Ah shoot! Are you telling me that all the money i invested in Comic Suits Inc. is useless!? Well, guess this superman suit I've been wearing wont buy me time until kevetrin is released to the public. Good, it was bulky under my work cloths. Ha ha ha
Thanks, we're all hoping for the best of luck with kevetrin as well. And in the lab results kevetrin is that apoptosis drug, it is a first of its kind drug and why there is an enormous amount of potential. I hope all the best for your drug with its anti-inflammatory progress as well!
I think the disconnect is this: no one here is interested in curing something that 'causes' cancer, we are following this board because CTIX found a way to cure the cancer itself. Turns out comic rays damage DNA and likely causes cancer, someone plugging cosmicray-proof suits would also need to plug elsewhere. If some people on the board are interested in curing inflammation induced ailments, they can search them out. You're fishing for support of your personal investments in the wrong place.
It will be a great day when kevetrin stops the primary causes of cancer proliferation in the body, this way the body's natural defense mechanism of inflammatory response can do what it has evolved over time to do, rather than be taken advantage of by cancerous defects. Dangerous game sacrificing natural defenses to cure something you don't understand - I'm glad the brilliant minds at Cellceutix CTIX understand the activation of p53.
I'm still failing to see the "competition" with CTIX's pipeline. That is what my reply was regarding, not the potential of the other company.
Uh... wrong board? Unless you are suggesting removing cancerous products from cigarettes is competition to a cure for lung cancer??? I'll take the cancer cure play any day!
If it were a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, then Obi Wan would be screaming "Buy CTIX in Nov 2012!", haha
Totally Positive! Have we ever had a negative PR - NOPE! Gotta love this company - CTIX, gotta love this CTIX CEO and how he communicates with his shareholders, gotta love this CTIX scientific advisory board, etc. etc. but most importantly - gotta buy more CTIX!!!
Everyone out there that hasn't followed their gut and jumped in yet... times a wasting. You know you feel it! Obey your gut!
A Friday after the closing bell PR post to the cellceutix website is common (meaning it hits the market newswires before Monday's opening bell). I would not be surprised if we do not see a p21 biomarker PR until late Feb or March. I, like everyone else, am hoping to see one way earlier - ie, Dec 7th. But I will also be quite happy if we get a PR stating nothing more than "the Phase I trial is advancing onto the first dose escalation of the second cohort."
I think that at least the CTIX 'key date' of 12/7 is a hopeful date, not an expectation date. 12/7 marks beyond the end of the first cohort, meaning that if p21 biomarkers were measured, that would be about the earliest we would receive an "it looks like it's working" PR. However, Dr FG's prior post where he provides an email correspondence from Leo, tells us that 1st cohorts are given a dose that is usually too small to show anything - just a test dose. So if we do not get a kevetrin progress PR around Dec 7th nobody should get excited, it might take another 8 weeks longer until the 3rd cohort is complete. All just speculation/IMO of course. Doesn't mean we won't get an awesome PR about something pertaining to kevetrin or prurisol or etc. on or around 12/7.
Psoriasis drug 'slows Dementia'

I like how the price is holding. No one wants to miss out on the next phase.
Was that your nice 99cent paintjob noretreat?
"Donnie, you're out of your element!" comes to mind
Anyone know the history of what made their climb begin? Was it merely speculation and awareness of potential? I am reminded of Wayne's World - then they tell two people, then they tell two people, then they tell two people,...
I wonder if we see this spread like wildfire before any noticeable ignition source is PR'd...
they buy 10000 shares and tell two people, then they buy 10000 shares and tell two people, then they buy 10000 shares and tell two people...
Important rule about buying a car (or anything for that matter) - after you make your purchase, stop shopping for better deals, drive and enjoy. I already made my purchase, I'm jumping up and down excited and will hug and high-five about it all the while! I love my new ride - CTIX!!! Woohoo!!!
Oh yeah! Now this should do something Monday. This is fresh news that includes a schedule, and end results will be very close to the first doses.
CTIX is officially clinical stage!!! eom
So much stored energy about to release! All this potential is about to convert into kinetic, i can feel it!
Dosing has happened it appears, that means p21 evaluations are occurring. Imminent PR could be truly massive.
You nailed it - a rare find calls for a rare strategy - i sure ain't investing in this one like i do with the others in my portfolio.
You're forgetting the rest of the pipeline. If we use 50% chances:
Chance one loses with kevetrin .50
Chance one loses with prurisol .50
Chance one loses with autism drug .50
So total chance one loses with CTIX is .50 x .50 x .50 = .125 That's 87.5% chance you WIN. And i only included 3 compounds. I don't feel bad about having way more than 10% of my portfolio in a 87.5% chance of a 100 bagger!
Totally, with the sorry state of big pharma portfolios these days, if the bidding does start below $10B, then it goes north of $10B quick. What big pharma passes on this??? They all bid if kevetrin starts showing potential blockbuster status.
Good luck - hope that fills for you. And shortly after it fills I hope CTIX climbs like crazy!!!
On another note, I hope the remaining water in the north eastern seaboard does exactly the opposite of climb like crazy and everyone affected gets some sunshine and normalcy in short order.
Ah man, recent decision to close markets Monday and maybe into Tuesday, perhaps you get to sleep in after all. However, next open market day could be quite extraordinary.
Woohoo!!! I do believe we may see our last shares go for under a dollar in the morning, perhaps forEVER. Fine by me!
My .85 bid filled at .84? What kind of shake out is this? I'll take it, but this is confusing.
Regarding the CTIX board, I second that - I wish we could leave the best board on ihub (by popular opinion I might add) as it has always been.
Unexpected dip? Haha, naw - good news out and the pps drops, that's signature CTIX. I'm not dogging, we've all witnessed it so many times - hey Kelt, time for 'news as it never happened'! Problem is with Leo's lunch and dinner money going to CTIX, he's holding on to the sandwiches and coffee cups extra tight, hasn't drop anything for a while now!
Thanks TOB! - Great CTIX posts and I do like being reminded as to why I own so many shares 1000 people each investing $10,000 in Cellceutix, on Kevetrin, on Prurisol - looking forward to that!
So at a minimum we would perhaps expect a "Cellceutix is pleased to announce that the first administered doses of Kevetrin were well received by the first cohort and no dose limiting occurrences exist at this point in the study." Or something like that, eh? I'll take that - that is a positive as you say. I'm so curious as to the possibility of receiving even that PR. I can wait... I guess. Amazing how even a year later my interest continues to grow.
Has anyone asked Leo directly if he sees first cohort update PR's in our future (initial p21, tox, etc.)? Or rather if CTIX feels they would prefer info from more than just 3 patients before they jump on a PR? I thought about constructing an email, but someone else either has or would be a name Leo recognizes.
I've been reading this board for over a year and am one that enjoys all the posts, including the 'just for fun' posts. Don't take my 200 - 300 comment too seriously, I'm not holding out for that much, fun to imagine tho! 'Just for fun'
So we'd be talking $200 - $300 pps
I could definitely deal with Prurisol being just as ridiculously awesome and valued as Kevetrin.
That does make sense, if the public is expecting then not providing could be damaging to overall interests - my expectation for an early PR is perhaps beginning to trend up...
I would love to see early PR's!
Right, not Kevetrin success, but success that Kevetrin is doing something in humans. The question is - can such a PR have more benefit than risk to DF/BI? If the answer to that question is 'Yes, the benefit outweighs the risk' then I would expect to see a PR. Can someone make a business case for releasing that info early, that is how I would determine if I expected to see an early PR. I just don't have the experience in the field to understand if the business case exists for an early PR, if anyone does - please share.
What would the potential benefit toward DF/BI be if a PR were to go out about p21 success? Any of you analysts out there have a grasp on that? I imagine if the benefit is there, the PR will be there. If there is no benefit, or such a PR about the early success would cause disruptions to the study, then I wouldn't expect to see an early PR. I guess I can see it both ways - interest/money flows into the institutions, or too much early publicity creating too much hype at risk could be destructive to DF/BI reputation (should p21 exist but for some reason tumors don't shrink). I hate to say it, but business do not like to boast products before total confirmation, just not wise from a business sense. Hope I'm wrong, I would love to see an early PR on p21, but I won't blame them for waiting till tumor shrink occurs. That still leaves plenty of PR's to provide, just not detailed study result PR's.
I'm with you Drano - loaded to the tippy top and a calm 'don't worry, be happy' aftertaste on each refreshing sip/gulp of guinness.
You all are being way too pessimistic! With the power to cure all these diseases do you really think that's where they will stop? If they can cure cure it, they can create it. Come on, I mean start intentionally giving people cancer, psoriasis, autism, just so you are the only one who can take it away! I'm thinking start taking over the human race - start country at a time (they already got a foothold in Europe and India) eventually everyone will be begging at CTIX's feet for the CTIX-given right to live! $100 per share is nothing! CTIX will control the world! Hehe, I jest Go CTIX!!!
There's a blurry spot in my vision shaped like '$' , if prurisol was their only drug i would be in this deep, awesome!
This is healthy in the long run, the more shares in us longs' hands the better. A day or two for some conversion, ok fine.
Now get busy and go heal some people DF and BI!
I already have too much, but these prices...
Completely expected to wander down, but when word comes out that first dosing is occuring I imagine this gets quite fun to watch again. The suspense is almost too much! Too bad the weak out there can't hang with us :)
