Google case in chief: We are Google. We do whatever we want.
This simply won't sit well with the jury. I just don't see a settlement at this point. Google had plenty of time for mediation, but pressed its luck.
Time to pay the piper.
Anyone have numbers on Cannacig sales by state?
Procedural errors by Judge Jackson on possible appeal won't be able to save Google. The substantive issues are to difficult to overcome.
Infringement is infringement regardless of GOOG attys try to spin it.
Time to cover your shorts, H2O!
But it would still be a "huge win," nevertheless.
Agreed. The time to get excited about settlement figures were prior to trial commencement.
Nice day for sector today considering overall market.
My question about a settlement was simply in response to your "not yet" comment.
I have been long here for some time not merely because of a possible settlement, but because of the practices of Google, the strength of the patents and my personal knowledge of jury psychology/persuasion. (especially in the Eastern District of the Commonwealth on patent actions)
A verdict in favor of VRNG dwarfs any possible settlement offer that GOOG
No worries. Just looking for more insight.
Oh yeah? Have you ever even been inside a courtroom on a civil matter?
Why not join the herd? There is little chance for you to see your high 2's unless, of course, GOOG wins.
Current predicted amount based on what you know? Or are you just as clueless as the rest of us here?
Bank, any new thoughts on COIN?
Heavy volume today!
The market proved you and your posts to be without merit.
Or Google insider hedge.
Okay. Which competitor(s)? If you are referring to MJNA, it's fairly obvious that the two are not exactly like CVS v. Walgreens and cannot be compared that way. Apples and oranges.
BTW, I'm long both.
Nice to finally see some shorts covering!
If this is true, why not do something about rather than simply crying wolf on a message board? You will never hear me whining about the money I have lost on speculative plays in this sector.
Bottom line: If you were not willing to risk the money that you invested here, then you simply should not have invested.
Then why don't you go and buy MJNA and make your posts there?
If that is the case, then why did you buy? On a whim? Is this your typical investment strategy? Good luck! WOW
The 60 Minutes episode also highlighted the fact that leadership in progressive states is also coming from publicly traded companies and their shareholders. Public companies in the space include those that focus on medical and science applications like Medical Marijuana, Inc. and Cannabis Science, as well as, those that focus more on the growing end such as GrowLife, Inc. and Hemp, Inc. According to GrowLife CEO Sterling Scott, “the very existence of fully reporting SEC regulated companies connected in one manner or another to marijuana and hemp based products was unthinkable even 10-15 years ago. Today GrowLife is one of several thriving public companies that are engaged in supplying the picks and shovels for this emerged industry while also behaving responsibly as regarding public markets and shareholders. The tipping point alluded to by 60 Minutes has passed.“
GrowLife CEO Sterling Scott predicts “it will be clear after the November 2012 elections that the country has already tipped."
The Prohibition of the 1920’s was repealed in a time not too dissimilar from ours. Then Americans faced widespread economic malaise and voters justifiably asked how can we justify spending tax dollars to enforce an unpopular and widely disrespected law while millions are out of work. Repeal it was argued in the early 1930’s would bring additional tax revenues and jobs that were desperately needed. The team at 60 Minutes has helped to country to realize, as have voters and innovative regulators in Colorado, that it is time for sensible policy across the country involving industrial hemp and marijuana.
Agreed. 3.50 is a good point for re-entry or to add.
An FDA panel voiced safety concerns about Kynamro, which is a PS-ASO drug, and JMP Securities thinks that the concerns have the ability to affect Sarepta’s competitor in Duchene Muscular Dystrophy, GlaxoSmithKline’s PRO051. The firm also mentions that Sarepta’s drug is not a PS-ASO, and it keeps its Outperform rating on the stock
and his attempt at logic.
At what point in the trials does SRPT become a more viable buyout option for Big Pharma?
COIN has not sold Terrasphere Systems or its vertical farming patents.
In April, MJNA acquired a license from COIN to use its patented vertical farming technology for producing medical marijuana.
There were discussions of a spin-off with shares of TS to be given to COIN shareholders upon completion of the spin-off. This has not occurred.
If you have documentation to the contrary, please let me know.

Likely in the same place where info is normally found on publicly traded companies, in the SEC filings.
You're obviously not here to buy or to really even try to get a clue. So why do you expect those who are shareholders to spell it out for you? Where is your evidence of the "scam" you are so often blabbing about?
Nothing much, just working on cures for AIDS and cancer.
Yes, VRNG shares in exchange for debt reduction and financing K restructured to postpone dilution until 2013 date or .50 pps. Debt was with Iroquois, same as VRNG.
Try sending an email with questions to COIN via the investor relations page. You'll get a response.
No news is good news.

The sector is very much in existence. The explosion will accompany legalization.
Vertical farming can occur anywhere. Marijuana is certainly not the only crop. Organic food consumption is on the rise worldwide.
Straight from the top of the ticket:
Johnson Norml street interview.
The timing couldn't be better for 60 minutes. Two week build up to elections was NICE to marijuana sector in 2010. The polls are actually favoring full legalization in CO and WA strongly this year. This should be huge.
Good luck to all!
Medical marijuana on 60 Minutes tonight.
Nice sector exposure!
COIN is no more of a spec play than VRNG. Considerable debt and immediate dilution possibility was eliminated because of VRNG shares. Regardless of public/private opinion, marijuana is here to stay. VRNG either goes up or down with a verdict or settlement. Long both, but I just don't see the value aside from patent plays here. A ringtone app with less than stellar reviews won't get VRNG far without this case and NOK portfolio.
Very nice! Green party candidate got arrested outside of last debate for silently protesting. Apparently her message was successfully sent. Perot got 18% of vote as an independent. If others don't send a clear message, expect HIGH turnout for Johnson. That will certainly send the message.
And if neither does, just watch how many votes go libertarian. He already has the vast majority of votes that would have gone to Ron Paul. Johnson has spoken publicly several times about legalization. Others won't touch it.
Too bad that debate moderators also further the silence, especially considering the first was in Colorado. I mean, hello! I'd say marijuana is kind of an issue there, if anywhere.
The Safe Access v. DEA case is best bet. There seems to be too much pressure from Big Pharma lobbyists for the executive and legislative branches to fulfill their elected duties.
Coin's patented Vertical growing business and fertilizer = no pesticides, no pollen, indoor growing anywhere in the world. The entire sector could/should explode!
Cannabis +1, Media -1,000
Yeah, seriously. He was like Beavis, or Butthead. I just can't remember which one. Huh uh uh uh smell it yah yah!
What a moron.
