. i hypothesize that Molina is probably generating most of his online revenue from the florida market alone.
http://www.stores.vaporzone.com/
my optimism is contingent that they close the IVG deal however...
Hang on!
i'll admit i am holding my breathe until this merger goes through
always remember people writing seeking alpha are offering their "expertise" @ pennies per view, essentially "free advice." that isn't really news. I agree PR can be better, but earnings drives all. IVG is an engine, they had a super bowl spot in the florida market last year
http://www.law360.com/articles/552330/miami-e-cig-maker-s-owners-sue-ex-partner-on-eve-of-sale
sounds like it is a preemptive suit, overwhelm the guy so he will go away. its better than the "broker" suing IVG, i suppose
i wouldn't keep my fingers crossed on the IVG sale, may take months to a year. Unless they just pay the guy off to cut the red tape
i bought and tried Reynold's Vuse this weekend. Awesome product, design, packaging - they really raised the bar on the entire category, even a cooler brand than Blu. VPCO needs to take note
interesting that the design was not a traditional cigarette, its like an LED and undecorated metal. The packaging has "Tobacco Product" and "designed by Tobacco experts" all over the thing. Now that Reynolds will own Blu, i think Big Tobacco is going to push for regulations soon
just ordered the express kit the other today, today i got a call that they were completely sold out of that model and were shipping me the XPS instead (they are going to recharging me accordingly).
lung societies aren't government, not too worried. we all know these will get regulated, demonized, and taxed.
i just ordered vaporx and USA e-juice in the mail ! :)
keep the faith!
yeag , its a heartattack, not a nightmare haha.
ya, this is a kick in the stomach. i wish they would announce when the earnings announcement will be.
http://www.sacbee.com/2014/06/26/6513480/e-cigarette-chain-madvapes-hitches.html
sort of interesting, i was initially against this whole store concept, but $40 mill in revenues is nothing to scoff at. it will be interesting to see IVG stores (once sale is completed) and VPCO kiosk franchising numbers. i wonder if VPCO has any mall kiosks with vaporX stuff ?? anyone know ? i have only seen the 51 kiosks that i thought were weird like 5 years ago haha
Ya, he didn't cover how online sales are legal foreseeable future (higher profit from direct to consumer sales). The difference between e-cig market vs the bigger vaporizer market. I think people just look at this market at first glance is e-cigs that are shaped like traditional cigarettes and are either disposable or semi-disposable, that's only really half the market, the other 1,000,000,000+ comes from the bigger models and refillable eliquid. Their will be more profit in that market because it is friendlier to online purchasing because of the degree of customization in flavors, etc.
Njoys, blu's, markten, vuse , etc. are friendly to retail stores like gas stations, where big tobacco has distribution. It's what they know,so they won't hustle! They have to sell wholesale, which means less profit and big advertising spend. This part of the market is going to be more and more competitive.
If you read last earnings and read between the lines, they said they will pursue the hobbyist part of the market. Not too worried about what this analyst said, he probably hasn't taken a drag or seen a vape shop
sadly, its likely because of the ticker. in my opinion, vape is probably the best one.
keep the faith!
pretty cool Johnson Creek youtube, the ceo is enthusiastic about the direction of the industry. anyone know who makes vaporX juice?
Hang on, Man!
