Right To Try is very encouraging and is already an option in more than 20 states. However, it can be a significant burden both logistically and financially for the sponsor of a drug to facilitate administration. Maybe DF and CTIX could offer access jointly but first it would take a patient who actually requests access under the Right To Try scheme. I don't know if that ever happened - anyone ?
I believe it could be both. $3 with more recent 10 K filing. That's coming up in Aug/Sep so not that far off. Or $4 if that happens sooner. Either way not next week. IMO.
I will post the response when I get his permission. Until then I'm speculating.
Yes, I believe CTIX could in fact uplist today if the audit statements were more up to date. But as they are not we need $4. Whatever comes first will trigger the event.
Uplist will happen when the 10-K is filed and / or we hit $4.
Purely hypothetically, of course
I think the CEO waits for either the pps to go above $4 or certain annual filings to take place which would make CTIX eligible for uplist with a $3 pps.
I hope he'll respond soon.
I asked Leo about the Nasdaq situation and got an answer earlier today. Forgot to ask if I could share and wrote back. He's probably busy. Haven't gotten his permission yet. Is it usually ok to post his replies ?
So much for land of the free
Thank you, BH. I appreciate your answer very much as you are the poster on this board that I respect the most. The science I can understand but I'll not claim to be a super investor. TA etc. is not at all my ball game. I'm good at buying and even better at holding the 3-4 bio stocks that I currently own. If I tried to trade and beat the market I would most likely loose all my money. Have been buying CTIX since the 1.40s and have never sold. My last buy was above 4 which proves that I'm not a super trader However, when I hit the sell button some time in the future, hopefully that will make me a successful investor.
I am more that sure that the science behind CTIX is strong but as we saw with Poly that's not enough. I share your views on management and I try to understand the mechanisms of the market. Your input is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Please, BH, with your experience explain why and who is doing this. I know it's quite obvious that someone would be looking for cheaper shares. Shorts might want to cover before it's too late. I get it.
But I'm not as deeply involved in the financial world as you seem to be so please paint me a picture of the person who would be doing this, his affiliations, his motive and his gains. I'm curious.
Exactly. It's very encouraging that CTIX is beginning to act this way. Mature. Solid.
$60 bn / 150 m. s.o. = $400 pps. A fine number to visualize just before bedtime on a Sunday evening.
My thoughts exactly. I'm very happy that CTIX is beginning to act like a mature company.
I'm not a fan of how Leo has handled the whole uplist thing but that aside there really is nothing to complain about.
1) A wait time between ph2 and ph3 of 6-12 months is perfectly normal. I've never expected anything else even though some have stated that QIDP should expedite things. 12 months is my expectation and again: Perfectly normal.
2) Requesting and scheduling meetings with the FDA take time. The outcome is not official until the minutes are released by the FDA which usually happens app. 60 days after the meeting. Perfectly normal.
3) Clinical trials take time and you really can't compare to any other sectors. A delay in my business might set me back a week or two. In biotech a delay can easily be 6-12 months. Perfectly normal.
But this is why I'm here. The uncertainty of these processes creates great volatility but for the educated investor also the possibility of a huge ROI if you can see through all the obstacles and hurdles. And if you have the guts to wait. Those who look for a big pot of gold and fast should play LOTTO or something.
Again, I think Leo could handle the Nasdaq situation better and I'm not a fan of his PR style in the past, but that being said CTIX has an impressive pipeline and things are moving forward in a pace that is... perfectly normal. Even fast compared to many other companies.
Relax. GLTA.
It's totally by the book that the sponsor has to wait app 60 days till the official minutes from an FDA meeting are released. Leo is able to confirm that the meeting took place but the outcome will have to wait. 100 % normal.
God bless you and your sister.
Me neither.
Hope you're right. Just seen the FDA draaaaaaaag these thing too many times to be disappointed if things aren't speedy.
Usually the sponsor has to wait for the official FDA minutes before knowing what is the final outcome of a meeting. They will be able to communicate how they interpreted the signals during the meeting but nothing final before the minutes which is usually issued within 30 days after the actual meeting.
I'm wondering if the CEO didn't know which minimum price requirement he was filing under at the time of the application. It seems strange that he has to call Nasdaq to ask why the application is still pending (as per the email to someone on this board). He should know, of course, that he filed under the $3 or $4 requirement and that this is why the application is not yet approved.
When was the last time that a PR from this company was about solid fact, dates or actual material news ? It's been a long time. Excuse me, but this is how good companies with solid science are failing due to clown management.
Either Leo Is lying or he's an amateur.
Leo should never have talked about uplisting in public before it would have been possible to execute. This is a circus.
Sierra is a scam. Sorry.
I would have loved to see a video from the CTIX poster but this Periscope by Adam Feuerstein gives a person who've never attended ASCO an impression of the general layout and setup of the conference.

Sierra is a scam. But maybe some day the headline will actually become true.
GLTA
The APF will begin a major campaign once the Dateline story has run. That will most likely expedite things in the U.S. a lot.
Bay Street notices CTIX ahead of ASCO:

Good answer. Good info. Thanks.
Sorry. Fat fingers.
If the time frame for primary is 11 weeks and 7 weeks for secondary how come the trial is set to finish in 18 months ? Is that a typo ? December 2015 seems reasonable.
If the time frames for 1st
I agree. IMO today's PR is one of the most encouraging ever. K Phase 2/3 is where words like "momentous" begin to sound vague.
Has the comp*n* ever disclosed how many additional patients they were seeking permission to dose ? Do we know if we are talking about permission for an additional 40 patients ending at 80 total ? Would be interesting to know the number of it's public.
Thanks.
Thanks a lot for sharing.
We couldn't hope for a better scenario. I really hope your schedule will permit you (two) to attend.
That's so true. If the strategy is buy and hold one shouldn't forget the last part: Hold.
Anyone who thinks a few months between ph2 and ph3 is just slightly possible is extremely optimistic and possibly never invested in biotech before.
What happened to your K failure prediction ?
