40% for SFRX, 40% for Heartland and 20% to State. The State's 20% is more geared to amount of artificts and not $ related. Often the more archeological significant items aren't necessarily the most $ so actual potential for SFRX can be greater than 40%.
Beautifully put Falcone (and right on the money).
From all I have read and looked into, I believe Site #3 is the Conception. See below...
You are basically correct LopsterPirate. However, some believe that the Concepcion was discovered a couple of years back by Rex Stocker’s group. They are yet to offer any definitive proof that they have even found a ship yet, other than a flint lock pistol and a handful of other artifacts.
Last word I heard, and this was some time back now, was that they were in a legal battle with some of the partners, and all work was halted until the issues were resolved.
The alleged location is near the NASA tracking camera just south of Melbourne Beach.

About the potential Heartland site:
November 2005 - MELBOURNE, FL - A flintlock pistol, a sword and a cannon possibly used by ancient mariners are making history teacher Tom Funk and his
Funk and his partners hope the wreck is from the famed 1715 Spanish Silver Plate Fleet. The fleet of 11 galleons set sail from Havana in 1715 laden with jewels, gold and silver, but ran into a hurricane along Florida's east coast. "Ten of the 11 ships were destroyed," said Funk, an archaeologist who teaches history at Satellite High School, in Satellite Beach. "Seven have more or less been found."
The shipwreck sites include spots near Fort Pierce and Sebastian, and the ships' high-value cargo gave the Treasure Coast its name. For the past decade, Funk and his partners have been surveying, exploring and researching what might be another of the treasure ships, in 43 feet of water off Melbourne Beach.
While exploring the wreck in late August, they found several artifacts that boosted their hopes. "Our artifact collection is pretty interesting," Funk said. "We have enough artifacts, I think, to show what period they belong to." There's the intact, silver-handled pistol and what appears to be a boarding sword, which has a curved blade and was known to be used by fighting mariners. The collection also includes some cannon balls, pewter plates and a stack of silver platters, which Funk said are beautifully embossed. "They look like a big turkey platter," he said. "We're sending (the collection) to a conservation lab for more study."
In the meantime, Funk and his partners will work on renewing the salvaging permits they need from various state agencies, such as the state Division of Historical Resources. Permitted salvagers can end up owning items they find, but 20 percent of the value of found treasure goes to the state.
The dive site worked by Funk's team stretches diagonally for perhaps a mile. The team includes members of Heartland Treasure Quest, from Georgia and Florida; Amelia Research Co., of Amelia Island; and Florida Research and Recovery, a group of investors primarily from Georgia.
A principle of Heartland Treasure Quest is Sebastian resident Rex Stocker, who was a member of the Real Eight Co. The Real Eight Co. worked with the famed Mel Fisher's Treasure Salvors Inc. in the 1960s to recover millions of dollars worth of treasure from the 1715 Fleet shipwrecks.
Taffi Fisher Abt, Fisher's daughter and the director of Mel Fisher's Treasure Museum in Sebastian, said she's interested to hear more about the items found by Funk and his partners. "It's quite possible this wreck is one of the 1715 Fleet," she said. "I have not seen any of these artifacts, and I haven't seen their log sheets, so I don't know for sure."
fellow ocean explorers eager for next year's diving season to arrive. They found the weapons in late August from a shipwreck about a half-mile off Melbourne Beach, north of the Sebastian Inlet, and plan to search the wreck more when diving conditions are at their best, usually about late May to October.
Maybe its a quiet period before a sale or acquisition announcement? The communication lines have been cut so something is happening.
Next week imo.
No, previous people in control thought that no good could come from excavating these wrecks unless it was a public entity (UF, etc.). They did not want to open the doors to treasure hunters so they shut them down until Kyle came along. Talk to Kyle.
Last week and I met with Kyle and Dr. DeBry. It is their understanding that the permitting side of site #3 is clear and that the only hold up has been obtaining the permit from the Florida Department of State (under which resides the Archeological office for the State). They have been told that the permit is due to be issued; when I don't know but could be any day. They are both very much looking forward to working at site #3. Dr. DeBry is totally focused on the archeological significance of what else will be found there (Heartland found some items that remain with the State I believe). I will say that with his advisory role and Kyle's determination to play by the rules and do this the 'right way' (vs. other treasure hunting companies) the relationship between SFRX and the State continues to strengthen in terms of the trust factor.
Per my discussions with Seafarer staff last week. That is their understanding.
I heard that all environmental permits were acquired by Heartland when they got the dicovery pemit and are still valid through extensions. Requirements were somewhat different then (such as ACOE which was not required for Juno but required for Lantana). Should be able to get to work as soon as pemit is issued by the Florida Department of State which should be any day.
Had an opportunity to talk with Kyle and meet Dr. DeBry last week. These guys are top notch professionals. Dr. DeBry's career experiences and knowledge base is just amazing. Felt like I was in the presence of greatness. Short version- all is well and moving forward. Theme of the discussion was that exact timeframes for when events happen or discoveries occur are not possible to predict and that patience and perseverance are key. Their positioning, strategy and targets are all good. It's only a matter of time.
Nice points Benchman.
I expect that we'll be back up to the 4's soon (if not higher) with an announcement of the permit for site #3 and more information about what SFRX expects to be there. Should be any day IMO. People will look back at these prices and regret not buying more. Strictly my opinion.
My sentiments exactly. Nicely put.
It seems like there are two camps here: the ones who know what SFRX is about and those who don't. The price right now is irrelevant until they get a find which I expect to happen when it happens. Until then it really doesn't matter if the PPS is 0.01 or 0.04. I expect much, much higher over the long term.
I know for a fact that there are several folks with many millions and tens of millions of shares who have been holding for awhile and buying more anytime the price wanders under 0.03. It may appear that a lot of nothing is happening when in fact this is all proceeding as planned or better.
If the 10-Q is done and ready to submit to the SEC, and it really should have been sent in months ago, wouldn't it be wrong of the company to not submit so investors have the latest information? I understand that they want to roll out items in a preferable timeframe and order, but as an investor in this company it seems wrong.
These reports usually contain dour pronosis' for the CEO's to err on the side of caution. There is no upside with the SEC for being optimistic in these reports. If you read most firm's statements you would swear they will go out of business
Unfortunatley, until a treasure company actually finds treasure, it's difficult for the stock price to go up. Permits are a great start, but gleaming gold and silver are needed. Kudo's to those who sell at 0.045 and then buy back in at a lower trough. I am not daring enough so I just hold.
Would be completely surprised if they weren't busy documenting the finds right about now. I am sure DeBry is like a kid in a candy store.
I am in Cocoa Beach this weekend (a good distance from Lantana) but the weather is fantastic. I guarantee they are out blowing and diving
Everything will change dramatically when they pull stuff up over the next few days
Ah.. yes, I believe we have reached the end of the micro flipping games. Let the real games begin.....
P.S. it was a good day for a last fill in the 0.03's......imo
That's a great saying BJ. Glad to say when this takes off, I will have none of those regrets. Going to be big. Very big. And, very soon IMO.
I sure wouldn't want to be one of the traders who sold out today and be missing those shares when this thing skyrockets. Has potential for a huge gap up since they will start diving and pulling good stuff up the day they are clear with permits. There would be little time or notice to jump back in the pool. Going to happen quick IMO. BTW- where is this 'shack' ya'll speak of? Would love to meet some of the actual people behind these avatars someday. It's been fun sharing this build-up time with ya'll.
"The point is, ladies and gentleman, that green, for lack of a better color, is good. Green is right, green works. Green clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit."
Sorry, getting giddy knowing what is on the horizon.
I second that. Dude, this is taking off even if you hear the rumors through a chain of 20 folks, this is real. Digging and very nice stuff brought up within the month. Already proofed by those who couldnt get a permit
True. Thanks for making me feel better. Could just be that followers are already loaded and need more eyeballs on VHGI. Inevitable if the market has any sense at all.
I really did expect much more of a bang this morning. Too many in disbelief? If even 25% of their website info is true then the current valuation is still way too low. Very strange. Usually I am the one late to the party but I feel like I misread the invitation and showed up a day early.
The State has a vested interest in this remember- they get 20%. Happen to know that Gov. Scott is all for this endeavor and has authority to direct his agencies to accelerate normal time frames. Possibility of salvage at site #3 getting underway first because Heartland had already secured ACOE permit. Site #3 estimated as a larger cargo volume ship than one(s) at Lantana. Will be very interesting very soon!
Looks like old news. Just saw same info was in the 10-K. Nevermind.
Looks like some issues between Seafarer and Tulco regarding contract on Juno site. Listed in the 'Material' section of the 10-Q. Is this old news? It's news to me.
Any chance of an overnight press release or would it have happened already?
Yes, I hate seeing the share price go down from the 0.037 mark, but the positive is that this may be the last opportunity ever to get SFRX at these prices. I know management has already estimated possible revenues from the existing sites (1 thru 3) conservatively in order to bankroll going after as many as 150 sites in the future. The end game doesn't stop with Lantana and site 3. They are focusing on the sites with the greatest chance of success based on research and advice from de Bry which is wise. Having to wait unfortunately is a necessary nuisance.
Also, heard that site #3 already has FDEP and ACOE permits complete. Stumbling block for Heartland was obtaining the dig/identify and salvage permits with the state archeology office. Met with a continuous stream of 'No' but that will change for Seafarer.
The only thing that has changed over the past couple months is that we're closer to the ACOE permit at Lantana and the permit to the State Archeology office has been submitted on site #3 which deBry is very excited about. Stock is going down due to impatience, fear and lack of knowledge.
Also, Heartland brought Lantana and site #3 to Seafarer because of they could not obtain all the necessary permits on their own. They have found items at these sites such as coins, etc. which give strong indications there is some very valuable cargo. Heartland and authorities has been fending off those who dive there illegally and without permits. Good thing is, any real salvage effort is completely noticeable on the surface so there is no practical way with regards to equipment, vessels, etc. for anyone to steal the cargo without someone noticing. Its still sitting there waiting for a firm to patiently navigate the politics and bureaucracy all with significant time and money needed to do so. Kyle is almost there.
IMO
I have a civil engineering project where the USFWS sent their clear letter to the ACOE yesterday and I received the Corps final letter today. This was a Nationwide permit rather than the Standard permit that Seafarer needs, but, things can happen quickly sometimes. From my understanding, there is no real habitat of concern at Lantana so National Marine Fisheries and USFWS shouldn't have issues. I think with the economic turnaround that they are just overloaded with permits these days. I am sure the sequester hasn't helped either.
Heard that the Army Corps received the last agency letter they were waiting on for the Lantana permit but still no firm date for when the Corps will issue. At least another step forward.
Sorry- they are certainly hyped about Lantana and the 3rd site, but are highly diligent and optimistic on Juno as well. More sites to come after the 3rd too. I would say by end of year things will look very rosy and by end of 2014 Seafarer may be a household name. I consider myself very lucky to have come across these events as they begin to unfold.
All I know is that the people in the know (KK especially) are all very optimistic and enthused. If that's not a signal I don't know what is.
Thanks to whomever pushed us back into green today. Just a much prettier color that makes me happy. Not that it really matters, though, when the color we want is gold.
